"Go-to-Market Expertise Tailored to Technical Buyers"

4.5/5

What do you like best about memoryBlue?

Catarina Hoch, who worked with us as a fractional CMO, brought a level of go-to-market expertise we couldn't have hired for at our stage, and she adapted her approach to a genuinely technical buyer - engineers, digital transformation leads, CIOs and CTOs. The SDR we worked with performed well enough that we converted them to a full-time hire. This is my second time using memoryBlue across two companies, which speaks for itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about memoryBlue?

Any outsourced sales development motion takes real internal investment to pay off. Our vertical has a steep learning curve. That's a fair characteristic of the model rather than a shortfall on their part, but teams in a niche or technical market should plan for a ramp period and assign someone internally to own it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering memoryBlue:

Treat them as an embedded extension of your team, not a vendor you hand a list to. The engagements that work are the ones where you invest in enablement early and stay close to the feedback loop. If you're pre-team and need to prove a motion before committing to headcount, this is a reasonable way to do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is memoryBlue solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed to go to market in a technical, relationship-driven vertical (architecture, engineering, and construction) without an internal marketing or sales function in place yet. memoryBlue filled both gaps at once - a fractional CMO to build our go-to-market foundation, and an SDR to build pipeline - which let us start generating market presence and qualified conversations months before we'd have been able to hire for those roles ourselves. The bigger benefit was de-risking our first sales hire: we got to evaluate the SDR in the actual role before committing to a full-time offer, rather than betting on a resume. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We appreciate your feedback and understand the importance of internal investment when leveraging outsourced sales development services, especially in a niche or technical market. Treating memoryBlue as an embedded extension of your team and investing in early enablement is key to successful engagements. Thank you for sharing your recommendations for others considering memoryBlue.

"Best way to dip your toe into inside sales"

4.5/5

What do you like best about memoryBlue?

I believe we got very lucky with the SDR and Delivery Manager (who manages our SDR on a day-to-day basis) that we were assigned at the onset of our campaign. Both have proven to be hardworking, coachable, and relentlessly enthusiastic, all of which is important in the world of inside sales. Although the individuals deserve most of the credit for this, we also acknowledge that the culture at memoryBlue also played a sizable role in these consistent values displayed by those we've worked with on their team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about memoryBlue?

I wouldn't say there's anything I explicitly dislike about memoryBlue. Even when they were using sales/outreach tools that we thought were suboptimal, they very willingly allowed us to add our memoryBlue people to tools that we liked to use internally. I can't say anything else sticks out as a negative. When we have hiccups with things like our Salesforce integration efforts, they're always timely in addressing them, so those kinds of headaches are also few and far between. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering memoryBlue:

Since memoryBlue campaigns can be set up to last anywhere from 3 months to a year or beyond, I do think it is a very worthwhile way to experiment with an inside sales approach. It behooves you to spend ample time with your memoryBlue team to make sure they know as much as they can about your company and industry, but as long as you have a good team that listens and strives to improve each week, it quickly becomes a rewarding experience. And don't worry about all the time and knowledge you pour into your SDR - there is a quick and easy path to hiring that individual on after a certain amount of time. We know because we did just that and it's continuing to work out great, including the backfilling of the SDR we brought on with a fresh memoryBlue rep that works with the same Delivery Manager we've had for almost a year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is memoryBlue solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our business has a relatively small TAM, and many of the key players attend industry events/conferences, which has historically been our biggest business development driver. However, as we've looked to grow our business the last few years, we've recognized there's a healthy slice of the market that we needed to find another way to get in front of. We had never used cold calling as a top-of-funnel driving tactic in particular. A managing director at our company received a recommendation from a respected former colleague that we should try memoryBlue. We didn't have a tech stack or SDR manager on staff that would help train and enable a new inside sales hire, so memoryBlue's ability to take that all off our plate while also enabling us to try the cold-calling experiment was very valuable. After almost a full year of running the memoryBlue campaign, we have the most robust sales pipeline we've had in my five years with the company, and that benefit can partially be attributed to the services memoryBlue provided to us over the last several months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Lead Generation with Exceptional Support"

5/5

What do you like best about memoryBlue?

I really appreciate how memoryBlue takes the weight off my sales team's shoulders by implementing my feedback quickly and providing great updates. They're great at following our processes and making my job, as well as my team's, easier. Their experience in the public sector is noticeable, and they understand long sales cycles and getting through gatekeepers. They're phenomenally transparent, attentive, and communicative, even meeting with us in person, which is pretty rare. I value their ability to set meetings on my sales team's calendar and the option to hire SDRs or the delivery manager to our team if needed. The flexibility to scale the program up or down and focus on different product lines is amazing. They help us with lead follow-up and prospecting before and after events, taking a huge load off my sales team and allowing them to focus on strategic accounts and expanding our pipeline. Plus, their expertise in cold calling complements my team's existing skills, and I don't have to manage the SDRs myself because memoryBlue has SDR managers. I would definitely recommend memoryBlue to anyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about memoryBlue?

It's not cheap, even though we've gotten a return on investment. I think they offer great services, but it would be better if they focused more on setting in-person meetings, especially since the public sector values face-to-face interaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is memoryBlue solving and how is that benefiting you?

memoryBlue eases my small sales team's workload with meeting scheduling and lead follow-up, allowing focus on strategic accounts. They assist with pre- and post-conference prospecting, and their cold-calling expertise fills a gap in my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Work With, Well-Organized Meetings That Actually Happen"

4.5/5

What do you like best about memoryBlue?

That they are easy to work with - until the meeting is set up, we don't get involved - the meeting then gets scheduled and organized and 9 out of 10 times takes place and people actually turn up.

Fiona Stevens has been great to work with - responsive and easy to communicate with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about memoryBlue?

Sometimes budgets from the customer side are not as high asthey should be - but it would be difficult for Memory Blue to qualify that beforehand - and it's always better to have the conversation anyway. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering memoryBlue:

Make sure you train them on your product, so then they can qualify the calls very well - but in our case it works well and they also know where to route to calls to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is memoryBlue solving and how is that benefiting you?

It sets me up with meetings and MQLs - the personas and companies are good - usually they are well qualified and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Responsive, Transparent Delivery with Flexible Messaging and Fast Fixes"

4.5/5

What do you like best about memoryBlue?

The delivery structure works: a dedicated delivery manager, a weekly sync, and a shared Slack channel, so nothing gets lost in email. They're responsive - when we've flagged gaps, fixes have landed same-day. Full access to call recordings gives us real transparency into what's happening on the phones. And they're flexible on messaging: when we launched a new offer mid-engagement, they adapted the calling script quickly. When their delivery manager rotated off the account, they handled the handoff proactively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about memoryBlue?

Pre-event readiness has occasionally slipped - call notes and interest flags in our shared tracker weren't always populated before our AEs traveled, which meant chasing updates in the final days before an event. SDR turnover on the account also meant re-onboarding new reps a couple of times. Both improved once we built standing processes (notes deadlines in every brief, pre-event check-ins), but it takes active client-side management to get the most out of the engagement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering memoryBlue:

Treat them as an extension of your team, not a set-and-forget service. Give them tight briefs, clean target lists, and a shared tracker with explicit deadlines for notes and meeting flags, and hold a weekly sync. Output quality tracks directly with the quality of your inputs and how actively you manage the relationship. If you run a conference-heavy or event-driven sales motion, they're a strong fit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is memoryBlue solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're a lean GTM team selling into a niche financial services vertical, and memoryBlue acts as our outsourced SDR function. They cold-call conference attendee lists and intent-based prospect lists ahead of every industry event we attend, qualify interest, log notes in our CRM, and book meetings directly for our AEs. The result is that our sales team lands at conferences with pre-booked meetings instead of relying on booth traffic, and we get consistent top-of-funnel coverage without having to hire, train, and manage an in-house SDR team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5/5

What do you like best about memoryBlue?

Professionalism, Proven Process, & Results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about memoryBlue?

It can be a large cost commitment for smaller companies, but the ROI is there because the process is there, and it's been refined, improved and proven over 24 years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering memoryBlue:

I interviewed 15 vendors in this space before selecting memoryBlue so that I could prove my "due diligence". It was brutal. Save yourself some time. Partner with the best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is memoryBlue solving and how is that benefiting you?

I really appreciate memoryBlue for their high-quality human-driven service that ensures I get great leads to sell our services to. They act as my extension by driving quality lead generation at scale, which is critical in our saturated market. "Coachable SDR Team with Strong Communication"

5/5

What do you like best about memoryBlue?

Their structure, consistency, and coachability stand out. The team ramps quickly, sticks to process, and maintains steady outbound activity. Communication has been strong, and Joe and Charlie in particular have been proactive and easy to work with. They respond well to feedback and continuously refine messaging, which helps improve results over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about memoryBlue?

Like most outsourced SDR teams, performance improves as they get deeper into your market and messaging. There’s a ramp period where results are more activity driven than conversion driven. They also perform best when there’s tight alignment on our ideal customer profile, messaging, and expectations. Without that, results can be inconsistent early on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering memoryBlue:

Go in with a clear ICP, defined messaging, and a tight feedback loop. Treat them like an extension of your internal team, not a set it and forget it vendor. If you invest the time upfront and stay engaged, they can drive strong outbound activity and consistent pipeline generation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is memoryBlue solving and how is that benefiting you?

MemoryBlue is helping us scale outbound prospecting and build consistent top of funnel pipeline without adding internal headcount. They take on the heavy lifting of outreach, follow up, and early qualification so our sales team can stay focused on running discovery and closing deals. The benefit is increased activity, more booked meetings, and broader market coverage than we’d be able to handle internally at the same cost and speed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
