**What do you like best about Resolver?**

I like how easily configurable it is and how quickly form changes can be made. We are also able to have all 2nd and 3rd line teams working out of the application and tracking issues in the same tool.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

As an admin, there isn;t a way to bulk permission a role to varorious objects. Also, the trending in the indicator application only works as of entry date as opposed to a selected as of date.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resolver is helping us to have more transparency across all 3 lines of defense as well as the ability to track issues across the organization for greater visibility and accountability.

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

Out of the box Resolver software can be tailored to individual business needs. The flexibility to build custom business solutions for use cases unrelated to the Resolver out of the box applications, and typical target market,  truly make this platform stand out.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

Needs more flexible staging and deployment processes for change management and accessibility to new applications.
Needs better attachment handling and preview functionality (ex. browser image viewer) that don't require an opt in to use Microsoft Office web applications with Microsoft username and password.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Documentation and data collection on incident occurances and responses to a variety of different use cases.

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

Our team has been able to create workflows that enable both Operations teams and individual Security teams collaborate on Physical security Incidents Globally. We were able to customize to include Incident reporting, investigations, Threat Assessments and Security Service Requests.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

The UI is not engaging our intuitive for our non technical end users. Reporting features are limited even wiht the new BI dashboards and I am not able to see quick scalable implementation of their product Roadmap as I would have expected.

Enabling Security and HR Crossfunctional Collaboration.  As well as an Intake Process for our employees to reach security.

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

Realtime reporting and data trending is very helpful. We are able to monitor who is and who is not using the application with just a few clicks. The ability to tailor reports to our needs has been extremely helpful. Their customer service is extremely attentive and timely.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

To date - there is nothing I can say that I do not like about the program.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have expanded our campus and Resolver is allowingus to monitor each location under one umbrella. This is a great benefit to ensure we are capturing relevant information which will be shared with our leadership.

Resolver has a good and professional team. They address my concerns promptly and in a professional manner. I have been able to work with them on creating additional functionality into our RCM system and have it deployed smoothly into our core environment.

The RCM regulatory content can be improved.

Sometimes there are limitations on what can be done. Also, sometimes the updating of the system may not be the most user friendly.

Able to track metrics within my new business that previously were not being recorded.

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

We really appreciate the flexibility of the tool to be configured to work for our specific needs.  In addition, the customer support is very responsive!

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

Connect to PowerBI, while possible has been a significant struggle.  Our internal IT team has had to put in a lot of time to make the connection usable and it still isn't functional.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using the system for our investigation case mangement tool for EEOC, ethics and policy concerns.  The system has allowed us to build collaboration between departments and create a central location for maintaining documentation.

It is very helpful in the tracking of our work assignments in our security department. I like the the ability to assign work assignments to members of our security team, and tracking them until completion. It is also very easy to enter and track incidents.

There have been alot of upgrades that have taken place that have really help out in the areas that were previously lacking.

Workload management and the prioritizing of work assignments has proven to be huge in the success of our team.

I have been a resolver user for over 5 years now and love that the system is an all-in-one solution, the dispatch portal, investigation tools, and the ease of keeping all relevant case information linked together makes things easier.  Customer support is always very quick at resolving issues

If you don't use the program often it can be difficult for a beginner to navigate the system.

Security Dispatching, Incident Management and reposnse all linked together allowing us to measure metrics and provide valuable statistics.

The possibility of creating objects, fields in the objects, and configuring the flows to measure

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

The inability to handle dates and times in the client's time zone, the report generation is very limited, it does not allow the creation of calculated fields, when you want to make custom reports it is impossible. The inability to create lists dependent on others.

Resolver provides Customer Success Managers and this person is very responsive and helpful.  I really appreciate this feature.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

It is hard to create new administrative report options. My Customer Success Manager has been very helpful with this, as a person needs and IT background to really understand what they are doing.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resolver provides our dispatch module and log of all officer activites and incident reports. The incident report module ensures all elements are included and the report is comprehensive.

Resolver can be tailored to suit the incident reporting needs and requirements of various agencies that report incidents.  The analytics tool us user friendly.  I have used Resolver in both Public and Private Sectors.  I would not consider any other security reporting database.

There nothing that I do not like about Resolver.

One of the many things that resolver is solving for us is statystical analysis.  This allows us in determining trends, high crime areas which allows to allocate resources appropriately.

The anonymous submission component which allows employees and guests to quickly report incidents or suspicious behaviors to vital to our operaions center.

There is a high volume of configurable forms, object types, and fields listed in the environment that are not applicable. Some of these options (e.g. location) are listed several times, complicating the migration of information from work state to work state.

Organization wide security incident reporting as well as physical security dispatch logging.

The customizability is very helpful but can be overwhelming. The training helps tremendously with breaking down the different functions you are able to use.

It can be pricey but once you have the training completed and the site up and running, it can help your organization greatly.

Transitioning from using a manual system of calculating and keeping track of records. This new Resolver system will allow us to house all data under one place.

I love that support is easily accessible. I can have a problem today and have it situatued by the end of the day or even within a few hours.

One thing I do not like is probably sometimes the reporting is not accurate.

It is our incident hotline and it helps us know of all the incidents happening within our organization. This is beneficial because it helps prevent risk.

The best part about Resolver has to be their customer support.  They are extremely helpful and seem to always be available.

As an admin the interface is difficult to deal with when I wasn't the one who on-boarded the program.

Resolver helps to keep a record of the activity in our cases in a way that we can find common threat indicators.

Not many dislikes - Would like to see Additional training material become available (videos or self-taught interactive training courses for end users and administrators)

Resolver is a very customizable system with an abundance of information.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

The implementation process was a massive undertaking, especially with no control libraries pre-populated. The inconsistency in customer support, outside of a FCP, is frustrating at times as the consistency of having one contact who can help with all things Resolver would be preferred.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resolver has an abundance of information to keep departments aware of regulatory changes, details and requirements. The alert feature and monthly newsletters regarding regulatory updates has been a great tool.

We like the Resolver options for data entry, and analytics (reports, etc.). We were very pleased with Resolver's friendly and available staff both during implementation as well as ongoing use. The Resolver team is constantly contacting us for input for continuous improvement. There seems to be a genuine desire to change the way companies assess risks and measure the effectiveness of risk controls using the analysis of historical data.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

Not much. We are particularly satisfied with the Resolver products we have incorporated in our daily security and safety operations. Resolver could improve with better and wider integration with many of the 3rd party applications currently available. At times the format of the Perspective user interface could confuse first time users or those with less knowledge of how to best employ the application. However, the helpful staff of Resolver went the extra mile to work with us on training.

**Recommendations to others considering Resolver:**

Be sure to reach out to current users to review their perspectives. This iseems to be particularly rewarding if you can contact others in your industry sector.

**What problems is Resolver solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We employ the Resolver product for incident data analysis, strategic risk management, and security analysis. Our users have found the reports and other products to be very beneficial. At the "ground" level users are able to easily enter data - statements, photos, or other attachments, while at the operational and strategic level Resolver's powerful analytics provide the capability to really look at what is going on over time within our "space".

The technical support is top notch.  When an issue is sent to Resolver, the support team respond fairly quickly and they will not close out the ticket until the issue is resolved. They are constantly making improvement to make my job easier.

Whe we first started out with Resolver Core, there were different issues with duplicated files, search issues and other bugs.  The Resolver team has been diligent about rectifying these issues.

We are a Public Housing Authority.  We receive complaints and investigate issues concerning lease violations, criminal activity and tenant complaints, to name a few.  Resolver Core allows us to  retreive all relative reports concerning a tenant or tenants quickly for different proceedings and is a force multiplyer for our agency.

I just wish there was a better learning model for less tech savvy persons like myself.

Having developed and deployed several SaaS Applications for my role, I have experience on how difficult the roll out can be. However, for Resolver, it was seamless and backed up by customer support that surpasses my expectations. We use resolver daily to track our security incidents and it allows our entire team to easily manage the workflow.

With a tool as capable as Resolver, it can be difficult to find the right place to customize a screen or field yourself. Even though they give unlimited control, it can be intimidating.

Managing hundreds of incidents and investigations annually across multiple countries and business units was a nightmare before and resulted in a disconnected mess of tools and technologies. Resolver puts everything together into one pane of glass and allow for actionable information.

**What do you like best about Resolver?**

The account management staff is highly professional and willing to work with you.  There is a large support network to assist with problems and issues on the platform and response time is fairly quick.  When an incident is completed, it’s easy to roll up the report.  Also, seems there is good data protection on the system.

**What do you dislike about Resolver?**

Resolver is the “cookie monster” and you have to continue to feed it data to get data back.  If you don't purchase the portal intake program there is a lot of time spent doing manual administrative labor.  Setting up formatting and running reports is non-intuitive, to the point that you have to put in support tickets that could take days to get completed.  The program seems far outdated compared to other platforms on the market.  Also, this is a classic program where additional capabilities are sold to the customer ala carte.  The data output is only as good as what is inputted.  There is no algorithm to capture data that might be missed, which is done manually, unless of course you purchase that capability separately, and even then it may not be captured.   I discovered recently that Resolver doesn't come with a standard intake portal that has to be purchased separately, along with various styles of reports in the dashboard program.  I was looking to run a global heat map for incidents, and of course that’s another ala carte capability.  

Areas where this program requires improvement:

Ease of setting up templates and data flowing through various other template;

linking incidents together automatically and not manually (you often have to remember the other incidents or do manual searches);

OCR without having to purchase additional ala carte functions; 

Reporting: one report I had to get assistance on to run could not total up recoveries and losses on the same form because that capability was not available (how is that possible in 2023?);

Thel ink analysis could be much better and more intuitive, if you don’t know how to run it, can be highly confusing (again this is manual, it’s not doing any special analysis other than what data you put in);

Putting together a special report is complicated, confusing, and cumbersome, again, non-intuitive;

Requires a lot of training to understand the platform;

Highly outdated.

There are much better user friendly options on the market, this would not be my first choice.  This platform has significantly increased administrative work in my program instead of reducing it, and due to the manual nature of data input, I often feel I’m missing data points that could be useful.  I believe there is a large support network for Resolver due to the program being difficult to set up and understand.

Resolver causes more problems than solving them.  I spend lenghy times doing Resolver's work for it.  Too much adminsitrative work.

Customization of reports is the first thing that drew me to Resolver. Our executive members greatly desire the end-user-friendly reports. Customer support is excellent. Anytime I have an issue they are always ready to help and will often hop on a conference call to share screens so I can understand things better.

I enjoy most things; however, learning the nomenclature of settings, reports, and forms can be overwhelming at times as I am only making ad-hoc changes on the fly to permissions or documents.

A unified library helps Audit and Risk departments work on risk assessments together. Our previous GRC solution was very 'siloed' and created additional work using one risk over multiple assessments.

I was well supported through the business requirements gathering and UAT phases of our project which made the implementation of the system easy and pain free.

No big pain points so far. Some modifications we would like to make (e.g. changes in risk calculations) may require back-end updates from the Resolver team as opposed to being able to do them ourselves.

The UI is heavily customisable and intuitive to use when set up correctly. Their support team are very knowledgable and quick to respond when help is needed. This being an online platform access is never an issue and it works well on mobile too.

With the heavy customisation I have in place some of the features don't work as well as I would hope and the initial set up took months longer than originally promised, with mixed results. Further development has been required and is still needed to get it to a satisfactory finished state.

Using the Core platform we now have a platform that houses both or Incident and Risk Management platforms and allows us to build relationships between the two. This adds much needed depth and reasoning to incident investigations and allows us to feed real time Risk detail into our reports. It also allows us to feed real time incident data into our hazard reviews. Having used the system now for a number of years, we have become familiar with the refinements and customisations we can add to the user experience. In addition, Resolver have released numerous feature upgrades and additions. For both of these reasons, the user experience we now have with the platform is now far more polished than it was a few years ago.
