**What do you like best about memoryBlue?**

They are experts in the space!

They have been around for a LONG time! and with this comes experience in:

Training their SDRs
Market research
Market conditions
Working with similar clients
Know what works and what doesn't

Overall they are one of the top outsourced SDR firms in the USA, with offices across the country. If I was going to pick a firm to outsource some of our business development to, it would be memoryBlue!

**What do you dislike about memoryBlue?**

One of the only downsides is that you really don't know what the experience level of the SDR will be on your campaign.

But this really isn't an issue, as you would find the same thing no matter what company you end up going with.

**Recommendations to others considering memoryBlue:**

Would highly recommend memoryBlue to anyone that is looking to increase your leads, find the right ICP buyers and overall increase you're revenue!

**What problems is memoryBlue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MemoryBlue is an outsourced SDR training company. They help companies that are looking to bring in more leads with the right personas.

They have helped companies ranging from Cyber security to manufacturing and everything in between.

They are professiional and detailed oriented

We haven't come across any specifics that we dislike but they show wilpower to improve every day

**What problems is memoryBlue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have started our journey with Operatix a few months ago and we are seeing value in the meetings booked from their team members who are local speakers and professional at all times. We have weekly sync meeting to go through the pipeline and feedback. I would recommend them to any company looking to groiw their pipeline.

**What do you like best about memoryBlue?**

- We consistently get 10-12+ meetings scheduled for our AEs every week
- The memoryBlue team is highly organized, we always know what is going on with our account and what we can expect from them
- Everyone we have worked with, from our SDRs and Delivery Managers to technical support and management, have been a pleasure to work with
- They're easy to do business with

**What do you dislike about memoryBlue?**

Perhaps the one thing that I would like to be able to improve one day is being able to integrate our systems better so we're more aligned on who in our CRM is being worked by SDRs, AEs, and marketing and can set up real-time automation around that. 

Currently, we're mainly relying on data exports/imports which we're looking to expand on with the technical team. But, it would be nice to have systems that communicate with each other in a more automated way. 

But, the benefits definitely outweigh this for my business.

**Recommendations to others considering memoryBlue:**

If you're running a more sales-lead GTM strategy and need more meetings/demos to fill your pipeline, I couldn't recommend memoryBlue more. We've looked at (and tested out) other options out there. You can definitely find cheaper options, but as far as I know you won't find better options. The ROI on our memoryBlue investment is positive and well worth the cost for us. The people that we work with are fantastic, they're always willing to try out new things and they operate at a very high level of efficiency and effectiveness. We're very pleased with our memoryBlue partnership and intend to continue forward with them.

**What problems is memoryBlue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've worked with memoryBlue off and on for various projects since 2017. Most recently, we've partnered with our memoryBlue team for a little over a year for sales development prospecting, calling, and appointment setting for our Account Executive team.

As a small tech startup that doesn't rely on VC funding, working with memoryBlue has been vital to the continued growth of our business. We used to have an in-house SDR team, but the resources and expertise required for us to maintain a high-level of output was difficult for us to sustain in-house. By partnering with memoryBlue, we get a dedicated SDR team that is far better equipped, trained, and coached that we were able to do consistently on our own.

I love working with our SDRs. They are clearly very professional and passionate about what they do and they produce at a very high level. Our sales and marketing team have benefitted significantly from having them as an extension of our team, as has our bottom line.

Our start with memroyBlue was a slow one and didn't meet our original expectations.  But, rather than continuing to follow the same path, they listened to our concerns and made adjustments.  They brought in a new project manager and from that point forward they were consistent in providing us with the qualified bookings we were lookign for.

**What do you dislike about memoryBlue?**

They're not inexpensive.  But if you factor in the cost of the systems you would need to incorporate to have an effective internal BDR team it becomes a cost savings over doing it in-house.

**Recommendations to others considering memoryBlue:**

Like you would with any BDR company, it's incumbant on you to provide the expertise they'll need to better represent your organization.  The more you put into it on the front end the more you'll get out of it on the back end.  Fortunately, the team at memoryBlue are skilled in helping draw out the critical points needed to craft the most effective messaging.

Great communication, high volume of calls 500+ a week by one rep, and great documentation.

My biggest frustration has been not having their salesforce and ours communicate.  BUT, this has been fixed this year with their new integration which is going to be incredible.

**Recommendations to others considering memoryBlue:**

Call me and I will tell you how big our pipe has inflated because of their nurturing.  They have been the Midas to our Silverleaf.  The Truffle Aoli to our Parm Fries (extra crispy per uje).  The Dallas Cowboys to the NFL (Most Valuable Franchise and future 2024 Super Bowl Champs).

**What problems is memoryBlue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have historically struggled with capacity for outbound lead generation due to the increasing amount of inbound leads and having to manage and process those.  We felt like we were missing business opportunities by not being more aggressive for outbound cold calling.

The team at Operatix are helping us build a lead generation engine as part of growing the UK business. They are experimenting with cold calling with different propositions and different sectors to see how many new logo meetings they can set up for Client Partners.

Great training program for our SDRs. Our manager is exceptional at ensuring new SDRs are onboarded not just for best practices as SDRs but also in understanding our value prop and the type of clients we prefer to bring to meetings for our sales team. Great insights into what's working for them and what's not.

**What do you dislike about memoryBlue?**

Like with most SDR organizations, longevity is sometimes an issue - be prepared to retrain new SDRs on a regular basis since this is a high-turnover world.

**Recommendations to others considering memoryBlue:**

Have a well-honed and defined value prop and target persona(s). Until we identified the precise personas we wanted to target and the precise pain points we wanted the SDRs to focus on, meeting quality was up and down. SDRs get to ask 2 to 3 questions - at best - so make sure you know what it is they should be asking to gauge whether the lead is worth having a meeting with or not.

During the pandemic, our heavy reliance on trade shows for lead generation was reduced dramatically. As a startup, we knew that building out our own SDR team was a non-starter. memoryBlue has helped us build a predictable and solid pipeline of good-quality leads for a very technical product.

The amount of turnover with the BDRs, it's normal in the BDR world but still makes things challenging.

As long as the ICP, Persona, and positioning are done correctly up front, you should have success.

MemoryBlue has been instrumental in solving a critical problem for our organization – the need for expert BDR (Business Development Representative) support within our holistic ABM (Account-Based Marketing) program. This has significantly benefited us in multiple ways.

Their disciplined approach to conducting BDR work is evident in the quality of the leads they produce. They are also adept at identifying where improvements could be made and adjusting accordingly on a regular basis to be sure we continue to see great results.

At first glance, they can appear expensive. However when you attempt to set up an internal organization to do the same business development work, it will not be any less expensive and likely not close to as effective.

memoryBlue has consistently provided my organization excellent leads with Fortune 1000 companies that have multi-national presence. This is my 3rd company that I have utilized memoryBlue for lead generation over the last decade and all 3 times they have performed. For this 3rd time, I conducted a 3 month bake-off and the results were not even mildly close. memoryBlue was far and away the better team.

Nothing comes to mind.I have had two experiences over the years and both times had superb results.

In B2B Marketing you build your brand through the sum total of contacts between your sales force and your customers/prospects.  memoryBlue is able to set more interactions between those teams, at a higher level, with a pre-meeting understanding of why there is a meeting at all.  This helps to simultaneously build the brand, grow funnel in a predictable fashion and improve the morale of the field Sales team.

Steven and Trevor have been an exceptional extension to the team. MemoryBlue's cold calling strategy has proven to be very successful, along with the training to bring new SDRs up to speed on a businesses product suite.

No complaints thus far - very happy customer 7 weeks in.

There were a lot of meetings that had to be rescheduled so I would say it's important to track the acceptances  to ensure the full compliment of attendees make the meeting.

The communication and collaboration from both Marie and Bryanna. They worked with us to enhance our messaging and get it out to the right contacts

The rate at which we were able to convert some of these meetings into closed deals was a little longer than desired, however this was resolved as we refined messaging and target contact

We had a new set of Account Executives we wanted to train as quickly as possible. MemoryBlue assisted with getting us quality meetings quickly, which provided our new hires with invaluable experience pitching our product and company.

Sometimes, their Salesforce dashboards were difficult to interpret and gain insights from. Perhaps some more training for clients would help.

They go the extra mile to understand our product so they may accurate represent what we are trying to do and the market we are trying to reach.  Duncan Ives in particular has done a fantastic job.

The first team we were assigned just did not get it, but they made the effort to get us the team we needed.

Operatix will do what is required to meet your lead generation requirements.  Very professional reps and they are willing to put in the work to learn your product or services and not just make calls and send emails.

**What do you like best about memoryBlue?**

Zack and Steve are an extension of our UK&I sales team. We work very closely to ensure that they are focussing on the requirements of our business. There is always an education piece at the start but both have quickly learned the technology and competitive market place. This confidence has resulted in lots of meetings being generated with very good qualification before and great communication during and after.

Nothing really. Whatever is asked Zack and Steve will both go out of their way to help.

The team is very professional and listens to our needs.  After a short meeting they were able to quickly grasp our business and develop an appropriate talk track to identify quality leads, pitch our product, handle objections, and ultimately get some meetings.  We work together to constantly refine the pitch and improve along the way and have developed a successful partnership.

The team has been really helpful.  It was less successful with random outreach but focusing on existing accounts for expansion has made a big difference.

We saw less success when pure cold calling but when we switched to ABM campaigns based on success with existing accounts we've seen much better results.  If you help provide information for them and some proof points it will make a big difference in the success rate.

memoryBlue was a complete and utter disappointment and waste of money. I would not recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality leads for their team or a good buying experience for their prospects.

Dishonest team and sales practice. Having started my career at an outsourced business development company, this was a total disapointment becuase I know that not everyone out there operates this way and it's a shame company's out there like this give the practice a bad name.

Hired memoryblue for a pilot program to test outsourced business development meeting scheduling for our team. Immediately upon entering into the agreement with memoryBlue, we were told that things promised during the sales cycle were not available (call recordings for scheduled meetings, analytics and metrics, etc), and every time we would challenge them on what had been told to us, we were told it was because of the package we purchased. 

The team changed over multiple times during our short project, and of the 20 meetings scheduled, 18 were completely unqualified, with the wrong buyer personas, wrong company types, and had absolutely no intent on engaging in a sales cycle. Several prospects told me that they had been tricked into agreeing to the conversation or sent an invite blindly after responding to an email and no conversation or qualification ever took place. 

The team we worked with changed over multiple times during the project, and it was obvious that none of them put any effort into learning our product, messaging, or value prop.

BDR profile are experienced individuals vs junior individuals who are still learning how to be a BDR. Further during the weekly briefings they not only provide the expected updates of meetings booked and held the previous week, but also their pipeline to the pipeline activities they're working on. Very much collaborative on what is working for them and providing visibility on what they're focused on.

Focus on meetings vs qualification to produce meetings. This at times would produce meetings outside of the ICP or no-show. Additionally if they could integrate with SFDC, it would be helpful from an administrative perspective. Hopefully this will be solved with the MemoryBlue news, who has this capability.

The only issue with the process is this - - if you have garbage going in, you will garbage as output.  Don't work with any firm - MB or otherwise - if you dont have solid positioning and a clear value prop.  Results only come when you know what you want to say to customers.

Elizabeth Jack is always looking for the right profiles for the meetings, she always sends me a meeting report ahead of the call, which is great, and allows me to prepare better.

**What do you dislike about memoryBlue?**

The limitation that was added to the number of commercial meetings that Elizabeth can book.

Elizabeth has been helping with lead generation and booking more meetings in the UK.

It's a shame we cannot integrate them more in our network due to security requirements

Allow the operatix team to share a few IQMs with your BDMs (even before contract) to help them pitch their prospecting message.
