  ### 1. Stable and simple backup of various Microsoft cloud services

**What do you like best about Keepit?**

Keepit simply works - it does run on the servers of Keepit, I don't need to allocate disk space for it, and they also keep in mind that I need to stay GDPR compliant, so they host the data inside Europe when I am a European customer. It does cover what we need and the restore process is simple. Also, the data is stored in a format that I can download and work with. So, even when the target system (e.g. Dynamics or Exchange Online) is unavailable, I can still download the data and "work" with it - some data is stored as JSON, so I can write custom code to work with it. Integration with Dynamics, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive for Business was very easy. The information mails about anomalities like deletion of large amounts of data are great! The subscription model did change, but the new contract partner did keep the rates, so: great!

**What do you dislike about Keepit?**

The only thing I dislike about Keepit is that a few error messages are not as clear as they could be. But the support is always very helpful.

**What problems is Keepit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to have a backup, but we don't want to have daily tasks for our IT staff to keep the backup running. Keepit has a 100% SaaS Backup approach with cloud-to-cloud data copy. This solves the problem of hosting and patching VMs for the backup service. With Keepit we can stay 100% serverless. Also, we have a backup outside the data centers of the service provider (in our case Microsoft). It's important to us, that the backup would be still available if the primary service provider (Microsoft for services like Teams/SharePoint/Exchange/...) is 100% down.

**What do you like best about Keepit?**

The best thing about Keepit is how simple it is to use, and how admin- and user-friendly it is. It’s been easy to train my fellow colleagues on how to use Keepit and handle the admin side as well.

**What do you dislike about Keepit?**

At the moment, the most requests we have received from users is email restore requests. The search can be a bit of a challenge. It's hard to search a specific type of email within a mailbox when a mailbox has multiple folders and sub-folders. We would have to go to each folder(s) and search for a specific email(s).

**What problems is Keepit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don’t think I can point to a specific problem that Keepit has solved compared with our previous SaaS backup solution, at least not at the moment.

That said, features like preview and RTBF, along with the overall performance, have been much smoother than other solutions we’ve tried and tested.

**What do you like best about Keepit?**

After some initial difficulties, I managed to get in touch with customer service and complete the onboarding to Keepit. The product was and definitely is worth it! I saw it a few months ago at the it-sa in Nuremberg and wanted to use it for our company's backup of M365 and Entra in the interest of digital sovereignty.

**What do you dislike about Keepit?**

As with any company, there is still room for improvement in some processes at Keepit. My feedback was requested due to my review on G2 by the responsible account manager and additionally by the regional manager, taken seriously, and communicated internally. It's quite unfortunate when both the phone and email channels for new and existing customers do not work and the technical support is not responsible. But I believe many companies do not test their own accessibility from the outside, but only build it internally and hope that it will work.

Sales, Customer Success, Technical Customer Service is not available.

It is really easy to search for content and restore, very useful if your user cannot remember the exact details of the lost data.

The interface is intuitive and easy to use.

KeepIT is protecting all of our M365 data, emails and Azure AD settings, across multiple offices.
Allowing us to react to issues where data is lost, deleted or otherwise. Multiple backups per day of all of our data provides peace of mind for us as a business.

Keepit convinces me primarily with its ease of use and clear user interface. The setup is straightforward, and the backups run reliably in the background without me having to worry about them. I particularly like the automatic backup of Microsoft 365 data, which is a real added value for us in the company. The restoration is quick and intuitive, even in more complex scenarios. I also appreciate the transparency in the backup status notifications – you can always see that everything is secured. What I wish for the future: a bit more stability with the customer service representatives. The frequent changes sometimes make renewals tedious because you have to start over in some cases. I hope that there will be more continuity here in the future.

**What do you like best about Keepit?**

After initially using KeepIT purely for O365 backups, we have since used it to backup other SaaS solutions aswell.  Being able to regularly backup our SaaS applications is very useful for both distaster recovery and for simple restore scenarios aswell.  It is very simple to setup backups as required and just as simple when restoring.  As you would expect, restores can be performed at a very granular level, such as simply restoring a single email or document.  Support has been very good whenever needed.

**What do you dislike about Keepit?**

There are no real downsides to KeepIT as it does what you would expect, however, it can be tricky to restore old Sharepoint / Teams sites in terms of trying to identify similarly named sites, but that is more an issue with O365 than with KeepIT.  The only thing to bear in mind for the O365 backups is that you do not set this on a schedule (say every day at 8pm) like with traditional backup solutions.  Instead, the system auto backs up the data periodically and if you have lots of data, it could be you do not even get daily backups as it takes time to backup the data.

**What problems is Keepit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

KeepIT solves our issue of backing up our SaaS data which is of course the responsibility of us as the data owners.  Whilst SaaS systems are resilient, they are not always there to restore something from a certain time ago due to user error or for comparitive purposes.  Therefore, the separate backup of this data is critical.

It is very straightforward for anyone to use, and in our experience, it performs reliably whenever we need to restore data. We back up approximately 12TB, and it has proven to be an excellent product that gives us confidence our Office 365 data is secure. The ability to restore or export data whenever necessary is especially reassuring.

It can be a bit confusing when restoring data into a mailbox with the various restore/import options presented.  Not a bit issue but once you'd done it and documented the process its dead easy.

Not sure there are things that I dislike about Keepit, but it is "sad" that they haven't yet developed the option to backup Microsoft Business Central ERP system.

We are almost effortless securing a lot data and when we can't find certain file(s) in a restore it because the user is remembering wrong when they describe what they miss.

Keepit has a great system, they have their own in house servers that store our documents, with layers of backups. In the event of losing our documents through Microsoft Onedrive, which has happened in the past, we can easily recover everything through a backup. Plus we get unlimited storage.

User interface is a bit dated. I think if the interface was easier to navigate through, it would save some time.

I don't see any problems with Keepit. In general, I think they have an adequate roadmap, so I don't believe there are any issues with their product. We are quite happy with what it offers, and in our regular market analyses, we know that we are using a leading product.

As the title states KeepIT keeps going and in the 3-4 years my company has been using KeepIT, we have never had any downtime issues. 

Its also extremely easy to use, which is ideal as i use the KeepIT everyday a week! The features of of how each solution backup-ed broken down into easy to view information, so i know exactly what i am backing up and what i am restoring.

I have only needed to deal with Customer Support once, in my time using the product and my issue was resolved quickly and has not re-occured!

There really isn't much to dislike about KeepIT as it does what its says it does and thats backing up 0365 data.

The complexity of the console, when I want to retrieve a file, mail or other, it is very difficult to get to what I want to find.

All 365 backup is a good solution for backing up all users and corporate sites. In addition, it allows us to have the copy outside the offices so it is a good way out in case of disasters. It also helps us a lot to be able to keep copies for 5 years.

The one of the most helpful feature is the restoring of 365 mailboxes, the ease of finding mailboxes and being able to browse through mailboxes to ensure i am restoring files from the correct mailbox.

The ability to be able to share mailboxes with users to search the mailboxes by sending links.

Keep IT makes it very simple added different connectors, such as Teams, One Drive.

Any issue we have had with KeepIT, has been resolved quickly and have not reoccured which is perfect.

I liked the ease of implementation and user, speed of the downloads, and the fact that the service can be used without having to license the entire tenant. We use the services to preserve data for users that are no longer with the company so we dont need that many licenses.

**What do you dislike about Keepit?**

It is very easy to get items into keepit, but its not 100% user freindly to get them out. Searching for single items like emails and such can be almost impossible. However, they now have the option to download .PST so email searching is at least a bit better.

the only other thing we didint like is that we have to license the entire tenant to be able to save individual users  teams or sharepoint info. we were told we could during implementaion but we found out this was not correct iformation.

Keepit is solving our problem of not having user backups of people we delete from our tenant. we no longer have to try and keep shared inboxes and bloat up our database just to keep emails and one drive documents. Its been a big help in retriving user documentation.

Excellent SAAS backup platform. Implementation was great and straightforward to setup. Extremely easy to use, administer and understand. Restores are completed quickly after being initiated. Support has been excellent whenever contact has been made.

We have been using it for a number of years and have yet to find anything to dislike about the platform.

It takes away the worry of costly and timely backup restores.

Well first I like its ability to backup Power BI directly and do not have to do a lot of workarounds.   The implementation was straight forward, and we can review it every day with the convieniant dashboards.

**What do you dislike about Keepit?**

I feel like some of the customer support is cumbersome.  there is a lack of integrations available for a SaaS solution.  I expected more.

**What problems is Keepit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Needed a SaaS Backup tool with immutable backups for our M365 and Power BI platforms.   It also includes Entra.

new future not coming very often. some of the licensing is very hard to understand and verify (DevOps)

I love it as you have the piece of mind that whatever document or email you lose you can always find it in there. Its easy to be used and you can give access to certain documents for a limited time without the need to download the documents.

When someone deletes a document or email by mistake or when a deleted user has info that we need to access we can always find
