**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natália P. | Project coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

Since I started using Freelo, I liked the fact that the app follows a specific theme, which is also used in the emails, in the names of the different roles and others.

The introductory videocall was helpful and well structured. The callers were professional and quick to respond to questions.

Work assignments arise outside of meetings and at any time of the day. Therefore, I appreciated that it is also possible to download Freelo as an app on both smartphone and laptop.

In Freelo I appreciate most the possibility to divide into several projects which allows a better overview between tasks. As a great advantage I consider multiple options for displaying all tasks, as the employee can customize it according to his own preference.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

I see Freelo as a great asset to our project, especially because of the range of features and the ease of navigating the application.
In my time using the app so far, I am not comfortable with the notification system. It is not possible to set notifications only for certain tasks but only for the app as a whole which can be overwhelming.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before I started using Freelo, I didn't use any other similar app for work tasks. I used to write down my work tasks on a sticky note, in a notebook, or in Word. I found it inefficient and tedious. Because of the overall setup and system of Freelo software, it is easier for me and our team to record infrequent and recurring tasks.

 ### 8. Freelo is handy software, that simplify tasks assigments and ensures that you keep track of tasks.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivana M. | Project coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

The free webinars we attended were very helpful in getting started with Freelo, where the lecturers explained the basic tools and the whole principle and logistics of Freelo. In case of any problem, they have fast and functional customer service where they can answer questions or help you with any problem.

Now, after using the Freelo tool regularly (every day) for a while, I can say that it makes it easy to keep track of tasks, whether based on deadlines or importance. We quickly grew to like Freelo in the office, we all have a good overview of our tasks and can easily communicate about work-related things in the discussion area. It's also very good that we can mark tasks we've already completed as finished, as well as the fact that we can set a periodicity for recurring tasks, so we're reminded whenever a task is relevant again.

In case we have a lot of tasks assigned to us, it is a great advantage that we can filter in a very detailed and specific way the tasks that we currently have to deal with, which again simplifies our work and makes it easier to navigate to accomplish everything that we have to do.

A small, and overall not very important feature that made me very happy in Freelo is that we can add different emoji reactions to messages that our colleagues write. Also the Freelo theme has a specific theme - ship, which they stick to when communicating but also when naming some of the features in the app.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

Personally, I do not like, that you can set only one person as a solver of the project. If more people solve the same task, you can add more people only as followers of the task, not the responsible solvers.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our company, all colleagues are assigned a large number of different tasks. Freelo helps us to see which tasks are assigned to which colleague, or helps us to keep track of which tasks we are assigned, or when they are due. It also helps us to keep our responsibilities in one place. We use a lot of excel, word, or PDF documents in our work, it is possible to add a link to a specific file or directly insert a file if needed. So we no longer have to search for documents on disk when dealing with them, but have everything neatly in one place. Just like we can throw away the sticky notes plastered around our office because now we have everything we need neatly written down in Freelo.

 ### 9. Event management via the Freelo tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaroslav J. | Tvůrce programu, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

We use Freelo to organize events, and it’s an excellent tool for event managers.

We prefer:
- the mobile app and deadline notifications (the app alerts us about deadlines, new comments, and activities on tasks)
- task overviews and the ability to filter them (it helps maintain an overview of deadlines and team work, especially for tasks with approaching due dates)
- task templates for repetitive activities (this simplifies our workflow for recurring tasks, allowing us to create a template that we can easily duplicate)
- notes and wiki (provides a way to document event details and share important information with the whole team)
- discussion threads for each task (this reduces unnecessary communication in team chats)
- the ability to link related tasks for each task (enables creating connections between tasks)

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

Overall, Freelo is an excellent fit for our work. Initially, I thought a downside was that you cannot assign multiple solvers to a single task within the Freelo app. However, after using it for a while, I realized that this is actually a fantastic feature—since it ensures that only one person is accountable for each task at a time. If a task involves others on the team, Freelo allows us to add multiple followers. This workflow aligns well with the fundamental principles of project management: one task equals one responsible person. (If multiple team members need to be involved in solving a task, we can simply add more followers.) Overall, this setup helps us maintain clear responsibilities within the team.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For a long time, we in the team were looking for a suitable tool to manage our events. We organize conferences and fairs. We switched to Freelo and it helped us keep a great overview of tasks and simplified communication in our team. Overall, we use Freelo every day and currently can't imagine working without it. I think every event manager should use Freelo because it simplifies his work when planning his events - whether it's small events, workshops, full-day conferences or fairs for 5000 people. As we organize more conferences, we can keep track of tasks. Freelo also helps us simplify our work and we can create task templates for our events, which is a key feature for us as we do many tasks repeatedly with each conference. What we like about Freelo is that it has all the features in one app. Here we have tasks, wikis, documents, reports, we can track our time and we can also communicate in Frello. We used Slack for team communication, which we were able to stop using thanks to Freelo. Because all discussions can be clearly solved in Freelo for specific tasks, so it will replace unnecessary communication in another application. This simplified our overall work-flow.

 ### 10. A Practical Tool for Streamlined Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Museums and Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

Easy-to-use interface with a clean design
Great collaboration features, including task comments and file sharing
Helpful time tracking and budget management tools
Excellent customer support with quick response times

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

The free version has a limited number of users
Some advanced features take time to master

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Freelo has solved my biggest project management challenges by centralizing tasks, communication, and time tracking in one place. No more lost emails or scattered notes—everything is structured and easy to find.

The built-in time tracking helps me stay productive and bill clients accurately, while the budget tracking ensures I keep project costs under control. Overall, Freelo makes my workflow smoother, saves me time, and boosts my efficiency!

 ### 11. Freelo for better organisation and overview

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sabina W. | Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

Clarity of individual tasks, intuitive use of the program, ability to keep track on mobile, not as many organizational meetings, great tool for event planning

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

use of office packages, no easy preview, must be downloaded each time, limited number of people logged in at Freelu

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

clarity, organization in tasks, replacement of email communication and personal meetings

 ### 12. Tasks finally under control

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin J. | Partner marketing specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

Freelo is very easy to navigate. I quickly learnt what it does. And when I am not sure how to do something, I contact customer support and they always help me. They have many materials ready which give me ideas how to use the tool. I use Freelo few times per week. Integration is not needed - just log in to the browser SaaS application.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

There is nothing to complain about. I wish I had used it sooner.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Freelo helps me to know which tasks I should do and what the deadline is. I can communicate with colleagues in the task so I don't have to send them e-mails or meet with them. It is especially great for days when I work from home.

 ### 13. Put all our tasks in one place.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oto P. | Project manager / assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

I use Freelo to write down my working hours and navigate in my tasks on a daily basis. After nearly a year of experience I mainly appreciate its Czech interface which is a big advantage for us as some of our organization's members are not a functioning English speakers. In the Team version, I personally find it more than sufficient for us. Freelo is pretty intuitive to use and even if you struggle to find something, the "Search" function is surprisingly well set. I really like the possibility of writing down the working hours directly linked to the task.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

The greatest disadvantage of Freelo from my perspective is its effort to serve as a universal platform for all companies and organizations. This leads to some vague display of tables that are pretty much useless to us (I also find the time measure gadget an overkill). This might work perfectly in some teams but it shows unnecessary for us.
I personally would very much appreciate customizable homepage and tabs for better organization of projects (which can't be organized further, or at least I did not find a way to do so).

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Freelo is really useful for a bigger number of team members when emails and phone calls are no longer sufficient. Works really well when you are not set up in one physical office and provides much better control of the tasks being done. The display of budget / worked hours and invested finances works really well for us. However, it takes some time for all the colleagues to adapt to the new environment, and it my opinion it would pay off to create a specialist "Freelo manager" who will create all projects and tasks templates and will, at least for some time, coordinate the correct run of the things, otherwise it becomes really messy as there is multiple ways to create, mark and organize tasks and projects and unless you make and order, no one else will.

 ### 14. Really accelerated the way our NGO works.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** A_JARO J. | Project & PR manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

We use it every day for one year. The biggest advantage is definitely its Czech interface, as this would be a big barrier for some of our colleagues (compared to Asana, which we tested earlier). We have the Team version and most of the features are sufficient for us. Very good customer support!

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

Obviously, the system is not completely set up for the system of functioning of NGOs. So we had to be quite creative and adapt it to make it usable for ours. Among the weaknesses I can mention: not quite perfect use of tags or inability to sort projects into smaller logical units. Less technically proficient colleagues have a problem with integration.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We decided to switch to Freelo because our team has grown considerably and email communication was no longer effective. We needed something so that we didn't lose tasks and could better control they are done. At the same time, we needed to keep better track of budgets and work reports. Many things are still being tweaked and some colleagues are still getting used to it or they're outright boycotting it. :) It looks like it will save us money, even though it is a paid service.

 ### 15. Everybody knows what to do

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

Clear profile, intuitive controls, better team organisation, Czech language version. We appreciate the options to view tasks. The connectivity with the calendar is great.
We use it not only for entering tasks in the team, but also as a notepad for reminders of regular events.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

It took a while for everyone on the team to get used to using freeloading as the main source of organizing our work together. Online work organization requires a task manager and a task and note organizer in freelo, which brings with it any work management system in a larger team.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplify team communication, fewer tasks are forgotten and not left for last minute production.

 ### 16. Freelo - intuitive tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zuzana U. | manager of activities, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

Freelo has been a game-changer for our team’s project management and collaboration needs. It’s intuitive, user-friendly, and packed with features that help save time, and boost productivity. Simple to understand. Clear and well-organized. The desktop version is definitely more intuitive and user-friendly than the mobile one, which we don’t use much. A big advantage is the almost immediate and fast customer support.
All employees use it daily. The best feature is the ability to break down a project into individual tasks with clear assignments, assignees, priorities, deadlines, and discussions.
Easy implementation.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

The inability to assign a task to multiple people (it can only be broken down into subtasks), and the mobile version of the app is not very user-friendly.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clear task allocation for all employees.
The tool is part of our meetings, where we assign tasks on the spot.

 ### 17. A clear and nice environment that can be adjusted according to the needs and specialization of the project

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michaela H. | Vedoucí pracovník, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

Intuitiveness, clarity, and ease of use of tools

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

I don't like that it's not possible to insert paths or links to documents or tables, and that every time there are corrections or additions, it's necessary to download the item and re-upload it. This bothers me a lot on Freelo.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Division of competencies, time allocation, plans, regulation of responsibilities

 ### 18. Freelo in marketing and PR for cultural center

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Radka F. | PR and marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

Freelo has become an indispensable tool for my work. I use it everyday. Intuitive and clear project management. Nice and intuitive way how to plan and organise work and campaigns and don't forget something. All in one place reachable from anywhere while using also mobile app. Possibility of shared communication and colaboration within the team over individual tasks. Scheduling and connection to other applications such as Google calendar. It is not overwhelming. Overall a time saver and a good helper in systematic work.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

So far I haven't noticed any disadvantages. May be implementation within team is quite challenging as with any other new tool.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- planning campaigns and creating publication plans
- discussing content and marketing material within team on one place
- gathering all necessary materials from the team and have it available for everyone on one place, even materials with big size
- everything in one place accessible from anywhere

 ### 19. Freelo is the best for us

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Petr M. | manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

Giving information for all staff and put date for our information. Take and cooperation people for jobs and we have information who must doit thinks for company.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

Linking to email means any change is immediately sent to email. It clutters up the mailbox

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fast communication between all collaborators. We can enter information for individuals and groups of people without a phone. Plus, everyone can see who assigned what to whom and when the event should be completed. great

 ### 20. Be effective and safe time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jiri E. | Education Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

I appreciate the large number of user settings, filter options, and the ability to customize tasks as needed. The mobile app is a great part of the whole solution. It is very user friendly and simple to understand. Localization of the product into Czech is very useful.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

I have not found any cons yet so I can not write here anything.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It enables clearer and more efficient assignment and completion of tasks.

 ### 21. We were looking for a tool for effective project management and we succeeded.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Petra M. | zástupkyně ředitelky, grantová administrátorka, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

Intuitive environment, easy task entry and tracking, and most importantly, Czech language

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

Currently, there is nothing that bothers me about Freelo.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In Freelo, you can easily create specific projects and then add To-Do lists with tasks under them. Tasks can be assigned easily and clearly, everyone involved can see the entire communication related to the project or task, and it is easy to find out what is currently happening with the task and who is handling it.

 ### 22. A User-Friendly Task Management Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucia M. | Project Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

Freelo is a highly intuitive task management tool that stands out for its ease of use and versatility. One of the best features is the ability to seamlessly manage both personal and team projects on a single platform. The interface is clean and user-friendly, making it easy to organize tasks, set deadlines, and assign responsibilities. Collaboration is made easier thanks to the integrated chat and the ability to leave comments and reactions on tasks. Additionally, the time tracking feature is excellent for monitoring project progress and ensuring that deadlines are met.

A particularly useful feature is the "out of office" option, which helps ensure that no one is assigned tasks during their absence. However, it would be even better if this feature prevented assigning deadlines to someone who has marked themselves as out of office, and provided a clearer notification when leaving a task for someone on leave. Overall, Freelo simplifies the project management process, making it an indispensable tool for teams and individuals alike.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

While Freelo is generally a powerful tool, there are a few aspects that could be improved. For instance, you can create subtasks from a subtask, but currently, it's not possible to assign a deadline to them, even though you can assign them to a user. This can lead to these subtasks not appearing on the user’s dashboard, which might cause them to be overlooked. Additionally, it would be beneficial if task creators had more control, as currently, anyone can close or finish a task, which could sometimes lead to unintentional closures.

In terms of communication, while the chat feature is handy, it would be even better if you could see who has read your comments. This would help ensure that everyone is up to date with the latest discussions. Lastly, the notification system, while functional, could be enhanced to ensure that important updates aren’t missed. Despite these points, Freelo remains a solid choice for task management, with plenty of strengths that outweigh these minor inconveniences.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management.

 ### 23. A useful tool for teamwork

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benedikt M. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

Freelo is a very convenient and flexible tool for working on projects in a multi-person team.
I appreciate especially the clear structure, which I can also customize as a user according to the needs of the project. Thanks to this, all team members can see how the joint tasks are progressing.
It helps when working that projects in Frell can integrate external tools, such as email tasking or calendar sharing.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

Freelo would benefit from offering some additional tools. I consider a shared whiteboard or a mind map as such. Such tools would help sharing ideas before they become concrete tasks for team members.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Freelo facilitates team communication, planning and distribution of tasks, tracking of particular stages during project implementation.

 ### 24. Review of the Corporate Captain

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavlína S. | Vedoucí kanceláře, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

Possibility of collaboration across the company. Assigning tasks, subtasks, ...

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

The disadvantage is the inability to edit already inserted documents; we must save and attach them again after editing.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Assign tasks, monitor deadlines not only for my assigned tasks but also for the tasks of others.

 ### 25. Freelo has helped us work efficiently and transparently

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tadeáš K. | Manager, fundraiser, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

The best thing about Freel is that we can work on common tasks as a team while everyone knows exactly what stage the projects are at. Everyone knows who is working on a specific task and by when the task must be completed.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

It is not yet possible to synchronize Freelo with Outlook calendar, but according to support they are working on it.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Freelo helped us to solve the problem of assigning tasks - before we started using the program, we didn't know what tasks our colleagues were working on. Now everything is transparent. The manager already has an overview of the tasks of the staff.

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

My favorite thing about Freelo is having everything organized in one place. The recurring tasks feature is a huge plus. It automatically re-opens tasks for me every month. I also like how I can easily filter tasks that don’t have an assigned person, making it easier to plan and assign them quickly.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

I'm happy with Freelo. I don't use all the features it has but what I do use is enough for me.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I know what is going on in my team and I can easily deal with urgent tasks when someone is unexpectedly off work due to sickness etc.

 ### 28. Freelo in non profit organization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martina M. | Communication Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

The Freelo app has become an useful tool for us in managing projects and coordinating team work. Its simplicity, flexibility, and ability to integrate with other tools help us not only organize our tasks but also improve communication and teamwork.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

While the app is designed to be user-friendly, new users may initially feel overwhelmed by the variety of features, particularly if they are not accustomed to using project management tools.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Each of our projects has clearly defined tasks, assigned to specific team members. This way, we always have an overview of what needs to be done, who is responsible for each task, and the deadlines for completion. Thanks to Freelo, we have full control over the entire project process, allowing us to focus more on what truly matters.

 ### 29. On board to an amazing management tool with great staff

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliver B. | chief coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

The first thing that pleasantly surprised me was the very friendly and professional customer support, who immediately communicated with me and explained the basic features to me. In addition, Freelo also offers free seminars in which they explain how the program works and there is room for questions.

The functions in the program are very intuitive and user-friendly. I appreciate the task overview, which offers multiple view options, as well as the way I can filter my tasks. Since in my work, many tasks are similar and also repetitive, the task templates feature is a big advantage for me. Also, I find the way I can add/remove a task to the responsible person even while the task is in progress to be the easiest it can be. In addition, the way I can write down tasks in a detailed yet clear way (thanks to sub-tasks and sub-tasks in sub-tasks) is very helpful for my messy brain.

Even though it's not important at all, I love it when a company has a theme. In Freelo's case, it is a ship and I like the way they add this unimportant element to the program, as it's good to have some fun while working.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

The way licenses work: one account has to buy multiple licenses and all projects that are created have to be under this main account/captain to take advantage of the tariff.

It's not something I wouldn't recommend Freelo for, but it's something that doesn't suit me specifically.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On our project, we have long been looking for ways to assign and track tasks as efficiently as possible. Freelo gave us an overview of who is doing what tasks, how many tasks they have and by when they have to complete them. It has greatly simplified the management of people's tasks.

In my work I often faced the problem of forgetting deadlines and poor task writing, as my job often required quick and frequent task writing, I was often overwhelmed with notes afterwards that I couldn't keep track of. Freelo helps me to quickly write down a task that I can then see clearly, which has reduced the number of forgotten deadlines.

 ### 30. Professional support, smooth implementation and features for every situation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roman K. | Executive manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

In our work, we have long felt that we needed a tool to improve team collaboration, project management and task management. Over the last few years, our team has grown from a few staff to 20 people. After a long search, we chose Freelo and were particularly impressed by the individual approach and communication. We had the opportunity not only to try Freelo but also to ask the creators directly to see if the tool would be able to cover the needs of our work.

During the implementation, we appreciated the educational webinars that allowed our employees and colleagues to learn the basics and advanced features of Freelo.

Freelo's capabilities are very broad and we have managed to bring all of our work agenda into it, despite the fact that our workload is very diverse and we have multiple levels of management. The design of the app is, in my opinion, cleaner than some competing apps and I'm happy that Freelo works equally well across devices (mobile, laptop) and operating systems.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

In months of using it, we have only once experienced a technical issue where tasks did not go to write for a few minutes.

At first I didn't understand the role system, where it depends on which account the business licenses are ordered from for the rest of the team. This was explained to me by the instructor in the online webinar.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In a large team, we have unified the way we record tasks, minutes, ideas and processes.

The manager has the ability to track tasks and the progress of entire projects in many different ways if needed.

Our substitutability skills have improved and the working style of colleagues in the same position has been unified.

It depends on the personality type but some colleagues enjoy using Freelo and therefore their organisation and motivation has improved.

 ### 35. Amazing tool for team collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David N. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

Freelo is a great tool for team collaboration, especially if you need to manage multiple people and projects.

It is very intuitive and easy to use, most of the team members understood the software very quickly and were able to use its functions without previous practice. It is clear and straightforward.

It enables you to create multiple projects, divide each project into individual sections and assign different roles. Each task can be assigned to a specific person, you can set deadlines, priorities and even relations to another task, very nice tool, especially if you have many concomitant tasks and need to see, which ones cannot be completed without other tasks being completed first and even view it on a timescale.

You can upload documents or photos or write comments, so basically, apart from very thorough to-do list, it combines features like document cloud, e-mail or "Facebook".

Our team personally organizes various events for students and the public, one of our biggest being representative ball which needs many months of preparation and various teams so collaboration and flow can be tricky, however since we went for Freelo, everything became much more organized and smooth.

We use it regularly for other projects, that take place throughout the year and it actually made our jobs easier.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

So far, we haven’t encountered any features of Freelo that wouldn’t suit our needs or would make it more difficult.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Assigning different tasks to different people, being able to see everything related in one place including deadlines, responsible persons and relations while keeping it very clear and organized.

That this app is really easy to use and it's not complicated, very well designed and everyone can see their tasks they need.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

I don't have much to say something negative, the app is great! Sometimes the notifications won't show up to others even me, but still works good.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have a problem with Freelo so the solving is not known to me. But the customer support is great and their quick response is benefiting us very well if there is a problem with app (one time it was lagging) but still great.

 ### 40. Freelo is an irreplaceable member of the team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eva S. | Project Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

I've been using Freelo every single day for more than 2 years now, and it's been a game-changer for our team's productivity and collaboration. Freelo is an intuitive, user-friendly platform that’s packed with features, making it ideal for managing projects and everyday tasks while enhancing team communication. Its task management system is outstanding, allowing us to break projects down into manageable tasks, assign them to the right team members, and set clear deadlines. This ensures everyone is fully aware of their responsibilities and timelines.

Freelo really shines when it comes to fostering collaboration. The platform enables us to comment on tasks, share files, and track progress in real-time, which has greatly improved our team's communication and overall efficiency. It eliminates the need for endless email threads or cluttered group chats—everything is neatly organized within Freelo.

In terms of value, Freelo is fantastic. The pricing is reasonable, especially given the wealth of features it offers. For small to medium-sized teams, it’s a cost-effective solution that delivers great results without stretching the budget.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

Freelo has been a great addition to our team, with a solid range of features and an easy-to-use interface. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved.

The notification system is effective but can get overwhelming, especially for teams handling many tasks. Having more control over notifications would help users focus on the most important updates and avoid unnecessary distractions.

Task Deletion/Closing Permissions: Currently, any user can delete or close a task, even if they didn’t create it. While this flexibility has its benefits, it also risks accidental deletions or miscommunication. It would be better if only the task creator could delete or close tasks, adding an extra layer of security and preventing important tasks from being accidentally removed.

Read Receipts for Tasks: It would also be helpful to have a way to see who has read or acknowledged a task or message. Right now, we manage this internally, but a built-in read receipt feature, similar to those in messaging apps, would be more efficient. It would ensure that everyone tagged on a task has seen it and knows what they need to do.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Freelo excels at fostering collaboration. The ability to comment on tasks, share files, and track progress in real-time has significantly improved our team's communication and efficiency. No more endless email chains or messy group chats —everything is neatly organized within Freelo.

 ### 45. A remarkable tool for complex project management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marlène R. | Head of Instagram, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

We have found that Freelo allows its customers to manage even very complex projects!

Different departments can be divised into their own projects (Marketing, Social Media, Event team and many more). This helps immensly in navigating through any large amount of data. Additionally, even more structure can be added by using to-do lists and what seems to be a never ending option of tasks and subtasks.

One might think that having these many organizing options might lead to great chaos - but it is not the case with Freelo. This Product offers more options like: databases of activity, files, calendars and more! Not to mention the small features that can really save time - some of our favourites are: the possibility to make a task out of a simple comment, showing progress in percentages and easy discussions through chats under each task.

We also greatly appreciated the video manual/demonstration set up at the beginning of our journey with Freelo - it helped with the implementation and integration. Not to forget the continous customer support!

Personally, our organization uses this product daily and and we can only recommend!

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

We found that the visuals of Freelo and navigating through it did take some getting used to. It is afterall a complex product.

We also found one thing quite uncomfortable - that getting notifications via email was automatically turned on in the settings. This can of course be manually turned off - but it can still be a challenging task for a new user.

There are a few details that we would also like to highlight so they can be improved later on. Firstly, the fact that only one person can be assigned to a task. Once again, this can be outsmarted by creating subtasks and assigning them to different people - but it would be nice if you could assign two people to a task without having to create subtasks. Secondly, it would come in handy if the time spent of the app started running upon the opening of the app itself and not by getting manually set off.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of unorganized material, chats and files. This benefits me and my organization in creating a cohesive and easy to navigate database.
Additionally, it touches upon time management, as deadlines can easily be set for each rask and assigned accordingly.

 ### 46. Freelo in culture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

Freelo delivers what it promises. Teamwork on projects is clearer and faster.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

More complex settings of the project work system.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Freelo for planning and realizing cultural events. I have been working in culture for over 20 years. During this time I have developed a system of work that has continuously profiled and worked. The moment our performance team started to expand, it was time to find a way to streamline our collective work. Replace email communication, etc. Freelo came along and we started setting up projects, templates and finding the right way to set up the project and teach the team how to work with it, which I think is the hardest part of the transition. The moment the projects are fine-tuned, the work becomes more efficient quickly. After a year of use, I wouldn't change.

 ### 48. Invaluable tool for growing NGO

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

Freelo is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for our team to manage multiple projects and tasks. The ability to assign tasks, set deadlines, and track dependencies is particularly useful for our complex projects. Additionally, it supports document uploads and comments, combining the functionalities of a document cloud, email, and social media.

After chosing Freelo were impressed by their personalized approach and communication. Direct consultations with the support ensured meeting our specific needs. Freelo’s implementation was seamless, thanks to their educational webinars that helped our team quickly learn the tool’s features. ### 49. Everything is organized now, no more full e-mail boxes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kateřina N. | NGO´s manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

This is my third Freelo integration into an organization that has never used a project management tool before. I am very satisfied with Freelo, because it makes work in the team - tasks and deadlines - clearer. Integration into personal calendars is very helpful. What I welcomed the most was that our e-mail boxes were no longer full and that there were fewer messages on other platforms (such as WA, messenger, linked-in). Everything is beautifully organized under individual projects and tasks, personal responsibilities are clear. For the less tech-savvy, massive technical support is available.

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

The search window sometimes does not work reliably.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Freelo solved the problem of communicating information to tasks, clearly defining who is working on what and when the work should be done.

 ### 50. Highly effective project management support software.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stanislav P. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Freelo?**

I mainly appreciate the speed with which the entire NGO adopted it. It was wery easy to implemnt it. It's ideal for both big projects and tracking many small tasks. We are using it on every day basis. The software is continuously evolving, and ongoing support is provided by the development team

**What do you dislike about Freelo?**

Some features must be further developed. For example if one task belongs to more projects.

**What problems is Freelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping project plans. Measure project progress. Defines tasks responsibility.
