Because of this, the list of projects gets really long and unless not archived, they keep appearing everywhere. The problem is that there are not enough details we have to go in the report. What I am saying is that it is not that user-friendly when you want to have statistics and do other things than just entering the time for a task for example. But if you do a bunch of little tasks entering the time can be time-consuming. As a small business, you can choose from a free version with limited functionality or a cost-effective paid version with more functionality. **What do you dislike about Clockify?** Occasionally the desktop app will lose connectivity. This happens on rare occasions and may be due to a bandwidth issue with my internet. However, when this occurs, the website application continues working fine, and no time tracking is lost. **Recommendations to others considering Clockify:** It's an easy to integrate and use product. Great for companies who have remote workers who have to "clock" time for payroll purposes, or for billable client work. **What problems is Clockify solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a remote-based company, with about 20 employees working from their homes across the United States. Clockify allows our team to track their time, both for billable and non-billable projects, so we can track hours for payroll and use to bill our clients for time worked on their projects. Clockify can also be used as a way to improve individual time management. By creating project entries such as "reading email", "training", "Internal Meetings", "Client Meetings", etc. I can see how my time is used over a longer period and identify time wasters so I can improve productivity. We do this with all our team, asking them to create their own unique project entries. For client billable projects, we label the project with the client company name, so billable time is tracked against that entry. ### 33. For what our organization needed it for, it was free of charge. We got all of our employees set up tracking their productivity in Clockify in under an hour. **What do you dislike about Clockify?** While one of the best parts about LCockify is the customizability, it can also pose an issue. Giving employees the ability to add their individual classifications means that we have a lot of duplicates. This isn't necessarily a problem but hinders the conciseness of the reporting. For example, each employee tends to track their staff meeting hours under their own created category, rather than sharing one. This should have been ironed out in our implementation process and could have been avoided. **What problems is Clockify solving and how is that benefiting you?** To be able to report our productivity has been a game changer. Sometimes there is maintenance and it causes service outage. We have added all our work projects on clockify and our team members check-in their time accordingly. Our finance team then estimates the revenue through the time spent on a project. I especially appreciate being able to filter by BOTH individual worker AND project, which this software allows. **What do you dislike about Clockify?** In the analyses/reports, I could not figure out a way to tabulate hours for custom lengths of time. For example, you can tabulate for the past week, month, year etc. But if I wanted to tabulate for the past two weeks or three weeks (or two months or three months), I couldn't find a way to do that quickly and easily. Also, though this may be idiosyncratic, one of my workers had trouble with the software triple-counting his logged hours.
