**What do you like best about Gmelius?**

Gmelius stands out for its ease of use and seamless integration with Gmail and other tools. I particularly love how it transforms my inbox into a powerful collaboration hub, allowing me to assign emails to team members, track email statuses, and manage projects directly from Gmail. The automation features like email sequences and shared inboxes save us so much time and keep the team organized.

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

While Gmelius is fantastic overall, the mobile app could use some improvements. It lacks some of the advanced features available on the desktop version, which can make it challenging to manage on the go.

**What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gmelius is solving several key issues for us, especially around email management and team collaboration. Before using Gmelius, it was difficult to keep track of shared inboxes and delegate tasks directly from emails. With Gmelius, we can now assign emails to team members, track their progress, and add internal notes without leaving Gmail. This has streamlined our communication and made project management much more efficient.

**What do you like best about Gmelius?**

Gmelius has been a great tool for me as the Technical Support Team Lead overseeing a developing team because it has made email correspondence and work management much more efficient. My team of six can now collaborate more effectively thanks to the shared inbox feature. Efficiency has increased dramatically because we can now allocate emails, make internal notes, and monitor work progress without leaving our inboxes. We have also saved time using automation features to set up routines for frequently asked support questions. Gmelius has improved team productivity and customer happiness by keeping us responsive and organized overall.

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

It could be improved in a couple of areas. For example, the mobile app feels a little more constrained than the desktop version, which makes task management while on the road more difficult. Furthermore, there was a steep learning curve for a few elements at first, such as the automation and sequences, which took longer to set up and train the team. Additionally, I observed that there may occasionally be lags in synchronizing changes during periods of high usage, which could interfere with workflow. Although these problems are often solvable, fixing them would increase the platform's usefulness for our team.

Gmelius has been great for coordinating emails with my executive assistant. I like how many features there are regarding automations and customizations.

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

Gmelius can be extremely slow to load emails. Like, we're talking 10+ seconds to load an email within the Gmail app. That's quite unacceptable. I also don't like how the preview text on a board card shows the first email's text, and not the most recent email's reply. When you have to wait 10+ seconds to open an email, it wastes a lot of time.

Work needs to be done to search old emails more effectively. Filters like To: From: Date: should be added. Sometimes, old unassigned emails pop up out of no where, seems like a bug

**What do you like best about Gmelius?**

We love being able to automate who gets particular emails.   It also makes it a lot easier for our sales reps in that they do not have to go through every single email, only the ones assigned to them.

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

The downsides to Gmelius are that it is easy to share out conversations to people that shouldn't be reading certain emails, like forwarding an email to a management email list.  If the label is not removed or the "stop sharing conversation" selection is used then everybody can read the email.

The other most annoying thing is that emails that have the same sender and same subject will bundle up under the same conversation, so comments in the gmelius pane won't be assigned to a particular email.  Sometimes there are situations where you cannot change the subject from incoming emails coming from vendors, etc.  So that I would say is the biggest thing keeping me from rating Gmelius with a 10.

**What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The whole company used to have to read every single email coming in.  Now they only have to read what is assigned to them.  It gives our sales and customer service reps a lot of relief.

**What do you like best about Gmelius?**

I initally was looking for a solution to oput in place to keep my team aligned on Email Templates (since Google's native system is pretty wonky), Gmelius did just that & so much more! Aside from standardizng our templates team wide, it allows updates to be made to them, keeping everyone using the most up to date edition. It goes a step further in allowing you to add attachments, receiptents, & a function called "variables" which saves you time when dradting an email using that template. 

Gmelius has so many more functions I am slowly learning about & seeing the even greater potentional in this very helpful "layer" added to our G-Suite. I also wanted to add that the tech support you get is 5-star- From just demoing the tool, to needing real-time support, their team has been extremely helpful!

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

The only downside I am seeing so far relates to the Email templates themselves- I would like the additional function to "sort" them for the team with a more user friendly generic sorting interface. I also would LOVE the ability to add a drop-down function into the variables, this would be fantasic!

Standardizing Email templates- Team wide, & keeping every member using the most accurate & up to date edition of said template.

One of the things I appreciate most about Gmelius is how it has made our teamwork more organized and tidy. The app offers a variety of tools that allow us to collaborate seamlessly, including shared inboxes and the ability to assign tasks to specific team members. With these features, we can ensure that everyone is on the same page and that nothing falls through the cracks.

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

When a label is shared with me, I've found that it's not always possible to see old emails that were already on the label. This can be frustrating, especially when trying to search for a specific message. However, I've found that this can be easily solved by sharing the old emails individually.

**What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gmelius is helping us to solve email overload, inefficient workflow, and disorganized communication, also helped us to improve productivity, and enhance collaboration. Overall this means that Gmelius has provided us with a more efficient, organized, and productive way to manage our email communication,  solving common email-related problems, it has allowed us to focus on what matters most and achieve our goals more effectively.

**What do you like best about Gmelius?**

The templates feature is great and life saver, you do not have to write emails again and again you can import the template and just modify the content by few clicks. You can also track your emails to know when they have been opened and read. It helps me follow up better with my customers. Moreover, you get all the analytics on who opens what email and how many times, so that I can come up with more informed strategies in the future.

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

I do not found any problem with the Gmelius. The only issue is that sometimes there servers get busy and we face issue but that neglctible.

We used to face issues knowing if clients has opened our email and seen our messages or not. But with Gmelius on our side we can see when client opened our email and how many times they did.

**What do you like best about Gmelius?**

Gmelius is helping deal effectively and efficently with our main email address that is monitoed and managed by four people. After some initial bumps in the road (which Gmelius launched a quick patch) it has been working smoothly, as designed. We use the auto-routing, auto-assignment functionality, and then throughout the day my admins mark emails and Closed (or completed) or reassign it to the unassigned bucket for someone to pick up where they left off. A nifty feature is the ability to tag coworkers and add notes without having to forward. We also use their template functionality, which would be more useful if it would not override our Global Signature Template (provided by HiView).

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

Gmelius does not really have an effective training path. The learning curve was a bit step, as well as the installation was a bit "wonky". Again, it would be wonderful if Gmelius templates or responding to assigned emails did not override signature tempaltes.

**What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Double work that naturally can come when multiple resources are monitoring and managing the same inbox. As well as shared templates to help provide consistent responses to clients.

Makes it possible for us to collaborate on emails without a lot of forwarded emails. It saves us time and our support team can solve tickets witout hassel. That it is an extention to gmail so that we dont need a new software with a new flow is fabulous.

It is not always intuitive, but the Gmelius support team are really helpful and gives good advice.

Customer support. Before we used an external software that did not sync back with our gmail account. It was more difficult to get more hands in support team, and took more time to collaborate on incoming tickets. Now we communicate in one softwaer and assign tasks, and solve tickets with more efficency.

I like how simply it integrates with Email. It's so much easier than having to open multiple inboxes! I also love that it let's you track emails without another ad on. It's maybe confusing at first if you've never used something like it but it's easy to learn.

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

I wish it would work on my phone's Gmail app. That's probably the biggest thing it's missing. I believe they have an app that I could use, but that felt a little more cumbersome.

Multiple team members can access our support inbox all from their own emails. We can assign emails to different team members, leave comments, read the whole thread, as if it's all in our own inbox.

Sharing labels, marking an email's status, and chatting or messaging re a specific email and sharing a draft, Janean view within within Gmail. Gmelius web app is helpful.

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

No ability to share google contacts or import them. iOS app performs poorly and clearly has bugs. No desktop app (osx). No ability to export a selection of emails into .csv.

I contacted their support team about an issue with my servie and billing, and they got back to me inside an hour. They then dedicated a team member to helping sort it out right away, despite it being after business hours. Within 18 hours all my concerns had been addresed and managed. I'm very impressed.

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

Ultimately, it was not able to meet our team's needs because the learning curve was too steep for the detail- and focus-challenged members of our team. That's not Gmelius's problem, but it did make it more or less unuseful for us.

Unclear. We had trouble adopting or integrating it, so it's unknown to me what problems it would solve.

**What do you like best about Gmelius?**

My company uses Google Suite. Our biggest struggle was that emails would come through to everyones individual emails so a team of 4 people would be looking at the same email then filing or deleting. Gmelius has allowed my team to be more productive by using 1 inbox so the 200 emails a day is only viewed once and not 800 times. Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

One of the only downsides that I can see is that when someone is typing an email you cannot review it unless the user gives you permission. Being a manager of a team I get asked to review emails often before they are sent so this would be a useful feature

**What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As per my previous likes, this is assisiting in Productivity of my team. Instead of the team viewing each email individual this is now worked on by the whole team. So instead of 200 emails read 4 times it is only viewed once.

I like that everything goes on the same site, I'm in my Gmail, I have the extension running, and every aspect of Gemelius that is added is there as well, I don't need to go to another app or page to have it. That is the best part.

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

I don't think they have the best IA or automation functions, they could improve definitely on that, as well as more explanation content on how to take advantage of every single part of the software because I'm sure that I am not taking advantage of everything.

**What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The bigger problem we had and solved was about the shared inboxes, because we have several people working with the same emails, and having all open at the same time was caos, this way, each one of us has only their emails open and then we see the shared emails that we have.
We receive as well a lot of emails so we communicate a lot via emails, and this helps, but as I said before I don't think I'm exploiting every function.

Some automated actions are not that helpful  (changing the status to "closed" even though I click "send" instead of "send and close"). Another thing is that some aged emails won't transfer automatically to Gmelius and that causes us to forget important Work Orders.

Gmelius has been extremely helpful for us in managing our project intake from clients. It was straightforward to work into our existing workflow and has made all of our lives easier. The included features are all useful, and they continue to add new features regularly to our current subscription, making our lives EVEN EASIER. It fills a hole in our process perfectly!

The meeting scheduler tool isn't as intuitive as I'd like, it is a very good bonus feature that replaced calendly for us, but it wasn't the most user-friendly. Unfortunately, it also relies on a browser plugin, which limits the installation.

We do a lot of intake from clients via email. The Gmelius shared inbox feature has made it very easy for us to keep track of emails and disseminate them to the team to address. When you are getting a lot of emails with client requests, things tend to fall through the cracks pretty easily, but with Gmelius, that no longer happens. Additionally, the ability for us to have a direct link to an email makes referencing the emails so much easier.

I like that we can share conversations without having to endlessly forward emails. Our customers love that they just email one email address and they magically get a response from the right person in the right department because we can assign responding to the email to the right person.

I wish that you could assign multiple people to an email. I wish you could seperate an email into duplicate tickets - for example sometimes a customer sends one email but needs responses from various people and we can do that we just can't assign it to various people. I would like to upgrade to be able to filter by tag, but it's twice the price from the low to medium tier plan.

Gmelius bridges the gap between having to guess where a support ticket needs to go or the required department and it falling through the cracks where no one sees it. By allowing management to assign certain members emails that come in through our general support time through Gmelius, almost nothing has been missed because each department gets its task exclusively assigned to them.

It was a bit of a learning curve off the bat and we needed to host a meeting to explain its function to non-tech users, but with use of their guides and IT's know-how we were able to deploy it near immediately after that meeting.

I use Gmelius every day! 

Gmelius automation, templates, and campaigns have helped me increase my contacts with clients and prospects. The templates are easy to build and integrate perfectly with my Google suite and Gmail. It's a great tool to send mass merged emails through gmail. A feature I absolutely love. 

I can also integrate this tool with my Trello Boards for easy project management. 

The product saves me time, and energy, and leads to increased results!

Honestly, this has been a great addition to my, and my whole team's technology toolkit to help us get better results. I advocate for everyone to try and use this product.

The most obvious benefit is the ability for seamless integration with Google Workspaces as a ticketing management system. It is a logical extension of how most organizations already utilize their shared mailboxes to assign and track support for internal and external needs, all without setting up an additional platform such as ZenDesk.

It is difficult to justify the monthly subscription cost per license/user unless your team and volume of support tickets is low enough to allow usage of the Gmelius FLEX plan that allows up to 10 users for a flat fee.

I like the  fact that so many features are built in to one app. Features are well thought-out and new ones are always being added. Somehow Gmelius does not feel cluttered or bloated though. It works the way I work.

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

I do like the Shared Labels feature but am unable to use it. We have many nested folders and if we were to share them, it would mean a lot of set up. For example, we have a Label named Clients, and each client has its own subfolder. As we add a new client subfolder I would like it to be automatically added, but it does not work that way. We found another solution that handles this for us for now. 

Update 2023: This has not changed, so we  still do not use this feature.

Something else that is frustrating is that you cannot edit a sequence by inserting a message somewhere in the middle. For example, if I have 5 messages queued to go out one every 3 days, and I want to insert a new message between the 2nd and 3rd, I cannot do that without rebuilding the sequence from scratch.

**What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shared sales templates, shared customer service templates, new client onboarding sequences, shared In Boxes for customer service. Scheduled sending is nice for emails I write over the weekend, or in the evening that I can send later when I don't really want a response I have to deal with before the next work day. Update: Gmail allows scheduling emails without Gmelius, and I tend to use the native feature now.

I also love the fact that you can consolidate emails from a certain user or a business/ client - when you're running an agency based business that has multiple clients that you need to handle.

Managing emails and inboxes have become extremely easy. Following up on tasks, assigning them, commenting, and closing subjects is crucial in our company, and this tool helps us do just that! No longer do we need to go back and forward replying and forwarding emails, or replying "confirmed" to let anyone know you read an email and basically just creating digital pollution in your inbox. Gmelius helps us have a cleaner digital workspace and a more efficient follow-up on essential matters and tasks. It's easy to use, it adds to your inbox (not needing to open an additional tab or app), and can even work on mobile. Everything's great. It just works.

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

The notificacion bar on the right feels kind of crowded. Though it's needed and helpful, maybe a way to do it leaner would help. Other than that, everything works awesome.

**Recommendations to others considering Gmelius:**

Make sure you get a good understanding of everything you can do with this tool so you get the most of it right from the start.

Getting tasks or matters "lost" by going back and forward replying and forwarding emails, to the point where you might now know if the person responsible is actually working on it or if it misunderstood who should've worked on the task. Receiving emails to shared inboxes was also confusing since 5 people receive it, and each one of them might think someone else should be responsible. Gmelius helps by giving the possibility of assigning emails, commenting and tagging people, and allows everyone to have clear visibility on the comments and progress reported on it until the task itself is marked as closed.

Shared email sorting with assignments to members of group. All the other features demonstrated in the test that were interesting to us ended up being behind the $24/mo paywall.

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

It felt like a real bait-and-switch.  You have to do a lot to set up Gmelius - there is a lot of configuration and rule creation!.  We did that. Then they buried the ability to tag your emails using rules under SLA policies.  Assignment to specific tags and people is not SLA - just routing.  Because we only took a standard package, not a premium one, our rules broke, and nothing has been sorted since we started paying.  Now we have to fix all our rules ourselves.

We'll look for a competitor to this project that does not expect $1200/year to tag and label our inbox.

It was supposed to solve working together in a shared email space, but the limited functionality at their core product does not fit our needs.

At core paid version, you can set rules to assign to people, and that's it.  There is value in that, but most of the value is behind the higher tier package. Since you'll likely be working on a team of at least 3-4 with this, that's $75 or more a month to set rules like you can for free on gmail if you all work within the same account.

I like the fact that this tool integrates easily with Gmail (which is the platform that we use.  You can have a shared inbox and even create shared Gmail labels with specific people.

In the beginning, the tool is not so friendly, you have to use it a few times before you feel comfortable. In our personal experience, we felt kind of confused because we were unsuccessful with the first tickets that we wanted to create. We didn't know how to start sharing things with other colleagues.

The good part is that we can create tickets and assign these directly to other company members, notes and directions can be entered in the backend of an email and it shows you a status (pending, closed) so you can follow up the process of handing emails until these tickets are closed. **What do you like best about Gmelius?**

I love that you can see if another team member is in the process of working on or viewing an email message. It is pretty helpful for us not to duplicate efforts.

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

At this time, I find Gmelius to be excellent. The only issue I've faced is that occasionally I need to re-install the extension or refresh my browser because sometimes the Gmelius tap is unavailable.

**What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gmelius helps the team communicate by allowing us to leave notes in certain email threads and assigning tasks to each other. With a shared email address these tools are extremely helpful.

**What do you like best about Gmelius?**

I like the aspect that a team can see email responses, assign emails to different members, and tag users in the comments.

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

It shows emails unread if they area unread by you, so sometimes that can be confusing if you're trying to make sure someone on the team has gotten to the message.

**What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to organize and streamline communications

The number of forwarded emails has reduced a lot! Now I just share with the rest of the team and they are updated and aligned with our clients.

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

Maybe some UX questions that could improve to be more intuitive to use.

**What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Share information with the CEO and the rest of the teams (development teams, finance, etc.) without forwarding the emails. The boards are super useful too.

I love the Gmelius side notes that we can send back and forth with work colleagues

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

One negative is that when working with Gmelius it ties emails chains together...you can intend to delete once email in the chain and then all will get deleted

**What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly to help organize and work with a shared inbox that all the work group can review and see the notes

**What do you like best about Gmelius?**

Gmelius is the key to working collaboratively in Google Workspace. Where Google falls flat on its face (looking at you, Google Groups), Gmelius takes up the slack and makes every part of an inbox shareable, and assignable, among teams. Emails, groups, tags, and everything can be shared for simplified collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Gmelius?**

Once you get used to how easy it is to collaborate with Gmelius, you realise there's no mobile app for this kind of browser integration.

**What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google doesn't provide any tools for a team to effectively manage a shared inbox.
