Pretty much i like the microsoft sql server a lot. But i have seen some compatibility issues with the various versions of sql server. when working on an application using one particular version of sql server as its back-end data store, you are pretty much locked to that particular version of sql server which is provided by the vendor of the application. Allow you writing more efficient queries using set of advance and basic sql library. Provides Profiler to track real time transactions. Query analyzer is great to analyse the high performance queries. Sql job scheduler is efficient to create all kind tasks easily. Support for intellisense makes it more likable.
