I really appreciate the intuitive user experience with Pricefx. It excels in quoting and providing real-time prices during customer negotiation, which is fantastic. The software is incredibly intuitive, offering the right analytical data based on past experiences and invoices, aligning perfectly with customer needs. I find the price list generation efficient, and it integrates seamlessly with systems like SAP, Oracle, and Salesforce. The software is SaaS-based and continuously evolving, especially in terms of Gen AI, and offers a proactive analytical view of invoices and discounts. It's also great for keeping the pricing process upstream, dividing the price waterfall for optimization, and aligning with our commercial processes. I believe the product-based configuration is one area where Pricefx needs to evolve. Especially when building a new-to-the-world solution, it should build up its capabilities and be equally performant. Additionally, we faced challenges with the skill set available in the market. The system offers many possibilities and is flexibly configurable. This means creating tables, data sources, and datamarts without IT support. It runs very stably even with almost 200 live price grids. The system is used daily by various departments. The individual design of user groups and independent assignment of user rights is very simple and user-friendly. With self-designed datamarts, one is able to independently create charts and dashboards. Complex pricing logics can be implemented relatively quickly with the help of partners. Additionally, having a test environment (QA) where you can try out a lot is helpful. The ability to reach a support team from Pricefx by creating cases is great, and the tickets are processed quickly. Simple applications are easy to implement. The system is unfortunately not well configurable from the frontend and is rigid in its tabular form. It is somewhat confusing with a limited column supply of 100 columns and simultaneously unclear. In addition to the frontend issue, the Price Analyzer has not developed further since the introduction of the system in 2012, and many improvements are needed (usability, chart color, or chart shapes) etc. Furthermore, it is not user-friendly because you can only upload one image per item, which is a problem with 20,000 items. Here, I would expect that images can be uploaded in bulk without setting up an API endpoint, or that a web link can be uploaded per item via upload. Regarding many accelerators, there is documentation, but unfortunately, it only describes the fields and does not provide a real guide on how to properly apply an accelerator. There’s not much to dislike. Some advanced configurations require support from implementation partners, and the initial learning curve can be steep for new users.

well, kind of the whole package, you know? Like, the ease of use is really good—I don’t have to dig through a million menus or struggle to find what I need. And the implementation? Way smoother than I expected. Like, I was braced for months of headaches, but it just... worked? Which, honestly, was a nice surprise and there customer support is solid too ,they actually respond fast. My frequency of use is very high and number of features are high like enterprise pricing, optimization, and Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ).And yeah, integration? Super easy. Okay, so don’t get me wrong—Pricefx is still solid, but yeah, it’s not perfect,Like, most of the time it’s super easy to use, but every now and then, I’ll click around and think, "Wait, why is this simple thing buried under three screens?".The number of features is great but also, too many options sometimes make it harder to figure out the exact thing you want. We love the configurability of the Pricefx product. We have some unique features to our business model that just couldn't be accounted for in most off the shelf pricing tools. There's really not much that I dislike about Pricefx. So far, the product has been able to accommodate most of our needs. If I had to pick one thing, it would be around the area of audit compliance. We often need to get our developers involved to provide the level of reporting that's required by our internal and external audit teams. The platform is rather intuitive and easy to learn. Milliken has benefited from deploying the Accelerators where they were available; we only wish there were more.

Our Customer Success Manager has brought in the right people at the right time to help us with integration and user adoption. Linda's support has changed the trajectory of our program. We're also working with her and Hartwig on a value story to satisfy the initial business case and to support continued investment.

As a platform, there are many ways to accomplish the same goal. As Pricefx matures, I expect more direction around the best ways to accomplish specific use cases and more Accelerators.

The partner ecosystem is also a bit difficult to navigate; the right partner and Pricefx supporting team make all the difference.

Its Quote types and its integration to analytics. Pricefx is heavily customizable, you can have different type of custom forms which we can use for different types of quoting activities. All the quoting activities are well integrated with Analytics. Each user can use quote fields and make their own dashboard. support is very good, they are very quick resolving some issues. It requires development effort to add simple fields to the UI. I feel all the fields, columns, should be easily added by the users with no code.

As a lover of time and organizational efficiency at every level, I wish I had to click less to get where I want to go, and that I had more control over little things in the UI (e.g. folderizing different items, wrapping column header text to keep more columns in view).
