I agree with the list overall but Archie deserves a mention too. Eptura Visitor, VisitorOS, and Envoy Visitors are probably the most common choices for enterprises, although they can get pricey once you factor in the hardware their apps run on (for example, VisitorOS requires managed hardware), the cost of the broader workplace platforms they belong to, and the native integrations teams need. Envoy, for instance, runs on iPads only, and the access control integrations you mentioned are not included in the Premium plan but require custom pricing.

Archie is a strong alternative to all three. It usually costs a fraction of the price, can be deployed in days, and runs on both iOS and Android devices, so there is no need for proprietary or specific hardware. Looking at G2 reviews, users seem to agree :)

For enterprises specifically I see two scenarios: the first is that you need a standalone visitor management system, in which case a system like Archie would be a great choice (highest-rated visitor system on G2 right now) thanks to simplicity of use and robust architecture.

The second scenario is that you need a broader security setup (video surveillance, access control, alarms, visitor registration) and in that case instead of relying on integrations, it can be best to go for something like Kastle or Verkada and rely on one vendor for all of that (even if it sacrifices user experience in some aspects).

From my own experience testing Envoy Visitors, I liked how easily it integrated with access control systems, but I’m curious, did larger enterprises find the API support robust enough for deeper custom workflows?
