Microsoft SQL is a tool used to manage databases, meaning it stores data for users and applications to be able to retrieve this data. We use SQL as a backend to some of our applications. Setting up databases is very easy, as well as retrieving data via queries. You can also store basically unlimited amounts of data. Connecting to the databases is pretty easy as well and currently supports TLS1.2. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The speed is usually very fast but I have noticed on some clients with huge databases where there are million of results, no matter how spec'ed out the machine is, retrieving data is bogged down. You have to manage databases to make sure no single table builds up too much data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
