What do you like best?

MangoApps is a very handy platform when it comes to collaborating with teammates. I have been using MangoApps for over a year now and it has supplemented my work immensely. It is easy to use, navigate and has a simple user interface. The subtle color scheme makes the overall intranet environment quite amiable. MangoApps has helped me stage, store and structure files that are now accessible throughout the organization. Furthermore, sending updates across the organization has kept me connected to my peers, especially in times of remote work. The directory feature helps me to connect with individuals across my organization. Lastly, for my role, MangoApps has been a boon since it catalyzes version control, file sharing, document management, brainstorming among other benefits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

One particular thing that I do not like about MangoApps is the user interface. I believe it can be polished further to make it more intuitive. To be candid, it looks old-school. Rounded edges and some degree of interactivity will surely bump up it's usability. Since it is intranet that harbors so many employees from a particular organization, it should consist of elements which facilitate employees to stay logged in and use this platform to its full potential. MangoApps acts as a digital workplace and greatly impacts collaboration, document management, internal/team/unified communication. Pertinent to my role, MangoApps comes in handy with project management and file sharing. As a Data Analyst, it helps me present my findings to relevant professionals at my organization with a few simple clicks. I can easily upload relevant documents and interested folks can access it. It is quite an easy procedure that involves drag and drop and viola! Moreover, the chat and messaging features allows me stay connected with stakeholders to make changes on the fly. What do you like best?

The ability to receive notifications on your smart phone for when you may be away from your workstation. It also integrates to your smartwatch so you don't always have to have your phone or laptop near you to still be aware of what's happening at work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

When using a filtered tracker and updating a row of information. When you click save either the row you were working on or a different row will disappear, causing you to have to refresh the tracker and re-sort. This can make staying on task difficult as well as making it difficult to accurately update the information in the trackers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

For sure get the mobile app, especially if you have a smartwatch. The ability to get notifications when you aren't at your workspace is a great way to make sure you don't miss anything and also prioritize what gets your attention first. If you want to maximize the effectiveness for your company, use the tracker and forms feature to accurately share and update information across the organization. It's a streamlined way to communicate different moves throughout the organization as well as being able to communicate with people who may be working from home. The tracker features allow a centralized location for important information to be documented and communicated across the organization. What do you like best?

MangoApps is highly customizable (almost excessively so!), so you can really build the space however you want. It's primary use is for internal facing intranet purposes, and most of the examples our customer support specialist showed us were related to that use case, but I was able to turn it into a collaboration space for a multi-year, cross-organizational project with relative ease. They also do a fantastic job applying branding to the space, and their tech support team is incredibly responsive, effective and friendly. It's also the best value I found across the market of similar competitors offering the same services (file sharing, calendar management, online collaboration and social functions), and their sales department is really fantastic to work with. On the tech side, I really liked the privacy/permission settings, it made it very easy to customize views and protect certain documents. I also think their templates and page builders were accessible and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

If you are hoping to use the space with external partners who don't have an O365 license, as of right now, I don't think Mango is a good option for file collaboration and co-editing documents. On the Admin side, be prepared for an absolute maze of options in the Admin portal, the tradeoff for having so much customization is losing some of that ease of navigation you find w/ Basecamp or similar options. Additionally, I think success with the platform really depends on the Customer Success Manager you are assigned. Our first manager was pretty horrible, but as soon as we were paired with a competent person, I experienced a total 180 in my use of the platform and the resolution of issues I'd previously been told were "unsolvable." I have nothing but great things to say about my experience of using the platform with the right support team, so definitely don't be afraid to request a reassignment if you're not satisfied with the customer service you're receiving! Mango solved our challenges with file sharing and calendar sharing across 3 organizations using different platforms internally--we were able to unify our collaboration on the particular project we partner on via MangoApps. What do you like best?

There is built in chat into the system along with screen sharing so I can walk someone through where to find something if they are having issues locating information on Mango Apps Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I think the Active directory integration could use a little work. Currently you cannot use AD groups for security access to pages on Mango apps. You have to manually give permissions to each user that needs access to a page in the system. That makes for a lot of extra time when adding users to each page. What do you like best?

What do you like best?

Mango apps is a great tool for our company to relay communication. Its a very effective tool for us to be in constant contact with our team, a place to house important information, send out updates, do polls, and many many other things. We use it almost as a company facebook, and its made our teams priorities more aligned and fine tuned. There are truly no things i dislike. Building your company page is a long and challenging task, but mangoapps is in the trenches with you guiding you step by step to create something that becomes a massive asset to your team. What do you like best?

The number of functionalities, the integration between them, the intuitive interface, the user empowerment provided by all these elements working together in a secured environment. What do you like best?

It is ultra user-friendly and needs almost no IT support to implement and none to maintain. Two lawyers with no IT background completed the implementation. Although lots of training is available the system is intuitive. Super easy to use and looks great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The granular access control for each different part of the site is nice as it allows different divisions to maintain their systems without needing to go through IT for everything and simplicity such that non-technical users rarely need help using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?
