Formstack has made it possible to automate some of our most tedious and manual HR processes. They make it easy to bring in different stakeholders on a case-by-case and step-by-step basis using Workflows.

The levels of access you can have are SO detailed that it will probably be hard to manage as we scale. If people can create their own folders and themes, it can get kind of messy and off-brand, so you have to be incredibly cautious setting up the system's users. If you wanted an adjective to use to describe Formstack, I would call it "rock solid." I cannot think of a single circumstance that has caused us problems and we've been running multiple business systems on it for more than 5 years now. We build no-code products and formstack helps us power many of them. It's not the most flexible cloud-based form provider. It's also not the cheapest. (We have others we use for those qualifiers.) But it is the most solid one we use. (Which probably explains why it isn't the cheapest nor the most flexible -- because they focus on keeping the product stable and making sure it works.) Complex forms are easy to build and update with additional options and logic. We can customize forms to our brands and save the customization as a template to quickly implement across our internal and line of business processes. It is simple to update and add new form fields to live forms, while still retaining hidden deprecated fields and their previously collected data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Multiple levels of logic are not easy to implement within a single form. We implement layered logic using form sections and chaining numerous forms. Some elements can't be customized, like the color of radio buttons which are always black, even on a black background. Also, with "dark mode forms" using black backgrounds and white text, we can't see the text in the form admin fields since that has a white background. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Integration with Salesforce. I don't need to log into another website to build my form. Also it's user friendly and intuitive for a non tech savvy user to learn Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Limited customization. Other form builders have more controls on how the form displays. Validation rules are limited which means it can be tricky to get the results you want without custom code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
