"Great database specially for Microsoft developers"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

The best thing I like about SQL Server is the integration with Visual Studio for working on .NET Applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

Many problems with SSIS. It's a nice framework, but there are some big things missing that they haven't bothered changing. Working with xml isn't easy, neither is having reusable components. One of the biggest things that's just ridiculous is that you can't reasonably import a simple csv with SSIS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Meets all my needs"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

simple organization and intuitive design make it easy to pick up and use. key words/identifiers and commands are abundant to the point where i haven't come across a problem that i could not solve through using the available functionality on its own or in creating custom functionality.

system architecture allows you to control access through database principles (users/roles) and allows for auditing of actions and objects.

allows for encryption easy and secure using certificates and keys. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

again, i've yet to come across a solution that i couldn't resolve using ssms and there hasn't even been cases where i even almost wasn't able to solve a problem. honestly can't think of anything i dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"the foundation of our practice"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

Microsoft SQL is a streamlined way to maintain our databases, and we can easily pull reports whenever needed. Employees tell us what they are looking for, and we are able to compile a report from the SQL Management Studio with relative ease. It makes translation easier when it comes to technical speech and generalizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

I would prefer that debugging be easier than the Management Studio makes it, but we rarely have problems with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft SQL"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

Well suited for an environment where data integrity and reporting are significant parts of your daily operations. The ability to data mine for specific scenarios is excellent. Also being able to design reports after finding the data is another excellent tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

An SQL error can shut down your whole plan, and require technical support to repair. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
