  ### 1. Efficient ACH Handling with Minor Hurdles

**What do you like best about Fortis?**

I like the ability to know that ACHs are handled with discretion, and also having a roundabout date of when those funds will transfer to our account. It's great having an option for our customers that isn't linked to our credit card expense. The setup was pretty seamless and simple. Fortis is very beneficial for our team.

**What do you dislike about Fortis?**

Any transaction that operates above $20,000 seems to have a hold on, and sometimes we have to jump through multiple hoops to ensure those things are taken care of, which delays the payments to our accounts. That would be my biggest struggle.

**What problems is Fortis solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fortis handles ACH transactions and automated clearinghouse review processes or transactional disputes. It offers an alternative for customers other than credit card expenses.

Easy to use and implement, great pricing, fantastic support team!

**What do you dislike about Fortis?**

I would love to see an expansion of offerings around marketing automation to displace Square.

**What problems is Fortis solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fortis for my business payment processing, and have it integrated into my business' software as a service offering for use by other businesses as an embedded/integrated payment system. Their API was easy to integrate into my application and offers all the necessary features my customers expect for an embedded payment solution.

**What do you like best about Fortis?**

The tight ERP integration is the big win. Fortis is built to sit neatly inside systems like NetSuite and Business Central, so payments, invoices, customer records, and reconciliation all stay connected. That reduces manual bookkeeping and cuts down on mismatched data. When everything lines up inside one system, finance teams tend to breathe easier.

**What do you dislike about Fortis?**

1. Steep cost

Fortis closes that gap by pulling payments directly into the ERP or business platform you already use. That gives you one connected system instead of a processor over here and your financial data over there.

We are a chiropractic office and switched to Fortis when we changed the electronic health record we were using.  It was an easy transition thanks to Margaret Rosloniec!

We have found no downsides to switching to this system.

**What do you like best about Fortis?**

Fortis is so convenient. You can schedule automatic payments via credit card or check. It'a also easy to refund and skip a payment if needed.

**What do you dislike about Fortis?**

Nothing! Everything is great and there isn't anything that I'd like to see change.

**What problems is Fortis solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We no longer have to manually check out patients. Their payments are all set to procecss automatically. If a monthly payment is declined, Fortis emails the patient to collect.

**What do you like best about Fortis?**

Fortis is the most complete payment and inventory system I have seen. The payment setup options are unique and allow us to be as specific as we want with patient care options, which is very convenient. Even better, the reporting options allow our team to track payments and ensure that every cent is accounted for, which in a busy practice has been a lifesaver!

**What do you dislike about Fortis?**

The one improvement Fortis could make is a better training system. With all of the tagging options and new inventory systems, it isn't apparent how to use those systems.

**What problems is Fortis solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to store credit card information and charge patients for care. Fortis makes it easy to update expiring credit cards or connect with unique types of accounts, such as an HSA or an investment account that a patient wants to use to pay for their care. The split payment feature is also a must-have for families. And that divided payment feature integrates perfectly with our EHR system!

**What do you like best about Fortis?**

The Zeamster technology allowed for us as an ISO to leverage the Zeamster development team to assist in creating an integration specific to my company.  This integration and others have put us in a situation of increased sales and newly found opportunity to get more merchant processing accounts through the technology channel. 

In addition, the company is very agile and available for us to speak to whenever we have a potential POS/ISV that is interested in working with us.  They will also move items up on their list from a enhancement perspective provided we have a good business case.

**What do you dislike about Fortis?**

I would love if the product had the ability to tie into salesforce.  I also hope they speed up the process of adding the "text message" feature for appointment setting.  

**Recommendations to others considering Fortis:**

The human element and relationship is what helps the process.  Other products involve sending a developer to an API page but not knowing how it can help the business is tough.

Zeamster does a good job of assisting in the process.

**What problems is Fortis solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrating the technology to the merchant services has helped change the business for us and make us relevant for the future of payments.
