"A friend of every developer"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Visual Studio Code is the best editor in history, and after 2017 I'm using this editor and I can point out that this is all I need. What I love most about this particular editor is actually the response time and the user interface. It supports all coding languages. I used this Visual Studio code produced by Microsoft and it's really wide and good for typing Typcript and Javascript. This is support. What is great is really integrated terminal, git tags and debugging tags, which I usually use in Property. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Visual studio code requires getting used to because it is very different from other compilers available on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, low-overhead, easy to use IDE"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

Other IDE's can be SUPER high overhead, causing my computer to freeze up constantly. VS Code allows me to code, run applications via the terminal, handle GIT and more right in one interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

The GIT interface for resolving conflicts could be better. I'm sure a plugin will eventually address this shortcoming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I've hardly gone a day in over a year without opening VS code"
What do you like best about Visual Studio Code?

The interface is very elegant especially after installing themes material or oceanic next. The integrated terminal is a thing of beauty; I prefer opening VS code to use the terminal rather than using windows command prompt. There are so many themes each performing a very specific function for almost any project you are running Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visual Studio Code?

Of late VS Code has been taking up way too much ram. The issues only started happening after the probably the March update. Everything on my computer freezes when I'm running a huge project especially Angular and goes back to normal after a couple on minutes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
