## InEight Reviews
  ### 1. Strong End-to-End Modules Scheduling Needs More Flexibility

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Buntha C. | Project manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2026

**What do you like best about InEight?**

I like the fact that there are many modules that work together to create a all round end to end experience for the user. It connects estimate to cost control, field services, contract management ect.

**What do you dislike about InEight?**

At the moment there are a few system limitations that I would like to see in the write map for certain modules. Like schedule, I want to be able to transition over from other software like P6 or MS projects but can’t because there are some functionality that schedule just cannot do.

**What problems is InEight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For Interflow it’s about that single source of truth and consistent approach across the business.
Also getting away from running a business from a spreadsheet is a huge benefit

  ### 2. Solid estimating capabilities but performance remains sluggish

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin P. | Cost Engineer, Construction, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2026

**What do you like best about InEight?**

I really like how InEight automates quantity reporting in real-time, allowing field engineers to record materials installed on mobile devices before leaving the job site. This feature has helped us complete our billing cycles five days earlier each month. The work packaging module is a standout for me, as it accurately packages complex engineering drawings into clear field installation packages. It streamlines the process by automatically combining drawings, bills of materials, and specifications into cohesive packages, eliminating manual errors and ensuring design compliance while accelerating the delivery of accurate documentation to the field.

**What do you dislike about InEight?**

I find the user interface outdated, and I find reports on job costs cumbersome and requiring many clicks to access. I often face issues with log submission from remote sites because they are off the internet.

**What problems is InEight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that InEight automates our field quantity reporting, allowing us to speed up billing by five days. The work packaging module helps me reduce errors and ensures compliance while accelerating the delivery of vital documentation.

**Official Response from Ellen Bartlett:**

> Martin, thank you very much for taking the time to share this with us. It's great to hear that your team is able to complete billing cycles more quickly with InEight! That kind of result is exactly what we strive for- I really appreciate you sharing that with us. I also appreciate your feedback around the user interface. We're always listening for ways to improve the user experience- your input helps guide those conversations. Thanks again for being part of the InEight community.

  ### 3. Great cost forecasting software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura H. | Project Controls Specialist, Hospitality, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2026

**What do you like best about InEight?**

Connect all commercial estimating logic together with live work packaging modules onto centralized project controls platform. The historical cost breakdown structures are automatically re-calculated by the parametric modeling engine when design modifications impact on the amount of materials.

**What do you dislike about InEight?**

The desktop version allocates too much local memory and crashes in cases of excessive 3D clash detection sessions. A lack of structured interface hierarchy makes navigating through the document control folder system complicated and redundant with several clicks.

**What problems is InEight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a significant financial discrepancy with our capital construction team as there was a lack of real time data availability between people on site and our forecasting tools within the corporate system. Our estimation databases and change log records are connected as a whole to a construction intelligence landscape with InEight. Our commercial team has absolute visibility of the risk in cost before the project packages go over the allocated margins with this dynamic connection.

**Official Response from Ellen Bartlett:**

> Hi Laura! We are thrilled that InEight has helped your team with project estimating. We also really appreciate your feedback about the desktop application. Feedback like yours helps us to continue to improve, and we are very thankful that you took the time to share your perspective with us.

Thank you for being a user of InEight!

  ### 4. Efficient Project Management, Needs Speed Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivam p. | Junior Field Technician, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2026

**What do you like best about InEight?**

I like that InEight helps me keep all project information organized in one place. This makes it easy to access documents, track progress, and stay organized. Having everything in one place saves time and makes it easier to find documents, track updates, and stay informed without searching through multiple systems. It's really useful for managing construction project documentation, daily reports, and tracking project progress. Overall, it improves team communication and reduces paperwork.

**What do you dislike about InEight?**

The platform can sometimes feel slow, especially when loading larger projects or documents. It also takes a bit of time to learn certain features. Improving performance, simplifying navigation, and making commonly used features easier to access would help reduce the learning curve for new users.

**What problems is InEight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use InEight to manage construction project documentation and track progress. It organizes all project info, reducing paperwork. Having everything in one place saves time and improves team communication, making it easier to find documents and stay informed.

  ### 5. Heavy construction project management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hud H. | Project Controls Director, Research, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about InEight?**

The document control module works great when there are lots of blueprint revisions. Our estimators keep track of the number of labor hours worked every day with complete accuracy, based on the initial blueprints. The change order tracking automatically and accurately records the financial impacts, eliminating delays.

**What do you dislike about InEight?**

The mobile app does not work or crashes when performing field site inspection offline. There are a lot of failures when exporting big cost breakdown structures to spreadsheet files and the cell formatting is lost.

**What problems is InEight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A centralised digital repository was used to replace messy physical engineering drawings. They log daily activity from the actual construction site by field supervisors. This avoids the over run of expensive material, and helps us maintain our thin profit margins when building capital.

**Official Response from Ellen Bartlett:**

> Hi Hud. Thank you very much for taking the time to share this with us! We're so glad that InEight has helped your team with managing change orders and document control. I also really appreciate your feedback around the mobile app. I've shared this with our team- if you encounter challenges with the mobile app in the future, please don't hesitate to contact our support team (https://ineight.com/help-support/). They'd be happy to assist with troubleshooting!

  ### 8. Integrated, Intuitive Platform with Real-Time Visibility and Strong Forecasting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about InEight?**

I appreciate how InEight brings together project controls, scheduling, and field data into one integrated platform. Its real‑time visibility, strong forecasting tools, and consistent data structure make it easier to drive accuracy, accountability, and informed decision‑making across complex projects. I also value how intuitive the interface is—it reduces administrative burden and helps teams focus more on execution rather than manual data management.

**What do you dislike about InEight?**

While InEight is powerful, some aspects can be challenging. The system can feel complex for new users, and onboarding often requires significant time and training. Certain workflows also feel rigid—customization options can be limited without admin‑level access, which sometimes slows teams down. Additionally, because it’s so feature‑rich, navigating through multiple modules to complete simple tasks can feel inefficient.

**What problems is InEight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

InEight helps streamline project controls by centralizing information that’s often scattered across spreadsheets, emails, and different software tools. By bringing estimating, scheduling, forecasting, and field progress into one connected system, it reduces data silos and improves accuracy. This leads to clearer visibility into performance, more reliable forecasts, and faster decision‑making.
For me, the biggest benefit is consistency—everyone is working from the same source of truth. It reduces rework, minimizes manual data entry, and helps ensure that project updates reflect real field conditions. Overall, it makes it easier to track performance, identify risks earlier, and support more proactive project management.

**Official Response from Ellen Bartlett:**

> Thank you for the thoughtful and detailed feedback. We’re so glad to hear that InEight is delivering value for your projects. We also appreciate your input on onboarding and flexibility- feedback like yours helps us to continue to improve! Thank you again for being a customer of InEight.

It can feel complex and rigid the learning curve is steep, and simple tasks often take more steps than expected. .

**What problems is InEight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

InEight integrates estimating, cost, schedule, and risk into one platform, reducing silos and rework while delivering clearer, real-time cost visibility and control.

The dashboards and reporting tools make it easier to track progress, identify risks early, and improve decision-making. It also helps reduce manual work and keeps teams aligned across different project phases.

**What do you dislike about InEight?**

New users can find the interface complex, and onboarding takes time. Some features are not very intuitive at first, and implementation can be lengthy for large organizations. Additionally, the platform can feel overwhelming due to the number of features available.

**What problems is InEight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It improves accuracy, reduces errors, and allows for proactive decision-making instead of reactive reporting. It has helped improve cost control and overall project efficiency

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about InEight?**

It handles massive project complexity without slowing down. Even with thousands of line items and multiple teams working at the same time, everything stays responsive and is easy to access on-site.

**What do you dislike about InEight?**

It’s so overloaded with features that onboarding new team members takes weeks, and even then, half the time they still can’t figure out where to find the basic stuff.

**What problems is InEight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before InEight, we were juggling cost estimates in Excel, schedules in a separate tool, and documents scattered across email threads and shared drives. Now everything lives in one place, the whole team can see the same data in real time, and we’ve basically eliminated those painful Monday-morning “which version is correct?” meetings.

**Official Response from Ellen Bartlett:**

  ### 16. A Powerful and Comprehensive Tool with a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about InEight?**

What I appreciate most about the platform is its comprehensive nature. It successfully centralizes many of our core project management and control functions into a single ecosystem. This integration has improved data visibility for our teams and reduced the amount of time spent switching between different, disconnected tools. The reporting and analytics capabilities are also quite robust, giving us better insights into project performance and helping to identify potential issues before they become critical.

**What do you dislike about InEight?**

While the platform is very powerful, its breadth of features comes with a steep learning curve. New users on our team often feel overwhelmed and require significant training to become proficient. The user interface, while functional, can feel a bit dated and navigating to specific modules is not always intuitive. We have also experienced occasional performance lag when loading very large datasets or complex reports, which can be a minor source of frustration during busy periods.

**What problems is InEight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The process of developing any new strategy requires careful consideration of numerous interconnected factors. From the initial concept to the final implementation, each step plays a critical role in determining the ultimate success of the endeavor. By focusing on a clear set of objectives and maintaining flexibility, it becomes possible to navigate unexpected obstacles and adapt to changing circumstances, ensuring a more resilient and effective outcome.

  ### 17. Effortless Organization and User-Friendly Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about InEight?**

This tool makes it easy to keep everything organized and clearly labeled, so I can quickly access what I need. I also found it very user-friendly, especially when I first started using it.

**What do you dislike about InEight?**

Personally, I have not encountered any problems while using the program. However, I would suggest providing a range of possible prices, so that users know what to expect and do not waste their time.

**What problems is InEight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we began using InEight, staying organized was a real challenge. Everything felt cluttered, and retrieving information always took much longer than it should have. Now that we have a single program handling all our needs, it has made a significant difference and been incredibly helpful.

  ### 18. A Great Solution for Construction Project Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2024

**What do you like best about InEight?**

The product is great with a lot of helpful features. The UI is also simple and easy to learn. The dashboard gives a comprehensive summary of ongoing projects and makes it easy to track the project progress of all active projects. InEight has been a pert of our process for quite sometime now and the frequency of use is daily. Tye customer support is also helpful and we had quick responses from the CRM team who were able to resolve in time.

**What do you dislike about InEight?**

The learning curve for the UI is steep and It took me sometime to get used to the whole UI and all the different options available. The software seems to be better suited for complex long term programmes that require considerable time and money investment. I dont think it would be beneficial to a small organisation. The time to integrate new projects takes take but it is definitely worth transitioning into the software.

**What problems is InEight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The program is useful in managing the whole projects from start to the finish, a centralized platform for all the needs of any project. There have always been instances when we refer the dashboard during meetings to get a quick glance at the project progress. The financial functions are also very useful to keep a track of the budgetary requirement of the project. There are warnings and labels in tasks that are prone to risk and help you get ahead of things.
The best part is that its accessible via mobile and helps you get the updates on the go.

By using InEight the team will notice an improvement to the execution certainty and in the planning efficincy.

**What do you dislike about InEight?**

I mainly dislike that InEight doesn't offer a centralized file where everyone can contribute to it and build upon other members' work. In addition, the user interface could use some improvements as well.

**What problems is InEight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With InEight, we are able to manage the project time schedule, control the cost and forecast the total project cost. It is also possible to manage the field execution in order to reflect the actual progress and manage the workers' payroll more efficiently.

Its interface is quite user-friendly and simple to use. At first, I was scared to see so many functions together, but as I started interacting with the system, I realized its versatility and how powerful and simple it was at the same time. What I like about this system is that I can practically do everything I need to manage my construction projects from scratch. With it, I can make time and cost estimates, simulate the infrastructure, and generate detailed reports for later use. Additionally, it allows integration with accounting systems, which makes financial management more fluid.

**What do you dislike about InEight?**

The biggest problem with this application is its customer service staff; they take too long to provide an accurate response to what I am requesting, thus delaying my work on more than one occasion.

**What problems is InEight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I started as a contractor, in the early days I focused on keeping a manual record of all my actions throughout the day. Once I discovered this tool, everything changed. I am now able to keep the same records but in a much more optimal and efficient way. Not to mention that now I can create simulations quickly, either to show my clients how the final product will look or to have a clearer vision of the things I need to improve. Additionally, its integration with financial applications simplified my life, as I no longer had to deal with cumbersome calculations related to staff payments. I just enter all the information into the system and it does everything for me. I am very happy to have discovered this tool and I recommend it to the entire contractor community.

  ### 21. Hard Dollar review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about InEight?**

The organization of my bid form in the ability 2 revise any pricing instantly.

**What do you dislike about InEight?**

I wish I had the ability to do all the work from one screen. I do not like having to click to a drill down screen to click back. Everything should be able to potentially be done in the same cost breakdown structure screen.

**What problems is InEight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mather's are a thing of the past. The ability to adjust my pricing quickly has been recognized.

  ### 22. Great product for those who aren't totally immersed in construction management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about InEight?**

This product was easy to use, quick to learn and very user friendly. I had success sharing information with my volunteers and it was understood across the board.

**What do you dislike about InEight?**

Cost is always an issue and this is no different.

**Recommendations to others considering InEight:**

Be patient and let everyone just try and figure out how the product can help them. It is something that will allow you to keep impeccable records and be very organized. I was pleased.

**What problems is InEight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization and the ability to manage a build that is done very quickly with Habitat for Humanity. As far as I know, they are still using the software.
