**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

I am using corel draw for the past 3 years and it's a great experience there is a tool of fill and pattern and for me its the best one I used software for drawing but in this I got so many surprising tools like slice, fill, import pdf and edit it.

the only thing I didn't is it's lagging while importing some heavy pdf which contains heavy line drawings and when it contains some splines then it becomes more difficult to edit anything and one more thing that is making group if you want to change the line type.

Its user-friendly interface and tons of features attract me like other users to adopt it as a graphic designer.
CorelDraw can open and alter pretty much any vector workmanship document. Extremely convenient! Furthermore, it can Save As or Export to practically any realistic document design you can imagine! The work area is somewhat less inconvenient than Adobe Illustrator and appears to be more straightforward for me to get around in. I REALLY like the text control instruments that CorelDraw gives! Simple to utilize and exceptionally flexible. Assuming you make custom typography in your plans and craftsmanship, this is an ideal device for you! The fill and stroke apparatuses take a little becoming accustomed to, yet when you know about them, simple.

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2022

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

This tool's quality much surpasses the boundaries of any assessment. No review, in my opinion, can do it justice. Since I started using this program, my design team has been more productive. A raster picture may be easily converted to a vector design using CorelDraw. The dynamic asset management solution has no equal in terms of user-friendliness. This font management solution is unsurpassed in the industry. After acquiring the suite, you won't need to buy any more tools. Every component you'll need is provided in the kit, which you may combine with others to build even more powerful solutions. Developers have been a huge help to me and my colleagues.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

It's great for novices, but it's not industry standard, making it tough for groups to work together. CorelDRAW has a reputation for being a shaky program. If you move between various tools too rapidly, the software may slow down, halt, and in many instances cease operating entirely.

5. Photo editing is made easy with CorelDraw.
6. CorelDraw supports multiple language fonts to use.

  ### 27. The new vision of perfection is CoralDraw

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal A. | Head of Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2021

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

The best thing I like about CorelDraw is that it has a user-friendly interface with the basic tutorial or intruction manual, which helps beginners to adapt quickly. CorelDraw has the best support system, which typically supports most vector formats files. CorelDraw also carries a variety of Graphic Design tools that allows us to create our very own customized templates based upon usage and requirement. Then there is a hint menu option that helps us to design quickly and effectively. Corel Draw supports most of the fonts available globally.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

The only thing I dislike about CoralDraw is that the issues with CorelDraw, including file duplication, design capability limitations like vector modification. It is yet another limitation as large file vector rendering is not real-time issue as competitors allow real-time rendering, extensive files management, sometimes even crash automatically, and the cost is higher than most tools.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

I personally recommend CorelDraw for industrial/ professional users only and make sure that you are using it on a Laptop with a high end graphics processor and good memory space for file processing as it could lead to tool crash or system crash however, when used with caution tool have a great potential with high end precision and if you're a begineer to the industry or Creative work then I must tell you that I have personally learned a lot using CorelDraw. It also allowed me to move into the graphics designing industry and understand what I was doing moreover, and it enabled me to understand the computer graphics world even better.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used CorelDraw to design company logos, Brand Identity guidelines, posters, bill books, banner design, business cards, packaging designs, templates, design posts for posting on social media pages for brand marketing. The pick tool is one of the game-changer with us as it helps design the template faster, and the trace bitmap tool also helps in tracing images. Coral also allows us to imported and exported multiple file formats like Jpg, Png, Tiff, CAD, CDR, and more, which helps us grow business with different categories of clients.

  ### 28. CoreIDRAW - Great place to work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pakhi V. | Software Developer , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2022

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

The best thing about CorelDRAW is its advancing and user-friendly features. I find it the best place to work with my vector art, exactly the way I want. I find here easy to go on rather than Adobe Illustrator.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

The only disadvantage it holds is handling some features on the toolbar, I find it quite a little confusing sometimes. Also, the sidebars and icons make the artboard small and challenging to focus on our task.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a graphic designer, i find many uses, like making my vectors for professional and personal works. Also, it is a time saver and the features make it more attractive to work on.

  ### 29. Great Product but bad support and annoying forced pop-ups

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sijo Z. | Martial Art Master, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2021

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

I think CorelDRAW (vector Graphics) is the best graphic product around or was. I started using it when it was Corel2, sometime around 1990. It integrated fantastically with CorelPain (Bitmap Images), both felt and work similarly. I liked it so much so that we bought near 1000 copies for our Engineers and I never looked back. Before we purchased we evaluated three other products, including Arts & Letters and Adobe but by far, Corel was the best, hands down.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

In the 30 years since, Corel has become so-so. Once, CorelDRAW and CorelPAIN felt like the one product, and most functions were similar. Since they feel like different products, with even a simple cut and paste between the two causing size problems, I can no longer say that it is the best on the market as I see Paint Apps with better functions than CorelPain, including masks, effects, filters, and the like. Often I use online bitmap editors instead of CorelPain and have other BitMap editors to fill CorelPaint's huge omissions. One of my biggest gripes is background removal and masks, but one thing is even worse; Corel Support.

What can I say to Corel support that 100's of published gripes do not already say. Hundreds of complaints about Corel Support, especially since its 2021 expensive upgrade seems to be the least stable since the '90s. But there is one Corel Unique feature across all Pain, Draw, and Video that raises the heckles of most people to the boiling point, forced pop-up inside the program.

As a Corel user, you have to log in to your account as a security feature, which is understandable. But, Corel uses this to piggyback a stream of in-program pop-up spam advertising that is difficult to stop. Yes, there is a setting, but that is a recent addition, only after hundreds or even thousands of complaints.

Summary - Look around first before you buy, and consider the steep price of Coraw Graphis Suit, which tries to sell you its products as an integrated suite. It is integrated, but not very well, and the great feature it once had, that the Pain and Draw worked and felt very similar, that is long gone. With a price tag of $640, 'for the graphics enthusiast', it is not worth the cost. The cut-down, Essentials version for $235 may be good value, but they need to improve stability, remove pop-up spamming and realign the two products functions. You could do the ridiculously priced Professional version for $549/ PER YEAR or even the Technical version for $895/y but I would suggest shopping around to get exactly what you want from different products without a yearly cost.

If the functions were similar as once in the 90s' then it may have been worth it as a new user, reducing vastly on the steep learning curve, but now, shop around. There are so many great and innovative products out there including the market leader Adobe Illustrator but also Affinity Designer. If you are not sure, try Inkscape, a free open-source editing program.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I loved Corel Graphics Suit, but I think their marketing, support, and design strategy is detached from the 21st century. I think they are going down the path of other products that were once market leaders but failed to adapt to the circumstances like Swiss Watches and Nokia.

One can say that its size is really big so it occupies a lot of space, second thing is that as it has a lot of features in it so sometimes it may hang up the system. Few features like freehand brush, stroking, etc are sometimes hard to use. Most important thing is that its Mac version is not available.

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

Interface - Doesn't change a lot between revisions of software. I USED to like the fact that I could upgrade about every 2 versions so I wouldn't be out money each year.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

License changed. Can't have perpetual unless I buy again. Which makes not sense when I spend $XX on subscription.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Adobe has some great products. I have been using Corel since 1993. CorelPhotoPaint is strong and does most of what I need. The interface can be set to be Photoshop like. So you might find an easy transition. Using Corel you will find it's easier to use than Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
I found that the integration in COREL helps me speed up my changes.

  ### 38. My old and dear Corel, always helpful

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel Z. | Project Manager - Especialista en comunicación de datos, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2021

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

Corel Draw is the easiest design program to learn for those who are not designers but need a quick solution for graphic pieces, printing, exporting to .jpg, .png, etcetera. Because it does not work in layers, design thinking is easier than AI. I really love this program that has been with me for 15 years in my daily work.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

It does not usually support very large files, and sometimes closes automatically. Another thing I don't like is that it generates duplicate files. But these are all small things compared to the benefits. There is another problem, but it's not really Corel's problem, it's the designers' habit: designers almost always work in Adobe Illustrator (AI) and that causes Corel to fall into disuse.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

I strongly recommend buying the licence. The trial versions are not as effective. On the other hand, I recommend learning the key shortcuts, which is very useful. A trick: the redo function is not control + Y, but control + shift + Z.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Corel I made more than a thousand graphic pieces for printing: brochures, folders, cards. It was also very useful for data stortelling, as I have to make reports based on Power BI data for decision making. Corel helps a lot to create attractive designs.

  ### 39. Best tool for making social media graphics

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charvi G. | Graphics Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2021

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

Its shortcuts make my work more accessible and make my work more efficient and less time-consuming. I have been using it for designing social media graphics for our blog Instagram handle. I have made many designs for our blog page and Instagram account using this tool. I have been using this tool for the past two years, and it has helped me by saving my time and providing excellent results.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

The software is a bit heavy and bulky to use. When I try to edit my CDR file in a low-end system, my system sometimes hangs.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

I recommend it to anyone as a handy design tool, even for beginners. This tool is convenient and always serves its purpose best.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using it for designing graphics for our blog firm for social media and banners for our website. And we also use it for graphic designs for some of our clients. A feature display that is quite detailed and coherent. where I found many things that help me in designing an object. how grateful i am to meet this app. Moreover, how to install it is easy and you can choose the options you want.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

I don't like the appearance of the interface which is too stiff and not eye catchy so that it makes designers easily bored. so keep it at the right way to eye catchy

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I hope that the developer is able to beautify the appearance of the sophisticated features in this application so that a designer feels pampered during the process of making the object that is being created.

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lara M. | Diseñadora Gráfica Senior, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2021

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

Corel was the program with which I started in graphic design. At first it helped to understand basic concepts about digitization, design, logos, nodes, etc. Fortunately, Corel was the most widely used program in printing and graphics services businesses. Slowly as I progressed my studies I opted to use Adobe.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

The reason I stopped using this program was the lack of compatibility that Adobe did offer. I constantly work combining design and photography, and when using Corel the compatibility was limited with Photoshop, with pdf files, etc. In addition, the interface design has never been pleasant to me.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

If you are learning design and do not want to expand in this area, learn Core. Otherwise opt for the adobe suit!

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With this program you can create multiple and varied design projects, posters, cards, logos, graphic support of any kind in vector style. The functions it offers help simplify tasks and understanding how the program works is completely simple,
and the work done can be viewed at any printing press as long as you share the version.

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

CorelDraw has a tone of features handy for Graphic Designers. The latest, Multipage view allows to compare, arrange and move through different pages in the same project. It is exceptional from other existing software that it is improving so much with every update.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

It requires a certain time to get things known to fully make use of the software. The customer service of CorelDRAW is not up to the mark of such software in such a price range. Tools could have been way more simple and user friendly to be used by beginners.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CorelDRAW offers a single platform to do all the graphic designing works such as brochures, magazines, posters and photo manipulations. Productivity has much enhanced with CorelDRAW.

I have no problems with Corel. Some of the benefits are being able to export out to many formats so when I share files with others using other software, they can easily import and edit.

  ### 49. Straight Forward Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brooke G. | Graphic Artist, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2018

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

I learned how to design on Illustrator, Photoshop and CorelDraw and I love the ease of design that CorelDraw offers. There's less of a process to do things vs the Adobe option. You don't have to work with layers and end up losing what you're working on. It makes a design simple and easy.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

I really don't dislike anything. There's a good set of options on what you can do. I'd love an option to be able to hook a pad to the computer so I can draw directly into the program on certain designs. That would make it easier in certain circumstances.

**Recommendations to others considering CorelDRAW:**

Always make sure you have a good amount of processing space when you start using this. As you go you can overload your computer to the point where you wont be able to access your files. Other than that it really is a good software to start out on. I really learned a lot using CorelDraw. It also allowed me to move onto Adobe and understand what I was doing more rather than just throwing myself in and not knowing what I was doing. Thats super important to create that building block in the program.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to provide a stunning design for logos and signs without slaving away over the computer.

  ### 50. Signwriters dream...or nightmare

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam S. | Full Stack Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2021

**What do you like best about CorelDRAW?**

The absolutely ridiculous and marvelously large bounds outside the canvas really gives CorelDraw the advantage over Adobe Illustrator as you can edit a vehicle livery or wrap full size.

**What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?**

CorelDraw does struggle with complicated fills and clipping paths. When it does work, it is cumbersome and exports enormous files, which are a bit hit-and-miss when opening up in a rip software like Rasterlink, Thrive, or another design app like illustrator.

**What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fantastic for simple cad work, works magically with Mimaki's Finecut plugin for cad/cam processes. However when operating in a business with more than one version, file compatibility becomes a real issue as older files don't work with newer software and vice-versa.
