Over the last three years, Learning Pool has become a most competent of trusted learning content learning partners. They are able to take the most difficult and challenging of content and effortlessly transform it into engaging digital content that resonates with the learners and gets translated into action on the job. And all for a very reasonable cost when benchmarked with their competitors. **What do you dislike about Learning Pool - Platform?** It's hard to dislike working with Learning Pool. If there are issues, then they come up with solutions and are not afraid to challenge along the way and to provide an impartial "check and balance". **What problems is Learning Pool - Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to equip our colleagues with the skills and knowledge to apply some quite complex regulatory and legal requirements to their work, in order to ensure that they can do the job out in the field. Adapt doesn't seem to have been updated in a long while, it looks a little outdated **What problems is Learning Pool - Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** We run accredited Blended Learning programmes for the Nursing Workforce and we host these on the LMS. These are in 'Infection Prevention and Control', 'Leading Sustainability for Health and socialcare', 'Leadership to Improve Physical and Mental Health' These are a mix of live virtual sessions in zoom and online resources for students to view as preparotory work before their next live session. Their assignments are marked by Coventry University and theirfor students submit their assignments to Coventry's system. We use the discussion group feature for each cohort. This is allowing us to run 4 cohorts a year for each programme ### 3. Because Learning Pool host our LMS external to the organisation it makes it much easier for our users to access. Waves seems to be good although a duplication for most companies with a well-run CRM. **What do you dislike about Learning Pool - Platform?** Coming from Absorb, this system has been a challenge. We have the LXP and did not truly understand the differences between that and the LMS offered. This system is not very friendly to "scores" with the default accountability only being completion. The video storage limitation of 700k per files has been a challenge as well causing many to be degraded to work. Although, this may just be that our organisation has not got all of the available plug ins installed. Our Account Manager and the support team is always quick to respond to questions or issues, even if they aren't urgent. We are very happy with the service we are receiving. **What do you dislike about Learning Pool - Platform?** We are finding it harder and harder to make design changes and custom pages, even the simplest ones, on our own because access to these functions is blocked. While the development team is always happy to help, we'd prefer to make the easier changes ourselves. There is a wealth of functionality that can be utilised to allow you to provide the best learner experience. Add to that the customisable off the shelf content which really allows you to own the full learning experience and deliver a proposition that is aligned to your business. The support desk are always available to answer any questions and they do so promptly and fully whether raised by phone or through the customer portal. As its a cloud based system their support team can see what we see and help us solve problems in real time. Our Account Manager has taken the time to get to know us as a business and how we want to use the LMS. They always listen to our feedback and get us involved in opportunites that they know will benefit us and them as our provider. That we can understand the inner workings of the LMS, doing our own problem solving and delivering the LMS to our business in a way that suits us. Having ownership of it means our learners can get the best out of it to suit their learning preferences and development plans whilst ensuring we remain compliant where and when we need to. **What do you dislike about Learning Pool - Platform?** We utilise the Admin profiles heavily, feedback here is very specific to certain functionality: - There are some interesting quirks in the system, i.e. you have to log out completely to log back in when you switch between users if investigating a learner profile. - It would be great to have more help on hand when new functionality is released. i.e. Dashlets, this was released with very little support on how to utilise them they way we wanted to or make them look engaging in the same way LP marketed them, ours look very 2d and flat in comparison - When a learner books onto a workshop or seminar it could be 4-5 hours before they receive their confirmation email. Consumers expect immediacy with these items generally. we would like to see this improved. - Lack of investment in improving Adapt - given we have been in a virtual delivery space the last two years Adapt seems no further forward so could be missing engagement opportunities. - The Academy - the user guides are very limited and rarely find the answers to our questions however the support team are very helpful so our default is to use them rather than use the Academy. - Sometimes there can be a disconnect between how LP advise the LMS should be used vs. how we want to use it for our business whch can negate the bespoke selling point. **What problems is Learning Pool - Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to monitor competion of all Compliance modules which is vital when working in a regulated industry. We also have the ability to diseminate learning by audience which means that when learners log in they see information that is relevant to them and they dont have to pick through irrelelevant learning. ### 42.
