What I like most about LinkedIn Job Search is how it brings networking and job discovery together in one place. It not only highlights relevant openings based on my profile and skills, but also lets me see mutual connections, company insights, and recruiter activity. The “Easy Apply” feature saves time, and the personalized job recommendations help surface opportunities that closely match my experience. I also appreciate being able to research companies, view employee profiles, and engage with industry content, which makes the job search feel more strategic and intentional rather than purely transactional. One thing I dislike about LinkedIn Job Search is the intense competition and the lack of clear response visibility. Many postings show hundreds of applicants, which makes it hard to stand out. On top of that, not every employer consistently updates application statuses, so it’s often unclear whether a role is still under review or if the process has moved on. I also find that job recommendations can become repetitive or not fully aligned with more niche skills, which means I have to do extra filtering to surface the most relevant opportunities.
