1. Execution Plan is very helpful in improving the query performance. They are really making it very simple to understand by showing it with nice UI.

2. Profiler helps in debugging and fixing issues in production and UAT environments, where we don't have direct access.

3. UI. Compare to other database tools like Toad for oracle and mysql, SQL Server Management Studio UI is nicely designed. Very limited buttons on screen, but clean and easy to use. Where as you have lot of buttons and options in Toad screen, but they are really confusing and difficult to find useful one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. They could have given some better option to see that which server you have connected to, specially when you have multiple windows open and connect to different servers. Let's say you are connected to multiple servers and databases in separate windows, so there are changes that without looking at right side bottom on status bar you can run the query. You may run this in production or UAT environment :(. It happened with my ex. colleague.

2. If we can get font Increase option in sql server also like we have it in visual studio. This will really help when you work on bigger monitors. Font size is really very small in bigger monitor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
