“Perfect for Vector Graphics with Stellar Pen Tool”
What do you like best about Adobe Illustrator?

I like Adobe Illustrator because it's easy to understand and provides various options to design vectors and new logos. I especially appreciate the pen tool as it helps me create new things and it's vital for a designer who works with logos and vectors; I can't think of any better app for it. I love the 3D updates because they give a new style to my designs, so I don't have to switch to Photoshop for that. The initial setup was pretty easy, just a normal sign-in works! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Illustrator?

I think if they also have an option to trace an image through pen tool all by just one click that would be amazing. They could make the run time while working with heavy files better! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Illustrator solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adobe Illustrator is easy to understand, gives various design options for vectors and new logos, and the pen tool helps create whatever I'm imagining. I love the 3D updates for styling, so I don't need to switch to Photoshop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Simple, Fast Diagramming That Makes Real-Time Collaboration Easy”
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

What I like most about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is how simple and user-friendly it is. I can create diagrams quickly without getting confused, and the drag-and-drop tools keep the whole process fast and straightforward. It’s also excellent for teamwork, since multiple people can work on the same diagram in real time, making collaboration smooth, efficient, and easy to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

What I dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is that it can sometimes feel a bit slow, especially when I’m working on larger or more complex diagrams. I also find it limiting that some useful features are locked behind the paid version. And at times, when I’m managing multiple elements on the canvas at once, things can get a little confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?

It basically helps me explain ideas clearly without confusing other people. Instead of only talking or writing, I can show things visually, which makes it much easier for everyone to understand. It also reduces the usual back-and-forth confusion, because we can all look at the same diagram and update it together. For me, it saves time and makes teamwork feel a lot clearer and smoother overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

OP
“Miro Templates Make It Easy to Get Started and Keep Everything in One Place”
What do you like best about Miro?

Honestly, i think the template aspect has been the most valuable part of using Miro. The last time i worked an extended shift, i wasn’t going to start building every single layout for our board from scratch. Being able to pick a layout and then just begin was something i didn’t realize i needed until i had it. Everything we’re working on exists in one place - including links, images, videos, comments from other people and you can either share the entire board with someone or a specific section. As it turns out being able to direct multiple people to different areas of the same board is huge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

I love the number of options available as much as i hate the fact that there are so many options. At some point the flexibility of Miro becomes a problem because you spend too much time trying to decide how to arrange your setup versus simply arranging your setup. And (this may be a minor complaint) the boards can become visually cluttered quickly if more than a few users are inputting content at the same time; i’m not aware of any method to clear the board of content in less than individual item-by-item movement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

So the main thing for me is that not everybody wants to speak in front of others in a group setting, and Miro provides a space for those individuals to offer input/contribute without having to “perform.” shy individuals will make posts; individuals that tend to ramble will make posts; and everyone’s thoughts/ideas are displayed simultaneously rather than only hearing what the loudest voice in the room is saying. It also replaces the whiteboard that would get erased anyhow… why throw away the information you’ve already created when you could maintain access to it later? “Using Rebelle for traditional looking digital painting: an unmatched experience”
What do you like best about Rebelle?

Best software for traditional looking digital painting I´ve ever tried. Period Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rebelle?

I haven´t noticed downsides to Rebelle so far, I was worried about the performance on extra large canvases but everything runs smooth. (Notice: my PC has a ryzen 9900x3d, 64 Gb ddr5 6000 mt/s, an RTX 4070 super and Rebelle is installed on a SSD M.2 Nvme drive, but i do encounter performance issues on other digital painting softwares like CSP or PS when using huge canvas/resolutions and demanding brushes at big sizes) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rebelle solving and how is that benefiting you?

I love making digital paintings or drawings that look traditional and I always find flaws on the way it works on other programs, Like PS bevel and emboss function on custom brushes with various overlay and under textures works decent, but i does still look digital, plus it is quite complicated and consists of a lot of trial and error, fine tunning, very heavy files and dealing with lag. Rebelle solves that achieving way better results with no time wasted and 0 lag issues Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Canva Makes Polished Visuals Fast with Templates, Brand Kits, and Easy Collaboration”
What do you like best about Canva?

What I like about Canva is how it help me quickly create polished visuals without depending on a design team. In my corporate role I often prepare client decks, internal reports and quick marketing creatives and the ease of use makes this process very smooth. The ease of implementation is great since I can start working instantly from the browser. It offers a wide number of features like drag and drop editing, templates, brand kits and collaboration tools. Because of my daily design needs my frequency of use is very high. The ease of integration with cloud storage and sharing platforms makes collaboration easier. Also whenever I needed help the tutorials and customer support were quite useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canva?

One thing i have noticed is that while there are many free resources some of the best design elements and templates require a paid subscription. Also sometimes aligning elements perfectly can take a bit of manual adjustments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?

Canva solves the problem of creating professional quality design quickly without needing advanced design skills. In my corporate work I use it to build presentations, social media creatives and internal communication materials. This saves time and helps me deliver visually appealing content without relying on external designers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Beginner-Friendly Templates and AI Tools That Speed Up Creative Work”
What do you like best about Adobe Express?

It’s very beginner-friendly and quick to use you don’t need any prior design experience to get started nor do you need to expertise to be able to fully use it. The templates are a big advantage, you can just pick a template, make small edits, and you’re good to go, as I have to make a number of creatives so these come in quite handy. It also has AI features (like text to image, background removal and background editing), which help speed up work. Overall it is a really good tool especially for social media posts, posters, or basic creatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Express?

So as I have been using adobe photoshop, express doesn’t give much control compared to it, to what I feel customization options are somewhat limited. After a point, many designs can start looking similar because a lot depends on templates. Also, some features and assets are locked behind paid plans, which can feel restrictive if you’re using it regularly. For advanced editing or detailed work, it’s not the right tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Express solving and how is that benefiting you?

So mainly it solves my problem of creating quick and decent looking content without spending too much time or effort. Instead of designing everything from scratch, I can create social media posts, ads, or basic visuals within minutes. It is especially useful when speed matters more than perfection or deep customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Essential for High-End Excursion Websites”
What do you like best about Recraft?

What I like best is how Recraft handles image-to-image generation. Since I need to create visuals based on real-world locations, it’s an invaluable tool for maintaining accuracy while achieving a modern aesthetic. It’s incredibly intuitive, and the fact that you can explore its powerful features for free is a huge plus for any creator. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Recraft?

What I dislike is that it sometimes requires excessive prompt engineering to get the desired result. Reaching the exact outcome can take a lot of trial and error and very detailed descriptions, which can be time-consuming when you are looking for high precision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Recraft solving and how is that benefiting you?

Recraft solves the problem of creating high-quality hero images for travel websites, where visual accuracy of landmarks is essential. It helps me transform real-world photos into stunning assets while keeping destinations recognizable and applying a modern aesthetic. “Easy and Reliable for the Creative Workflow”
What do you like best about Procreate?

My favorite thing about Procreate is how easy it is to use and how seamlessly it fits into my creative workflow. I can rely on it for quick sketches as well as high-quality finished pieces, and I end up using Procreate at some point in every project. It’s also been consistently reliable for me. I’ve never run into any software issues that even required reaching out to their support team. Overall, it’s a great tool, and I’d recommend it to any artist. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Procreate?

It’s hard for me to think of any real downsides to Procreate. The one thing I do wish it had is some kind of vector mode. I realize that isn’t really what Procreate is intended for, but it could still be useful in certain situations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Procreate solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Adobe InDesign?

Adobe InDesign as everyone knows is a part of the Adobe Creative Suite, the best tools for all aspects of creative creation on the market at a reasonable price, and InDesign is in my opinion the best print/online publishing tool out there. I used to be an advocate for Quark Xpress, but InDesign has surpassed this software, its integration with the other Adobe Suite tools helps provide a seamless set of solution for my workflow. What do you dislike about SVGator?

I find it a bit overwhelming for my use. The first approach to SVGator is a bit overwhelming because you see the timeline, see the right side part, and there's a lot of information. “Super useful for teams working with complex databases”
What do you like best about ChartDB?

We’ve been using ChartDB as part of our workflow for around 6 months now, and it’s become one of those tools we didn’t know we needed until we had it. It lets our team instantly turn SQL schemas into clean, understandable diagrams, perfect for onboarding new engineers and planning database changes. We often share the ER diagram before granting access to the actual database, which really improves context and security. The live collaboration is smooth (feels a bit like Figma but for databases), and we’ve used it regularly in internal design reviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChartDB?

Nothing major. Early on, there were some limitations with schema filtering and support for larger tables, but the team has been super responsive and shipped fixes quickly. One thing still on our wishlist is better versioning support, though the current setup already works well for most of our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ChartDB solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps us quickly generate and share clear ER diagrams with the team, which is especially useful during onboarding and planning changes. Before ChartDB, we’d waste time explaining schemas manually or digging through SQL. Now we just share a link to the diagram, way faster and easier for everyone to understand what’s going on. “Bought it. Didn't think I'd use it.”
What do you like best about SketchWow?

I knew I wanted to buy SketchWow based on the promotions I received from the company. They were all made with SketchWow. But I foresaw a problem: I was managing partner of a New York advertising agency staffed with art directors and an art studio that employed 8 smart, talented people. It was my secret wish to have the talent to draw and sketch like those men and women.

But, alas, I'd never be like any of them. I'm "left hemisphere." Besides, they were at my beck & call to illustrate and sketch the decks we'd build for the agency's pitches.

So, what the heck, I bought and installed it anyway. Of course, it "sat" silent in my PC for weeks. But I came into the office (O often used as my "classroom") one day for the sole purpose of learning to use SketchWow. Ideas came to me, but a fully functional working grasp was elusive. Determined to learn, I kept at it, and by the end of that Saturday, I felt I "got it." I was able to use SketchWow! And I now use it for almost every pitch deck we make.

I've since "retired" but have gone off on my own. And I can draw/sketch/illustrate or whatever you want to call what the software does! (Can you tell? I'm very pleased with myself!)

I credit SketchWow with the way my pitches and presentations captivate the attention of my prospects and clients. And, as a result, the rate at which my new little one-man agency has grown. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SketchWow?

Though there are great, detailed tutorials, I was late in finding them. But be assured, you'll find them with ease (pro tip: don't multitask).

I'm not certain this is a "dislike," but new features are introduced regularly—brilliant ones! I no longer have an office to drive to use to learn from the tutorials, but I typically have to reserve a Saturday to study the new ones. (It's worth it.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SketchWow solving and how is that benefiting you?

It engages my clients and prospects in my presentations.

It's also fun for me to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Managing Patient Reports, Prescriptions, and Teaching Documents Made Easier”
What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

I handle many patient documents like lab reports, ultrasound reports, and discharge summaries. I use Foxit PDF Editor to open and review these files quickly. It is easy to use, and I was able to start using it without much training.

I often highlight important findings and add short notes while reviewing reports. It is also useful for writing online prescriptions and making small corrections when needed. The merge option helps me combine multiple reports into one file, which makes patient records easier to manage. As a medical educator, I also use it to prepare medical notes and mark important topics for teaching students. I use it regularly during the day, and it works smoothly with other systems we use, so managing files feels simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?

One small issue I notice is when working with scanned patient files that have many pages, sometimes the text is not perfectly clear for selection, so highlighting specific lines can take a little extra effort. This usually happens with older scanned reports.

Also, when I open very large combined patient files, the first loading can take a few extra seconds.

Overall, these are minor issues, and they do not affect my regular work in a big way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Foxit PDF Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?

Earlier, patient reports used to come from different labs and departments in separate files, which made it difficult to review and store them properly. Arranging multiple reports and preparing a complete patient file used to take extra time. Now with Foxit PDF Editor, I can combine different reports into one document, highlight important findings, and make small corrections when needed. It also helps me prepare online prescriptions and keep patient records in proper order. For teaching work, I use it to prepare medical notes and mark important points before sharing with students. Overall, it saves time in daily work and makes document handling more organized and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Effortless Vector Editing with Sketch”
What do you like best about Sketch?

I love Sketch for its simplicity and lightweight feel, making it my go-to editor for vector images. Even though I'm not really an artist or designer, using Sketch is a breeze compared to Figma. I started using Sketch as a replacement for Fireworks, and I’ve stuck with it because it fits my needs perfectly. I appreciate how easy it is to access the basic tools for tasks like light raster image editing, editing SVGs, and recoloring things. Everything I need is extremely easy to access, which makes my workflow very efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketch?

I think maybe the UI with exporting SVGs/PNGs could be updated a little. Even though the UX for this has not changed in the whole time I've used Sketch and I use this feature often, I always end up accidentally exporting a PNG instead of an SVG because of how away the export options are to the button to export. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sketch solving and how is that benefiting you?

“Simple, Fast Diagramming for Clear Flowcharts and System Diagrams”
What do you like best about Whimsical?

I like how fast and simple it is. You can open it and start making a flowchart or wireframe in seconds. No setup, no confusion. The interface is clean and doesn’t feel heavy.

It’s really good for process flows. I use it when I need to explain how something works step by step. The diagrams look neat without putting in too much effort. Alignment and connectors are easy, so things don’t look messy.

Also, sharing with others is simple. Just send a link and people can view or edit. For quick collaboration, it works well.

For straightforward diagrams, it does exactly what you need without distractions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Whimsical?

It feels a bit limited once work gets bigger. For small diagrams it’s perfect, but for larger planning or brainstorming sessions, the canvas feels restrictive.

It’s more of a diagram tool than a full collaboration space. When discussions go beyond flows into planning, tracking, or workshops, we had to use other tools.

Template options are also fewer compared to some other platforms, so sometimes we had to build layouts from scratch.

Basically great for simple visuals, but not ideal for large cross-team collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Whimsical solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps turn discussions into visuals quickly. When we talk about processes or system flows, people often understand differently. Drawing it out in Whimsical clears things up fast.

I use it during planning talks to map steps and decisions. It helps the team see the full picture instead of just hearing it.

It’s also helpful for sharing knowledge. A diagram is easier for someone new to understand than reading long notes.

So the main benefit is clarity and saving time on explanations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
