I use it to create tasks, assign them to team members, set due dates, add comments, and check progress. It is simple to use compared to Jira, so our team did not need much training. I also like that task updates, files, and discussions stay connected with the project, which reduces follow-ups on email and chat. For daily project tracking, it is clean, useful, and easy for the team to understand. **What do you dislike about ActiveCollab?** What I dislike about ActiveCollab is that reporting and dashboard options can be more detailed. For daily task tracking it works well, but sometimes I need more flexible reports to show project status to management. Some settings also take time to find when you are new to the tool. The UI is very user-friendly, and creating a new task and especially recurring tasks is the best option, as I have to deliver weekly reports to my clients, and I have never forgotten any report in the past 4 years, as the weekly and monthly tasks are automatically created and assigned to me. The second best option is that we can edit messages in a limited time-frame, not whenever anyone wants it. Thirdly, the "reassigning" option, which keeps everyone in the loop. **What do you dislike about ActiveCollab?** For me, personally, ActiveCollab has helped me with almost everything I needed since I started using this tool. There is a lot of documentation available online that helps familiarize us with the different options and functions, as well as informing us about the use of templates, to mention an example. Its configuration of roles and permissions is quite robust, making it easy to define what a user can do in activeCollab since we have five predefined roles in the system in addition to being able to adjust them based on the particular needs of a project. On the other hand, we can invite members and collaborators through email notifications and assign them tasks, upload documents that support the activities and in general we can create a design that allows us to manage the execution of our project in a simple and efficient way. **What do you dislike about ActiveCollab?** One of the most distinctive features of ActiveCollab is its simple and easy-to-implement interface, which may be viewed with skepticism by some users of other traditional tools, who are used to seeing hundreds of customization options. But the truth is that when we execute technology projects, to mention one example, we simply need a good tool that allows us collaborative work such as ActiveCollap to periodically monitor and facilitate people and team members to update progress, record issues, and attach supporting documentation. ActiveCollab's interface has a simplicity that allows us to carry out efficient monitoring and automate some tasks related to the execution, thus, we can select, for example, the high-priority option for each task that we need to perform more quickly, which will indicate to the end user that we must attend with high priority. **What do you dislike about ActiveCollab?** ActiveCollab definitely encourages teamwork, this is achieved by assigning a project manager who will distribute the rest of the permissions to the members who will participate in the execution, so the people who participate will be able to know what is being done in the different tasks, progress, and completion of activities. On the other hand, ActiveCollab manages the entire process of a project, from the beginning, which is when an idea is generated, to the completion of a final product or service, in addition to the fact that we can invite new team members, or clients through sending an email to our work area and participating collaboratively. **What problems is ActiveCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?** With ActiveCollab it was possible to develop a mechanism to keep senior management informed, since it is perfectly feasible, for example, to create custom reports, apply filters, export that information in a universal format if necessary to other systems, and produce valuable data for the organization. Additionally, it was possible to do an intelligent follow-up from ActiveCollab to have visibility on the personnel that really contributes to the timely execution of the activities, considering the time invested in the completion of the tasks and in general, what is related to the workloads that the resource human can manage intelligently. In addition, its mobile APP allows all task updates to be stored immediately from the place where the engineers produce the information, which facilitates the work of the end user, and all through a more automated registration. ### 11. In my work it is very necessary to be able to determine and focus difficult tasks, ActiveCollab makes it possible since its platform has tools that do what is necessary for each project to be positive, also allows the power to collaborate with the other team members, being able to delegate tasks with just two click to any member or attached users. It is an easy program to classify clients and campaigns. Another aspect that I like is that users can select the number of emails that ActiveCollab receives. **What do you dislike about ActiveCollab?** It seems to me that ActiveCollab is a bit confused software since it is an all-inclusive tool that lacks features that other project management programs have. Similarly, ActiveCollab has no customization options for the appearance of the platform, so if you want to communicate with your customers, you will only receive active collaboration email, with only a small mention of you and your company. **Recommendations to others considering ActiveCollab:** LA I have been using for some time as a project management tool, it is indisputably highly recommended, and if what you or your company are looking for is to track tasks, good communication between several teams, share files, track expenses and project templates, APIs and integrations of accounting supplements, etc., so I believe that ActiveCollab should be your main choice. In addition, its simple and affordable prices make ActiveCollab an unmissable tool. **What problems is ActiveCollab solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is used in the company as a project management tool, helping us in the execution of daily operations of our company and our clients. In addition, it helps us keep track of what we do and where any project is in the timeline. With this tool we have been able to manage customer requests and improve internal and external communications.
