## memoryBlue Reviews
  ### 1. Terrible Experience

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie S. | Revenue, North America, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2023

**What do you like best about memoryBlue?**

memoryBlue was a complete and utter disappointment and waste of money. I would not recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality leads for their team or a good buying experience for their prospects.

**What do you dislike about memoryBlue?**

Dishonest team and sales practice. Having started my career at an outsourced business development company, this was a total disapointment becuase I know that not everyone out there operates this way and it's a shame company's out there like this give the practice a bad name.

**What problems is memoryBlue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hired memoryblue for a pilot program to test outsourced business development meeting scheduling for our team. Immediately upon entering into the agreement with memoryBlue, we were told that things promised during the sales cycle were not available (call recordings for scheduled meetings, analytics and metrics, etc), and every time we would challenge them on what had been told to us, we were told it was because of the package we purchased.

The team changed over multiple times during our short project, and of the 20 meetings scheduled, 18 were completely unqualified, with the wrong buyer personas, wrong company types, and had absolutely no intent on engaging in a sales cycle. Several prospects told me that they had been tricked into agreeing to the conversation or sent an invite blindly after responding to an email and no conversation or qualification ever took place.

The team we worked with changed over multiple times during the project, and it was obvious that none of them put any effort into learning our product, messaging, or value prop.

  ### 2. Zero meetings in three months

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2023

**What do you like best about memoryBlue?**

The sales process was solid, but that was the only positive thing.

**What do you dislike about memoryBlue?**

First of all the most important thing with Outsources SDR's is booking meetings and pipeline and we got 0, so that says everything about the experience. But on top of that, they also weren't able to give us any data around activity metrics during the engagement. We only got the data after we already terminated the agreement. I still can't believe they actually did all the activities, because 0 meetings in 3 months is just unacceptable. We have proven both with internal SDR's but also another SDR agency that outbound for this industry works, but they still justified their lack of performance by a difficult industry.

For onboading we also send them a comprehensive package of competitor battlecards, sales decks and a lot of information about the market, but on multiple calls they were asking still really basic questions, that they would've known the answer to if they had read any material we send them.

**Recommendations to others considering memoryBlue:**

It's one thing to not book any meetings, but how they handled the communication and the relationship was even worse. Based on our experience I'd recommend to stay away from Operatix.

**What problems is memoryBlue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a 3 month engagement with Operatix to book us meetings in SMB to MM in the UK. They booked 0 in 3 months. We had two agencies with similar lists & conditions and the other agency booked 30 in that same time. On top of that, they weren't able to give us any activity metrics and they didn't go through any of the material they requested about the market & our company.

  ### 3. Extremely dissatisfied about memoryBlue’s performance

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2023

**What do you like best about memoryBlue?**

I was very disappointed with the poor outcome and the lack of accountability for the unacceptable performance. They were very good at invoicing for their payment and enforcing the contract. :(

**What do you dislike about memoryBlue?**

They did not have any concerns about their lack of performance. We were told our rep was no longer with them due to lack of performance yet they offered no remedies to us.

**Recommendations to others considering memoryBlue:**

There are much better options.

**What problems is memoryBlue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They were hired to drive attendance to our webinar and to schedule meetings. They literally had no attendees or leads, we had no benefit.

  ### 4. Hasn't lived up to expectations

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David P. | Head of Sales

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2022

**What do you like best about memoryBlue?**

It's been easy to communicate with the SDR who they provided us with.

**What do you dislike about memoryBlue?**

1. Over a month in and we're seeing an overall lack of meetings - only 3 so far, and 2 of them came from email templates that we wrote ourselves. 1 of those meetings was never qualified and resulted in a prospect who only wanted to pitch us on their own service.

2. We've seen a lack of adherence to simple and generic best practices. I've spent more time coaching the SDR they provided us than I would have expected to, given what we're paying. Based on the call recordings and mock calls I've heard, I've had no choice but to conduct near-daily mock call sessions with a lot of attention spent on the very basics of phone delivery and general SDR skills. Their SDR is eager to learn but very green.

3. Their call connect rate has been consistently low. They've said they're using Zoominfo, so their lead source shouldn't be an issue.

4. The junior SDR they provided us with has been using a Google Doc worksheet that he's compiled himself. It's been filled with additional notes provided by us (about 90% of it), and we expected to see more structure to their process.

Long story short, we haven't seen anything from memoryBlue that we couldn't have gotten had we hired an in-house SDR ourselves. This should have been a turn-key service but we've had to treat their SDR as if they were hired brand-new by us.

**What problems is memoryBlue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need more top-of-funnel prospects and we've hoped to get more discovery calls booked via memoryBlue. They haven't lived up to expectations in terms of meeting volume.

  ### 5. BUYER BEWARE! Find a better solution.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erik S. | Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2022

**What do you like best about memoryBlue?**

Not much, to be honest. They promise the moon and barely deliver Rushmore. 🤷‍♂️

**What do you dislike about memoryBlue?**

They are waaaaay to rigid in their approach and KPIs. They deliver sub-optimal results and refused to meet us halfway.

**What problems is memoryBlue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They created more problems than they solved, and we saw very few benefits to working with them. Buyer beware.
