"Easy-to-Use and Powerful Email Marketing Platform"
3/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

What I like best about ActiveCampaign is how easy it is to use, even for creating advanced marketing activities. It allows me to quickly build targeted email campaigns and newsletters for both existing and potential customers. The automation features are intuitive and help save a lot of time by streamlining repetitive tasks while ensuring the right message reaches the right audience. Overall, it makes managing email marketing campaigns much more efficient and effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

The platform offers many powerful features, so it can take some time to fully explore and make the most of all its capabilities. However, once you become familiar with it, it is easy to use and very effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Automation That Saves Me Time"
5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

What I value most about ActiveCampaign is the flexibility it gives me to create targeted and personalized email campaigns. The automation features make it easy to respond to different customer actions and guide contacts through a clear journey. I also find the tagging and segmentation tools very helpful, because they allow me to organize my audience and send more relevant messages to the right people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

I think the pricing can become quite expensive as your contact list grows. Some advanced features are also locked behind higher-tier plans, which may not be ideal for small businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Automated Email Sequences and Contact Management in ActiveCampaign"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

What I like best about ActiveCampaign is how easy it is to create automated email sequences and manage contacts in one place. It makes it simple to build different follow-up paths based on where someone is in the process, while still keeping everything organized and easy to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

The biggest downside is that ActiveCampaign can feel a little overwhelming at first. There are a lot of features and options, so finding the right setting or figuring out how to make a specific change isn’t always as intuitive as it could be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Automation with Solid Support"
5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

I like how ActiveCampaign offers support from the beginning, which makes it easier to learn how to use the tool. The integration of AI is super useful for solving doubts, processes, and problems. Once I had an issue duplicating an automation and the AI helped me resolve it in minutes, something I hadn't been able to identify. I also appreciate the support, as they are quick to respond, whether with AI or a human advisor. This was very valuable to me at the start, when I felt a bit lost, but the guidance was like a 1:1 training that made the learning curve more agile. The day-to-day support and the scheduled onboarding support are excellent. Additionally, I find that the automations greatly help in client follow-up, improve the quality of leads, and optimize the sales process. Security is another important aspect, as from the access point they have verifications that keep my session and databases secure. Finally, ActiveCampaign helps me streamline processes and improve indicators, such as the open rate of follow-up emails and automations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

Payments do not allow for immediate payment; the card is registered, and you have to wait until the charge is processed. It would be useful to add a 'pay now' button after entering the payment details, and a button to schedule the payment. It would also be good to have direct debit charge dates. "Responsive Support and an Intuitive ActiveCampaign Interface"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

ActiveCampaign has very responsive support that helped me on many occasions, especially with an issue I had regarding an invoice. The interface is also very intuitive compared to other providers I’ve tried. The pricing is pretty good and the ai integration can be a bit improved but it's enough Since now I can say it's very reliable and the speed is very good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Thankful to AC in My Holistic Nutrition Business"
3.5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

I've been using ActiveCampaign for my nutritional consulting business for 5 years now, and it's played a critical role in my ability to turn prospects into clients and ability to serve clients once enrolled in my program. It has the features and reliability that I need to be able to set-and-forget automations, and its user-friendly interface means that I can usually figure out new functions with little effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

I only use the more basic features of AC and have a small list, so I find the price point a bit high for my needs and extent of usage of the platform. The last price increase was quite a large jump for a small business like mine that needs to keep expenses down to stay operational. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ActiveCampaign: Complete CRM, Powerful Automations, and an Intuitive Experience"
5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

I have been using ActiveCampaign for more than 6 years, and what I like the most about it is how complete it is.

You have a very good CRM, complex automations (and automations inside automations too!), a thorough segmentation for your leads, AI, integrations with other platforms like Calendly, and many more.

They also have (for free) Masterclasses to learn more and good customer support as well. The interface is very intuitive and user-friendly. The price is fair enough considering everything you get.

I've had a very good experience with the performance and always recommend it whenever someone asks me which platform I use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

I think there's nothing I don't like. I'm very content with what I can do, even with the cheapest plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ActiveCampaign Makes Email Marketing and Automation Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

What stands out most about ActiveCampaign is its ease of use. The platform makes it simple to create, organize, and manage email marketing campaigns without requiring extensive technical knowledge. The interface is intuitive, and the available tools make it easier to build professional emails, manage contacts, and create automated customer journeys. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

Some of the more advanced automation and reporting features can take time to fully understand. However, once the initial setup and learning process are complete, the platform becomes much easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Reliable Automation—But Can Feel Overwhelming to Set Up at First"
3/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

What I like best about ActiveCampaign is how it combines powerful automation with an easy-to-use interface, making it much easier to manage marketing, customer communication, and follow-up workflows.

The **UI/UX** is well organized and gives you a good overview of campaigns, contacts, automations, and customer activity. The **integrations** are also a major benefit, as ActiveCampaign connects well with other tools and helps keep different parts of the workflow in sync.

In terms of **performance**, the platform is reliable for managing automated campaigns, email sequences, segmentation, and customer journeys. The **pricing and ROI** are strong because automation can save a significant amount of time and reduce repetitive manual work while helping maintain consistent customer engagement.

The **support and onboarding** experience makes it easier to understand the platform and get started with its different features. The biggest strength is the **AI/intelligence and automation capabilities**. ActiveCampaign can use customer data and behavior to create more personalized experiences, automate follow-ups, and help businesses communicate with the right audience at the right time.

Overall, ActiveCampaign is a valuable platform for improving efficiency, customer engagement, and marketing automation without requiring everything to be managed manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

The main thing I dislike about ActiveCampaign is that it can feel overwhelming when you’re first getting started. There are a lot of features, settings, and automation options, so it can take some time to understand how everything works and set up more advanced workflows correctly.

Some of the more advanced features could also be made more intuitive, especially for users who are not very technical. As the account and automations become more complex, managing campaigns and keeping everything organized can require additional effort. The pricing can also become a consideration as the contact list grows and more advanced features are needed.

That said, once you become familiar with the platform, the automation and customization capabilities make it a very powerful tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Update, Its steadily declining, especially support."
0.5/5
What do you like best about ActiveCampaign?

I used to think have a positive opinion of the services, but theyve been rolling out updates in a halfcocked way and breaking things, and theyve removed the ability to contact an actual support person, so getting support about the features THEY broke with updates is going to take hours. Its only gotten worse for the past few years. Looking at switching Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?

Revenue/actions from directly integrated sales channels(eg we have both Shopify and Woocommerce integrated for different uses) are not easily distinguishable in reports or separately useable in automations. And they count revenue over a crazy long window to try and prove their worth but its misleading Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nicole O. of ActiveCampaign

Thank you for sharing your honest feedback. We’re sorry to hear that recent product updates and changes to the support experience have left you frustrated. We understand how disruptive it is when features you rely on break or become harder to troubleshoot, and that’s not the experience we want for our customers. We’d like to look into this further with you, so please reach out to us at help@activecampaign.com and we can take a closer look.
