"Easy, Simple, Scale able, robust Database "
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

Being as consultant and more inclined towards functional side of application, its not easy to handle the database activities. SQL server is one of the powerful database server which is easy to learn and quick to understand for a normal technical guy. Database restoration, backup, security policies, role mapping is simplest compared to other database applications available in the market.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

Nothing much is there which you can say that this is not good in SQL server. However reporting services of SQL server still need improvement to have better performance. Using SQL server with Dynamics AX and where database size is 100GB plus, reporting services become dead slow or very less responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

To get the best performance, you must "tune" the system. It should come with the proper settings out of the box. The cost of the standard is much higher compared to the competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
