The user interface is intuitive. It works well with Outlook Classic that we are already familiar with. It is very quick at suggesting folders once it has had a chance to familiarise itself with the filing system. The pricing was better than the competitor we were using previously. The product, the vendor and their pricing are all a breath of fresh air. I like CloudFiler because it works well and has an excellent search engine. The search engine's lots of filtering options by sender, receiver, date, topic, etc., make finding emails as required easy. I like how CloudFiler generally guesses the correct location for filing. This feature significantly speeds up the process. The search features are also great for finding what I'm looking for, and being able to filter is useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

CloudFiler seems to glitch and restart intermittently, which requires Outlook to be restarted. The initial setup was also fairly difficult because we tried consolidating our filing systems at the same time, meaning lots of emails had to be moved around before uploading to the new filing arrangements. We had used our Oasys email management system for many years, but unfortunately the cost soared after it was sold to new owners who didn’t want to accommodate or support a small business like ours.

Furthermore, the system required enormous amounts of local processing power and clogged up our local network; all our users need access to all projects and hence were indexing all the networked folders, multiplying the computing resources required and swamping the network in pointless traffic. This overheated my laptop and reduced everyone’s productivity.

By comparison, CloudFiler is a lightweight system using hardly any local computing or network resources, and is compatible with both our earlier versions of Outlook and the new online Outlook too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing really, I was an early user so it did have some missing features, but they are releasing improvements all the time. If you think of something, you can just email the team and they put it on the list for consideration. Beauty of a nimble team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
