“Long-term reliable tool for professional logo and vector design”
What do you like best about Adobe Illustrator?

What I like best about Adobe Illustrator is the flexibility it gives while creating vector graphics and logos. I’ve been using it since 2014, and for professional design work it still feels one of the most reliable tools. The pen tool, typography controls, layers, and artboards make it easy to handle both simple and detailed projects. I mostly use it for logo and banner design, and the best part is that the designs stay sharp in any size without losing quality. Once you get comfortable with the workflow, designing becomes very smooth and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Illustrator?

One thing I didn’t like in the beginning was the learning curve. Some tools, especially the pen tool and anchor point editing, can feel confusing for new users. Also, when working on very heavy files with lots of effects or multiple artboards, performance can slow down a bit on older systems. Other than that, I haven’t faced any major issues because overall the software has been reliable for my daily design work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Illustrator solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adobe Illustrator helps me create professional vector graphics for logo design, banners, branding materials, and print work without worrying about quality loss. Before using it, making scalable designs and editing complex graphics used to take much more time. With Illustrator, I can easily customize shapes, typography, colors, and layouts according to different client requirements.

It also improves my workflow because I can manage multiple design variations in a single file using artboards and layers. Since I work individually, having everything organized in one place saves a lot of time during revisions. The biggest benefit for me is that the final designs remain sharp and professional whether they are used on social media, websites, or large-size printing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Easy to Use with a Smooth, Quick Account Registration”
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

How easy it is to use and register your account Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

What I find most challenging about the Lucid Suite is the occasional performance slowdown on highly complex, data-heavy enterprise boards. Additionally, while the integration between Lucidchart and Lucidspark is helpful, navigating the shifting UI between formal diagramming and casual whiteboarding can take some getting used to for new team members. However, I’ve found that establishing clean folder structures and breaking massive boards into smaller, linked documents usually mitigates the performance issues Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?

What problems is it solving?

In a technical support environment, explaining complex workflows—like DNS troubleshooting, escalation paths, or billing procedures—using only text-heavy manuals is inefficient and leads to information overload. Furthermore, aligning remote teams on process updates can be difficult without a shared visual space.

How is that benefiting you?

Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite allows us to map out highly complex L1 troubleshooting flows into clear, easy-to-follow decision trees and diagrams. This directly benefits me as a trainer by accelerating new hire onboarding and reducing 'speed to competency.' Agents can visually trace a problem to its solution rather than reading paragraphs of text, which standardizes our processes and reduces unnecessary ticket escalations. “Consistent Updates, Powerful AI, and Top-Tier Collaboration”
What do you like best about Miro?

There is consistent updates that improve the performance, including developing AI that make creating effective products easy. All it takes is selecting the data and giving the prompt for Miro to takeover. The collaboration aspect is top tier, with multiple colleagues working together at once Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

As of late, it has been running a lot slower - text is delayed when typing, sometimes the screen will freeze and be unworkable, etc. Previously we only had this issue with large groups working in a large board, but now I can be at home and in a call with one other person and it is lagging and causing confusion or rework when things aren't working. The table feature could also use improvement. being able to customize and add visualization tools would enhance this feature and make it more effective for our uses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being a highly virtual company, being able to have a whiteboard that multiple users can work on makes the collaboration very strong. It also keeps the information needed digital, as it is sometimes used across multiple spaces and eliminates duplication and wasteful paper sticky notes. Having a record of notes, drafts, brainstorms, etc. + pre-made or reusable templates has been beneficial for traceability and consistency Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Rebelle 7 Pro: Unmatched Realistic Natural Media in an Intuitive, Smooth Experience”
What do you like best about Rebelle?

I started using Rebelle 7 Pro because it offers an unmatched, realistic emulation of natural art media (watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel, etc.), including believable interaction with the digital paper, canvas, or painting ground. The cost of owning it is very reasonable compared to other software that offers almost the same features.

It’s built in a very intuitive way for a traditional artist like me, so a steep learning curve is basically non-existent. I love the interface and the overall user experience it provides. The software runs smoothly and rarely bugs out.

I also like that I can easily export to PSD format if I ever want to do extra adjustments using Photoshop or Affinity Photo tools. That makes it highly compatible with most major image manipulation software. The integrated timelapse feature is great as well, and I love how the recording system works—specifically, that it only records the strokes. This makes it possible for me to leave recording on without worrying that a steady frame will record nothing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rebelle?

The digital papers are actually expensive compared to the production cost of making these digital papers. I wish they increase more the number of colors from an image. The current maximum number of colors generated from image feels very limiting. I wish there is also a way to save workspace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rebelle solving and how is that benefiting you?

I’m a traditional artist. Even though I’ve used Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Sketchbook, Corel Painter, ArtRage, and others, none of them really gave me that traditional feel when drawing or painting. Rebelle is the one that finally gave me the traditional experience I’d been looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Canva Makes Design Fast and Easy with Intuitive Templates and Collaboration”
What do you like best about Canva?

What I like best about Canva is how easy it makes designing even for people without professional graphic design experience. The drag-and-drop interface is very intuitive, and the huge collection of templates, fonts, icons, and design elements helps create presentations, posters, social media posts, and other content quickly.

The most helpful part is how much time it saves. Instead of starting designs from scratch, Canva provides ready-made templates that can be customized in minutes. It also works well for collaboration, and the cloud-based access makes it convenient to edit projects from different devices without losing progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canva?

One thing I don’t like about Canva is that some of the best templates, graphics, and features are locked behind the Pro subscription, so the free version can feel a bit limited at times. It’s great for quick and simple designs, but for more advanced editing or highly customized work, it can sometimes feel restrictive compared to professional software. I’ve also noticed that larger projects can occasionally lag, especially on slower devices or internet connections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?

Canva helps solve the problem of creating professional-looking designs quickly without needing advanced graphic design skills or expensive software. It makes it easy to create presentations, posters, social media content, and other visual materials in a much shorter time. The biggest benefit is improved productivity, since designs that would normally take hours can be completed in minutes using templates and drag-and-drop tools. It also makes collaboration easier because projects can be shared and edited online from different devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Recraft?

It's Beginner user friendly and cost effective ,Palette-locked vectors save me hours, and the style consistency is unmatched. Chinese and Swahili text renders cleanly, and it has the best AI background removal I’ve used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Recraft?

Recraft excels at vector generation, brand consistency, and text rendering, but its operational instability, credit model, and support infrastructure create genuine professional risk. If you rely on it for deadline-driven client work, it’s wise to keep backup tools on hand and document any service failures as they occur. The platform’s technical capabilities are impressive when everything is functioning properly, yet the gap between benchmark performance and day-to-day reliability still feels significant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Recraft solving and how is that benefiting you?

Recraft’s brand consistency and multilingual capabilities directly support how I position myself as a culturally fluent content creator. Being able to produce polished, consistent visuals quickly helps me prototype podcast concepts, pitch subscription channel ideas, and maintain academic-level visual standards without hiring a designer. That keeps my bootstrapped ventures lean while still looking established. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Fast, Professional Designs with Templates and an Easy Drag-and-Drop UI”
What do you like best about Adobe Express?

what I like most about Adobe Express is how quickly it helps me create professional looking content without needing strong design skills. I've used it for social media posts, banners, presentations, and quick promotional visuals when i need something ready fast.

The drag and drop interface is easy to use, and the templates saves a lot if time compared to starting from scratch. I also find the resize feature really useful for adapting content across different paltforms. Overall, it's a convenient tool for handling everyday design tasks quickly in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Express?

One limitation I've noticed with adobe express is that while it's great for quick design work, it can feel a bit limiting for more detailed customization or complex layouts. for advanced editing, I sometime need to switch to another tool,

I've also seen occasional slowdowns when working with larger projects or multiple assets. The free version is useful, but having access to a few more templates or features without upgrading would make the experience better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Express solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Adobe Express, creating quick visuals for presentations, social media, or promotional content usually took more time because I had to either design things manually or switch between different tools.

Adobe Express makes that process much faster by bringing templates, simple editing, and resizing tools into one place. It’s especially helpful for quick design tasks or last-minute updates, where speed matters.

A big benefit for me is that I can create clean, professional-looking visuals without needing advanced design skills, which makes everyday content creation much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Easy and Reliable for the Creative Workflow”
What do you like best about Procreate?

My favorite thing about Procreate is how easy it is to use and how seamlessly it fits into my creative workflow. I can rely on it for quick sketches as well as high-quality finished pieces, and I end up using Procreate at some point in every project. It’s also been consistently reliable for me. I’ve never run into any software issues that even required reaching out to their support team. Overall, it’s a great tool, and I’d recommend it to any artist. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Procreate?

It’s hard for me to think of any real downsides to Procreate. The one thing I do wish it had is some kind of vector mode. I realize that isn’t really what Procreate is intended for, but it could still be useful in certain situations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“The Tool I Use When Canva or PowerPoint Is Not Enough”
What do you like best about Adobe InDesign?

Adobe InDesign gives me the most control when I need marketing materials to look polished, professional, and brand-consistent. I use it most often for flyers, event collateral, signage, multi-page documents, and other print-ready pieces that need to feel more elevated than something built in PowerPoint or Canva.

The biggest value for me is the precision. Tools like master pages, paragraph styles, linked assets, grids, and exact image placement make it easier to keep everything consistent across multiple pages or different versions of the same piece. It definitely has a learning curve, but once you understand the workspace, it can save a lot of time and helps the final product look much more intentional.

I also like how well it connects with the rest of Adobe Creative Cloud. Being able to build or edit assets in Illustrator or Photoshop and then bring them into InDesign to finalize the layout makes the overall workflow much smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe InDesign?

Adobe InDesign is a powerful tool, but it definitely comes with a learning curve. The interface can feel intimidating at first, especially if you are not using it every day or if you are switching back and forth between InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Some tools are not as intuitive as they could be, and even simple tasks can take a few extra steps until you figure out the right workflow.

I also find that linked files, packaging, and export settings can be frustrating when everything is not organized properly from the start. It is easy to end up with missing links, font issues, or PDF settings that require troubleshooting before a file is truly ready to share or send to print.

Overall, my biggest dislike is that InDesign is not always beginner-friendly. It is worth learning, but at times it can feel overly technical compared to faster drag-and-drop tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe InDesign solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adobe InDesign helps me create polished, brand-consistent materials that need more structure and precision than PowerPoint or Canva typically allow. Before I started using InDesign, it was much more difficult to build multi-page layouts, print-ready pieces, or event collateral that looked truly professional and stayed consistent from page to page.

Now I can produce flyers, signage, event materials, sales collateral, and PDF documents with much better control over layout, typography, spacing, and image placement. Features like master pages, paragraph styles, and linked assets make it easier to keep everything aligned and consistent, especially when I’m maintaining or updating multiple versions of the same piece.

It also improves my workflow because it integrates smoothly with Illustrator and Photoshop. I can create or refine assets in those programs and then use InDesign as the final layout tool, which saves time and leads to a more polished end result. From an ROI perspective, it reduces the need to outsource simpler design or layout projects and helps me produce professional materials faster in-house. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Super useful for teams working with complex databases”
What do you like best about ChartDB?

We’ve been using ChartDB as part of our workflow for around 6 months now, and it’s become one of those tools we didn’t know we needed until we had it. It lets our team instantly turn SQL schemas into clean, understandable diagrams, perfect for onboarding new engineers and planning database changes. We often share the ER diagram before granting access to the actual database, which really improves context and security. The live collaboration is smooth (feels a bit like Figma but for databases), and we’ve used it regularly in internal design reviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChartDB?

Nothing major. Early on, there were some limitations with schema filtering and support for larger tables, but the team has been super responsive and shipped fixes quickly. One thing still on our wishlist is better versioning support, though the current setup already works well for most of our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ChartDB solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps us quickly generate and share clear ER diagrams with the team, which is especially useful during onboarding and planning changes. Before ChartDB, we’d waste time explaining schemas manually or digging through SQL. Now we just share a link to the diagram, way faster and easier for everyone to understand what’s going on. What do you like best about SVGator?

I have been looking for a tool to animate vector graphics without relying on code, and SVGator has been a good solution. I like how intuitive its interface is; it feels very natural to work with timelines and keyframes, similar to tools like After Effects or Figma. The learning curve is not as steep as I expected, and in a few days, you can create cool animations. I also love the precision it offers in animating to control specific details. Exporting optimized images saves a lot of time, especially for web projects. Additionally, I really appreciate the transformation tools and the overall ease of use. The initial setup was quite easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SVGator?

Well, I think the fluency in some aspects of using the tools could be improved a little, but I understand, since it's a tool that they are iterating, it will improve over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

The UI did feel a little overwhelming at first, but it's very similar to the office ribbon layout, so I quickly adapted it. We use Foxit as an MSP and find it fits our and our customers' needs at a fair price point.

I've had no performance issues at all. It's easy to set up and install. The administration can be a little more complex, but nothing that those used to products can't handle.

There are some AI integrations to Foxit that work well such as the auto redaction, though this isn't something I have used personally I have seen customers use it and they seemed very happy at the end result. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Simple, Fast Diagramming for Clear Flowcharts and System Diagrams”
What do you like best about Whimsical?

I like how fast and simple it is. You can open it and start making a flowchart or wireframe in seconds. No setup, no confusion. The interface is clean and doesn’t feel heavy.

It’s really good for process flows. I use it when I need to explain how something works step by step. The diagrams look neat without putting in too much effort. Alignment and connectors are easy, so things don’t look messy.

Also, sharing with others is simple. Just send a link and people can view or edit. For quick collaboration, it works well.

For straightforward diagrams, it does exactly what you need without distractions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Whimsical?

It feels a bit limited once work gets bigger. For small diagrams it’s perfect, but for larger planning or brainstorming sessions, the canvas feels restrictive.

It’s more of a diagram tool than a full collaboration space. When discussions go beyond flows into planning, tracking, or workshops, we had to use other tools.

Template options are also fewer compared to some other platforms, so sometimes we had to build layouts from scratch.

Basically great for simple visuals, but not ideal for large cross-team collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Whimsical solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps turn discussions into visuals quickly. When we talk about processes or system flows, people often understand differently. Drawing it out in Whimsical clears things up fast.

I use it during planning talks to map steps and decisions. It helps the team see the full picture instead of just hearing it.

It’s also helpful for sharing knowledge. A diagram is easier for someone new to understand than reading long notes.

So the main benefit is clarity and saving time on explanations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Shorthand?

I find Shorthand very easy, accessible, and creative. It's interesting how it allows me to add amazing features to my stories, transforming what could have been just a PDF file with text into an amazing story with little effort. I love how Shorthand makes my stories more interactive and immersive. It elevates the whole experience by bringing together text, video, and audio to tell an important story. I think it cuts a lot of work and has definitely made things efficient in our team. The initial setup was very easy and accessible as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shorthand?

One of the biggest issues is that it's expensive for startups or small institutions like us. While big institutions are using it and it's incredible, there should be a way for smaller institutions to integrate it into our website without paying a lot of money. What problems is Shorthand solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Shorthand to turn boring reports into interactive, immersive stories. It brings together text, video, and audio, creating a unique storytelling ecosystem and elevates the experience while making our team more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Powerful Professional Design Tool Without Subscription Fatigue”
What do you like best about Affinity Designer?

What I like most about Affinity Designer is how it combines professional-grade capabilities with speed and simplicity.

A few things really stand out to me. The one-time purchase model means there’s no forced subscription, which many designers appreciate, especially compared with Adobe’s ecosystem. Performance is also extremely smooth, even when I’m working on large artboards or more complex vector files.

The Persona system is another highlight. Being able to switch between Vector, Pixel, and Export workflows within the same app feels genuinely efficient and keeps my process moving. On top of that, the UI is clean and less overwhelming, while still being powerful enough for branding, UI design, illustrations, icons, and social creatives. What do you dislike about Affinity Designer?

Some of the biggest drawbacks people mention about Affinity Designer are less about raw design capability and more about ecosystem maturity and workflow compatibility.

Common frustrations include:

Smaller ecosystem compared to Adobe

- Fewer plugins, integrations, templates, tutorials, and third-party resources.

- Harder to find team workflows built around it.

Collaboration limitations

- Not as seamless for real-time collaboration or developer handoff compared to tools like Figma.

- Can feel isolated in team environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Affinity Designer solving and how is that benefiting you?

Affinity Designer solves several major problems for designers by providing a professional design tool that is fast, affordable, and efficient without relying on expensive subscriptions.

The biggest benefits are:

It removes the burden of recurring monthly costs while still offering professional-grade vector and graphic design capabilities.

It helps create logos, illustrations, UI assets, social creatives, and branding materials in a smooth and lightweight workflow.

The software performs well even on complex projects, which makes the design process feel faster and less frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
