I love that we can add as much logic as needed to each form. My company has some really long, complex forms, and it's great that I can hide sections and fields as needed to prevent team members from having to put "N/A" as a response hundreds of times. The email automation is a big plus - it is easy to update settings to include the submitters manager/director on the submissions. This prevents the admin support team from having to manually forward responses to the appropriate manager. Form permissions are also great. It is nice that we have the flexibility to choose which folders our admins have access to. This allows admins throughout the company to edit their forms as needed which still protecting sensitive information provided on responses to HR, security, and accounting forms. **What do you dislike about Formstack Forms?** When building forms in Formstack, I wish that the build panel was bigger. Sometimes it can be hard to see what items exist when the build panel is so small. When building a form, I think it would be more valuable to see more of the build panel (like logic, field name, drop-down options, etc.) than more of the form preview which currently takes up most of the screen. I wish that there were more safeguards in place for errors that may occur when a field is deleted from a form. For example, we have an HR form that sends submission info via email if a certain item from a drop-down box is selected. The item was renamed last year, and the item name was not automatically updated in email settings. This resulted in several submissions being missed as no notification was sent. **What problems is Formstack Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Automation: We are able to get the information from the team members to the correct department quickly and easily. It is nearly impossible for the teams to know who to email for expense reports, incident reports, perks and benefits, etc. and Formstack takes away the need to know these people's names and email addresses. Analytics: We are able to export responses easily which helps us identify trends in responses. This is super helpful when planning upcoming projects! ### 8. If we have ten forms and we need to perform the same change on all of them, the process becomes tiring and tedious. For starters, not all user types are covered in the presets, and some classifications are confusing. For example, we have "standard users" and "participant users," but the org role field lumps them together as "standard," which makes it hard to distinguish between the two. Adding fields, logic, sections, headers, etc. I can look at the sidebar and find the answer to all of my questions in one spot. They've done a great job identifying what buttons will be used the most, and putting them all in an easy-to-find spot, and making adding them as easy as a click. We use Formstack any time we need to gather feedback or information, which is relatively often. The automation is fantastic and I love that we don't need to integrate Formstack with other systems, because automatically receiving emails checks that box for us. **What do you dislike about Formstack Forms?** Because 90% of the features I need to use are on the left-sided menu, it can be a bit confusing to find more advanced features. Page breaks, section breaks, etc. are a bit trickier to find and they always seem to take me a few minutes to re-orientate myself to Formstack when I need to add those pieces in. That could just be my personal use /habits of the software. **What problems is Formstack Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Feedback gathering has been completely satisfied by Formstack. The logic feature is probably what makes Formstack so useful for us, to help reduce the amount of information that people are confronted with. The complicated items are when creating workflows, document merging, routing, and then signing. Also careful with pricing and merges. Wish they would be clear where a change needs to made. It can be integrated with a large selection of other services, including payment processors for paid merchandise, events, etc. Its logic system is also fairly robust, and there have been several quality of life features added over time, such as Smartlists, template editing, etc. **What do you dislike about Formstack Forms?** I wish there were more options for dynamic form fields. For example, I would like to show or hide questions based on date, number of responses to a certain question, etc. You can account for these things if you plan ahead, and Formstack does provide a few workarounds for different things, but none of these solutions are very elegant. Formstack also can have a steep learning curve - building standard forms is simple enough, but there's a whole wealth of additional integrations that can be leveraged to great effect, and these take time and trial and error to learn. There are also occasionally odd bugs related to form logic, specifically when forms are used on iOS devices. **What problems is Formstack Forms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Formstack is our primary solution for forms and lead generation.
