To start with, I really like how easy it is to attach datasources to a process flow, and then map the results to an output. SSIS makes it incredibly easy to pull in data, especially from an extract, process/transform it, and then send it to an output of some sort (in our case, a different database). Well, everything is ok, but for new users it is somehow hard to use it. I love SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) it's the best ETL tool I know. One of the main features I like so much, is it's ability to create the data flows visually. It's nice to see a running package and see all the green boxes lighting up.

Not only, you can create the data flows visually, but also you can create code scripts using C# or VB.NET in the back end, making it super powerful, as you can even use existing code.

For very large packages, something the screen gets a little hard to manage, you are either too zoomed in or too zoomed out, sometimes you even lose where the package went, and have to scroll until you find it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Extreme flexibility. When presented with a problem involving data transforms, I'm pretty confident I will be able to do the job with SQL Server Integration Services.
