What do you like best about Carepatron?

Update: The free offering is a bait and switch. I am now unable to access my account because I have supposedly used 279% over the 1GB. To be clear, I have one client record that includes intake docs, two or three appointments and the resulting invoices, and two 2-line chart notes. No payments have been processed through the platform, no telehealth, no transcripts and no progress notes. I am not currently interested in upgrading to a bigger package with features I don't need and won't use at this time.

I like using Carepatron for its ability to manage my virtual private pay clients. It provides a HIPAA-protected platform in which to send documents for signatures. Being able to sync the calendar seamlessly is great for managing appointments across multiple platforms without worrying about double bookings. I appreciate that you can turn the client scheduling feature on or off, allowing me to manage appointments myself. The capability to create different service types is helpful, allowing me to set up full pay appointments, sliding scale clients, and different rates for consultations and assessments. Editing forms and using the templates to create documents is convenient. I also find the platform user-friendly for easy and quick setup, and it's not overly expensive for a solo practitioner like me. Overall, Carepatron provides more control over my work as I can do billing myself, and it's a good fit for privacy with private pay clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Carepatron?

Updated to add: I feel scammed by the free offering. My access has been blocked and it is being claimed that I have used 279% over the free 1GB. I have to pay to upgrade in order to get into my account. The first, and only, support call available is two weeks away. I have had to communicate with someone over email.

I wish the calendar sync was available in the free version, but I get that not everything can be free. Editing the templates was a bit awkward to figure out because of the formatting, so it wasn't as simple as just uploading a Word or PDF document, but it went smoother once I got the hang of it.
