"Comprehensive and adaptable tool, perfect for managing different business sectors"
5/5
Describe the project or task ClickUp helped with:

ClickUp offers a comprehensive suite of tools for managing tasks, projects, and team collaboration, making it an essential platform for businesses seeking to enhance productivity and streamline operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

I really love ClickUp for its almost infinite customization that adapts to our field reality. The ability to integrate various tools and types of information, such as videos and the chat section, is a real plus. The flexible hierarchy allows for great flexibility, and the Gantt charts are useful for tracking our clients' subscriptions. The calendar view is very practical for editorial planning. ClickUp is very structured for team discussions around specific tasks, which prevents information loss and boosts productivity. Finally, I find the tool very comprehensive and indispensable for group design or ideation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple Navigation and Spaces Make Project Tracking Easy"
4/5
What do you like best about ClickUp?

Navigation simplicity and Spaces concept to create different spaces for different projects and then tracking the task state with custom managed fields, However I see the space to improve the Boards view and some UI changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

On the Tasks page, there is a comments and replies section, but when someone replies to a comment, it isn’t easy to notice that a reply has been added. A clearer UI would improve visibility and make replies easier to spot. Overall, the performance is good. Also, the Integrations section should be visible on the task detail page as well, so that if an integration is missing, the user can easily find it and proceed to connect it. "Centralized Workflow with a Few Lags"
4.5/5
Describe the project or task ClickUp helped with:

ClickUp offers a centralized platform for task management, documentation, and time tracking. It allows users to manage everything from feature requests to meeting notes in one place, with customizable fields to tailor workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

I love ClickUp because it consolidates multiple tools into one platform. I use it for task management, documentation, and even time tracking—all accessible from a single workspace. It keeps everything I need in one place, from feature requests and bugs to specs and meeting notes. The custom fields are a standout feature for me. They allow me to model my development workflow accurately, so I can filter and track work the way developers think, instead of conforming to a generic to-do app format. "ClickUp: Easy to Start, Limitless Potential for Evolving Projects"
5/5
What do you like best about ClickUp?

The single most helpful thing about ClickUp is how easy it is to get started: it works as a simple tool for beginners, but has almost limitless potential once you understand its functionalities.

Our projects — textile products — are living entities. From conception to production, and from feedback to continuous improvements, they are always evolving. Statuses, custom fields, chats, and a well-structured description interface have made my work not only easier, but also much more robust in terms of traceability and quick access to critical information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

You really need to stay focused on the objective of each Field. Otherwise, the vast range of customization options can easily lead you down the rabbit hole of trying to create the absolute perfect layout for every project.

Also, the limitations of the Free plan can be reached quite quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

I love that ClickUp integrates everything into a single platform. It's especially useful for commenting on documents that turn into tasks for follow-up, uploading and downloading videos and files, and having real-time chats with different parts of the team. Additionally, the integration with artificial intelligence and the documentation are noteworthy, along with its ease of use. The initial setup is easy, onboarding for new teams is simple, and the evolution with AI is very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Centralized and Scalable Platform for Modern Project Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I find most helpful about ClickUp is how it centralizes project information while still enabling strong collaboration and reporting. The platform offers excellent dashboards, flexible customization through custom fields and templates, and solid documentation and knowledge‑management features, which makes day‑to‑day project oversight more efficient. It also integrates well with Azure DevOps and includes outstanding AI capabilities to accelerate and support your work, helping you build your own skills and speed up tasks. It also provides automation credits that simplify several project‑management activities.

Overall, it stands out for collaboration, dashboards, reporting, and capacity planning, and it delivers well‑optimized capabilities for documentation and knowledge management.

Additionally, the quality and responsiveness of customer support add to the overall experience by helping resolve issues quickly and keeping the platform reliable in a fast‑paced environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

ClickUp lacks native finance‑management features, offers only basic risk‑management capabilities, and its schedule‑management functionality is not as strong as what other tools provide. These limitations introduce friction when trying to manage end‑to‑end project oversight within a single environment.

Additionally, the platform has constraints in how spaces and multi‑level folder structures can be organized, which can make it harder to design a clean and scalable information architecture for large or complex teams.

There are also many apps available inside ClickUp, but several are still at early maturity levels, missing essential options that would be required to make them fully operational for complex organizations (Timesheet). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outstanding Versatility and Customization, But Overwhelming for Those Who Only Use the Essentials"
5/5
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I love the versatility and the number of options ClickUp offers for each role. The automations are quite useful, and the AI helps me understand or find information. Additionally, it's very easy to customize everything according to the needs of each project and create our own templates, which speeds up projects with similar characteristics. The ability to configure lists for generic or specific tasks stands out for its flexibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

My team sometimes feels overwhelmed with ClickUp because they don't need so many options and don't understand what's where due to having too many. I think it could improve if only the necessary options for certain roles were filtered, so they don't feel confused with so many available options. Also, when assigning permissions, especially for guests, there could be more detail in what they see, as too many views or options appear that aren't necessary. Additionally, although it integrates with Discord, I feel the connection is limited and lacks options like those with Slack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched ClickUp Flexibility That Keeps Our CRM and Automations Running Smoothly"
5/5
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I love ClickUp’s flexibility. There’s no other software that lets me implement my ideas the way ClickUp does (believe me, I tried!).

Our primary CRM lives in ClickUp, and we use automations for onboarding, offboarding, and subscription renewals, which makes it easy for the whole team to stay on top of the customer journey. The integrations with the software we use most (through Connected Search) also keep ClickUp top of mind throughout my day whenever I’m trying to find something. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

All the flexibility comes with a cost, and in this case the cost is that ClickUp looks busier than other platforms. This makes adoption a challenge, specially amongst non-tech savvy teams. Patiently covering what to focus on and how to find the most used tools is how I managed this challenge, and it worked every time. Whiteboards or Documents with quick links also helps. "Intuitive and Customizable, with Great Lists and Shared Docs"
4/5
What do you like best about ClickUp?

Clickup is easy to customize and offers a wide range of features. I especially like the lists and the built-in shared docs for process documentation. Overall, everything feels intuitive and straightforward to use. We have a diverse team who customize the platform to their liking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

We didn’t end up using the AI features. At times, the amount of flexibility and customization means it can take longer to set everything up in the best way for our needs, but their support has consistently been responsive and helpful whenever we’ve had questions.
