What stands out most for me are ClickUp's AI features — specifically Agents and Brain. The newly launched Super Agents feel like genuine AI teammates rather than just another automation tool: you can @mention them in tasks and comments, assign them to handle recurring work, and they operate with full visibility into what's happening across the workspace, so nothing gets done in a black box. It's saved my team real time on repetitive workflows like status updates and task triage that used to eat up hours every week. Brain (now Brain²) is the other feature I keep coming back to. Because it has direct context on our tasks, docs, and conversations, it doesn't give generic answers; it actually understands what's going on in our workspace, so I can ask something like "what's overdue on Project X" and get a real, useful answer instead of having to dig through boards myself. The fact that it also lets us switch between different AI models depending on the task, without juggling separate subscriptions, is a nice bonus. The formatting options are pretty limited compared to what I'd expect; there's not much flexibility around things like cell styling, borders, column sizing, or conditional formatting. When I'm trying to present information cleanly in a doc, I often end up fighting the table editor instead of just being able to format it the way I want. What do I like best about ClickUp? Everything. No, seriously. I've been using ClickUp for several years now, and the way I can continuously work it into my workflow is amazing. ClickUp is my task manager, of course. But pretty much all of my AI workflows involve ClickUp at some stage - my dispatcher picks tasks up from my lists to run each morning. As something goes through a pipeline, notes are added to the task. If something goes sideways (which, of course, something will), I have the information needed to fix things. If I had to cut my stack down to four tools, it would be ClickUp, Google Workspace, Slack, and Claude... and with ClickUp, I know I could cut that list down more. However, ClickUp updates flow through to Slack and email. Claude has it doing things I did not know were possible. The performance has been top-notch, support has been amazing, and the pricing, well, I'm on the free level, but with a small team (me and Claude!), I could upgrade and get access to Brain2.... I love being able to sort by task types and see all of the icons grouped together. It helps me group different kinds of work together across all of my spaces in my workspace. And having custom fields that are for task types only puts my mind at ease. I now know that I'm not forgetting anything in my task input stage. It's all right there! I also am able to keep my documents in clickup which allows me to create meeting minutes and then embed tasks right in those minutes. The Space \> Project \> List & other view formats hierarchy is very helpful to manage multiple projects at the same time. It's really customizable and integrates well with other software, like Microsoft 365 apps, HubSpot, Figma, and more. I'm starting to explore Brain 2 and the concept of having the LLM available where you do work + with full context of your and your team's work, sounds like a no-brainer. For example, when I open a dropdown, it doesn't display all the options (even if I scroll down). I have to close the dropdown, then reopen it so it refreshes and displays everything.
