"Great notifications and flexible deadlines, but the UI could improve"
What do you like best about Freelo?

Notifications, plus the ability to set deadlines and adjust them when needed. I also like the option to include a link to another conversation, so information doesn’t have to be copy-pasted and can stay in one place. Overall, it’s great for helping us keep track of work tasks, since all the info, documents, and exchange history are kept together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

It would be better if "To-Do-Lists" related to 1 task could somehow be connected in a chain. When we work on 1 project, where several people are involved, and the subtasks follow 1 after another, it would be great if the continuity of the conversation was preserved, without the necessity to jump out from the level and search for different To-Do-Lists.

Also, it would be helpful if the link to related documents was available at all levels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, intuitive, and effective project management for teams"
What do you like best about Freelo?

Freelo is intuitive and well-organized, making it easy to manage projects, assign tasks, and keep communication clear within teams. I appreciate how simple it is to track progress through boards and checklists, and how it combines chat, task management, and file sharing in one place. The visual layout helps maintain clarity, and the notifications are just right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

Overall, Freelo works really well for organizing tasks and projects, but sometimes I find certain features a bit less flexible than I’d like. For example, reports and summaries could be clearer or offer more detail, and some actions like editing several tasks at once or adjusting deadlines take a few extra steps. These aren’t major problems, but small improvements in these areas could make everyday work even smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Freelo: My Festival Lifesaver"
What do you like best about Freelo?

What we value most about Freelo is its clarity and transparency. It allows us to coordinate work across multiple teams at once while still letting each team member focus only on what is relevant to them. Task assignment, filtering by individual team members, and shared access to files make collaboration efficient and keep everyone aligned, even in a fast-paced, international project environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

For our specific use case—an intensive six-day festival with a tightly scheduled program—the current interface feels a bit too general. We would welcome a more detailed timeline or calendar-style view where all program-related information could be managed in one place. That said, it’s possible we simply haven’t discovered all of Freelo’s features yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outstanding Local Product with Great Support and Intuitive Interface"
What do you like best about Freelo?

What I appreciated most about Freelo was that a product of this caliber is being developed in our region, with excellent support availability, a transparent changelog, and the opportunity to influence product development. I also appreciated the discount for our non-profit organization and the relatively intuitive user interface—in the past, I've used Trello, JIRA, Asana, and Basecamp. What do you dislike about Freelo?

The names of projects, to-do lists, tasks, and subtasks are fixed, and given the number of contexts in which we implement projects, it would be helpful to have customizable terminology. Task sharing between projects, which is already quite good, could also be improved further. We look forward to more advanced resource planning, cross-project and multi-source budgeting. "We use Freelo to manage school mini-projects."
What do you like best about Freelo?

Freelo is very useful for delegating tasks remotely. We are a large school with around 100 employees, and for department managers it is one way to organize their work using a mobile phone and shared boards. We use it to manage projects, and we also share links with external workers so they can see who is responsible for what and what each department needs to do. I use it on a daily basis. Managers have their mobile phones and upload everything directly, so we don’t use paper notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

I miss the option to export data to Excel. The main meetings are still managed with paper and pen. But maybe this will be added in the future and we will adapt to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A great help for our non-profit organization"
What do you like best about Freelo?

What I appreciate most about Freelo is its clarity and the way it organizes topics, which remains effective even when working with larger groups. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to use. In particular, Freelo has been instrumental in automating some of our company processes, such as recruiting new employees. We have integrated the entire recruitment process into Freelo, which has made things much easier for our colleagues and streamlined the adaptation period. Additionally, Freelo proves invaluable during discussions, where its clear structure and the option to attach files stand out. It is always easy to identify who is leading a discussion and who is participating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

Initially, setting everything up and entering all the necessary information was somewhat laborious, but the end result makes the effort worthwhile. We did run into a few issues, such as not being able to adjust the visibility of tasks within To-Do, the inability to assign multiple solvers, and the absence of read receipts. However, these are relatively minor concerns that can be addressed through alternative methods. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Freelo keeps our cultural projects organized and stress-free"
What do you like best about Freelo?

We use Freelo mainly for planning events and projects – from the first ideas to budgeting and technical coordination. What we love most is how clear and simple it is. Everyone knows what they’re responsible for, what the deadlines are, and how the tasks connect. The checklists and file attachments directly in tasks are super useful, too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

Sometimes we’d appreciate a few more options when working with budgets or the calendar, but those are really just minor things. Overall, the tool is reliable, intuitive, and does exactly what we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Freelo - help for our nonprofit organization"
What do you like best about Freelo?

We have been using Freelo for three months now, and even though the beginning was a little painful, we are glad we have it. It's not that it's complicated—quite the opposite! It's very intuitive to use, and I really appreciate Freelo's support. Whenever we've written to them, they've responded immediately with help, and I have to give a shout-out to their perfectly designed help page and regular webinars. At first, however, it takes some effort to come up with a structure that will work and fill it with an agenda. We are now at a stage where it is starting to make things easier and clarify some processes, but we are definitely not stopping there and will continue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

As I mentioned earlier, the setup process was quite laborious and required a bit of time and patience. We ran into a few minor issues that were somewhat bothersome, such as Freelo lacking read receipts, the inability to assign multiple solvers, and not being able to adjust the visibility of individual tasks in the To-Do list between users. However, these challenges can be worked around by entering the tasks in a different way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Structured Project Management with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about Freelo?

I appreciate Freelo for its clear and structured approach to project communication and organization. It effectively helps me keep project information well-organized and supports efficient collaboration, which aligns perfectly with my focus on quality communication and unified project management processes. Freelo excels in facilitating regular meetings and maintaining unified communication channels, significantly aiding in project management, specifically in construction and strategic projects. Additionally, the relatively simple initial setup makes it easy for new users to get started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

I find the lack of project visualization tools, such as Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) or Gantt charts, problematic. These tools are crucial for effective project management as they offer a clear visual representation of project timelines and task dependencies, which is currently missing. Additionally, I am disappointed by the absence of budget planning and management features within the application. These are essential for comprehensive project planning and control, and their inclusion would significantly enhance the functionality of Freelo for my project management needs. "Great for Task Tracking, Needs List Editing Improvements"
What do you like best about Freelo?

I use Freelo for keeping track of tasks during projects. It's clear to see what needs to be done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freelo?

Once you make a to-do list, you can't add notes or a time frame. It's only at the point when you create this to-do list. You create it, make the checkbox tasks, save it, and then you realize you want to write something in the note according to this to-do list, but it's too late.
