**What do you like best about Axios HQ?**

I use Axios HQ primarily for all our internal communications, like weekly company updates, executive messages, and HR announcements. It makes our communications look super professional and aligned with our brand, which has been a game-changer for getting people to actually read the important stuff instead of just skimming. The combination of the "Smart Brevity" style makes our emails much more digestible, ensuring everyone gets the essential points. The templates are also a huge help, allowing me to plug in content and achieve a polished look without spending too long formatting.

**What do you dislike about Axios HQ?**

I find the mobile experience could be better. I occasionally need to make quick edits on my phone before something goes out, and it's clunky. Usually, I just wait until I'm back at my laptop. The editor can feel a bit rigid sometimes. I get that the structure is the whole point, but there are moments when I want a little more flexibility with formatting and it won't let me do what I have in mind.

Axios HQ improved our internal communications by transforming them into professional and engaging formats. The 'Smart Brevity' style ensures messages are read, not skimmed. Templates save time and maintain consistency, making sure everyone is on the same page.

It’s frustrating how slow it is. At times, it feels like it’s still in development, and I often run into glitches.

**What do you like best about Axios HQ?**

Axios HQ is very easy to set up, train people on, and use right away. It immediately streamlines writing internal communications and allows our large organization to constrain messages going out to our staff. The calendar and edition planner allow us to schedule out messages and collaborate with different authors. We have been able to send out multiple large audience emails per week fairly easier. Also, I have been impressed by the speed of new features/improvements as well as the account support from the Axios HQ team.

**What do you dislike about Axios HQ?**

There are a few basic features that I would like to see added on formatting and grammatical/spelling checks. I also think the analytics could be easier to use and draw insights from, but I know these fixes are in the works!

**What problems is Axios HQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Limiting the number of uncoordinated all staff emails to the most relevant information people need to know. We are able to catch random messages that would otherwise be sent without my knowledge and ensure they are put into readable format.

**What do you like best about Axios HQ?**

I love all the features that allow me to quickly create content for my staff.  This includes images, the AI content writer and even the option to pull content from previous communication.  I use the data feature consistently to assess how often communication is opened and clicked through, as well as identify families who might be missing out on critical school communication.

**What do you dislike about Axios HQ?**

I have not run into many downsides with using Axios HQ.

**What problems is Axios HQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We send out lots of links to different resources that we used to embed within lots of text when we sent emails from our basic work email.  Sometimes links or resources got missed and caused staff to not have access to critical information.  The Axios content boxes and features like the 'click' button have allowed families and staff to quickly find the resources they need.  Also, the click rate for links within the email increased.

**What do you like best about Axios HQ?**

Brevity not only makes it a snap to write clean, crisp content, but it's actually teaching me to be a more precise writer. Easy interface, lots of stock images, and intuitive dashboards make it easy to measure how we're doing. It was also super easy to implement the system and to integrate it with our existing Microsoft AD. I use Axios just about every day for internal communications and our staff is pleased to be kept "in the loop." I haven't needed much help from customer support, they when I do reach out they are always quick to respond.

**What do you dislike about Axios HQ?**

No problems yet to report. So far everything has been smooth.

**What problems is Axios HQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us keep our messages brief and on point, which has increased our open rate and led to a more informed staff. And it saves me time by offering AI assistance.

I was interested in their software. Since I think part of losing time goes into figuring out the best communication practices.

**What do you dislike about Axios HQ?**

Im a freelancer  and I couldn't try it  because it requires a company email . While most of the platform I have used , do have the availability for emails that are not a company domain.  This is will not even let me register for a meeting to check out the product. 
Please have more opciones available for people like me , that we are not in a company but hasslesing on our on  to check out this tools.

I work with a  team of Frelacers , in different parts of the world , its very difficult to communicate and follow up in a different time schedule. Wanted to check if this software was going to support our work.

**What do you like best about Axios HQ?**

One of the things I really appreciate about Axios HQ is how easy it is to build newsletters using past templates. Being able to schedule sends, manage distribution lists, and track who opens or doesn't receive the newsletter makes the whole process incredibly efficient.

The post-send analytics are another feature I enjoy—it’s fascinating to see who views and reads the newsletter, clicks into links, and engages with the content.

The Smart Brevity AI feature has been a game-changer. It helps me find the right words when I’m stuck and allows me to adjust the tone—whether I want it to sound more concise, exciting, or motivational. I love seeing the different ways a message can be phrased—many of which I wouldn’t have thought of myself.

It takes the pressure off having to get it perfect on the first try. Smart Brevity helps fine-tune the message and makes writing faster and more impactful.

Lastly, the image tools and visual options available make it easy to enhance the look and feel of the newsletter.

**What do you dislike about Axios HQ?**

While I really enjoy using Axios HQ, there are a few areas that could be improved to make the experience even smoother.

When I check who wasn’t able to receive a newsletter (due to delivery issues), I have to reach out to Axios support to fix it. I’d love to have the ability to resolve those issues myself within the platform.

Another limitation is the lack of font or text size customization. I understand the value of maintaining a consistent, branded look—and I appreciate that—but having some flexibility would be a nice-to-have for special use cases.

Managing the distribution list also feels a bit manual. Currently, I have to export contact data from our request system, reformat it into Axios HQ’s accepted structure, and then upload it. It would be great to have a way to connect directly to our internal distribution lists or workplace contacts to simplify this process.

Lastly, I think adding short video guides for common tasks—like linking text or preparing distribution lists—would be super helpful, especially for newer users who don’t want to rely on trial and error or customer support.

I'm afraid I haven't kept up with the new improvements.

We use Axios HQ for our membership wide newsletter. Its makes it easy to convey complex information in a digestible way. I do think there's alot of ease of implementation and it's very user-friendly so that other departments outside the comms shop can run their own newsletters but still keep an organization-wide brand consistency.

I would like for Axios to check in a little more to make sure everything is going smoothly and to preview new features that are in the works.

Two features would enhance my experience: the ability to embed HTML code and variable data - especially first name.

The functionality of it, the new updates, user ability. Frequency of use, we use it monthly to send out a newsletter, the report is very clear when getting the results back, the ability to add stuff in our newsletter and get the point across.

Axios HQ is a dream for taking complex topics and distilling them down to actionable, quick takeaways - from the c-suite to coordinators. It's user-friendly, intuitive, and streamlines our processes for getting out industry newsletters to travel and tourism businesses. Integrating it into our workflow has been smooth. It speeds up what were once frustrating processes.

**What do you dislike about Axios HQ?**

Unfortunately, since we use the HTML download to send through Salesforce instead of sending directly through the platform, we miss out on certain features and analytics.

Usability is great. It's structured but accounts for the times you will need to "step outside the box'".

Sometimes I do not understand the rationale for it's suggestions, specifically the bolding of words. Not a major issue but it can be annoying at times.

I need to keep new hires up to date on company happenings between offer signed and their start date. This system allows for a fun. engaging way to deliver content vs a boring email.

UX is great, although sometimes tweaks cause a bit of relearning. However, it's such a great overall system that the curve is super short.

I just want to be able to build a deck of templated cards that I can select for planning purposes. I love my team and the developers, but it's been two years folks!

**What do you like best about Axios HQ?**

AxiosHQ is overall very easy to use compared to other mail platforms I have used. Designing an email is rather easy, and I like the simple one-column email layout, which tends to be much better at cross-client compability. Directory sync is a convenient feature to keep my audiences updated, and it is very easy to set up different email series with their own audiences as well as different groups of writers/editors.

I also like the reporting functionality in AxiosHQ. It's pretty simple to see the latest stats on my open rates and click rates, without too much detail.

AxiosHQ also includes some unique features that help you get the job done. The AI assistant can provide some helpful input on revising writing, especially making it more concise. The AI image generation tool comes in handy, as does the nice supply of stock photography.

**What do you dislike about Axios HQ?**

AxiosHQ lacks some simple features that keep it from being perfect for an email solution. For example, you cannot do a "mail merge" to insert someone's name into the emails. When you use directory sync, you can only sync contacts into the audience as a whoel, not into a specific audience segment (such as "staff" or "faculty"), which would be convenient.

It is also lacking some refinements in the email design capabilities. For example, it should be super simple for the user to define a color for all links, rather than having to go change each link individually. They look much more professional in brand colors rather than browser defaults.

I can share that some people find the layout option to be too constraining, however I see its simplicity as a positive most of the time.

One additional frustration: emails don't have names or titles. Instead, they are known by the subject line. That makes it difficult to juggle mutliple emails with the same subject line but slightly different content (such as a newsletter for faculty and staff where there's one difference). Or, to be able to call something "October newsletter" instead of having to remember that "Hope you enjoy these professional development workshops" is the October newsletter.

Sometimes you just need to fire off an email to your audience without having to worry about flashy templates that might not display right in some people's emails. Axios HQ gets the job done.

**What do you like best about Axios HQ?**

I love how Smart Brevity helps focus communications and how Axios HQ allows you to design emails/newsletters in an eye-catching way. The metrics allow me to see what people like and gives me ideas on how to improve communications, and the AI assistant really helps push past writer's block. It was extremely easy to get started with Axios HQ, and the customer service has been nothing short of fantastic. I use it every day, and I've had very few issues.

**What do you dislike about Axios HQ?**

Only fairly minor, technical complaints. For instance, if you upload a list of email addresses for a send and one of the email addresses is invalid, it doesn't tell you which one.

**What problems is Axios HQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has solved my need for readership metrics, designing emails in an html format, and focusing communications. It has been invaluable for my company's mass-communication needs.

Managing the audience lists across editions could be a lot easier.

We have many editions so manually uploading/or removing the same list of contacts to 10+ editions is tedious.

I like that it's collaborative and that it syncs with Workday. I use it every week. The customer service is good.

**What do you dislike about Axios HQ?**

It is a little too "user friendly" in the way that Mac systems are that actually removes agency from the newsletter writers who are likely more experienced with HTML and including multimedia things. I am also no longer able to use a gif as a header image on a series.

I like the smart brevity prompts and AI assit so I don't even have to think about half of what I'm doing. They are also very responsive when you need help.

Getting our IT integration process all set up was a bit bumpy. There are still a few limitations with the tool, but we have made suggestions and continue to learn to maximize it for our use.

There are some small inconviencences to accessing old emails and resending. Overall, this is not a huge issue and the tool is fantastic.

The design capabilities are limiting. Some of this is intentional to fit the smart brevity model - but sometimes you want more control of ver images and text than it allows for.

I've seen my team of writers become more confident in their skills and hone their craft by using Axios HQ. They are stronger writers and editors, and our organization's message gets across more clearly to members. I would reccomend Axios HQ to any organization that wants to have a bigger impact.

If you are super high tech and want lots of control over emails, Axios HQ has some limitations. But It offers lots of flexibility and customizations for the average newsletter if you don't have anything too crazy.

My team can write faster using Axios HQ so we can focus on other tasks. Our messages come across loud and clear to members to inform them of everything they need to know.Axios HQ is always introducing new features included with its tool!

Many things to love:
-Very deliverable and widely accepted by email services.
-Great news format for easy reading and information delivery.
-Smart brevity is an amazing tool to make it simpler to compose your newsletter.
-Straightforward work area.
-Ability to collaborate among several users at the same time on the same newsletter edition.
-Library of templates and previous newsletters available to reuse evergreen content.

It is limited in the graphics area, however they are making headway towards better graphics and design tools with their plus service.

The AI features pushing you to write in the "Smart Brevity" format are very, very helpful. The collaboration tools are easy to use and intuitive. We have been able to increase the amount of important information we share with our members and do so in an easy to read and understand format.

The only thing that doesn't work for us is an integration with our membership database. This is not a dealbreaker and HQ has been adding integrations for other platforms that should work for most organizations.

By using HQ, we are able to send better newsletters to our members. The information and format is better while also significantly streamlining the our internal procedures.

The ease of writing. I save countless hours with my copy for internal and external newsletters. The smart brevity and AI features help me find what I need to write about and give me a good starting point. The customer support is also top notch with the chat feature.

Contact implementation. I hate to compare but i wish there was a similar contact mangement as Contact Contact has. Each newsletter is different and I wish there was  a central audience section where you can assign series too or even mass delete/unsubscribe if they are not active emails.

The constant implementation to make the already great features better. AI suggestions, tailored smart brevity.

The platform is incredibly intuitive and easy to onboard and train new members. The chat feature is really helpful when it comes to answering questions and recieving support. I'm also very impressed with the metrics you're able to extract for analyzing readership and user behavior with our communications.

**What do you dislike about Axios HQ?**

It's a pretty new product! There's a healthy amount of quality of life improvements on their roadmap that I can't wait to see implemented, such as a calendar view of all communication series. However, the team is very good at providing consistent monthly updates and helpful resources as new features are added.

**What problems is Axios HQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Axios HQ is able to consolidate all of our different communications series from around our organization into a single place. We able to onboard team members that are not a part of our communicaitons team, with ease, while able to keep branding, style, and messaging consistent across the firm. It's also easy to dive into areas we need to improve our communication efforts, based on the engagement data we are able to view in the platform.

I  love that Axios HQ is constantly updating its platform based on feedback from its users. Axios HQ allows me to easily compose a one-off or newsletter. I can add photos, links, polls, and more that are displayed cleanly and make it easier for employees to digest my company's communications.

Axios HQ could do a better job at organizing audience lists as well as more customizations within the design of each communication

They solved the problems I had with adding multiple photos and cropping them. That streamlined the time it took to add photos to the platform. Also, they do a good job at fixing bugs routinely.

The only thing that I don't like is that every newsletter has to have a different audience and you cannot edit audiences across the board.

I work with clients who use Axios HQ as the staging for their email newsletters. The Axios HQ platform serves as a great collaboration tool to allow us to clean up the text, work through questions on content, and get the content ready to be sent to external readers.

**What do you dislike about Axios HQ?**

I think some some additional collaboration tools would be helpful for users who are going through multiple drafts with their content. Also, it seems like some of the options (like version history) go away once an email is sent. It would be great, looking back, to see who made a particular change (especially if the change created an issue with the content).

Collaboration with internal and external contributors and polishing for final email send.

I feel like since they are newer the tiers of plans can be confusing on what you need or should get.
