# What platform provides analytics on alert resolution times?

We’re looking for IT alerting tools that not only get the right notifications out, but also provide analytics and reporting on resolution times so we can actually measure and improve. Been checking out G2’s alerting grid and reviews, and I’ve narrowed it down to a few that stand out:

xMatters: Enterprise-grade workflows with reporting that breaks down acknowledgments, escalations, and team performance.

Dynatrace: Ties observability data with incident timelines. AI root cause analysis + dashboards give a clearer picture of resolution speed.

Freshservice: ITSM first, but its SLA and resolution analytics make it handy for teams that want tickets + alerting in one.

PagerDuty: Still the go-to for on-call analytics. Detailed MTTA/MTTR dashboards help teams prove where they’re improving (or not).

Better Stack: Modern, lightweight interface with incident timelines that make it easy to track resolution speed across teams.

Other names on my radar: New Relic, Site24x7, Splunk On-Call, Datadog, all with some incident analytics. So now I’m stuck. I’ve got this shortlist, but not sure where to go from here. Has anyone used or demoed these tools? Which did you end up choosing, and how did it work out for your team?

For our team, leadership is always asking for MTTR reports to show improvement. Curious if that’s the main metric your teams track too, or do you focus on other things like escalation depth or response workflows?
