"Structured Workflow Simplifies Construction Management"
What do you like best about InEight?

I find InEight to be a powerful and reliable platform for managing construction projects. It provides excellent visibility into costs, schedules, and forecasts, which helps the team make informed decisions and stay on budget. I really appreciate the structured workflow and clear interface that make complex project data easy to manage. The reporting and dashboard are clear and effective, improving collaboration and reducing manual work. InEight's structured workflows and clear interface allow me to track progress quickly, access key project data, and manage tasks efficiently, reducing errors and keeping projects on schedule. It's a highly scalable, industry-leading solution that adds real value to project delivery. The initial setup was fairly smooth, which was a plus, and overall, I would rate it a 9 out of 10 based on its structured workflow and clear interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InEight?

While InEight is very effective overall, I find some advanced features can be unintuitive at first, so clearer guidance or quick tutorials would make it easier to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"InEight Unifies Cost, Schedule, and Forecasting into True Decision Support"
What do you like best about InEight?

What I like best about InEight is that it truly integrates cost, schedule, and forecasting into one coherent system instead of siloed tools. It feels less like reporting software and more like a decision-support platform built for real construction complexity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InEight?

What I dislike about InEight is that it can feel heavy and complex to implement, especially for teams without strong project-controls maturity. The learning curve is steep, and without disciplined data governance, the system’s power can turn into overhead rather than insight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid Tools with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about InEight?

I find InEight's cloud-based nature incredibly advantageous as it offers more functionality compared to traditional methods like emailing timesheets or scanning invoices, providing us with the ability to do much more. I appreciate the visual capabilities of InEight, which significantly enhance my user experience. Moreover, the InEight University program is extremely valuable, as it has been instrumental in helping me understand how to effectively use the program, even handling some initial challenges. By getting the fundamentals down, the program has equipped me with a solid understanding and use of InEight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InEight?

I find the integration capabilities of InEight to other programs one of its downsides. There are issues with InEight communicating with other software, which results in significant errors that aren't always caught in time. Additionally, the initial setup was challenging, especially when adding the control and contract modules to our projects. This led to unforeseen headaches and required extensive reconciliations, significantly increasing the expected accounting time from 5 hours to 40-50 hours a week. It seems like it's missing some key features that could enhance its utility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InEight?

I find the setup and implementation time to be a challenge with InEight. Specifically, the setup of cost codes, the WBS, and control accounts is very complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Forecasting, But a Busy UI and Non-Intuitive Icons"
What do you like best about InEight?

It enables me to move from reactive reporting to proactive forecasting by using historical data and real-time field progress to better predict where a project will ultimately end up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InEight?

It has non-intuitive icons, to the point that the upload and download icons feel reversed compared to other standard web apps. Also, many screens feel overly packed with tabs, columns, and buttons, which makes the interface harder to scan and use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about InEight?

It handles massive project complexity without slowing down. Even with thousands of line items and multiple teams working at the same time, everything stays responsive and is easy to access on-site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about InEight?

It’s so overloaded with features that onboarding new team members takes weeks, and even then, half the time they still can’t figure out where to find the basic stuff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Budgeting Tool, But Slow Updates and Frequent Freezes"
What do you like best about InEight?

speed, its very slow to make updates and will freeze and crash. Any time I have to change fields in a CBS, it slows down and freezes. This could be a workplace issue, but it turns out to be off this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
