**What do you like best about Zenzap?**

We have been truly impressed by the sense of community that Zenzap has fostered within our team. The effect was almost immediate—our staff began interacting more, offering each other advice, sharing tips, and expressing appreciation. It has made a noticeable difference in how we connect and support one another.

**What do you dislike about Zenzap?**

There’s very little I dislike about Zenzap, but I do wish it offered a few basic text formatting options, such as bold and italics. Additionally, having the ability to pin posts within chats would be extremely useful, especially for highlighting important topics in our more active conversations.

**What problems is Zenzap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since we introduced the “Subs” chat, it has become much easier to identify when we need substitutes and fill those needs for our hosts. The team practically handles the process for us, which has been a huge help. As a result, our scheduler now has more time to focus on other tasks, which is a tremendous benefit.

**What do you like best about Zenzap?**

We moved our entire internal comms over to Zenzap from Whatsapp and haven’t looked back. The ability to combine real-time chat with task management, file sharing, and topic-based threads has made a huge difference to how our team communicates — especially across multiple countries.

What stands out most is how easy it is to get started. The interface is clean and intuitive, even for less tech-savvy staff. Features like shared file tabs, structured group chats, and the built-in to-do functionality make it feel like a smart mix of WhatsApp, Slack, and Trello in one.

We use it daily across departments — from sales and cast coordination to live show night support — and being able to separate chats by topic has genuinely reduced noise and improved response times.

**What do you dislike about Zenzap?**

The only reason it’s not a 10 is the support side. 

We’ve experienced a couple of service interruptions recently with no proactive communication, and emails to support often go unanswered. 

It’s the one area that needs improvement — especially for business users relying on the platform daily.

**What problems is Zenzap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zenzap is solving our biggest internal communications challenges: scattered messages, missed updates, and zero visibility on follow-ups. Previously, we relied heavily on WhatsApp group chats, which quickly became noisy, unstructured, and hard to manage — especially across multiple locations and teams.

**What do you like best about Zenzap?**

The ideas Zenzap has are great. I was particularly keen on being able to set my notification hours as I have issues with my team messaging me at all hours meaning I can never switch off from work. Support was always on hand to try to help resolve issues quickly.

**What do you dislike about Zenzap?**

We had to give up using Zenzap as some of our team has older mobiles that wouldn’t update to a recent enough iOS version to install it. We had huge issues with messages being stuck in sending mode and never coming through so it caused a lot of communication breakdowns. Team members had been extremely reluctant to move over from WhatsApp and it took a lot of work to convince them, only to find the platform glitchy and look rather silly when we had to revert back to WhatsApp because of the constant issues. 
The ideas behind the app are good and we’d consider it again if the issues were resolved in future but for now we need a fully functional group chat.

**What problems is Zenzap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If it worked properly the ability to choose notification hours would have been great

ZenZap has been an absolute saving grace for our small business. It’s taken all of our internal communication, intellectual property, protocols, policies and scheduling—and put it in one secure, organized place. The ability to create specific chat spaces for events, policies, procedures, and day-to-day team communication keeps everything streamlined and easy to revisit. Nothing gets lost anymore, and everyone stays aligned without the constant back-and-forth.

One of the biggest highlights has been the support. Shelly has been incredible—always right there with me whenever I have questions about features or need help setting something up. Her responsiveness and knowledge make the experience feel even more seamless.

Switching to ZenZap has genuinely been one of the best business decisions we’ve made. If you want clarity, organization, and safe internal communication that actually works in your big or small business, ZenZap is it! 💯

**What do you like best about Zenzap?**

How easy and intuitive it is for people that are not yet used to professional tools for communication. The fact that zenzap uses terminology that is readily understood by everyone, even my 70 year old boss, makes things extremely easy. It helps our team, which spans over 8-hour time zone, and different digital backgrounds, have all the work communications in one place and easily available asynchronously. I also love that the basic plan for a small team like ours is totally free.

**What do you dislike about Zenzap?**

I would like to have direct videocalls implemented in the system, instead of being based off thrid-party apps like Google Meet or Microsoft Teams.

**What problems is Zenzap solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gather all communications in an organized manner for a non-colocalized team of colleagues, who also happen to be differently familiar with professional communication tools.

**What do you like best about Zenzap?**

I like the overall visibilty as a manager to see what is going on and be able to help out in situations where onsite personnel are asking questions to the group and I can have office based personnel overviewing, that have the ability to offer feedback from an office. Also like the storage of media that can be looked back over even by newly added members to chats. The other good thing is to be able to remove people from chats when they are no longer working on projects, which helps keep them focused on the projects they are working on.

**What do you dislike about Zenzap?**

The removal of files is awkward when it comes to updating them. You currently have to locate the original message with the file attached and then delete it.  Unable to rename files in the system is a shame but I'm sure the way the zenzap team work new processes come along after ideas are put forward by the users.

I use this for discussing projects and keeping track of stock, which has been quite helpful. The social interaction at work is positive, and overall, it supports effective business communication.

Onboarding is so much easier than other apps, such as Whatsapp. Combined with the safety of revoking chat access to people who leave the group, theae 2 features alone make it a standout platform. Add to that the file storage, the ability to set custom hours, the many different chat spaces - an awesome app.

Sometimes navigation is a bit cumbersome - for example deleting media from the app.

I run a community grouo with many different sub groups. Being able to sign up to just the groups that interest me is saving me from notification nightmares!

The only problem I’m experiencing right now is that, on occasion, the audio simply vanishes and isn’t sent after I finish recording it. I’m not sure whether this is due to a software glitch or an issue with my device.

What stood out most was how intuitive it felt from the very first use. The interface is clean, well-designed and makes collaboration straightforward. It strikes a nice balance between being feature-rich and still feeling simple to navigate.

The notification system is the biggest drawback. Because alerts are tied to individual checklist items rather than the checklist as a whole, everyone ends up getting notified about every tiny update. It can quickly become noisy and distracting, especially in shared lists.

It helps keep shared tasks organised in one place, so nothing gets lost in messages or emails. Checklists make collaboration clearer and ensure everyone can see progress at a glance. Zenzap is a a great alternative to using Whatsapp at work. It has extra features like To'dos and central file sharing that we've found really useful. Its also resonably priced compared to other platforms.

It has been an easy integration and the team have been great.

The challenge I believe is not with ZenZap but with people being afraid to switch, try a different platform or having to pay for a service when they get Group me for free.

ZenZap can help us provide a safe and secure communications platform for our church security team.  I can have groups within groups to reach to other campuses or send messages to all campuses at one time.

I like that you can upload images onto the chat so as to provide helpful visuals for everyone in the group. Also being able to set dates and times is very useful. I like when jobs are complete, they are clearly crossed off from the to-do list. Great that it’s also a mobile app!

When you make a change to an already logged job, it doesn’t edit the original note, it creates a long list of what changes were made, which clogs up the chat section so info seems a little confusing and may get lost at times

Zenzap gives us better functionality vs WhatsApp. We are still learning our way with it but the key elements are there and they are important.

It’s simple, streamlined, and fits naturally into our workflow.

There aren’t many dislikes, but a few features we’d love to see are still in development — such as repeatable tasks and more advanced organisational roles (like super admin, admin, manager tiers). These additions would really enhance team structure and task overview. That said, we appreciate that the team is actively working on improvements and is always open to feedback.

Zenzap has helped us streamline communication across the team, especially when speed matters. At the end of the work days you can set the messages to an out of office mode, in this you won’t get notified unless it is a directed message to you. 
As someone who finds it hard to switch off from work I feel this feature is a great way to allow stress free time away from work.

Zenzap can sometimes be quite slow to load files and messages which can be quite annoying at times but it soon catches up!

It's super efficient - avoids the bloat of other platforms and helps to keep communication streamlined. The ability to manage individual and group messaging, calendars, and meeting invites in one place makes it a central hub and all the customise ations allow me to minimise distractions!

Lastlye - it's the high-level security that gives me confidence in handling sensitive business information, which has always been an area of concern!

Our business was using Whatsapp but for a multitude of reasons we identified a need to move away from this including:
-blurring between personal and work boundaries
-advice from data protection specialists not to use whatsapp 
-inability to discuss business sensitive (and patient identifiable) information

We discovered Zenzap and have found the transition seamless. The support from Zenzap has been incredible, responding promptly to any issues we have had and guided us through the process. Our team have found it easy to use as the "muscle memory" and immediacy that Whatsapp has ingrained in our team has transferred nicely to Zenzap allowing for easy integration into our working lives. 

The team constantly add new features to make our lives easier, and yet the app remains simple to use and isnt an overly powerful "bloated" solution such as Slack/Teams etc. It remains a quick and easy way to communicate as a team, with customisation allowing us to limit the amount of unecessary interruptions and the team to focus on information with is applicable to them. As we have expanded as a business we have found that it allows us to take time off for family etc much easier as work life can be "muted" with only business critical alerts intruding into our personal time (as lets be honest, there is no such thing as true "time off" when you are responsible for running a business and emergencies do occur!) 

The team have also helped us to expand the usage of the app from the initial "core" team to our wider support staff, not an easy process but they have talked us through how to implement the software and it is instrumental to the smooth running of our business expansion.

There are paid tiers (which is actually reassuring as a truly free service is concerning regarding where the funding comes from to run the software etc!). Otherwise, no concerns from us!

New features are regularly added, and the high-level of security makes it appealing in my domain. For someone technologically-challenged, it was surprisingly easy to figure out how to use Zenzap, and get a lot out of it.
