"Wonderfully Bad"
What do you like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP?

I appreciate the use of color coding available for the scheduling! Having multiple departments, it's easier to see how everything balances. With the staggered printable view, it's easy to see where gaps are in the schedule so filling work shifts is accessible.

2/1/2024 Edit: Since this review, they have removed the color in scheduling and the printing feature is no longer accessible. It doesn't put the full information/show the name of those scheduled, nor does it allow you to print from the service itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?

I recently had an issue with the most recent update and how it looks on a printable PDF but with the help of a customer service representative, I was able to remedy the problem and use the "Shiftplanning Legacy" tab!

2/1/2024 Edit: I wish they brought back the "Shift Planning" Legacy tab. It was their best edit update and now the printing platform has performed terribly ever since. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool for small, middle-sized teams 📊"
What do you like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP?

Hi, I'm working with Humanity on a daily basis as a planning analyst: I manage workforce planning for 12 countries (between 2 and 26 people each) weekly.

These are the most useful features for me:

- group slots for several people at once,

- availability h with conflict mode when you plan something during these h,

- an opportunity to add a title to slots which makes planning clear for the end user (my team members),

- templates that I'm using on a weekly basis while preparing planning for teams,

- possibility to give scheduler permissions (for employees) to positions that this employee should manage.

Also, a crucial part is analytics and reports. These are important features:

- position summary report with an opportunity to filter out empty shifts (in template planning I use them as notes),

- crib sheet report which helps me to store the planning outside humanity for further analysis,

- vacations and availability h reports that help me to get data about who was off and when.

Last but not least, the customer support of Humanity is always helpful, very kind, and to the point. Whenever I experience any issues, they resolve 100% of my issues. The tech side could be improved (pop-up dialogue and not a new window; fewer emails but rating right after the conversation; etc.). Other than that - great job! What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?

I would like to emphasize that there are a lot of improvements that Humanity already introduced during this year. It is great to see the tool is becoming more and more user-friendly.

There is still room for improvement and it would be great if these things would be added:

- when vacation is confirmed, I still could add the slots to the planning of the person (and then I have to delete them manually using name/day filters). That would be great if the system the way that if the vacation IS approved, all slots are unassigned automatically (even if added after vacation confirmation),

- Humanity and Google sync happens only once per 24h. If the synchronization is instant, that would make our experience way better,

- a small thing that makes the planning more user-friendly - the possibility to add an emoji to a title (currently, I could do it, but the emoji disappears once the planning is published).

Regarding the analysis:

- we really need the possibility to make a comparative analysis of the planning at the beginning of the week and the planning at the end of the week (comparison of position summary report). Here you can find an example sheet of our need (we shared it during the analytics session w/the product manager): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1B6QkMdhvFSpUdYuKXo4ZS385PikaV8kNgrn0okzcFHY/edit#gid=207666335 This need is still on-going. "Scheduling Made Easy"
What do you like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP?

I love the versitality of TCP Humaity Scheduling, the many fuctions it offers and the support is top notch. I love that I can color code different departments to make it more appealing and easier to find a department scheduling needs. Humanity also puts open available shifts at the top so you can see where your holes are in scheduling. The fact that it calculates the time and adjust to daylight savings time with the hours makes payroll so much easier. The reports you can run help a lot, especailly the reports for attendance and late summary.

The support is top notch, if I have a question on how to do something they answer and help in a timely manner and also put in suggestions if they don't have that capability yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?

The downside for me and my company is the fact that the app is different depending on the phone you have. The app on the apple phone will let you leave a note while the app on the samsung/google phone will not let you leave a note and the accuracy of the map/clock in locations is different with each platform of the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick, convinient and user Friendly"
What do you like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP?

I like the app as it makes life a whole lot easier, especially when you quickly need to double-check your shift. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?

the notification option on the app can be a little irritating because there are times when it will automatically reset that specific option and I sometimes forget to turn on the notification setting again on the app Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It has made our scheduling process much more efficient"
What do you like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP?

The auto-scheduling was our biggest draw to Humanity. We tried a few different solutions that either limited the number of shifts that could be automated at once, or were not robust enough to process our complex schedules. Humanity's automation handled all of our shifts (nearly 3000 per week) much better than the others. It was also easy to learn how to operate the software as most of the user interface is very intuitive. Particularly the filtering processes and different views you can use to examine the schedule in different ways. This also allowed for easy adoption for many of our employees and volunteers that needed to view the schedule in the app. Also, they have a chat system that can give you very quick customer service for questions that are not overly complex. This allows relatively simple problems to be solved very quickly. The system has a lot of features that can be manipulated in ways not explicitly intended that helped us implement it for our needs. That flexibility and customization was key for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?

While the customer service is very quick and responsive for simple questions, it can be a bit lacking when the questions get more complex. Our "contact person" in the company, who we are meant to reach out to for problems that could not be solved by the live chat function, has changed at least once and we were not notified for quite some time. Additionally, we were told to put in feature requests on a community website, but were not able to do so. When we asked about this we were told to email a list of them to our new contact person instead. It seems that they need to improve communication in their organization to avoid this sort of confusion in the future. The system also has the tendency to glitch at random times. They are usually not devastating glitches, as there is almost always a workaround but they are definitely frustrating and result in some lost time. For instance, the total weekly hours for employees will randomly disappear in shiftplanning. This can usually be fixed by reloading the page, but it disrupts your workflow. A more damaging example is when disabling employees interfered with the schedule template function. I tried to paste a previous schedule that had disabled employees in it and the shifts they were assigned to did not paste, so I had to manually remove them from those shifts to get the schedule to properly paste. Granted, bugs are a normal part of software development, and they are generally good about providing regular maintenance updates. However, it would not be an honest review without mentioning these issues as they are unfortunate parts of an otherwise good experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing service and quality products"
What do you like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP?

Having the ability to have all of the tools on any web enabled device is key for an organization like ours. With so many moving parts, its great to have it all there.

The applications are simple, easy to use and very well laid out. You don't have to go digging through menus and various different areas to find what you need.

The customer support is out of this world- they always answer quickly and I've never waited more than a couple of hours for a resolution. They have such helpful technicians to walk you through more difficult setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?

I've submitted a couple of enhancement requests that I would like to see, but its not a dislike more like room for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Streamlined, Intuitive"
What do you like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP?

I find the flexibility of both desktop and app to be very helpful when updating schedules while I am away from my desk. The app UI is generally easy to use, although the desktop/website version is where the program really shines with a variety of filters and view options. After a learning curve, the program is more robust and helpful than I first expected. I had a question and the customer support was prompt and friendly. I use this program daily while scheduling for a catering service and the flexibility to move and reassign multiple aspects of each shift is easy to master. I appreciate the integration between the app and the program Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?

I don't like that it is easy to pick up a shift by accident in the app, while trying to manage it instead. I also wish the employee's total scheduled hours would show up when checking the weekly availability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
