**What do you like best about Perfect Venue?**

I love how Perfect Venue streamlines the process from start to finish—from lead capture to contract signing to billing and event execution. This software is intuitive and walks you through the venue timeline from beginning to end.

**What do you dislike about Perfect Venue?**

There is not much customization. The downpayment/refundable deposit process could be a little more robust, but we make it work for us.

**What problems is Perfect Venue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing Perfect Venue, the entire contract, room reservation, and billing process was not integrated. We were handling contracts with DocuSign, room reservations were cumbersome on a calendar, and billing was in Excel and never consistent. We had to email PDFs and spreadsheet attachments to customers. Perfect Venue integrated all of that into one place.

**What do you like best about Perfect Venue?**

Perfect Venue took all the stress and disorganization out of organizing our book of event business. We have tried every software out there (including all the most popular competitors), and Perfect Venue's interface, easy of use, and client-first-mentality knocks every other platform out of the water. I particularly love how SIMPLE it is, yet they have somehow thought of everything a venue would need to smoothly run an event. There is no noise in their product, just effective features. 

Being able to communicate effecitvely with FOH and BOH is essential to a smooth event, and Perfect Venue just gets it -- the notes copying over into the Staff BEO + the full menu being customizable is just genius. 


Their internal team is so good at helping with integration, and once I gave them my spreadsheet record of all past events, they literally had it uploaded same day. Same with our menus -- they uploaded all of those for me and even took it to the next level by making recommendations to build it to work most seamlessly with PV. 


I literally cannot say enough great things about them. It sounds funny, but I wake up looking forward to login to Perfect Venue everyday. It is so EASY.

I can barely even think of anything I dislike about Perfect Venue. The really listen to customer feedback and are constantly adding new features to accommodate the highest needs.

Perfect Venue has solved our old, very chaotic experience that we were having with the former event management software we had used historically.

Is friendly to use, has a desktop and mobile app makes easy for my team to check all info from their phones.

The mobile app won't allow you to get out of the document without exiting.

Time: It is easy to build a proposal, send it, and have it signed.

**What do you like best about Perfect Venue?**

It has intigrated options for payments and floorplans. It is user firendly and easy to learn.

**What do you dislike about Perfect Venue?**

Having a day view as well as a week and monthly view would be a huge plus for me. Where I work we have over 10 rooms that we can rent out, and a lot of them can be made into larger rooms, so having to click throgh the bookings to see if we have space is time consuming when you have so many enquirys for bookings.

**What problems is Perfect Venue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The old system we were using crashed a lot, and this doesn't. It is great to see the budgetting and ther loss of event tracking is great

**What do you like best about Perfect Venue?**

Seemless on boarding we even sped up the process and had it knocked out very quickly. Customer support is extreamly fast and always available. Simple to use and not intimidating. Filters make it very easy to navigate multiple venues. We have even started using the calendar for all other marketing events in addition to the private events!

**What do you dislike about Perfect Venue?**

Just would like to see a few more added features such as custom labels. Also for view only users to be able to make comments on an event but not actually change the event notes itself.

Immediate responses to the client and far less bookings missed!

Perfect Venue is the all in one package. It is easy to use, easy to navigate and gives a professional appearance to clients. My favorite part is that the client portal updates in real time so there are no extra steps. This platform has really helped me with organizationa and time management.

Nothing! This platform is great and I have not seen any flaws yet.

I used to do 6 steps when getting an event inquiry. Now, with Perfect Venue, I get an inquiry and everything automatically loads itself. It is a huge time management life saver!

Helps keep everything organized and in one place. I used to have a spreadsheet, a calendar, and my email and phone and I do hundreds of events a year. It makes life easier having it all together!

**What do you dislike about Perfect Venue?**

It's fairly user friendly, just not a huge fan or credit card transaction fee.

I don't have any issues as of note, but any questions I have everyone is super responsive and is happy to meet over the phone/zoom and sends me links with videos to help me figure it out.

Perfect Venue has been the best addition to our business starting out.  No more excel sheets and over booking.    Simple drag and drop with no code or month long implementation. You can get started on the day you signup. The customer support and followup has been incredible as well.  The implementation process was straightforward and easy!

We love the easy set up, pricing options, quick customer service response, functionality and reporting capabilities, as well as the new Mobile App!  I've used many other event software in perfect venue tops them all!

The layout of Beo and Event Summeries. Wish they were a little more structured.

Perfect Venue keeps our entire staff and management team organized. The calendar of events is invaluable and being able to submit a professional BEO to customers is key.  The reporting is calculated and our owners love it!

Allows all managers access to upcoming events from their phones. It also helps me to keep everything more organized and add quicker notes when I am talking to customers.

- task management only being available in a high tier. I don't need any of the other features of the high tiers but I would love to have task management.
- Internal and proposal notes being moved to a different screen, easy for info to be missed. I'd prefer them to be moved back to the main page. I do love that they are visible in the preview view now.

When you click to an event, it takes you to the email template, not the event specifics so it takes on more click

Caterease was much too complicated and gave us paralysis of choice.   Perfect venue is spot-on for what we needed to run our spaces.  Our Event Manager was not comfortable with the Caterease interface, but has settled in easily to PV.  Guest leads, emails, proposals and payments are easy to manage.

1. Easiest set up ever! Customer support is second to none! They took our current data and put it in for us in advance, making it so much easier to start using the first day. 
2. No more snail mail! Frees up so much time we used to spend printing & stuffing envelopes. 
3. Online Proposal changes in real time for customers - easy to change something for an event on the fly, no need to be at your desk.

Not much! I'd like to be able to assign my own Event Types, but that is really no big deal

Love preset email responses for quick and easy communication. The Task feature has been very helpful so far and it has helped us be more efficient.  Allie got us set up and she was extremely helpful and responsive to our questions.  We use this all day, every day.  Even from our phones. They set up our menu and we quickly switched over to Perfect Venue.  It was easy and quick.

**What do you dislike about Perfect Venue?**

Still needs a little work on customization that our business needs, but we are just starting.  Hopeful that they will add add more features that we would find useful.

**What problems is Perfect Venue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency, security.  Way less wasted time writing custom emails.  More time to oversee the daily operations of our business.  Seems to be easier for someone to book with a credit card as the security of entering it via this site was easier than processing over the phone. TIME TIME TIME!

Super Easy to Use. The Perfect Venue team made our transition smooth and they were always available to answer questions. I like that I can see our venues seperately or I can view all the venues at once. And that I can customize selections for each venue.

So far there is not anything I don't like about Perfect Venue.

We are now able to manage all locations at once. Before each location was managed seperatly and using thier own system to book events. Perfect Venue allows all of our locations to be on the same page.

**What do you like best about Perfect Venue?**

Of the 3 programs I have experienced over the past 4 years, hands down, Perfect Venue is my favorite!  I am one of the oldest in our office and much slower learning new programs.  Perfect Venue was a smooth transition in many ways! I appreciated how effortlessly they onboarded all of our logos and menus.   I can whip up a Proposal in minutes.  I also appreciate the Zoom calls updating users as they impliment new options.

I do wish I could send a cleaner paid receipt.

**What do you like best about Perfect Venue?**

Everything is in one place- before using Perfect Venue, I had 5 different applications I was using to manage bookings and it was incredibly difficult to keep track of. It takes seconds to respond to inquries now using templates, building proposals is a breeze and sending contracts/getting payments is so easy. It's really been a game changer for me, especially the auto-building of BEO's. I was nervous about learning a new software- I was way too busy to keep going the way I was going, but way too busy to not make the change, and it was honestly pretty easy. The customer service team was very responsive to my million questions as well.

**What do you dislike about Perfect Venue?**

The mobile version could use some improvement in terms of functionality. Would love to see proposal notes, for example, on the proposal page instead of having to go into the full BEO to view.

**What problems is Perfect Venue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using multiple applications to complete one booking. Now, all I use is perfect venue- nothing else. It also auto-connects with my google calendar and populates the notes with the staff BEO. My team loves this feature.

It's simple to learn and easy to use. I migrated from Toast events and PV is such a difference. The automation and customization is awesome.

I wish there was a floorplan app within the software. Merri is an add-on on but it is expensive.

We have a ton of leads and Perfect Venue is a massive help streamlining those leads into customers.

**What do you like best about Perfect Venue?**

I think it does a great job of organizing clients, keeping events clear so there aren't double bookings, and having the ability to customize menu options. It feels like it can really adapt to our business.

**What do you dislike about Perfect Venue?**

My biggest complaint is the lack of ability to have an automatic response to any email (not just first submissions). As a one woman show, it'd be nice to be able to have an "out of office" or general message that goes to all people emailing me. Because of this I haven't been able to disconnect from work for over a year and it's a huge huge pain point.

It's a great way to organize all event submissions and keep track of everything in one place. Having the ability to "sell" directly through perfect venue and accept payment there is hugely helpful as well.

Perfect Venue is easy to use, easy to set up, provides great support. I use it daily. It integrates seamlessly with my workflow. They continue to add features, making it more and more useful for my business. Works great on mobile.

There is no instant booking feature (yet). There are some glitchy technical things that happen, particularly in email composition. This said, they are quick to fix anything that I bring to their attention.

**What do you like best about Perfect Venue?**

Perfect Venue has been the best solution for our diverse products and services within our event rental segment. Being able to field inquiries from web forms and then send qoutes in a matter of minutes has been a game changer for our work flows. Our customers report that their experience is easy, clearly communicated, and responsive. I'd also add that next to the ease of implementation, their customer support is extremely responsive and very capable.

**What do you dislike about Perfect Venue?**

THe only thing id like to see improvement on, is how discounts work. It'd be great to be able to add pre-saved, auto-calculated discounts by percentage.

We had no event planning software until Perfect Venue.  It has streamlined our communication process with leads coming in directly to Perfect Venue from our website.  It allows the entire team to see communications and where the booking is in the process.  Amazing onboarding assistance and a very short learning curve.  Would highly recommend to save time, money and increase event management.

There is nothing that I dislike about Perfect Venue.  It has proven to be an easy to use and detailed program.

The most helpful part of perfect venue is that the emails all stay in one thread and it's easy to access. It's also nice to be able to send a proposal and payment link straight from Perfect Venue.

One downside of Perfect Venue is that it does not have layout capabilities yet. Also - when you read an email from a client you have to actually click reply to have the notification go away.

I use Perfect Venue for both Venue Management and Event Planning. I love that it brings all my work together in one organized place. From tracking and communicating with leads to managing my client profiles, sending proposals, collecting payments, and so much more! I also love that it is so user-friendly from a management perspective and for client use with digitally signing contracts and making payments online. Event planning can be chaotic at times, and having a great system like the Perfect Venue puts me at ease when tackling my daily workload, feeling more organized and efficient, which is priceless!

Honestly, there are no downsides to using Perfect Venue; I only wish I could create multiple proposals for each client. On the upside, customer service is excellent; they always listen to their clients and add upgrades to the system as they receive feedback, so I know this feature will soon be available.

**What do you like best about Perfect Venue?**

The Perfect Venue platform is incredibly user friendly, smooth and integerated. Onboarding was pretty straight-forward and support emails were always answered promptly. There's a lot of ability to adjust settings and menu items to fit your particular organizational needs during set-up, as well as specific template emails. The proposal, BEO and invoice documents are nicely formatted as well. The payment platform seems very easy to use as well, although I am not currently able to use it due to my organizations restrictions (but I wish I could!)  I really like that the email platform is connected to your email software, so you get notifications when someone contacts you through the platform, and the Perfect Venue calendar syncs with Google calendar, which is a must for my needs. Also love, love, love the reporting functions.

**What do you dislike about Perfect Venue?**

One thing I could potentially use is the ability to create a scalable map of meeting rooms to use for room set design, although I recognize that is a complex piece of software to create and integrate. I would also like the opportunity for clients to alter certain menu items themselves (like number of coffee pots, etc.)

**What problems is Perfect Venue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was previously emailing fillable PDFs back and forth with clients, then transferring all that info to a giant spreadsheet. This software is saving me loads of time. It was also virtually impossible for me to run any kind of report using that process, so I had no idea, for example, how much coffee was ordered for a certain time period  or how much we were making on linen rentals. The reporting function is providing me with the ability to do more planning and forecasting.

I think the user interface seamlessly presents functionality. Placement is intuitive, making options easy to find. It's also super simple to add new options such as menu choices or booking locations. In fact, I could set up our venue without any training!

Not sure I dislike anything. Right now, I really think Perfect Venue needs to focus on getting email signatures coded with company logos. Without logos, the email signature lacks visual weight.

Perfect Venue presents us with an easy-to-use platform at a fraction of the cost. We've found that despite the lower cost, we haven't noticed experienced functional compromise. I love love love the user-friendly interface and the transparency of each event step. I can easily see what communications have been done and what exact step each guest is in in the event planning process.

The only thing that comes to mind is the need to link the event calendar to multiple separate outside calendars (google calendar, iCal, etc.). There is a way to do it now but it only connects to one, so if you have multiple restaurants it's hard to tell which events on your Google calendar are for which location.

The best thing about the program is it allows me to see the prior correspondence other members of the event team have had with guests about their events. It keeps everyone on the same page and no one misses any information.

We love that all our event coordinators can see the communications. We can easily send template emails from our phones and get leads converted to sales so easily and quickly. Being able to add our own fields has been very helpful as well. That was something vital to us.

I wish there was a way to track customers better like a CRM software. Sometimes the mobile version is finicky as well, but overall it as drastically improves our operations.

This app has made a massive difference in how I manage our business.  It is fantastic to receive my leads in the system and track where each is at with the click of a button.  One of my favorite parts is the templated emails, where I can send information to clients from my phone with a few simple clicks! It has saved me a great deal of time!  Any questions I have had are responded to very quickly and the people are always so pleasant!

The platform is so simple and easy to use you only need a few minutes to understand your way around and fully understand how everything works. It is very user-friendly with a modern design, and it feels good to use the platform. 
When it comes to invoicing, say no more. It is straightforward to send and update invoices, you can also request a deposit payment, and once the event is over or even before, you can schedule the next charge. I mean, guys, you should try this platform out am very sure it will solve your problems.

I have not experienced any downsides while using the platform. All I can say is that the support team is always there to help out whenever we have an issue or need assistance in one way or another.

Perfect Venue has completely changed our whole events program for the better - we're more able to accept deposits and track them, communicate with customers and BOH team members, and generally streamline our whole events SOP.

I would improve a few things - the good news is that Perfect Venue has a robust feedback platform to show that they are working on crowdsourced user suggestions. For example, I'd love a way to lock in proposal items once customers have decided on their choices!

We had issues with our old CRM - it wouldn't store credit card data securely, so we had no way of charging once the customer signed the proposal. Perfect Venue integrates with Stripe, and has made our payment process 100% better

**What do you dislike about Perfect Venue?**

1. Automatic reminders set for new event bookings.
2. Way to connect an event diagram.

**What problems is Perfect Venue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online payments and live proposals make my communication with customers more efficient. They pay their deposits and balances sooner and easier now! This means more bookings are possible with less manual labor.

**What do you like best about Perfect Venue?**

I love how easy Perfect Venue is to use and how easy it is to customize. Loading menus and templates is a breeze - very intuitive - and communicating with guests is also a pleasure. Sending invoices, updating invoices and proposals, and receiving payment is also a breeze. The icing on the cake: the support team is outstanding. They are quick to respond, to teach, to troubleshoot, and to help.

**What do you dislike about Perfect Venue?**

The one thing that I wish we could do is to have two users receive all emails into our inboxes - but it's something that we easily solve by using the inbox and unread features.

**What problems is Perfect Venue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We book birthday parties across three locations, and Perfect Venue keeps inquiries and bookings organized. We use it to send proposals, organize events, communicate with hosts, and keep track of requests.
