With the amazing support offered by the Mentimeter team, we are continuing to grow our implementation and use of Mentimeter! **What do you dislike about Mentimeter?** While adding Mentimeter slides to your PowerPoint is fairly straightforward, there are some aspects that I would enjoy being more fluid (such as more broad utility while working through PowerPoint versus having to build a slide in the Mentimeter website then add it to the PowerPoint - this is considered a minor frustration that takes a little extra time to build content. The only other feature that I would love to see improved is the aspect of uploading PowerPoint presentations into Mentimeter - when this is done it turns a slide into a screenshot image, thus losing any interactive or animation features that slide may have had previously. **What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mentimeter is allowing me to better engage my students during teaching sessions, giving them opportunities to assimilate information and provide a response that I can then use to interpret general classroom understanding of a topic. This can help me alter my approach, take more time on a muddy point, or move quickly through content that the class generally seems to grasp. My group sizes range from 20 people to 250+ people, for corporate meetings and events. After the meetings I use mentimeter, I always recieve feedback on how much they enjoyed the meeting and were much more invested in it because of the inclusion of mentimeter. It takes just a few minutes of poking around in the mentimeter tool to learn it and create your first mentimeter because it is that intuitive! I have used mentimeter to get attendees to be more involved in the meeting by including ice breakers questions, polling questions, and to get feedback from the group. There are a lot of different options available, including: word clouds, live polling using different styles of graphs and dots, ranking of items, word bubbles, and pinning images. This makes using mentimeter much more appealing because demonstrating results is so dynamic and variable. I also use mentimeter for knowledge assessments. The audiences gets VERY invested in the knowledge assessment because they can easily participate from their phone with a fun name and user icon and the winner gets a prize at the end from me + the knowledge asessment has easy to include graphics and music. Mentimeter is also awesome for getting questions from the audience in a larger setting. I use it for plenary sessions to recieve questions from the audience, in place of walking a microphone around the room. This allows to recieve questions right when they have them, more people feel comfortable asking questions and then a group of questions can be moderated to the speaker when there is a proper opening. Lastly, I love that Mentimeter has the option for branding and coloring. This makes the tool feel way very high end and fits right into large corporate meetings. **What do you dislike about Mentimeter?** I think mentimeter is an awesome tool! Other tools on the market for creating engaging meeting experience are not as easy to implement/use, diverse in their offerings, and professional looking (for the corporate world). It would be great if mentimeter extended their survey function to include more questions. **What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently, there is so much going on in our professional and personal lives that it can be very hard to focus in on and feel part of a meeting, if we are not running it. This can be in a virutal or in-person environment. Mentimeter works to solve this by engaging people to not only feel energized by the format of the meeting, but to also feel like they are a part of the meeting, like they have input into the meeting, and to really solidify the takeaways of a meeting. As a participant of a Menti exercise - again, easy to interact, colorful, fun (especially the leaderboard in quizzes). Great model of the free account - we started using it, and created apetite to upgrade our licence. **What do you dislike about Mentimeter?** We use Teams for collaboration, and Teams also has polls that are easier to reach as it is an integrated tool. With menti we need an extra step (to join with the code), nevertheless Menti is so much more colorful, has much more functionalites, templates. So it worth the price :-) **What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had a culture of one-way communication (in meetings, townhalls - just presenting without any interactions with the audience) - with Menti we could shape it towards a more collaborative, interactive and fun way. We originally selected Mentimeter because we could get invoiced instead of only paying by credit card. I'm glad we selected them because the tool has surpassed our expectations on ease of use, features, integration into our global enterprise and much more. Our employees love using the tool (it's easy to learn and implement) and attendees enjoy the interactive presentations and trainings now. What has surpassed my expectations is the customer support. Hands down, the best customer support within the tool and with the team that has helped onboard us and ensures all my users are informed and able to successfully use Mentimeter. The implementation effort is almost zero. I am using it in almost all of my sessions. As a lecturer it supports me in making my sessions with my students more interactive - even when the subjects are boring. I like that you can make the first - featurewise almost unlimited - steps with this tool even without paying for it. **What do you dislike about Mentimeter?** In the basic (free) version Menti forces me to keep the platform and my Powerpoint Charts separate. That makes it a bit of a hussle to jump between both - especially in Online Settings. Nevertheless there is a feature to integrate both into one tool which is exclusive to the paid plans - I fully understand that Menti needs good arguments for the paid plans. But maybe it would be possible to have the integration available for a limited number of sessions even for non-paying users. **What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?** Menti is surprising for my listeners and clients. They don't expect more than me "reading" my slides. Therefore the usage of this tool increases their engagement, lets me present myself as a modern lecturer and lets me better understand where they are - subjectwise: What are their questions, what do they associate with the subjects I teach.
