What do you like best?

It has a great user interface for marketers and teams that want to build newsletters via content feeds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Sailthru isn't designed to play nicely with other systems. If you want to pull a list of users that are subscribed via an API, they hash the emails, so you can't integrate it with your CDP. If you want to export your data, so you can have a single view of the customer, they don't have a easy way to pull the data. They just drop data into S3 buckets, and don't provide any assistance on understanding the format of the data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

It's nice I don't have any point to find regarding the system, so I like why it has worked differently, it has allowed us to automate our original marketing and allow us to expand our client portfolio and so now it is much more complete in the sense of digital marketing so it is much more detailed and for this reason it reaches more clients and automates this point of the company. What do you dislike?

I find the system attractive and it works well, but I would change certain characteristics allowing it to be perfectly coupled to other types of software in order to work with most software in this way we avoid inconvenience or failures when using the system. It definitely automates the main function that it offers us with very complete tools and they have allowed us to achieve our objectives and find new users and sales, the traffic to the web has been notorious, so we have noticed that it has worked for me that is enough to recommend it. The system has provided us with attractive solutions, our original marketing system has needed additional software to be able to expand to new customer traffic, however we have received great results regarding this automation since it has allowed the emails that are sent to our customers and they were not reviewed and the system automates to be able to send more users in order to meet the proposed objectives of a certain amount of traffic and sales people, so the work of the software is great. What do you like best?

Sailthru platform is really agile and adapts to your data model instantly. This allows you to be completely autonomous.

the combination of their Zephyr personalisation code with the easy integration of your own data feeds makes it the perfect platform for medias or retailers who update several times a day their inventory and website contents.

The reporting needs a refresh but it's getting better and better.

Sailthru has allowed to improve our engagement rates by 50% and keep a very high deliverability rate although we send out daily newsletters.

We needed an agile platform to be able to handle advanced personalisation based on preferred brands, location, language and gender.

Furthermore, we had to consolidate data from 2 different platforms into a single one.

We have been able to set-up everything in 8 weeks thanks to the Sailthru project management team

We have reduced the CRM team to 1,5 FTE as we have been able to fully automate the newsletter creation thanks to their APIs and data feed integrations.

What do you like best?

Sailthru has worked perfectly with this company, it is coupled in a very easy way for us and interacting with its interface is pleasant, no inconvenience for us, very intuitive when creating the campaigns send them by emails in this way customers can view the promotions, offers or advertisements that we want to deliver or show, in turn the interface that it offers us is very beautiful which makes it very interactive and pleasant to use, in opinions it allowed to save time specifically in the marketing area, we have also carried out different types of tests even with social networks and it has worked wonderfully. Among some points that should be improved is being able to carry out campaigns through social networks, allowing this feature to be more optimal, it is very important or convenient for your service to be able to expand for the future, in turn allowing a specific edition from the same service sailthru. What do you like best?

Easy to create campaigns, manage data feeds, see overall response to my campaigns. I also like the testing options, A/B Winner is fun to watch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'd like to be able to rank links across campaigns, to assess what the best performing links across a period of time is. At present, I have to view campaigns individually and compile the data separately. A WYSIWIG editor would be useful too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm relatively new here and had to hit the ground running. I hadn't used Sailthru before but found it very easy to get to grips with campaigns, audiences, analytics. What do you like best?

The best thing about Sailthru is that is offers up tons and TONS of analytics and data-points to analyze every detail of your email/newsletter send. There's more transparency on list growth and it's Wordpress integration is useful for our newsletter campaigns as well. What do you like best?

Loyalty - it really does pay to not switch CRM tools every few years. I'd recommend building a good rapport over a number of years with your chosen platform, the benefits can often outweigh the small upside of saving a few £'s. This does not mean you do not challenge them when the tough questions come round.

Customer focussed - the support I've received is second to none. After the first year of using Sailthru, the main reason for signing up to a second term with Sailthru was due to the timely support I received in the critical first year of setting up Sailthru.

Staying one step ahead - Sailthru values feedback, they are always looking to find out what makes us marketers tick, and with that build solutions to fit our needs.

In the four years I have used Sailthru I have seen the tool make huge steps forwards, mainly in adding new features, revamping the look and feel of the product.

Also, ever wondered what is the best time to send an email? Well the answer is, it's different for each customer/user. Sailthru has a tool out of the box which will help you personalise the send time for each customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SailThru powers all of the marketing promotions and triggered campaigns for our company, Raise. The lifecycle flows take seconds to build all within one interface, and we use these to target specific audience segments via email and/or push. Within every email, we use SailThru's algorithms to feature personalized product recommendations based on our shoppers' browsing and purchase behavior—this has generated up to 10x lift in conversion for our personalized campaigns. We've been partnered with SailThru for almost two years now. In the beginning, SailThru Mobile (push) was a bit disconnected from email, but recently it has become integrated within their core platform. What do you like best?

It is very easy to create emails and sending campaigns. The new template builder has drag and drop functionality that doesn't require a lot know how. It is also easy to see how many clicks or % where on the single items in the email. And the campaign summery shows the important things in one view.

What do you dislike?

The new template builder is more the email builder now and therefore needs some more functionality like copy & paste from one "template" to another (apparently in progress). What do you like best?

Sailthru's API allows us to constantly update customer data and custom variables on every customer to monitor their promotions, their eligibility for certain promotions or marketing.

The web interface has elements which could do with a revamp but it's functionally pretty well equipped for most tasks.

Even hunting through the history of a campaign's emails or a customer's received emails over their lifetime is super fast.. Analysis of any big sales campaign is super well visualized so we know how much revenue we're generating in real time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Custom variables on older customers can become rather cluttered - but we do have the option of deleting older and unused variables, which we should make use of!

Not being able to access certain user information in the lifecycle optimizer has frustrated us. The Lifetime Value and Lifetime Num Purchases information is available through their APIs and in the customer's view on the site but not accessible inside a lifecycle optimizer, for example. What this means is that we cannot exclude customers from certain cheaper marketing tactics if they have a strong history of purchase behavior with us. If we want that, we have to record our own custom vars to do with LTV and RPR ourselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We manage all of our email communication through Sailthru. It knows when to send the email using personalized send time for each customer to have the best chance of it being opened and clicked on. It tracks all revenue, click rate and open rate. It lets us manage a lifecycle of emails where we send a series of emails until the person makes a purchase. It allows us to A/B split test different ideas for an email to see which one performs better (eg. showing a discount percentage vs. showing the discounted price vs. hiding the discount and price altogether). What do you like best?

Sailthru is a great platform for email marketers in the ecommerce space. Their platform was build for an ecommerce centric business and have focused alot of their attention around their AI and Predictive Analytics. This has made a huge impact on our success and is what I like most about the platform to date. Their training and documentation as well as support has made it really easy to take action on the platform and feel you have the tools to do so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

One of the major dislikes about this platform is that they were build around 1 business model and that is ecommerce. While my company is an ecommerce business we aren't your traditional ecommerce site. We have alot of specific use cases as it relates to data, tracking, and reporting that Sailthru wasn't able to support during the implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Make sure that if you are not a traditional ecommerce business that you lay out all of your business needs, data needs, etc. before implementing. This would require a proper RFP document to be put in place, but it is definitely worth it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I love that Sailthru now has a feature where you can send out messaging when people are most likely to open it. I use Sailthru for internal global communications, so it's nice to know that we're not accidentally sending emails to India in the middle of the night, just so we can reach employees in LA during their business hours. What do you dislike?

I would love to see more automated analytics - like optional email reporting and the ability to compare multiple campaigns. I like to compare how our newsletters perform over time in terms of CTR and the only way I know how to do that is by manually looking at each month and inputting that info into a separate spreadsheet. What do you like best?

The program has three very good features that I want to highlight, the generation of dynamic content, great user interface and customer profile management. In the first, I like it because it offers excellent functionality to send relevant content to email subscribers. In the second, it is important to say that its functionality is clearly simple to inform and send email implementations. In the third, it gathers extensive information about the interests of each subscriber and the habits of content consumption. What do you dislike?

This program is very good, however I have a complaint that does not leave me quiet; It is often difficult to find exactly what you are looking for. Recommendations to others considering the product:

Sailthru is a highly recommended program to have your email as a fundamental tool for marketing. It is very useful in terms of reports and data on campaigns, I also recommend your purchase for the simple fact that it is a cheap program with very explicit functionalities. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The marketing department is very pleased with this program. We use it to send weekly newsletters and promotional emails. We can also have an informative client base in detail with this program. It sincerely helps us manage all email content in one place. Advertising operations is something that is also achieved in our company with its use. It works very well and gives us important benefits.
