## WorkBoard Reviews
  ### 1. Centralized Goals, But Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maitri P. | Dentist

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2026

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

I like how structured, well planned, and clear WorkBoard is. Goals, targets, updates, and priorities are off my shoulders and easy to track in one place. Having everything in one place makes it easier to stay clear on priorities. Target updates and progress are well structured, so I don’t have to search through emails or spreadsheets, nor do I have to jot it all down. It helps keep discussions focused and ensures everyone is aligned on what needs attention.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

The interface can feel a bit complex at first, and it takes some time to get used to all the features. Making it beginner friendly would make it so easy.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use WorkBoard to track goals, align team priorities, and easily see progress, which solves alignment issues and keeps everyone focused and updated. It organizes everything in one place, eliminating the need for emails or spreadsheets and making team discussions more efficient.

  ### 2. Transparency, Alignment, Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rory T. | Strategic Initiatives Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2025

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

Having WorkBoard implemented across our entire organisation has meant everyone is reporting their progress in one place; this gives global visibility of what teams are achieving (and also where they might be struggling), reducing the tendency for teams to operate in silos, encouraging collaboration and reinforcing the 'common goal' mentality.
As someone with administrator responsibilities in the platform, it's important for me to have easy access to effective technical support - we have a fantastic Customer Success Manager who understands the structure of our business, what our strategic goals are and will actively work with us to ensure we are getting the most out of WorkBoard. The online 'help' articles are comprehensive and thorough, and if we ever find we need to raise a support ticket, the response time is fast, usually within an hour, and the support engineers remain engaged until the issue is resolved.
Workstreams in WorkBoard have proven particularly useful, they are now used widely across the business, and not only for OKR related projects - in addition to allowing teams to easily report progress towards key results, they allow for easy collaboration and management of projects as well as providing clear ways to identify tasks that are stalled or at risk.
We're just starting to lean into the AI-generated team briefs - having a short bullet point summary of your team's progress including significant wins and off-track results automatically emailed at a scheduled time allows our leadership to go into meetings and project reviews fully informed with minimal effort.
WorkBoard's overall ease of use and the functionality it offers means it has become part of the standard day-to-day for a significant number of our team - an increasing number of meetings are taking place within WorkBoard and the ability to integrate OKR progress and workstreams directly into the agenda has been a game-changer for maintaining momentum through each quarter.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

Although relatively minor, if I could make one change it would be to allow Admin users greater access to users' profiles to allow for more meaningful internal support with OKR setup and general troubleshooting; a 'log in as' function would be really useful.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a global business with teams spread across the world, it can be difficult for everyone to feel aligned and involved when it comes to strategy and goal setting; rolling out a structured OKR programme got us a long way towards overcoming this issue - WorkBoard has taken it to the next level. Strategic business objectives are now visible to everyone, this visibility makes it far easier for teams to identify what they should be focusing on in a given period, and crucially, WorkBoard allows individuals to see directly the impact that their efforts are having on the achievement of these business goals - turning something which could otherwise seem a distant concept into a real and tangible target.
General OKR effectiveness has improved; with clearly communicated guidelines for publishing OKRs and submitting timely Key Result updates, everyone knows what's expected of them and when. It's straightforward to see what OKRs your upline team (VPs, Directors etc) has in place, so teams are able to easily create goals that not only support leadership, but also support overall business strategy.
When it comes to the process of setting quarterly OKRs, teams are finding that WorkBoard's in-built AI functionality helps to refine the focus of their Key Results; rather than replacing discussions around what and how to measure, Co-Author elevates the conversation, prompting teams to set goals that support upline teams and stretch them to success and rather than just checking boxes - the AI input has proven especially useful for teams who see their achievements not measured by traditional financial metrics.
Cross-functional collaboration is now far less challenging - when working on projects or Key Results that require input from different departments, 'dynamic teams' allow for a unified approach, putting everyone involved on the same page with shared Key Results and workstreams that give everyone full visibility of tasks that others are working on. Canvas functionality then allows teams (both dynamic and functional) to come together and actively share retrospective reviews and opinions on the results from the previous quarter, setting them up well for setting targets for the next.

  ### 3. WoBo, our strategic partner pushing us to execute seamlessly, transparently and effectively

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaclyn D. | Sales Enablement and Training Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2025

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

Makes it really easy for my users to organize team objectives and key results and update them weekly. Can tie back to company glass balls easily. Scorecards can curate the right information for the right person. Customer support and account managers are next level partners.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

Scorecards/canvas can have bugs. Some UX opportunities for improvement in how we navigate and level up information for people. Make it easier for wobo admins to have more control and access. Need aha integration.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workboard is solving the need for teams to have clear milestones and goals for each quarter. AND tying them back to company strategy. It is also solving the dependency/relationship/risk elevation for our teams and enhances transparency. Creates one space for updates with real-time accurate information.

  ### 4. Visibility & Transparency when Executing your Strategy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2025

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

WorkBoard provides us with a cloud-based platform to manage our Strategy Execution program. This gives us scalability, visibility to what's actually going on and transparency in terms of being able to see the progress being made. Being able to search across the platform gives us insights into who is doing what and the ability to realign teams. The platform also includes a GenerativeAI component that allows teams to accelerate their OKR creation process and streamline reporting out utilizing all the data in the platform. Scorecards allow leaders and teams to visualize their progress in a simple tabular format - "OKRs on a page".

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

Sometimes flexibility can be a barrier to adoption. For seasoned users, knowing they can to get to the same place from multiple starting points in the platform, is an advantage. However, for new users that flexibility can be confusing and sometimes users do get lost. We have seen the tool (WorkBoard) complexity used as an excuse for not engaging with the OKR methodology.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplifying interaction with the platform via GenerativeAI which speeds up OKR creation and reporting out.

  ### 5. Easy to track goals!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Milton D. | Manager, Talent Acquisition, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2025

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

We use it to track our OKRs and monitor their progress. It makes collaboration straightforward and simple.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

I haven't encountered anything noteworthy so far, but I should mention that my experience has been limited.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Workboard to monitor and manage our OKRs.

  ### 6. Great experience with Workboard!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa A. | Horizontal Delivery HRBP, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2025

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

Workboard is a wonderful tool that at its core helps to streamline work across teams for a cross-functional approach to strategy execution. Its super easy to use, we have had the best customer support experience with any and all questions and although there will always be a change mgmt component to any new tool, the ease of implementation has been leaps and bounds better than other tools the team has tried. I would definitely recommend Workboard to any team looking to get their strategy in a spot for better execution!

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

Would love more reporting within the tool

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing a cross-functional team together on all of the work being done, a MBR scorecard view for leaders and a way to track at any time where we are with a specific task

  ### 7. Transition from Viva Goals to WoBo

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** KAREN S. | Principal Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2025

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

WoBo is a comprehensive digital strategy execution management solution with superior functionality for OKR creation, entry, and management with check-ins, reflections, and resets. The Strategy alignment is non-existent in other OKR software. Integrations are easy and dependable.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

Would like to see the Strategy alignment more integrated with OKR functionality.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My Organization's improvement efforts were not aligned with strategy. Many employees did not understand how their work contributed to the high level goals of the organization. WoBo helps us illustrate OKRs at every level and how the align or nest under the strategy and Level 1 Os to move the needle on a rapid cadence.

  ### 8. good for OKR, meetings ideas and agenda, but no AI intgration done.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amol B. | T, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2021

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

OKRs and Meetings and concept of Action Items

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

Sometimes there is downtime so its little irritating

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we have goals quarterly and then folllowups and then we have meetings and takeaways which is well planned interface

**Official Response from David Chase:**

> HI Amol, thank you for your review. Sharing some info on AI to help you out, we have been using AI across our platform for almost 5 years, and in September 2023 went to market with a series of Generative AI capabilities. You can learn more here - https://www.workboard.com/strategy-execution-genai/. WorkBoard platform is consistently above 99.99% uptime, details are available for customers when they log in. Best, WorkBoard!

  ### 9. Single pane of glass for organizational alignment, transparency and radical clarity!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary B. | Senior Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2021

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

When I first started using Workboard, I saw it as a tool to track my organization's OKRs. Shortly after, I realized how feature-rich the platform was and how it allowed my team to work efficiently and asynchronously in a distributed work environment. My team has radical clarity and focus on what's important this quarter and understands how their day-to-day work contributes to our broader priorities, strategy, and vision. My team has reduced the number of tools they use by 50%, leveraging Workboard functionality to complete tasks and outputs that drive our measurable outcomes. We have become more proactive, less reactive, and work better as a global, distributed team.
Lastly, the Workboard team themselves have been instrumental in guiding and coaching us on adopting and embracing OKR methodology and how best to leverage the platform for transparency and visibility. Thank you, Workboard, for the partnership and mentorship as we continue on our OKR journey.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

The things I dislike are geared more towards feature, functionality, and integration improvements across the platform. Some integrations such as MS Planner are a little basic; however, Slack, MS Teams, and Jira integration work well. The Workboard team is very responsive and values their customers' feedback to influence their product and services roadmaps. Customer success is the heart of their charter, ensuring their customers achieve desired outcomes while using their platform and leveraging their resources to shift to and embrace OKR philosophy.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have shifted from a reactive, meeting-heavy, global team to an organization that is aligned on our shared outcomes, works asynchronously and efficiently with transparency and radical clarity!

  ### 10. Workboard drives alignment, focus, and accountability at scale.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2021

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

Workboard offers a modern SaaS solution combined with a world-class customer success team to help our teams understand the true meaning of OKRs, how to practice OKRs and how to use Workboard to drive the practice across all the business units at scale. For the first time, management can tell if the organization's priorities are well understood and executed across and deep into the organization by seeing how many teams are creating OKRs aligned to org OKRs.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

The percentage of OKR attainment calculation is not readily available and easily understood in the application platform. This comment is more of an area to improve than a dislike.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to move away from static documents showing the organization's priorities, and our progress made. By putting our organization's OKRs and all our teams' OKRs on Workboard, we demonstrate transparency and accountability to our colleagues and enable them to align to our OKRs to achieve greater results for the company.

  ### 11. Results at any scale!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob B. | Global People Development Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2021

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

Workboard is many apps in one. And in the information age, consolidation goes a long way. But this isn’t just tacking on features to bloat the software…the major capabilities complement each other and result in a robust platform for managing results (plus the teams, actions, and meetings that lead to results). Their mobile app is fantastic. The product roadmap is transparent, aggressive, and closely connected to customer feedback and needs. The automation between major features and capabilities is exceptional. Aside from the platform itself, Workboard staff are expert coaches and consultants. They will be with you from start to finish, ensuring you are positioned for success and ready to thrive with OKRs. Finally, their Resource Center and self-help capabilities are some of the best I have seen.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

My dislikes are better described as “what would I like to see that they are working on, but isn’t fully implemented yet” as many of my “dislikes” are on their roadmap and slated to go live in a matter of months. The web app speed and performance can be improved (though it is already very capable), and I wouldn’t mind seeing a native application on desktop to complement their mobile app.

**Recommendations to others considering WorkBoard:**

OKRs can be a challenging model to adopt for some. It requires new ways of thinking and operating, and can take time to build proficiency. Workboard will help you every step of the way. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know what OKRs stands for, or if you are 20-year, OKR veteran, Workboard can help you create or evolve your practice. And it will lead to results. Also, there is a TON of great material on their website. Leverage that as much as you can. My recommendation: schedule some time to discuss your needs with the Workboard team. You won’t regret it.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What problems aren’t we solving? Workboard’s platform and the Outcome Mindset enables an organization to focus on the most impactful work, align across any business unit, team, or department (in any sized organization), and encourage accountability across team members. This helps relieve the anxiety and stress of “I have too much to work on and don’t know what to focus on” for many. The benefits are: better organization of information, full transparency and therefore better connections across projects and teams, reduced confusion and anxiety, and higher engagement (I understand how my work fits into the broader picture).

  ### 12. WorkBoard has helped us organize and align!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ian G. | Strategic Operations Partner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2021

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

The WorkBoard Platform allows our teams to align on the truly important work, identifying key dependencies across the organization to propel us forward in the same direction! Not to mention, they have provided incredible consultation along the way, sharing best practices from OKR writing to strategically aligning an organization.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

WorkBoard's platform is so powerful that it sometimes makes sacrifices to the intuitive user experience. Great technology doesn't make users feel inferior, EVER! WorkBoard falls in the middle of the road for this. The solution is, they have a powerful resource center and incredible training.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are continuously improving the strategic alignment of the organization by identifying key dependencies and mapping the stakeholders. WorkBoard has allowed us to eliminate inefficiencies at all levels of our business unit.

  ### 13. Workboard is the best tool for managing OKRs that are aligned to our strategic imperatives!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bonnie V. | Director Global Field Marketing Planning & Strateg, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2020

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

The Workboard tool is easy to use and provides all employees visibility of OKRs across the entire organization. The tool also allows you to align to OKRs above and below a specific org providing key insights into the metrics we use to measure our business. Setting "Best Possible" OKRs can be challenging but very rewarding, loving this tool and methodology.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

The tool can sometimes be slow which can be frustrating. With that said, WorkBoard is constantly improving the tool and always accepts feature requests to help improve the overall user experience. The WorkBoard team is fantastic to work with and very responsive.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Workboard tool helps us align to the companies strategic objectives, providing visibility to all employees. The teams seem to be more connected than ever before and developing OKRs as a team and rolling up and aligning to your managers has provided us with insights we have never had before.

  ### 14. Great software for Tracking OKRs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2020

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

I like the ease of use and the transparency. I can now see how my goals align with the organization all the way to the CEO.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

Performance can be slow. This can be embarasing during meetings with Execs.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company is moving towards a growth mindset. The benefits is the transparency and alignment. Workboard also helps everyone focus.

  ### 15. Help your team deliver results that matter!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis M. | Manager of Strategy, Innovation, and Engagement, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2020

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

The customer service is excellent. I always quickly receive a response on issues and the team does a great job providing suggestions and tips to help make the implementation of workboard as a new tool successful. The availability for facilitation and support have been excellent. It is a great way to stay connected with remote workers and as we start using the tool more, I can foresee how it will help us drive and achieve the work that really matters.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

Our organization is not always quick to accept new things and many have struggled to adapt their old way of thinking and working into a different approach. It is not intuitive for everyone and takes time to adapt. More analytics for administrators would be very helpful for driving results and utilization of the tool. Right now we are trying to get at that through the API and an analytics dashboard for administrators would be very helpful.

**Recommendations to others considering WorkBoard:**

Give it a try and start with your leadership team first. Attend the OKR certification training WorkBoard offers, it is very helpful for making the implementation a success.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are implementing it as a tool to help blend our strategic and operational priorities together. We are also using it to launch the quarterly OKR process which we hope will drive alignment across our organization and improve accountability and communication within our organization.

  ### 16. WorkBoard is an amazing, easy to use OKR platform!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2020

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

I am the administrator of the platform. Administration is extremely easy - one of the easiest platforms I've administered. The end-user experience is simple and is loved by everyone I have talked to.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

There are no downsides to using WorkBoard in my opinion. We are only in the first quarter of OKR's, but so far I have been able to do everything I've needed to do.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkBoard and the implementation of OKR's into our business has allowed us to prioritize the work we do on a quarterly basis. It has allowed us to systematically deploy the strategy of our company.

  ### 17. Awesome Company, Awesome People!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Security and Investigations | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2020

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

The Workboard group were great throughout the decision-making process of "which solution to purchase" and continued that excellent service/communication during the implementation phase. They were very responsive to any needs for training, coaching, etc. They "pushed" us just enough to take ownership internally maybe a little sooner than we would have on our own, but that was also great. We were actually ready because they had trained us so well. The overall approach to OKR's has made our company more aligned than we have been in quite some time.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

This is not a direct reflection of Workboard, but it is just one more application to learn. Workboard has so many features, it just takes a fair amount of time to learn all of the capabilities and the best way to approach the specific task you are trying to complete. I'm sure this will get better as we become more familiar.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mentioned earlier, we are more aligned than ever from the top down, across business verticals. It's great to be able to see how Objectives in one business vertical overlap to another vertical and that we both have pieces of the project to meet an overall company objective.

  ### 18. Good tool, great support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2020

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

Better visibility and organization. Great team support. The Meetings functionality is a great added perk.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

The meetings functionality can't be used with people outside the tool

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to get more organized. It's been great in uncovering duplicative work and places where we can work together on larger projects

  ### 19. Excellent tool for a holistic view of all of your company's important strategic priorities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2020

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

When leveraged to its full capacity, WorkBoard can be a very effective tool to collaborate seamlessly with your organization. I think the one thing I like the most is the ability to track projects/initiatives while also being able to request progress, share documents and assign to-do's to keep everyone moving forward - all in one place. Via email or IMs - there are always delays especially with the folks who are in back to back meetings all day. Everything is track in different ways/areas and can get lost in the noise. Using WorkBoard is definitely (for some) a change in how you approach work but with it you know exactly what's important, where to go, what to look for and can get up-to-speed and back to your colleagues or team members quickly. It's adds value to peoples performance and time.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

The UI needs improvement for sure, it can be slow at times or the formatting of the content may not always be displayed like you would like. Like any software, it has its limitations and there are features it doesn't have currently that could also make it a bit easier to use. While this can be a bit difficult or off putting, I just think of a way around it or how I can adapt my process to accommodate this (a change in how you approach work). Additionally, WorkBoard is constantly improving the tool and they always accept feature requests or provide a way to leverage WorkBoard in a different capacity to achieve your desired outcome.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transparency, communication and alignment are the few areas that we have seen improvement since adopting the tool (and this is at half capacity - meaning not everyone in our org uses it to its full potential). We have received feedback from our teams that it definitely helps with being in the know of what's happening across the org. Our leaders are better informed of progress on strategic priorities which helps us make decisions quicker.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clay N. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2020

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

I really like the systematic approach of setting objectives and key results on a quarterly basis, making the priorities of the organization transparent to everyone, seeing the progress as the quarter goes along, and then capturing lessons learned and repeating the cycle. It integrates strategy, prioritization, and operational needs in a way that makes sense to all employees. I also love that the team at WorkBoard are so helpful.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

It isn't as intuitive as I'd like, so there is a bit of a learning curve.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I drive my team crazy with ideas of new ways to do things, new initiatives, or new products to offer. Setting a limited number of truly "key" results provides clarity and focus for my team.

We have seen significant, measurable results and improvement from integrating WorkBoard in our organization. It helped unlock incredible potential within our teams and allows us to work cross functionally to drive business performance. The WorkBoard tool is the powerhouse that enables us to perform workstreams, schedule meetings and action items, and even create running business reviews in a few minutes that is beautifully presentable to our executive team. What is the most valuable to me is the support that we’ve received from Regina, Sameera and Alex, who have all been incredibly hands on with our team in providing customized training and on-going support to drive adoption. Thank you to the entire WorkBoard team for this amazing and continued partnership.

i like that you can be flexible in how you measure KRs and can tie alignment up and down the department.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

it's slow and hard to update things easily from the main team workspaces. i also wish the Full Alignment Report: Next Level Alignment was editable.

if a department has many teams you can only see the full alignment in the Next Level Alignment. each department and team workspaces are separate from each other.

**Recommendations to others considering WorkBoard:**

i would ask your WB customer service team for as much guidance as possible in the beginning when setting up OKRs.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to track our OKR setting and tracking process E2E, which has enable us to move to an OKR model quickly and easily.

  ### 34. Worst UI in the whole B2B world

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2020

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

Nothing I can think of. OKRs are a very good thing for a company but if you want acceptance and adoption, you must spoil your employees with something that's easy to use and provides value.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

UI is the worst I've ever seen. The navigation is a total mess and I find myself clicking around just trying to do the simplest things. I guess the app has never been used by the people that created it. I hope we're gonna cancel our contract with them soon and use a tool that's actually working.

**Recommendations to others considering WorkBoard:**

OKRs are a very good thing, but if you implement them in your company, don't disgruntle employees with a terrible user experience.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking OKRs

  ### 35. Delivery Manager

It would be great if WoBo allowed for read-only licenses.

  ### 38. Shines a light on the long range, important work so it can grow and flourish

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guy D. | Director, Cell Devlopment, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2019

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

Envisioning “best possible outcomes” has changed what we imagine we can accomplish. We now create a shared understanding of ideal outcomes that motivates the team and pushes us further than before, knowing we may not always achieve complete success. Aligning our results also gets people to think about how their daily effort contributes to the success of the organization and creates a sense of entrepreneurship.

The transition from yearly goals to quarterly OKRs has been invaluable for a company in the rapidly developing technology space of automotive batteries. We have four times the opportunity to review our position in the industry and refresh what needs to be accomplished across the organization. This natural cadence of attention to achievable, near term results in the context of long range objectives is part of Workboard’s DNA.

There are features in Workboard that I have come to appreciate. I have found Agile Scrum effective for certain types of development projects, but I had always used a physical Kanban (task tracking board). With a global team working on our project, I’ve come to see that having the flexibility of virtual Kanban keeps the story cards visible to all, making it easier to stay up to date and connected. There are also a number of helpful tools to visualize how our team’s activities are connected and what is holding results back, so we can respond and support the effort. And the progress is visible at all levels of the company and across teams.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

We have unique, complex, highly technical, and interconnected global projects that must execute on strict timelines for automotive OEMs. In translating output from OKR sessions into Workboard we pushed the process and the software, and frankly sometimes it broke. But WoBo grew with us, taking our feedback seriously and implementing fixes quickly. Our Engagement Lead, Natalie, has been tireless in addressing issues and keeping them from interfering with our progress.

**Recommendations to others considering WorkBoard:**

Spend the time to go through the OKR process, answering the “Why?” and “Is this the best possible outcome?” questions. Aim high and be OK with sometimes falling short. Workboard is not a performance management tool, rather it will help focus effort on achieving results while maintaining alignment and visibility of an integrated work process across your organization.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We all spend a lot of time working on the urgent tasks that demand attention, but all too often we neglect the less urgent but strategically important work that builds the future. Workboard shines a light on the long range, important work so it can grow and flourish. We have been able to accomplish some important results that had previously languished because of the visibility that Workboard provides.

In our first quarter, we focused primarily on vertical alignment with company objectives. But with complex projects with many moving parts, it was clear that we needed to have some alignment across the organization for key customers. The following quarter we introduced cross-functional project team OKR sessions. This not only ensured the timing and results supported the overall team’s objectives but gave everyone on the team an appreciation for work going on outside their own area.

Workboard provides OKR coaching to help us to be our best selves. Leading OKR sessions and training company coaches helps us internalize the process and individuals take ownership, which in turn pushes the company towards its best possible outcomes. It’s a gradual process, but it will benefit our organization in the long run.

  ### 39. Finally! A Tool that Connects Work to Goals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea S. | Program Manager, Business Process Re-engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2019

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

The visualization of work is extremely powerful. Between the workstreams and the teams, being able to see the status of individual items in boards and the workload in teams, it's instantly visible when there's an issue; and, much easier to re-balance work to ensure deadlines are met without burning out people. It makes the whole team more effective and collaborative.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

I don't dislike anything. I would like to see a couple of improvements in the weekly reporting as the email that is generated isn't necessarily formatted the way I would like, but it's really a minor issue for me.

**Recommendations to others considering WorkBoard:**

Make sure your executive staff learns to use Workboard. They're all busy, but if they're not using it, the rest of the organization will be much slower to adopt.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've worked for a lot of companies with really smart, dedicated people who work incredibly hard; but, while they think what they're working on is important, it may not necessarily be what the company really needs to move forward. Workboard's the first tool I've ever seen that actually ties the company's goals to the work that people are executing--so that everyone's working on the right things, not just what they think is important.

  ### 40. A True Strategy Product for Leaders

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz S. | AVP Internal Communications, Banking, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2019

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

Workboard allows me to see initiatives from the top down (FINALLY!) as well as initiatives that align or overlap from many areas of the company. I appreciate that the product's architecture allows for a more modern approach to goals that truly reflect the way they work in businesses. Workboard was the only product we reviewed that wasn't task management, and they allow for multiple views for every initiative. Perhaps my favorite perk is the integration with Asana that enables my individual contributors to work in their task and project tools without having to duplicate anything in Workboard. It's slick.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

I'm still trying to figure out charts and utilizing the Running Business Reviews beyond text and images. I want my dashboards to be better, but I don't feel that there is enough of the data I want inside of Workboard. It feels like you need to have everything in Workboard before you can make it really work - as in, every leader needs to be able to have goals in the system before things can connect well to one another. I wonder if there might be a better way to onboard for the first year...

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workboard is designed to have goal alignment, and it visually shows what is or isn't aligned. It sparked so many discussions around better planning and better key results. Ultimately, we'll be more strategic because of what Workboard provides. Such a great tool. We already know exactly how to solve for this in 2020.

  ### 41. Achieve Best Possible Outcomes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul Z. | Director, Support Operations, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2019

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

The capability to empower team members to manage work and collaborate with alignment throughout the organization. The level of engagement and quality of the people at Workboard is outstanding. The Workboard application brings OKR concepts to life with a feature set that supports strategic alignment and tactical execution. Get ready to be coached and challenged to realize your best.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

I disliked the post-it notes I was using which are now transformed into Workstream actions for all to see. I dislike spending time creating status report decks and am working to transition to communicating status through Workboard business reviews and spend time gaining alignment and driving decisions.

**Recommendations to others considering WorkBoard:**

Get ready to change how you work and view work.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Opening cross functional lines of communication by maintaining alignment and visibility throughout the organization. Helping employees understand the larger eco-system they are a part of and taking ownership of their ideas and learning what it takes to implement real and lasting change.

  ### 42. OKR Alignment is changing the business!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob D. | Director, Global Application Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2019

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

Working with Regina over the past few months has changed the way my Global Application Services team gets stuff done. Regina has helped my team own the key results so we are aligned across all of our business verticals. I love how workboard allows all of us to track progress on objectives, meet and stay aligned, and not let things fall through the cracks. As a team that is constantly shifting to unplanned work the organization and structure we have built in WB has really created a high performing team. Having retros, weekly 1 on 1 sessions, and team meetings helps keep my teams aligned even when we are not in the same geographical regions. I have been able to transform email chains into action items seamlessly. I have eliminated white board and sticky notes. We have accomplished more cross functionally in the past 2 quarters than we had in the previous year. The momentum is building and I feel like we are positioned for success as the rest of the company gets more involved in quarterly OKRs. As a company I feel like we have never been more aligned from top to bottom and we are really just scratching the surface. I learn new things about the tool each week and I am looking forward to sharing my experiences with others inside the company.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

I don't have any dislikes about the tool. The methodology around OKRs and how to form aspirational objectives has taken some time to grasp, but we are getting better each quarter.

**Recommendations to others considering WorkBoard:**

It is the best tool I have seen in over 20 years to manage work in a SaaS based company.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

consolidation of multiple tools to track work. I have removed the need for HR goal tracking, kanban, email, sticky notes, white boarding, walk ups, and micro-managing. Meetings with action items and takeaways have really helped me track my teams day to day activities.

  ### 43. Allows for a streamlined and focused goal process and execution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2019

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

Workboard allows me to report my progress on weekly/monthly/quarterly goals. It gives them the visibility to see where I am excelling and need more assistance on. It has helped me stay on track and drive to the goals laid out.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

I don't really dislike anything. The website could be a bit better tuned, but that is me being nit-picky.

**Recommendations to others considering WorkBoard:**

Great tool. highly recommended

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workboard solves many organizational problems around goal setting and visibility. It keeps the C level staff accountable. It keeps the director and managers accountable. All throughout the organization, everyone knows the goals of the quarter and we report on it regularly in meetings.

This transparency really transforms your organization for the better.

  ### 44. CoS loving WoBo!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jillian H. | Advisor, Executive Office, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2019

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

Excellent user experience. Super fast insights. Results focused. Shared visibility. Meeting management. Workstream flows. Weekly team reviews of scoring & roll up to executive level. Data integrity. Customer Service. Mobile application. Slack integration.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

I wish every company used WoBo. When I move to my next gig - WoBo is the first tool I will advocate for.

**Recommendations to others considering WorkBoard:**

The WoBo team is stellar. They are super passionate about their product and customer service is amazing despite the crazy growth they are experiencing. They set a very high bar and don't sacrifice customer experience for pace. They are excellent at asking for feedback from customers and keeping us in the loop on backlog of upgrades.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to "visually tell the story" of our business & team results to the organization in a consistent way has been fantastic. No more OKR spreadsheets, no more anecdotal scores, no more debating if the work downstream was accomplished in order to move the needle on our Objectives. Cascading up and down full organization.

  ### 45. OKR done right

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Byung C. | President & CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2019

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

Great implementation experience. Workboard enables you to create alignment in a growing business to help drive focus and achieve milestones. The team and product is very responsive and also very helpful in navigating the experience of adopting OKR methodologies.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

I don't necessarily have anything negative to say about the product or team. For us, it was quite a change to go from a different style of management(for 20 years) to the OKR methodology so there was some user adoption challenges but the team at workboard was always willing to help and assist when needed.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having the transparency throughout the organization to help individuals see how their work aligns to the company goals and what type of impact it has on not only their own functions but the company. This also helps cross function projects get into a good rhythm which ultimately helps the success of each project.

  ### 46. Workboard is a powerful tool!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2019

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

The project management features on workboard help keep my team organized so that we're aware of deadlines and project responsibilities. The tool makes collaborating easy, and the google calendar integration makes it easy to push tasks to my calendar so that I'm prioritizing time accordingly. I also love the Slack integration, as this is where our team communicates most, so it's great that important messages can be pushed directly to Slack automatically.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

The tool is slightly buggy - when typing sometimes there's a lag, so I'll need to type slowly. I use Grammarly, and this may be a reason for the bugginess I'm guessing.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better communication, organization, and prioritization for our team. Our goals are front and center on Workboard, so it allows us to stay completely focused on the most important goals of the quarter.

  ### 47. Driving results, not driving me crazy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2019

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

It streamlines the ability to gather results (time to update a key result email, etc) in a way that saves the person who is responsible for managing the OKR process a lot of time. It releases me from tracking people down for updates, and allowed that time to be used to frame conversations for upcoming staff meetings based on results, etc.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

Starting off, navigating is a little confusing when you are trying to find other organizations' KRs.

**Recommendations to others considering WorkBoard:**

if you are new to the OKR framework - hire a consultant/coach to help roll out. the framework itself is MUCH harder than the tool.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This saves time, provides transparency, and drives accountability.

  ### 48. Chief of Staff

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

At present we are satisfied with WorkBoard.

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a matrixed delivery organization WorkBoard allows us to ensure we have transparency with our business partners and alignment to achieving the right key results each quarter.

  ### 49. An OKR Nirvana

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor F. | Manager, Customer Success, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2018

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

Running with multiple objectives for the year, Workboard allows me to quickly see the status of progress for each different project leader and how we're all moving as one toward the end objective. RBRs have saved the team a ton of time in terms of crafting time-intensive powerpoints for weekly touch point meetings. I love the 1:1s and the capability for both parties to access historical topics that were discussed. The other fantastic feature would be the workstreams, for any visual person, this is the ultimate checklist that gives you a percentage of how far you've come on your personal project.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

At first, changing the KR titles/measurement scales isn't the most intuitive, but the customer success team is so amazing and responsive I quickly learned in no time :)

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company thrives on alignment and transparency and workboard has made it really easy and accessible to quickly see exactly what our executives are working toward and what marginal gains we can make on our end to continue to help push the company's success.

**What do you like best about WorkBoard?**

I couldn't feel more lucky that I had the opportunity to take Sameera's expert course on Workboard yesterday afternoon. I loved how relatable she made the class to our workflows, and how much time she took to individually help every team that wanted help to make their work more efficient and reach the goals that we are hoping to achieve.

**What do you dislike about WorkBoard?**

I dislike that we can't meet with Workboard MORE OFTEN!

**What problems is WorkBoard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to see our goals in a more clear and concise way, and are able to collaborate amongst work groups. We are also able to set meetings and define what the outcomes were in an efficient way, without over utilizing email for follow ups. The meeting agenda and objectives allow us to ensure that we keep track of all of the decisions made, and also keep track of the progress we have made. The running business review will also allow us to track the lifecycle of our unique client set up processes from an operational standpoint.
