## Lupa – Veterinary Practice Management Software Reviews
  ### 1. Excellent PMS under constant review, with a fantastic support team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Lupa – Veterinary Practice Management Software?**

Lupa is a modern PMS designed by those working in IT, rather than in veterinary. The team is very friendly and really quick to provide support, and very open to suggestions to improve the system. The system is constantly being developed, so is improving all the time. It's easy to use and to implement, and the set-up was fairly pain-free!

**What do you dislike about Lupa – Veterinary Practice Management Software?**

There are some aspects, such as writing prescriptions and adding batches, that are a bit clunky and involve lots of clicking. The analytics module is brilliantly thought out using pivot tables, but unfortunately not all data points can be accessed through each of the data sources (patient, client and invoices). This means cross-referencing is required in some cases, which is quite annoying.

**What problems is Lupa – Veterinary Practice Management Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many PMS are designed by those coming from the veterinary field, so are easy to use for making notes and prescribing, but lack sufficient reporting structure or flexibility with the coding structure. Lupa has been built to allow many different data points to be used, and because each component is coded separately, this seems to be relatively easy for the team to implement when a new piece of data is requested. The reporting structure can still be improved, but is fundamentally set up to be able to improve. Lupa also has a relatively low requirement for internet bandwidth, allowing us to use it where it would not be possible (because of connection difficulties in our geographic location) to use other systems. The customer support team has been excellent, making it both quick and painless to sort out niggles along the way.

  ### 2. Cutting edge and a cut above the rest

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Lupa – Veterinary Practice Management Software?**

Genuinely innovative PMS with an interface which is much more intuitive and user friendly than the major competitors. I tested the majority of these PMS in real clinics as a locum before setting up my practice. New features and enhancements are added very regularly. The team at Lupa are continuously looking to innovate and they genuinely take on board and engage positively with feedback. You feel that you are part of a truly collaborative approach to enhancing a system which puts the needs of the practice first.

**What do you dislike about Lupa – Veterinary Practice Management Software?**

Initially we found that new features and updates were being rolled out before being fully tested and this could cause unwelcome bugs. This now occurs a lot less frequently, as they are more careful with the updates. Some core functionality needs to improve but again Lupa are well aware of these and there is a clear timeline for these with frequent updates.

**What problems is Lupa – Veterinary Practice Management Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A veterinay PMS system has to cover an array of funtionalities which do not easily fit well together. In most other industries I expect the functions of the equivalent of a PMS would be covered by multiple different software applications. A PMS needs first the core functionalities of being able to add and recall histories, add charges and drug labels, create invoices and record payments and schedule appointments. There are some reasonable expectations that a PMS can do much more than this and most do to some degree with inventory management and stock control, client communications, managing health plans and business analytics etc amongst many other functions. No PMS seems to be able to do all those things well across the board and it is a big ask. Lupa as a relative newcomer has taken a fresh approach to all of the above. In some areas innovated novel solutions and in others emulated what obviously works well with a few tweaks. Some areas remain a work in progress but you know that there is a genuine development taking place.

We are getting to work with a genuinely cutting edge PMS which can do most of the core functions now but is regularly adding more at a fast pace. Some of the functionality feels like it is class leading whilst others still need some work but there seems to be a continual strive to improve across the board.

  ### 3. Fantastic New System - Soon to be Best in Class!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Lupa – Veterinary Practice Management Software?**

I'm incredibly pleased with Lupa. I've been using it for the past 6 months and it has already come leaps and bounds. It functions well for me as-is, with some minor annoyances (like every system) but the difference with Lupa is that I know improvements are coming.

The interface is incredibly easy to use, scheduling appointments is quick and easy, the set up is quick, and the company are innovative, forward thinking, and responsive. Customer service is fantastic, and they take your suggestions on board for future development. Reporting is easy and customisable.

They don't just want superficial quick-fixes, they want to really develop features that are best in class across the whole system. I believe in the people behind it, their vision and dedication and I'd highly recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Lupa – Veterinary Practice Management Software?**

It's a new product, so not all of the features are working as well as I'd like. Client comms is perhaps the greatest area of weakness at the moment, but they've built an incredible and highly experienced team - I'm truly excited to see what they come up with. I think it's going to be better than anything we've seen in the industry so far, so I'm happy to wait for it.

**What problems is Lupa – Veterinary Practice Management Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Progressive, forward thinking. Responsive customer service. Great reporting. Implementation of new features rather than stagnant product development. Ease of use for a new start up. Cost effective and all-inclusive pricing.

  ### 4. Great software!

**What do you like best about Lupa – Veterinary Practice Management Software?**

I was surprised how easily I picked it up and they have a quick and responsive customer support team that are on hand for any questions so that you can really make the most of the system

**What do you dislike about Lupa – Veterinary Practice Management Software?**

Would ideally like it to integrate with more suppliers but they’re responsive to suggestions so I’m hopeful it’s a matter or time

**What problems is Lupa – Veterinary Practice Management Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integration with more suppliers - they seem responsive to suggestions.
