The platform was up and running in minutes, which was great. I initially used the free version for about three months and gradually added more features, like automatically adding time for scheduled meetings with clients. The integration with Google Calendar for automatically placing scheduled meetings into Clockify—with the length of time and client name coded—is really convenient. The platform serves as a one-stop solution for tracking my time by client and project effortlessly in the background. Additionally, the simple invoice creation tool saves me a lot of time on billing. Setting it up was straightforward, just needing a quick call with a technical person, and I could immediately start tracking time after setting up clients. **What do you dislike about Clockify?** Some of the features require purchasing a more expensive version, like rounding up of hours, but Clockify has a minimum of 3 seats required for that, so I have to add two seats I don't need. Also, I have to run reports to see my progress against my targeted hours per week per client and manually compare that to my goals. If I could recommend something, it would be to improve the Android app a bit, it's excellent but it could give me more reports and graphs. I can get all that from the website, so it's really not a problem. **What problems is Clockify solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have 3 support and customer service teams, and my project managers rely on Clockify to keep track of the time spent on activities and how much "downtime" there is between the different activities we carry out. Clockify handles that completely. Instead of logging my time in an unorganized excel document, I am able to use it to send out invoices, send reminders, and pull time for different clients! I use it every single day. I love how easy Clockify makes it to track your time, there is also an app version as well. Seeing the reports is super easy, and being able to add long descriptions has been amazing. **What do you dislike about Clockify?** I do think that while the app version is decent, it can be improved. The UI isn't the best and pulling the reports are quite limited using the app. **What problems is Clockify solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used to FORGET to send invoices when working with multiple clients, and forget to log my time especially when answering emails or phone calls. As a consultant, I charge per HOUR...so you understand the importance of keeping track of my time. More hours worked = More money. Like many other freelancers, I was tracking my time using a excel sheet. This made it more difficult when I was juggling up to 5 clients, and even worse when it came time to send invoices. Sending invoices required so much work that instead of sending out invoices every two weeks as normal, I would wait until the month was over...and still dreaded sending invoices. Clockify has completely changed my life. Now, as soon as I start work, I start my timer. I'm able to add in the task description so that when I pull it for the invoice, it tells the client exactly what I worked on. sending invoices is so easy because you can just pull it by the dates, AND it can also send follow-up reminders.
