## Resolver Reviews
  ### 1. Resolver offers a deep and diverse range of products, and employs a highly professional team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marlon K. | Business Intelligence Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

The user interface is deeply customizable, and it is possible to connect to the data for visualization in external BI tools.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

There is no guard tour module in the SIEM suite, which makes it more difficult to justify a move to Resolver from a system that includes guard tour, as well as all modules available in Resolver Command Center.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a relatively new customer, but already we are seeing the benefits of switching to Resolver, as we were used to a much more tedious and manual configuration process. It will be an easy system to provide training on when we onboard new admins, as well as deploy to end-users.

  ### 2. User-friendly, but I do think there are improvements that could make it more efficient for the user

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiffany P. | Supervisor Security , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

The ease of entering dispatches and bringing officers on/off duty

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

Cannot see all of the information that I need to easily, such as an officer that responded to a certain call from "closed dispatches"

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Officer Mobile has been a friction point for us with constantly kicking officers out of the application. Also, in some of the reports that I'm generating...there are often several blank areas when exporting to an Excel document.

  ### 3. Very configurable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander A. | Regulatory Compliance Management Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

user-friendly interface and potential to adjust the configuration for the needs

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

a need to look for solutions rather than already solved chalenges that Resolver is proposing

**Recommendations to others considering Resolver:**

Don't underestimate the internal resources required to understand and configure workflows that solve your organization's specific needs.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compliance processes supported through GRC workflows. User interface is easy to navigate and, therefore, easy to onboard users in the organization

  ### 4. Very satisfied with the Resolver platform and service provided

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mining & Metals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

The simplicity of the platform to use and generate reports

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

Some of the inter-module interactions and inability to combine reports

**Recommendations to others considering Resolver:**

Understand the end product you wish to see before starting to develop the tool

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Incident Management and Risk Management interactions

  ### 5. Resolver Core Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Safety | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

Resolver Core flows easily once it is set up, and it is customizable to your needs. Creating custom reports has improved and its easier.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

It still has bugs and some flaws when exporting to PDF file format. The learning curve is not easy to use Admin features. DIspatch APP and Core don't communicate the way they should.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Exporting to PDF and creating custom forms. The Resolver support team is excellent, they respond quickly and either fix or show you how to fix most issues.

  ### 6. I have worked with both softwares Core and Perspective. Both softwares are great.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul M. | D, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

I like the ease of workflow within CORE.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

I think that Resolver did not take enough of the security aspects from Perspective and implemented them in CORE.

**Recommendations to others considering Resolver:**

Ask a lot of questions. Make sure to have Resolver integrate your forms that you use.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems with COre is that we are trying to customize it to our needs within our workforce.. The functionality allows for this with some fine tuning.

I think Resolvers suggection portal really brings this home.

  ### 7. Expert Knowledge of Product Design for Corporate Security

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

All the teams have an inherent knowledge of product design and change management requirements for the corporate security landscape. From Sales to Services, everyone has been very friendly but focused. There is a focus to stay on task and achieve the objectives.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

Laborious contract negotiation. We are still in the early stages of requirements gathering so it's premature to identify too many other dislikes.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We will quantify risk from a security perspective across the enterprise and translate operational recommendations into business objectives. In doing so, it allows operations to transform into a "revenue" stream and move away from being a cost center.

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

Our day to day contacts were very responsive and always insightful.

Case Management for three stakeholder teams at Nike.

It took quite a while to implement but must understand Covid has been complicated on every aspect

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We mainly use it for investigation reports after accidents occur as well as managing unsafe conditions

  ### 12. General review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

Its user friendly, they way its set up makes in easy to capture data

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

The reports section, could be little more friendly

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its been very help full to keep track on incident, we are able to have better statics and data to identity areas where we are having situations and work on minimizing these.

  ### 13. First time buyer of GRC

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2021

Collect it once and map it to many standards

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

No complaints thus far. Will update this later one post go-live

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

Highly flexible "one stop" GRC platform.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

Efficiency in creating compliance assessments
Logging of key "incidents"

  ### 15. Highly configurable solution for incident and risk management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

A high degree of reconfigurability available to users. It is possible to handle all the administration part entirely inhouse.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

I would wish to have better audit trails on changes made to incidents and risks

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More efficient incident and risk management, improved reporting, possiblity to import various data structures to have a better view on interconnections between incidents and risks

  ### 16. Great GRC tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura D. | Associate Vice President Compliance Special Projects, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

Resolver is a very flexible database, very user friendly and we have been able to reflect our own processes in the tool. The transparacy provided in by using the tool has been beneficial and noticable across all parts of the organization that use Resolver.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

In rare instances, there is a grouping of legislative requirements that doesn't not seem to align with our orgqanizations understanding of those requirements. However, Resolver is very responsive to concerns like those and makes changes were it makes sense across their customer base. This is not a show stopper in any way in our processes.

**Recommendations to others considering Resolver:**

Engage Resolver's sales team and have candid discussions of what you want out the the software. The more candid the discussion, the better the result!

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resolver provides us with a consistent, automated solution to managing risk rather than the manual spreadsheet processes in the past. It has provided us efficiencies in our processes as information is at your finger tips, reporting is dynmaic and real time, and we spend less time creating communications as poeple have instant access to what they need. And lastly, we have enforced transparent accountability across the orgainzation for managing risks day to day.

  ### 17. Very useful, effective tool very complete.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in International Trade and Development | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2019

What I like about this software is its agility, analysis, optimization, resource performance. It adapts to the needs of different companies. It is a good software.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

I do not have any dislike of this software, since it meets all my requirements and I am very satisfied with how it processes the information.

**Recommendations to others considering Resolver:**

That they continue giving updates and improvements to the software, since it is a very complete software that is well worth its handling for our needs.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

using this program I have not presented any testimony, since I only have aspects that I did not like that in previous words I have made them known and despite this it is an excellent software.

  ### 18. The RiskVision platform delivers industry-best usability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2018

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

The RiskVision platform delivers industry-best usability, automation and time-to-deployment advantages to help you identify and reduce the threat of cyber attacks immediately.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

I have dislikes, it was pretty easy to use as well as train people to use

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

bring higher data integrity, and ultimately greater IT efficiency. manage remediation activities based on business risk.

  ### 19. Reliable software that is very suitable for multi-locations and multi-projects entity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin P. | Director - Internal Controls Management, Investment Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2017

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

The fact that all documentation is at one place for all locations for different types of projects. It is easy to navigate within the platform in the different projects we have (52-109, ERM and maybe others). The Resolver Team is also very helpful and competent with a special mention to Darren Di Marco who helped us in our different implementation. He always had answers to our questions and was always looking for the most efficient way to achieve our goals.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

Some incremental features like every software but nothing that needed to be noted.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the benefits we observed is the standardization of all controls over all our divisions as we are working with a Framework Library. Reporting is also easier with some Dashboards of the work in progress as well as for all results.

  ### 20. I am responsible for the execution of SOX testing assessments across Newmont Mining Company

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emy M. | Senior Manager, Internal Controls, Mining & Metals, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2017

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

I like that it is a true repository of our internal controls structure and the information required to support it as well as a tool that can be shared to view information across the globe.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

the metrics to extract percentage of testing completion are not user friendly and requires too many fields to be completed to use the automated resolver calculation. This forces us to track this on excel manually.

**Recommendations to others considering Resolver:**

Implement a version and review its requirements and deliverables in reference to your business needs annually-don't let the product become stale and not used to its potential

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to standardize internal controls across multiple regions of the globe, and resolver allows us to share the regions' best practices of control execution and documentation.

  ### 21. Easy to use and to Implement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon C. | Intern, Enterprise Risk Management, Banking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2017

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

This software is really easy to use. It is easy to navigate inside the sections and to create the reports needed. Implementation was also really fast, did not have any issues. The information stored inside the software is easy to access. Users have te hability to create their own reports and dashboards. Being able to chose easily what is shown on screen is very helpful and being able to extract data to more commonly used softwares like Microsoft Word or Excel is great.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

Navigation inside sections and with different views can sometimes be hard. Also, the loading time is generally slow. The filters you can apply on your reports are all also based on "and" instead of "or", being able to use both could be a great addition.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Resolver for Enterprise Risk Management. It helps us to keep our action plan organized and to have easy access to information and updates.

  ### 22. Resolver is our go-to compliance tool!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cynthia (Cindy) O. | Compliance Business Analyst, Utilities, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2017

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

1) The ease of use of the software for the process owners or SMEs. We started out with a manual process and something always seemed to "fall through the cracks". With Resolver GRC software, the workflow and tracking ability let's our process owners, managers and compliance team know where the process is at all times.
2) Another great thing: having a support package, the response time of the support team is usually within 15-20 minutes and the team is very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable!
3) The project managers are very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.
4) Having worked with the software from configuration to working stage, minor changes and additions to frameworks can be made with ease.
5) The ability to post suggestions for improvements to upcoming upgrades via community ideas and suggestions website and upgrade and maintenance notifications in advance of changes.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

The inability to interchange the GRC Programs with the Location and Corporate Planning Framework.

**Recommendations to others considering Resolver:**

An invaluable tool is the support package - it includes training and support on upgrades to software.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Process owners are able to complete documentation at any time and certifications can be performed quarterly or yearly, processes being completed in a timely manner and before deadlines are reached; reports can be run at any time; neat packaging for auditors. Process Owners are able to commit time to compliance, whereas without the software, compliance would be left on a to-do-list and left in the background.

  ### 23. Transparency Achieved!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathy H. | GRC System & Reporting Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2017

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

My favorite feature is dashboard reporting, available for all levels of management, which allows complete transparency and accountability for all modules (Quarterly Certs, SOX Compliance, Issue Tracking, etc.).Our company operates internationally and this product enables us to reach all employees as required. The automated email notifications are very helpful as they remind users of key deliverables.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

The system can be a bit sluggish especially during high volume usage. My understanding is that this issue will be resolved with the upcoming release of Core.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the main outputs of audit work performed is the identification of audit issues. Management would then be responsible for remediating the issues. However, there was no easy way to track progress. We were able to build an audit issue tracking module that allows us and management to easily monitor all audit issues and their current state (in progress, overdue, closed).

  ### 24. Resovler keeps us on track!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2017

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

We use resolver to house and track our controls for 52-109 testing. Resolver keeps us organized and has great reporting capabilities so we can stay on top of our testing.
 - love the reports
 - ease of tracking status of controls
 - Process owners can use it to update documentation
 - External auditors can use it review our controls
 - keeps everything together and organized

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

 - Can be difficult to "fix" - for example adjusting frameworks already set up or adding permissions.
 - Still can't figure out why my "reviewers" show up in some areas but not in others
 - not always user friendly

**Recommendations to others considering Resolver:**

Fully understand how to set it up.
Get administrative training
Consider buying a support package

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

52-109 - tracking, updating and maintaining controls.

benefits - process owners can log in to resolver and sign off on their certification quarterly. This used to be a manual process and would hours to track. Its now automated through Resolver and when the process owners have signed off; I can run a quick report to show the results.

We also have the external auditors use resolver to review our controls. This also used to be a manual process. We would have to save and zip each file to email to the auditors. Now the auditors sign in to resolver, run a report and review the controls. We also use fields to highlight the controls they are re-performing.

  ### 25. Resolver Experience Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Philanthropy | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2017

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

I like having all the control information in one central location. We can break out the regions so it is easy to find which controls are applicable to each region.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

Not user-friendly enough. Too much clicking to expand a process or for generating reports.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benefits are allowing our external auditors to view the work saved directly in Resolver as well as having the control owners upload their support in Resolver. This saves time requesting and sending information.

  ### 26. Senior Technology Consultant

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2017

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

The software is not a generic offering but tailored to the way you do business. This tailoring required input from teams using the software in a workshop setting to iron out the details and was well facilitated e.g. offerings alternatives, exploring deeper into options etc...

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

Once the business structures have been defined they are so interrelated that it can be difficult to easily manipulate and retrofit elements therein.

**Recommendations to others considering Resolver:**

The key for use, I would suggest that you have knowledge about what you are trying to achieve and drill into the details with all who would be using the product. The upfront work pays off in spades after this steep ramp up.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing a vast amount of compliance and audit information. The benefits have been such that we can manipulate the data in bulk via a 'reporting' tool, sort and analyse information better and faster.

  ### 27. Brilliant

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian C. | Senior Audit Associate, Mining & Metals, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2017

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

Ease of access and system navigation. I really enjoy being able to view at a snap shot the percentage completion of SOx testing.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

The system at times can take longer to upload documentation.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Central repositiry for all SOX related information. Business units can easily and document the work they have performed.

  ### 28. Great Compliance tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2017

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

That we are notified when régulations are updated

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

Resolver is not user friendly. It hard to learn how to extract report.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compliance

  ### 29. Quick, simple and very adequate

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

I like the simplicity of the application best. It's easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

Not beeing able to make an automated report of the session.

**Recommendations to others considering Resolver:**

try it, and you will be sold.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Risk assessments in the Railway sector. Performed hunderds of assessments.
