The automation aspect of Blameless is great, and the retorspectives after the incident is resolved gives a sense of completeness to the incident lifecycle.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

I don't really have anything negative to say about Blameless. My team enjoys using it!

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blameless is mainly solving the manual toil of spinning up an incident; creating a ticket, a Google Meet, etc. It's nice to have a one-stop shop for incident creation, as well as have a central repository for past incidents

  ### 2. Great tool to manage and track customer and system issues

Easy tracking of any incident with great visibility of its current state throughout its lifecycle. Seamless integration with slack which makes it easier to coordinate with various stakeholders for the incident at a dedicated channel.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

Did not find any major downsides of blameless. Some minor concerns are sometimes its too many incidents which created too much noise to properly focus on important (P0) incidents.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking the various customer issues, system issues as well as internal incidents and have a proper channel for the disucssion of its resolution. The stakeholder are able to view the status of the resolution and need not rely on the responders communication. Easier to broadcast to wider audience about the lifecycle of an incident.

**Reviewed by:** Mridul A. | Senior Product Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2022

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

I like almost every feature of Blameless, be it the retrospective, incident reports, timeline of the changes etc. The best thing I find to be is the checklist of to-do tasks; this helps us ensure that we have done everything required according to our internal protocol to handle a bug.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

It is a bit hard to think about things that I don't like about Blameless, but after much thinking, I did come up with one issue, sometimes it is a hassle to search for a past incident report as we might not remember the incident number or the label, if we could search incidents by the name of the people tagged as owners then it would have been great.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blameless helps our teams to report and track accidental incidents of bugs in production codes. This allows us to ensure that a similar issue does not happen again.

It has good facilities to share the progress of an incident and the way we address the issue. Separating the work into multiple steps helps to segregate different actions we take to resolve the issue.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

Sometimes it's challenging to find the best approach for resolving the issue. Not sure if it's because of the setup, but the workflow is a bit confusing.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handling the incidents which are beyond being considered "bugs", and having the capability to assign different roles in case of any incidents.

  ### 16. My Experience in using Blameless

  ### 19. Still trying it out. Larger implementation next quarter, but so far sounds promising.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2022

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

We're in need of an incident status page (not sure if this will be internal/external, but our current communication is mostly via slack)
Initially, we thought about uptime as using API calls to test specific flows in our system. Firehydrant makes sense b/c we can categorize incidents via specific services. This will give us a clearer picture of the uptime across our system.
Haven't tried the incident response, but it looks promising. Incidence management is currently all manual via slack (create channel, add members, start retro etc). This will help will ownership.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

I'm not sure how to answer this since we haven't had much chance to test this in a production environment yet. I think there is a significant setup required to move over to the system and some concerns about adopting the technology across my team.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime is the thing that we were originally looking for, but also streamlining our incidence management and response sounds good. One thing I've noticed is that our retros usually end up w/o many actions being taken.

  ### 20. Useful tool to manage incidents, could be a bit more user friendly

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2022

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

I love that I can manage all aspects of a service incident with one tool.
I can gather facts and manage (external) communication, stakeholders and retrospectives all in one place.
The action lists and automation help me make intelligent decisions under pressure.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

The interface and the Slack integration are not the best from a UX perspective. I often find myself lost in where to click or where to find. This is due to weird choices (like having a tiny edit button on the right side of a form you need to click) and inconsistency. Sadly, I've only seen a few error notifications when trying to save something, resulting in my changes being lost. The tool doesn't feel as polished as I'd like it to be, especially since the core selling point of this tool is to make your incident response more seamless and less stressful.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blameless allows us to manage service incidents without all aspects and tools that come into play, without forgetting anything, all from one place. This makes information easy to find and essential steps harder to miss.

  ### 21. Excellent tool to become more innovative

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2023

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

The way you can manage incidents and work for a solution is the best thing about this tool. It helps me to be productive and innovate more.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

It is difficult to manage incidents and the feedback system needs improvement.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it with slack and helps us to keep all the concerned parties on the same page when it comes to incidents. This helps us solve incidents faster.

  ### 22. Excellent Incident Management Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2023

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

- Easy Team division of incidents via types.
- Easy Taging and rule engine on top of that.
- RCA as a built-in tool.
- Slack integration is the best.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

- Teams & Types is a bit confusing, should be teams IMO.
- UI is not that great.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blameless helps in Incident Management for us and serves as a primary tool.

  ### 23. Good for dealing with incidents

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

Better help in filtering out and dealing with incidents through the following:
1. Show incident severity against group name in slack
2. Personalised summary of all pending incidents vs severity shown when needed

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seamless integration with slack
automatic summarisation of incident

  ### 24. A flawless, bug free, incident management system

  ### 25. Firehydrant has a lot of automated features and easily integrate third party apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Durvish S. | IT Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2023

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

User friendly user interface
It easy to navigate
Can use command to create incident or GUI

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

We should enable copy and paste photo from sniping tool or other tool

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to create ticket instead of our main ticket tool which take a lot of time
using a simple command tickets are created

  ### 26. Blameless is very useful tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2023

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

We get all the alerts on the slack. It automatically creates a channel for an incident.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

I don't feel that there is any downside. It doe's pretty much everything it says.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It automatically creates the incident channel and everyone to that.

  ### 27. Good management tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Filip M. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2022

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

Integration with Slack and ease of navigation made it a good tool for everyday use. Also ease of team management and good pricing structure made us consider it for everyday use.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

Sometimes notifications or integrations get too noisy, there is tons of information and notifications and it's hard to get the right amount of infromation/output from it

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking all incidents and issues in one place, facilitating communications in the company and helping developers to become more productive - both on a single and team level.

  ### 28. Great tool for incident management, from creation to retrospective processes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2022

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

Slack integration is handy and helps carry out fast actions in incident management. Without leaving our everyday tool, we can record all conversations related to the incident and even follow up tasks can be created for this.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

The only downside is the learning time. For the first incidents, remembering all commands is hard, you will end up recurring to the help command with each action that has to be taken. But the help command is excellent, so this is not a real problem.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FireHydrant is helping our company improve our incident management, which improves the response time, communication between different departments and, at the same time, the actions to be taken for these incidents never to happen again.

  ### 29. Blameless - Awesome tool

  ### 30. Good incident management tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2022

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

I use Firehydrant as a user, not as an administrator. In our product, we allow our users to raise incidents when they find something that is not working as expected. We have it integrated with Pagerduty so depending on incident metadata, an engineer can be paged. It allows us to cover the whole lifecycle of the incident, including post mortem actions, etc. It has excellent integrations with some tools we use.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

As said before, we have an integration FireHydrant - Pagerduty. In our case, we have found no option to customize the Pagerduty service / escalation policy depending on FireHydrant incident data. This means that for instance, we have been unable to have a different workflow for an incident raised for a Stage environment or a Production issue. This means that sometimes our engineers get paged for Stage environment.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As explained before, it covers a need that is not covered by our observability tools or Pagerduty, allowing our users to create manual incidents, having the option to track the incident from beginning to end.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Well-defined roles and responsibilities, and reminders, are the most valuable part.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

Wish I could create an incident from a sub-discussion in Slack

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps with incident management, running retros, and capturing action items and learnings.

  ### 32. Blameless is good at what it does

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

Automating all the tasks of dealing with Critical time-sensitive incidents. FireHydrant makes my job easier with runbooks which automates all the tasks I need to successfully create and handle critical incidents. It reduced the time I spent before by half! I can also do everything via slack!

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

I dislike that they don't have a mobile app on iOS. Having a FireHydrant app to monitor what's going on via mobile app can be useful when members fo the team are away.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are saving us time and the amount of time we use to handle critical incidents is important to our organization. The runbooks we create automate everything from finding out what team to page, tickets to create and document, zoom and slack channels to create.

**Reviewed by:** Abhinav P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2023

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

Inquisitive and easy to use. Slack makes it very easy.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

Nothing as such. Things were working fine most of the time.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Incident creation and managing the incidents.

  ### 36. FireHydrant is a fundamental piece of my incident management at Twilio

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcos B. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2022

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

everything related to the incident is in the same page, so it's easy to find all the related stuff from the incident for traceability

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

the UI on the incident management page sometimes not working as expected. Some fields are a little buggy

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it helps us to coordinate the incident response and get all people related to the incident in touch and updated

  ### 37. A reliable right hand for those critical moments

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonny P. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2022

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

How firehydrant does all the things you need it to do, whilst getting out of your way at the same time, allowing you to focus on the matter at hand.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

Personally I like opinionated tools, and so I would enjoy a bit more guidance from the tool.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing me to communicate well with my team whilst I'm actively fire fighting, rather than having to context switch.

  ### 38. Good Slack integration - some quirks with the user interface

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2022

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

Slack integration is a winner. The ability to update the incident using the bot integration and to star comments to add them to the retrospective is a total winner. I've never seen anything like that.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

The User Interface has some failures. Concurrent editing is not supported, but not blocked either, so it's a dangerous situation. Markdown is avaiable but does not have buttons for it and it's not possible to upload images.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Incident response and capturing information during the management of an incident in a way that minimizes friction and context switching by staying in the same Slack channel.

  ### 39. Easily Track Software Incidents

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

The slack integration is perfect for smooth incident management, alerting the necessary staff when an incident occurs and creating a channel to contain important information.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

I can't think of a single fault or improvement I would make to the service, it serves its purpose very well.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FireHydrant allows for super fast paging, which provides the means to resolve incidents promptly and keep track of information pertaining to the incident.

  ### 41. Blameless for Citrix incident response

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

Seamless integration with our existing tools - JIRA, Slack, pager duty, etc, create a Slack channel and invite stakeholders to the channel - all automated.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

I had no issues with Blameless. It integrates well with other tools and is an excellent tool for bringing stakeholders together for incident response.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blameless brings stakeholders and tooling together to coordinate incident response and helps with RCA.

  ### 42. Great incident management tool to use alongside Slack

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonali A. | Software Engineer 2, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2022

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

Integration with Slack is great and makes it easy to work on the incident and create post-incident reviews, as it saves the vital information discussed with a star emoji reaction.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

Haven't found any yet. I am new to FireHydrant and have only come to know about it through incident management trainings and observing it in chats created during incident management by peers.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FireHydrant makes incident management easier. During on-call, time is of the essence so we need a tool that can assist us and reduce time to mitigate, time to resolution as well as time to create post incident reviews.

  ### 43. Useful and time saving

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2023

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

Blameless provides an easy solution to issue management holistically. This is especially true for Product Solution engineers.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

The UX can be improved as sometimes it is difficult to find specific options.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a one-stop solution for complete issue management. The creation as well as the tracking is especially easy.

  ### 44. FireHydrant was rolled out as a central initiative

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2022

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

The integration with Slack so that notifications can be shared

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

FireHydrant has many different actions and (Slack) commands supported, but it is difficult to understand which ones are relevant to me as a triage engineer, especially since I am typically on call once every three months. One improvement would be to default to a "role based" view that only lists the commands for the user's current role(s) and then perhaps it could be possible to extend that view to include all other commands as well.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a triage engineer, my main responsibility during an incident is to bring our services back to normal mode of operations. FireHydrant was chosen as a tool to orchestrate communication during and after the incident.

  ### 45. Blameless minimizes the stress and overhead when navigating urgent incident resolution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

Blameless integrates seamlessly with Slack making it a breeze to open an incident, rope in the appropriate parties automatically, and organize path to resolution in the channels that are most conducive to collaboration across tech and business functions. Blameless then automatically generates the shell of the postmortem and follow-up actions for ease of retrospective conversations and alignment on action items to bolster controls following an incident.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

Blameless offers in-UI reporting, but it is a little clunky and pales in comparison to data visualization-oriented tools. It adds value, but feels unintuitive for new users to create reports.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem Solved: quickly coordinate response to urgent incidents and clarify path to immediate resolution and incremental follow-up actions
Benefit: Having this tool makes the process clean, easy to track, and reasonably easy to report out on

  ### 46. Excellent incident orchestration product, developing quicky

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew W. | Senior Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2022

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

Powerful integrations with the most popular alerting platforms. Very easy to create complex response runbooks to address multiple different needs. Excellent response and engagement from customer support and development teams.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

The development pace is almost at breakneck speed! We occasionally run into issues where pre-existing functionality breaks or does not work as expected as a result of newly introduced features.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Firehydrant addresses our need to orchestrate and standardise our incident response. By doing this, we decrease our time to respond to an incident and have seen higher service levels as a result.

  ### 47. Gives a great overview both during and after an incident

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2022

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

It helps to keep all relevant communication available in a single place. Enabling us to have a well-structured approach to handling incidents is excellent. Performing all actions via Slack is very convenient.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

No issues so far. Maybe it being so feature-rich can be a bit overwhelming for new users.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplifying incident management by catering to all parties of an incident. All involved roles can get their tasks done, and everyone else can get an excellent overview of what is happening.

  ### 48. Moderate Approval

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fin G. | Software Development Engineer in Test, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2022

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

The speed of it in alerting and how sync it is in keeping everyone updated

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

I don't really have any opinions about it's downsides, it's as great software

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving the quick responses require for resolving issues caused in our prod software environment

  ### 49. Good

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2023

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

Easy, maintainable and all relevant details related to an incident in one place.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

Focus on integration on Collaborative tools (such as Slack).

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blameless is being used for incident management in our org. It provides easy traceability across multiple incidents.

  ### 50. Using FireHydrant to review incidents

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2022

**What do you like best about FireHydrant?**

What I like the best is the breakdown of important information into different sections for easy readability.

**What do you dislike about FireHydrant?**

What I do not like is that at first it can be difficult to locate the retrospective for an incident.

**What problems is FireHydrant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A problem FH is solving is a consolidation of all relevant information regarding an incident into one portal. That benefits me by allowing me to review incidents and quickly get an overview of what happened during that incident.
