“Powerful Tool for Professional Graphic Design”
What do you like best about Adobe Illustrator?

I love Adobe Illustrator because it allows me to create professional logos and vector designs with precision. The designs remain high quality at any size, and the tools make it easy to create clean, creative, and scalable brand identities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Illustrator?

Adobe Illustrator can be a little difficult for beginners, and some advanced tools have a steep learning curve. It can also use a lot of system resources when working with large and complex files. Another limitation is that it is not ideal for creating realistic photo-based mockups, so I often need to use Adobe Photoshop for more advanced and realistic mockup designs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Illustrator solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adobe Illustrator helps me create professional logos, vector graphics, and brand identities with precision and flexibility. It allows me to create scalable designs that maintain high quality at any size, which is essential for branding, printing, packaging, and marketing materials. This saves me time and helps me deliver clean, professional, and high-quality designs to my clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Lucid Simplifies Technical Design and Team Collaboration”
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I mainly use Lucid to document ride request processing and driver matching workflows before development starts. During design reviews, I update architecture diagrams based on team feedback so everyone works from the same design. AI-assisted diagram generation gives us a solid starting point, while comments and real-time collaboration make reviews much faster and reduce back-and-forth discussions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

As our architecture diagrams become larger, navigating different sections can take a little extra time. When several teammates review and update the same document, keeping every component organised sometimes requires manual adjustments. More intelligent auto-layout options and stronger filtering for large diagrams would make technical design reviews even smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?

Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite helps us turn complex system designs into visual documentation that everyone can understand. We use it to map ride request processing, driver matching logic, and service interactions before development begins. Having a shared diagram reduces misunderstandings during design reviews, speeds up technical discussions, and makes it much easier to update architecture as requirements evolve. “Visual architecture mapping and team collaboration with Miro”
What do you like best about Miro?

The infinite canvas provides total freedom for building complex technical diagrams, mapping out application workflows, and organizing system architecture without rigid structural limits. Real-time cursor tracking, interactive sticky notes, and smooth multi-user collaboration make virtual whiteboarding and technical planning sessions feel engaging and efficient across distributed teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

Performance can drop significantly on complex boards with hundreds of objects, causing noticeable lag and slow rendering. Large boards can also become visually chaotic without strict organization, and export options sometimes mess up formatting. The pricing structure can quickly get expensive as you add more full-access team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Miro solves the challenge of distributed team alignment, context switching, and fragmented planning by consolidating disparate technical discussions into a single, real-time visual workspace. By replacing static text documents and isolated whiteboard photos with an infinite, interactive canvas, it bridges the gap between engineering, product, and design teams during complex system architecture reviews and sprint planning. For an engineering workflow, this benefits the team by turning abstract code concepts and system dependencies into clear, intuitive diagrams, significantly cutting down on meeting times, preventing misalignment before implementation begins, and accelerating overall feature delivery. “Rebelle Nails the Feeling of Real Painting with Realistic Brushes & Papers”
What do you like best about Rebelle?

Rebelle's digital tools mimic real-world painting better than any other digital painting software I've used. The UI is intuitive without a bunch of visual bloat. I love that the brush categories are represented visually as the tools themselves (a pencil for pencils, a pastel stick for the pastels, and ink nib pen for inks, etc.). The default art brush selection is also robust. They offer the ability to easily paint with different mediums without having to go search elsewhere for third-party brushes.

The base papers are incredible. They hand-make them, then scan them and their texture height maps. Your digital paint interacts with the actual digital paper fibers, making all your strokes feel more unique.

I've used Rebelle for years through multiple versions, and I've always felt like it's been worth the cost. I've been able to utilize it in a number of my professional projects and commissions.

It also allows you to work within smaller art files and export at larger dimensions for printing with their nano-pixel export capabilities. If you're a Photoshop user, there's also a plugin extension that allows an "export to Photoshop" connection.

Their version updates are always thoughtful and useful, I think in part because they really pay attention to community feedback and requests in their support forums. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rebelle?

Something I find myself missing in Rebelle is the ability to turn on top and side rulers to help me easily add visual guides right where I want them. I prep print files that need bleed and margins, so I like to have a visual full-document ruler to quickly check those measurements. They have a ruler tool, which you can draw lines with and measure specific sections, but I'd love a static, full-document ruler I could toggle on and off, which I don't think is an option in my current version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rebelle solving and how is that benefiting you?

I paint traditionally (particularly with acrylics, watercolors, and inks), and the digital painting software options that I used before Rebelle never felt quite comparable to the real thing. When I first saw how Rebelle handled watercolor diffusion on the paper and the ability to control water amounts, it blew me away. It felt so much closer to real-life watercolors. For the oil and acrylic brushes, the ability to get visible, individual hair textures to show up in your digital brush strokes always feels like magic. Rebelle lets me capture real-life painting textures in the digital space like no other program I've used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Canva: Empowering Everyday Creativity for Individuals and Businesses.”
What do you like best about Canva?

Canva stands out for its ease of use and quick implementation—you can start designing within minutes without needing professional skills. The number of features is impressive, from templates and stock elements to AI-powered tools, making it versatile for everything from social posts to presentations. I also appreciate the ease of integration with other platforms, like Google Drive and social media, which streamlines publishing. Customer support is generally responsive, and the platform’s frequency of use is high because it’s reliable for everyday design needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canva?

While it’s fantastic for quick designs, it doesn’t offer the same depth or flexibility as professional tools when working on very detailed or complex projects. Integration is smooth but not always perfect with certain third-party apps, and support, while helpful, can sometimes take longer for complex issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?

For me, the benefit is clear: it saves time, reduces costs, and empowers creativity. As an individual, I can quickly design social posts or presentations without technical skills, and from a business perspective, it helps produce consistent branding and professional-looking content without needing a full design team. “Adobe Express: Effortless Templates for Fast, Professional Designs”
What do you like best about Adobe Express?

What I like most about Adobe Express is its ease of use and professionally designed templates. It allows me to create high-quality graphics, social media posts, presentations, and marketing materials without requiring advanced design skills. Large collection of ready-to-use templates for different content types. Simple drag-and-drop editor that makes designing quick and intuitive. Access to Adobe's stock assets, fonts, and icons. One-click resizing for different social media platforms. Cloud-based editing that allows projects to be accessed from anywhere. For me, the most valuable feature is the template library. Instead of starting every design from scratch, I can customize professionally designed templates to match my needs, which saves a significant amount of time while maintaining a polished look. The biggest benefit is productivity. Adobe Express enables me to create professional-quality visuals quickly, making it ideal for marketing content, presentations, and business communications without the complexity of traditional design software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Express?

The biggest limitation is creative flexibility. Adobe Express is excellent for fast content creation, but for highly customized or professional-grade graphic design, I still need to switch to more advanced design software.Large projects with many elements may occasionally feel less responsive. More advanced layer management and design controls would benefit experienced users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Express solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adobe Express solves the problem of creating professional-looking visual content without requiring advanced graphic design skills or complex software. It enables users to quickly produce marketing materials, social media posts, presentations, and promotional graphics through an intuitive interface. Reduces the time required to create high-quality visual content. Makes graphic design accessible to non-designers. Provides ready-made templates for various business and marketing needs. “High-Quality Vector Graphics From Text Prompts—Fast and Easy”
What do you like best about Recraft?

What I like most about Recraft is its ability to generate high-quality vector graphics, illustrations, icons, and images from simple text prompts. Unlike many AI image tools that focus only on raster images, Recraft excels at creating editable design assets that are suitable for branding, marketing, and UI projects. Generates both vector and raster graphics with impressive quality. Excellent for creating icons, logos, illustrations, and marketing visuals. Easy-to-use interface with fast image generation. Consistent design styles that make it easier to build cohesive visual assets. Supports editing and refining generated artwork without starting over. For me, the most valuable feature is the vector graphic generation. Being able to create scalable, editable assets directly from text prompts saves a significant amount of design time compared to recreating them manually. The biggest benefit is improved productivity. Recraft helps me rapidly produce professional-quality graphics for presentations, websites, social media, and marketing materials, allowing me to iterate on ideas much faster than with traditional design workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Recraft?

The biggest drawback is output consistency. While Recraft produces high-quality graphics, I sometimes need multiple iterations to get the exact layout, colors, or visual style I'm aiming for. Generating the exact style or composition often requires several prompt refinements. Complex illustrations can occasionally contain inconsistent details or design elements that need manual adjustment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Recraft solving and how is that benefiting you?

Recraft solves the challenge of creating professional-quality graphics, illustrations, and vector assets without spending hours designing them manually. It enables users to generate editable visuals from text prompts, making the design process much faster and more accessible. Creates vector graphics, icons, illustrations, and marketing visuals in minutes. Eliminates the need to start designs from a blank canvas. Produces scalable, editable assets suitable for websites, presentations, and branding. Speeds up brainstorming by generating multiple design concepts quickly. Reduces dependency on manual design work for routine creative tasks. In my workflow, Recraft helps me create visuals for presentations, marketing materials, website graphics, and product concepts much more efficiently. Instead of spending time building every asset manually, I can generate a strong starting point and refine it as needed. The biggest benefit is faster design iteration and higher productivity. Recraft shortens the time from idea to finished visual, allowing me to experiment with different concepts and produce high-quality creative assets with much less effort. “Adobe InDesign Makes Complex Layouts Easier to Manage”
What do you like best about Adobe InDesign?

What I like best about Adobe InDesign is how well it handles structured page layouts and keeps everything organized. The interface takes some time to get familiar with, but once the basic tools and panels are understood, creating brochures, reports, presentations, and other multi-page documents feels very controlled. I also like the precision when working with text, spacing, grids, margins, and alignment. Its connection with other Adobe applications is useful when a project involves Photoshop or Illustrator assets, and the overall performance is reliable for typical design work. The main advantage for me is the level of control it gives over the final layout without making the workflow feel cluttered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe InDesign?

The biggest downside for me is the learning curve. The interface has a lot of panels, tools, and settings, so it can feel overwhelming when you are still learning the workflow. Some basic tasks also take more steps than I would expect. The subscription pricing can be difficult to justify for occasional users, especially if they only need InDesign for a few projects. Integrating it with other Adobe apps is useful, but moving between applications and managing linked assets can sometimes add extra work. The AI features are improving, but they are not the main reason I use InDesign, and I would still prefer more straightforward guidance for some newer features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe InDesign solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adobe InDesign helps me solve the challenge of creating and maintaining professional multi-page layouts in a consistent way. It makes it easier to manage text, images, margins, spacing, and page structure, especially when a document needs frequent revisions. The integration with Photoshop and Illustrator is useful when I need to bring in graphics from other Adobe tools, and the performance is generally reliable for regular design work.

The onboarding and support experience could be more beginner-friendly, though. There are a lot of tools and settings to learn, so clearer guidance and simpler explanations for new users would make the initial learning process easier. The AI features can be useful for certain tasks, but I still see them as an additional convenience rather than the main solution. Overall, InDesign benefits me by giving me better control over complex layouts and reducing the manual effort involved in keeping larger documents organized. “Super useful for teams working with complex databases”
What do you like best about ChartDB?

We’ve been using ChartDB as part of our workflow for around 6 months now, and it’s become one of those tools we didn’t know we needed until we had it. It lets our team instantly turn SQL schemas into clean, understandable diagrams, perfect for onboarding new engineers and planning database changes. We often share the ER diagram before granting access to the actual database, which really improves context and security. The live collaboration is smooth (feels a bit like Figma but for databases), and we’ve used it regularly in internal design reviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChartDB?

Nothing major. Early on, there were some limitations with schema filtering and support for larger tables, but the team has been super responsive and shipped fixes quickly. One thing still on our wishlist is better versioning support, though the current setup already works well for most of our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ChartDB solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps us quickly generate and share clear ER diagrams with the team, which is especially useful during onboarding and planning changes. Before ChartDB, we’d waste time explaining schemas manually or digging through SQL. Now we just share a link to the diagram, way faster and easier for everyone to understand what’s going on. The setup was simple and hassle-free, with quick installation and an easy-to-navigate interface, allowing me to start working on projects without much difficulty. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Designer?

File compatibility can sometimes require a few extra adjustments when enhancing projects with clients or collaborators who use Adobe software. I would like clearer guidance on export settings and color management. Sometimes the exported file doesn't perfectly match what I see in the application in terms of colors and quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Affinity Designer solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest advantage for me is that I don't have to spend much time arranging every element from scratch. The templates provide a good starting point, and the editor is simple enough to make quick changes. It works well for infographics, presentations, and reports where clarity is more important than complex design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Venngage?

“Instant, Crash-Free Viewing for Massive Vector Sheet Sets with Precise Scale Tools”
What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

I rely on Foxit to open and render heavy, 200+ page vector sheet sets instantly during high-stakes client reviews, without lag or crashes. Its millimeter-precise scale calibration and fast layer isolation make it easy to verify spatial clearances, while also cutting our software overhead in half. It plugs cleanly into our CAD and BIM pipelines, handling direct vector plots from Revit without stripping embedded layer metadata or altering drawing scales.

Cloud sync across SharePoint and BIM 360 is reliable, letting us push updated markups to field teams instantly without file-locking headaches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?

The ribbon menu tends to get bloated when I’m working with heavy markups, which makes it clumsy to switch quickly between scale calibration and the standard callout tools.

On dense CAD exports, vector endpoint snapping can also feel sticky at times. Tightening up that precision engine and adding context-sensitive toolbars would go a long way toward smoothing out the overall drawing review workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Foxit PDF Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?

It eliminates the rendering lag we used to hit on massive 500-page drawing sets, so we can run real-time redline sessions with clients without the system crashing. On top of that, it has cut our firm’s software overhead in half while still giving every junior architect access to full scale calibration and the vector tools they need. I have been looking for a tool to animate vector graphics without relying on code, and SVGator has been a good solution. I like how intuitive its interface is; it feels very natural to work with timelines and keyframes, similar to tools like After Effects or Figma. The learning curve is not as steep as I expected, and in a few days, you can create cool animations. I also love the precision it offers in animating to control specific details. Exporting optimized images saves a lot of time, especially for web projects. Additionally, I really appreciate the transformation tools and the overall ease of use. The initial setup was quite easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SVGator?

“Smart shapes and templates help a lot when I need to diagram something quickly”
What do you like best about Creately?

I start using Creately for simple diagrams, but it quickly becomes useful for a lot more than that: API flows, internal process maps, architecture diagrams, UML, technical customer journeys, and visual documentation to explain changes before we build them. I can start from a template, drag a few elements around, connect the different parts of the system, and have something clear enough to share with the team pretty quickly. The templates and smart shapes save me a lot of time because I do not have to start from a blank canvas or spend too much time making the diagram look clean. Creately helps keep the structure organized without making me feel like I need to be a designer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Creately?

I have a good experience with Creately because it does what I need it to do: create diagrams quickly, collaborate visually, and make complex ideas easier to explain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Creately solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before development even starts, product is thinking about the user flow, backend is focused on events, frontend is considering screen states, and support wants to know what happens when something fails. We open Creately and map out the entire flow: what happens when the user starts the action, which service receives the request, what validations run, which errors can appear, and what message the user should see in each case. Halfway through the session, we often spot an intermediate state where the user could be left waiting without knowing whether the process failed or is still pending. Catching that early lets us adjust the design before writing any code, so we avoid building an incomplete experience. That’s where Creately becomes genuinely useful for me: it doesn’t just help us draw what we already know, it helps us uncover the parts of the workflow we haven’t fully thought through yet. “Quick, Uncluttered Way to Organize Ideas with Whimsical”
What do you like best about Whimsical?

Whimsical has been helpful whenever I need to organize ideas before starting the actual work. I mostly use it to create simple flowcharts, wireframes, and process maps because everything feels quick and uncluttered. The interface is easy to understand, so I can focus on explaining ideas instead of learning the tool. Sharing a board with others is also straightforward, which makes discussions much smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Whimsical?

It works really well for small and medium-sized projects, but larger boards can become difficult to manage. I would also like to see more customization options for templates and design elements, especially when creating detailed workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Whimsical solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Whimsical to turn rough ideas into visual diagrams before moving to design or development. Instead of long explanations, I can map workflows, user journeys, or page structures that everyone understands quickly. It reduces confusion during discussions, speeds up planning, and makes it easier to collect feedback before the final work begins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Comprehensive Creatively in my Hand”
What do you like best about Sketchbook?

I love the different color options in Sketchbook as they make me more expressive with my art and help bring my artwork to life. It's also great that I can use it across my mobile devices because a lot of other software doesn't allow me to be as creative. Plus, setting it up was very easy for me since I just had to download the app, and being familiar with it made navigating around it simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sketchbook?

What could be improved is, like, the different brush sizes and, like, the usability, you know, because, like, I have to select from the brush sizes, and, like, that could have been more intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sketchbook solving and how is that benefiting you?
