"My review on Azure portal"

What do you like best about Azure Portal?

Obviously the first thing I would give majority is like the UI it is having, which lets us see and catch the management features at left hand side and res of operation of those features on right hand side. It's easeof implementation is the thing I was a likehitter off.Its Ease of integration is at its best. What do you dislike about Azure Portal?

What I feel the main backdrop or most disgusting feature in the azure portal is like its ticket raising or or else issue tracker type of thing. Whenever user experience experiences an issue, one goes to raising the ticket, but the feature should be shown highlighted itself.Mainly, Customer support needs to be assisted at its best and ease. Then obviously the frequency of use count of its will also increases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Azure Portal?

Azure Portal increases the security of employee logins by forcing Multi-Factor Authentication through a secondary device. Obviously, this circumvents a (thieving) person's ability to steal just one device and hack in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Portal?

I dislike that Azure Portal requires the use of a personal device. For large corporate companies, it's impractical to imagine that the IT department is supplying every employee with a personal device just so that they can log into laptops and/or PC's. Instead, Microsoft has built this entire portal based on the assumption that employees have smart devices and are willing to use them to log into company devices. I don't think it's very nice and I dislike that Microsoft did not enable any other way to login. Many times I don't log in to the Portal until I need to use a certain application that requires it, because I am not on my personal device during work so it's not easily accessible for log-in purposes. I do use a backup phone to support this requirement, so sometimes I don't even have it charged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Too many options"
3/5
What do you like best about Azure Portal?

Azure portal surfaces many (but not all) of the switches and knobs for Azure's cloud offerings. This benefits the discoverability and to some degree provides a way of learning about the various features of each type of offering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Portal?

Its too much. Its very easy to get lost in the weeds deep inside some menu and not be able to find your way to that specific blade again. The rendering of the UI uses fixed positioning, which just means that its not terribly mobile friendly. And, often its rather slow to respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A single place to manage everything Azure-based."
3/5
What do you like best about Azure Portal?

One-stop shop for all your Azure settings. The portal provides the ability to control all your settings for your applications, pools, directories, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Portal?

The learning curve for Azure Portal is extremely steep. It is easy to get lost when using it for the first time. A lot of features are enabled that you may not ever use and there doesn't seem to be a way to really hide them from search options. Terminology is also intensive. There is a lot to learn between understanding how to identify what exactly is part of your specific product solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Azure Portal?

Love being able to create my own http request functions. This feature adds a lot of functionality to other products like Nintex because I can finally write more complex functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Portal?

Many Microsoft tutorials I have found online do not work or are missing steps. I had to follow 8 different tutorials to get bots working in teams. And even then it still took trail and error to fill in the gaps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Azure Portal?

Azure portal is web based UI allows you to manage cloud resources and user access to these. Different color themes will help to customize it as it is comfortable for you. Customizable dashboards will help to see all required resources and some basic information on single page. Good solution for deployment of single resource and adjust some properties of existing ones. Great Azure Active Directory managing experience, forms are intuitive and lets you quickly manage your users and applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Portal?

totally unusable for mass deployment of resources, you will have to use ARM templates and PowerShell or Azure CLI for it. Does not allows access to deep tuning of some resources, not a concern it is even helpful, that unexperienced staff will not break anything, but can be annoying sometimes. Not very good UI responce, portal can work slo Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
