“Flexible Vector Design That Stays Sharp at Any Size”
What do you like best about Adobe Illustrator?

Adobe Illustrator gives me the flexibility to create everything from simple graphics to detailed design work in one place. The vector-based workflow is the biggest advantage because designs stay sharp no matter where they are used. I also find it useful for creating logos, social media graphics, banners, and marketing materials without having to worry about quality issues when resizing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Illustrator?

The learning curve can be challenging for new users because there are many tools and settings to understand. Some tasks that seem simple at first can take time to learn properly. I have also noticed that larger files with many effects or artboards can slow things down on less powerful systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Illustrator solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adobe Illustrator solves the problem of creating professional graphics that can be used across different platforms and sizes without losing quality. Instead of creating separate versions for different uses, I can work from a single design and adapt it for websites, social media, presentations, or print materials. This saves time, keeps branding consistent, and makes revisions much easier. The ability to edit shapes, colors, and typography with precision also helps me produce cleaner and more professional-looking designs with less effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Seamless Lucidspark–Lucidchart Integration Makes Collaboration Fast and Engaging”
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

What I like best is the seamless integration between Lucidspark and Lucidchart. It allows our team to transition instantly from messy, creative brainstorming sessions to highly structured, professional flowcharts. The real-time collaboration features, voting tools, and extensive template library make team alignment faster and much more engaging Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

The pricing structure and licensing model can be quite rigid and expensive for smaller teams or growing businesses. It sometimes feels like you are forced into higher tiers just to get access to a few specific advanced features. Additionally, managing licenses for 'view-only' users versus active editors can occasionally become confusing for administrators Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?

Problems solved: It solves the challenge of team misalignment, scattered ideas, and communication gaps, especially in a remote or hybrid work environment. Before Lucid, brainstorming sessions were disorganized, and documenting them was a chore.

How it benefits me: It provides our team with a centralized "single source of truth." We can now transition seamlessly from messy, creative brainstorming in Lucidspark to structured, professional workflows in Lucidchart. This saves us hours of manual documentation, keeps everyone aligned, and speeds up our decision-making process Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“A Creative, Fast Digital Storyboarding Platform with Convenient Drag-and-Drop”
What do you like best about Miro?

I like how the platform allows for creativity to draw, type a sticky note, etc., it's taking real-life storyboarding and allowing it to be digital, and for remote working and changing. I think it performs well, too. It doesn't take long to load, even with a heavy board, and the drag-and-drop interface is really convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

Pricing, I don't like that some features are paid subscriptions or that there is a cap on how many free boards you are allowed to have. I also think its use of AI for creating isn't very strong, it is good for admin tasks but not for creation of new tables etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

It makes my workflow much faster, and I enjoy that I can bring Miro with me anywhere, on my phone, laptop, or iPad. It's accessible on all platforms and solves the issue of doing physical story boards that can get bulky because of pens, paper, notesbooks sticky notes but with Miro the interfae has everything Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“The Best Natural-Feeling Drawing Program for Sketches, Textures, and Blending”
What do you like best about Rebelle?

As a lover of sketches, clean lines, and graphite pencils, I think this is the best program available today. What I love most are its papers, textures, and how everything feels when I’m drawing. I discovered it by chance in mid-2024 while looking for drawing software that felt natural, and it’s amazing how it has evolved—the sharpness provided by Nanoxipel technology, the way colors blend—all of these are major strengths of this program. I recommend it to anyone who loves traditional art; it feels really good to draw in this program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rebelle?

The only thing is that it doesn't have multi-window support yet; I hope they'll be able to implement it someday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rebelle solving and how is that benefiting you?

The banding issue was something I struggled with a lot in programs like Clip Studio Paint or Krita. In Rebelle, the strokes don't multiply when I lift the pen and draw again in the same area; instead, they build up naturally, just like in real life, which is a huge benefit for me. “Canva Makes Clear Diagrams and Operator Leaflets Easy”
What do you like best about Canva?

Canva is a huge lifesaver if you want to create simple illustrations and information imagery without having advanced design skills. I primarily use it to view technical diagrams, create my own diagrams, develop simple machinery illustrations, and prepare clear information leaflets for operators. It helps me communicate processes and equipment information in a way that's easy for my team to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canva?

The only thing I would like to see improved is a larger collection of engineering and industrial graphics. For technical illustrations, I sometimes need to import custom elements instead of finding them directly in Canva. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?

Canva helps me turn technical information into clear visual that are easier for operators to understand and remember. I use it to create machinery illustrations, process diagrams, and simple information leaflets, which makes instructions easier to follow and reduces the time spent explaining the same procedures repeatedly. It also lets me update or create new materials quickly whenever processes change. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Adobe Express: Effortless Templates for Fast, Professional Designs”
What do you like best about Adobe Express?

What I like most about Adobe Express is its ease of use and professionally designed templates. It allows me to create high-quality graphics, social media posts, presentations, and marketing materials without requiring advanced design skills. Large collection of ready-to-use templates for different content types. Simple drag-and-drop editor that makes designing quick and intuitive. Access to Adobe's stock assets, fonts, and icons. One-click resizing for different social media platforms. Cloud-based editing that allows projects to be accessed from anywhere. For me, the most valuable feature is the template library. Instead of starting every design from scratch, I can customize professionally designed templates to match my needs, which saves a significant amount of time while maintaining a polished look. The biggest benefit is productivity. Adobe Express enables me to create professional-quality visuals quickly, making it ideal for marketing content, presentations, and business communications without the complexity of traditional design software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Express?

The biggest limitation is creative flexibility. Adobe Express is excellent for fast content creation, but for highly customized or professional-grade graphic design, I still need to switch to more advanced design software.Large projects with many elements may occasionally feel less responsive. More advanced layer management and design controls would benefit experienced users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Express solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adobe Express solves the problem of creating professional-looking visual content without requiring advanced graphic design skills or complex software. It enables users to quickly produce marketing materials, social media posts, presentations, and promotional graphics through an intuitive interface. Reduces the time required to create high-quality visual content. Makes graphic design accessible to non-designers. Provides ready-made templates for various business and marketing needs. Simplifies resizing and adapting designs for different platforms. Eliminates the need to start every design from scratch. In my day-to-day work, Adobe Express helps me create social media creatives, website banners, presentations, and promotional materials quickly. The pre-designed templates and drag-and-drop editor allow me to produce polished visuals without spending hours on design. The biggest benefit is efficiency. What do you like best about Recraft?

It's Beginner user friendly and cost effective ,Palette-locked vectors save me hours, and the style consistency is unmatched. Chinese and Swahili text renders cleanly, and it has the best AI background removal I’ve used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Recraft?

Recraft excels at vector generation, brand consistency, and text rendering, but its operational instability, credit model, and support infrastructure create genuine professional risk. If you rely on it for deadline-driven client work, it’s wise to keep backup tools on hand and document any service failures as they occur. The platform’s technical capabilities are impressive when everything is functioning properly, yet the gap between benchmark performance and day-to-day reliability still feels significant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Recraft solving and how is that benefiting you?

Recraft’s brand consistency and multilingual capabilities directly support how I position myself as a culturally fluent content creator. Being able to produce polished, consistent visuals quickly helps me prototype podcast concepts, pitch subscription channel ideas, and maintain academic-level visual standards without hiring a designer. That keeps my bootstrapped ventures lean while still looking established. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Adobe InDesign Makes Professional Layouts Easy and Consistent”
What do you like best about Adobe InDesign?

Adobe InDesign makes it much easier to create professional-looking documents and marketing materials. I especially like how much control it gives over layouts, text formatting, and page design. Once you get familiar with the basics, it becomes a reliable tool for creating brochures, PDFs, flyers, and other multi-page documents while keeping everything organized and consistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe InDesign?

The biggest challenge is the learning curve for new users. Some features are not immediately intuitive, and it can take time to understand the workflow. Managing fonts, linked files, and export settings can also be a little frustrating at times, especially when working on larger projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe InDesign solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adobe InDesign solves the challenge of creating structured and professional layouts for documents that contain a lot of text, images, and design elements. Instead of manually adjusting everything page by page, it helps keep formatting, spacing, and branding consistent throughout a project. For me, this saves time, reduces formatting mistakes, and makes it easier to produce polished documents that are ready for sharing, printing, or presentation. My favorite thing about Procreate is how easy it is to use and how seamlessly it fits into my creative workflow. I can rely on it for quick sketches as well as high-quality finished pieces, and I end up using Procreate at some point in every project. It’s also been consistently reliable for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Procreate?

It’s hard for me to think of any real downsides to Procreate. The one thing I do wish it had is some kind of vector mode. I realize that isn’t really what Procreate is intended for, but it could still be useful in certain situations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Super useful for teams working with complex databases”
What do you like best about ChartDB?

We’ve been using ChartDB as part of our workflow for around 6 months now, and it’s become one of those tools we didn’t know we needed until we had it. It lets our team instantly turn SQL schemas into clean, understandable diagrams, perfect for onboarding new engineers and planning database changes. We often share the ER diagram before granting access to the actual database, which really improves context and security. The live collaboration is smooth (feels a bit like Figma but for databases), and we’ve used it regularly in internal design reviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChartDB?

Nothing major. Early on, there were some limitations with schema filtering and support for larger tables, but the team has been super responsive and shipped fixes quickly. One thing still on our wishlist is better versioning support, though the current setup already works well for most of our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ChartDB solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps us quickly generate and share clear ER diagrams with the team, which is especially useful during onboarding and planning changes. Before ChartDB, we’d waste time explaining schemas manually or digging through SQL. Now we just share a link to the diagram, way faster and easier for everyone to understand what’s going on. I use Affinity Designer for various projects like creating posters, brochures, social media graphics, and vector illustrations. I love that it combines vector, pixel, and layout tasks in one single application, allowing me to handle different types of design work without constantly switching software. It provides smooth performance, even on average hardware, and doesn't have any subscription fees, making it cost-effective. The professional design tools it offers let me create logos, illustrations, marketing materials, and print-ready designs efficiently while maintaining a smooth workflow. The setup was simple and hassle-free, with quick installation and an easy-to-navigate interface, allowing me to start working on projects without much difficulty. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Designer?

File compatibility can sometimes require a few extra adjustments when enhancing projects with clients or collaborators who use Adobe software. I would like clearer guidance on export settings and color management. Sometimes the exported file doesn't perfectly match what I see in the application in terms of colors and quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“The Intuitive Solution for SVG Animations”
What do you like best about SVGator?

I have been looking for a tool to animate vector graphics without relying on code, and SVGator has been a good solution. I like how intuitive its interface is; it feels very natural to work with timelines and keyframes, similar to tools like After Effects or Figma. The learning curve is not as steep as I expected, and in a few days, you can create cool animations. I also love the precision it offers in animating to control specific details. Exporting optimized images saves a lot of time, especially for web projects. Additionally, I really appreciate the transformation tools and the overall ease of use. The initial setup was quite easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SVGator?

“It's been much more than just a PDF Editor in my experience”
What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

At first, I thought Foxit would simply be a good enough alternative to the tool we were using before. After several months, though, I realized that for many tasks it was actually more convenient. The first thing that stood out to me was the performance. I work constantly with technical documentation, contracts, diagrams, specifications, and some pretty large PDF files. Before, opening a large document often meant waiting around. With Foxit, the difference was noticeable from day one. Files open quickly, and the application uses fewer resources than I expected. That smooth experience really adds up when you're opening dozens of PDFs every day. From a UI/UX perspective, it felt familiar almost immediately. Another unexpected benefit was electronic signatures. We originally got Foxit for PDF editing, but we ended up using eSign as well for internal approvals and documents that required signatures. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?

The OCR feature is very good, but it’s not perfect. With low-quality scans or very old documents, we ran into some recognition errors that still needed manual review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Foxit PDF Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our teams work with contracts, proposals, technical documentation, and PDF forms every day. Editing a PDF often meant tracking down the original file, converting scanned documents into editable text was practically a project of its own, and signatures still depended on several manual steps. We decided to test Foxit in one department first. During the first couple of months, we tracked a few internal metrics. What we found was pretty interesting. Tasks related to document editing and corrections were completed about 30% to 40% faster. OCR eliminated a large portion of the manual work we used to do with scanned documents, and document approval processes sped up significantly because many signatures moved to a digital workflow. “Simple, Fast Diagramming for Clear Flowcharts and System Diagrams”
What do you like best about Whimsical?

I like how fast and simple it is. You can open it and start making a flowchart or wireframe in seconds. No setup, no confusion. The interface is clean and doesn’t feel heavy.

It’s really good for process flows. I use it when I need to explain how something works step by step. The diagrams look neat without putting in too much effort. Alignment and connectors are easy, so things don’t look messy.

Also, sharing with others is simple. Just send a link and people can view or edit. For quick collaboration, it works well.

For straightforward diagrams, it does exactly what you need without distractions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Whimsical?

It feels a bit limited once work gets bigger. For small diagrams it’s perfect, but for larger planning or brainstorming sessions, the canvas feels restrictive.

It’s more of a diagram tool than a full collaboration space. When discussions go beyond flows into planning, tracking, or workshops, we had to use other tools.

Template options are also fewer compared to some other platforms, so sometimes we had to build layouts from scratch.

Basically great for simple visuals, but not ideal for large cross-team collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Whimsical solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps turn discussions into visuals quickly. When we talk about processes or system flows, people often understand differently. Drawing it out in Whimsical clears things up fast.

I use it during planning talks to map steps and decisions. It helps the team see the full picture instead of just hearing it.

It’s also helpful for sharing knowledge. A diagram is easier for someone new to understand than reading long notes.

So the main benefit is clarity and saving time on explanations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Smart shapes and templates help a lot when I need to diagram something quickly”
What do you like best about Creately?

I start using Creately for simple diagrams, but it quickly becomes useful for a lot more than that: API flows, internal process maps, architecture diagrams, UML, technical customer journeys, and visual documentation to explain changes before we build them. I can start from a template, drag a few elements around, connect the different parts of the system, and have something clear enough to share with the team pretty quickly. The templates and smart shapes save me a lot of time because I do not have to start from a blank canvas or spend too much time making the diagram look clean. Creately helps keep the structure organized without making me feel like I need to be a designer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Creately?

I have a good experience with Creately because it does what I need it to do: create diagrams quickly, collaborate visually, and make complex ideas easier to explain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Creately solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before development even starts, product is thinking about the user flow, backend is focused on events, frontend is considering screen states, and support wants to know what happens when something fails. We open Creately and map out the entire flow: what happens when the user starts the action, which service receives the request, what validations run, which errors can appear, and what message the user should see in each case. Halfway through the session, we often spot an intermediate state where the user could be left waiting without knowing whether the process failed or is still pending. Catching that early lets us adjust the design before writing any code, so we avoid building an incomplete experience. That’s where Creately becomes genuinely useful for me: it doesn’t just help us draw what we already know, it helps us uncover the parts of the workflow we haven’t fully thought through yet.
