What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

Salesforce allows our team to log detailed information about opportunities, with strong visibility and transparency across the organization. In addition, we can view a donor’s historical interactions and collaborate as a team to manage larger gifts due to the ease of use. Most of our users are in Salesforce on a daily basis. What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

For larger teams, it can be costly as there are per user costs, data costs and file storage costs. Integration and implementation can take some time, but don't let this persuade you into using something else. Salesforce is a powerful platform and customer support is available and extremely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All Your Customer and Pipeline Info in One Place with Agentforce Sales"
5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

What do you like best about Agentforce Sales?

What I like best about Agentforce Sales is having customer, account, opportunity, and pipeline information in one place. It gives me better visibility into where each opportunity stands, what follow-up is needed, and which accounts need attention. For someone managing multiple prospects and client relationships, it makes it much easier to stay organized, track activities, collaborate with the team, and focus on opportunities that are most likely to move forward.

What do you dislike about Agentforce Sales?

The biggest downside is that the experience depends heavily on how well Salesforce has been configured and how consistently the team maintains the data. There can be too many fields, steps, or screens for relatively simple sales updates, which can make CRM administration feel time-consuming. Reporting and customization are powerful, but some changes may require administrator support rather than being something a salesperson can quickly adjust on their own. "Flexible, All-in-One Sales Visibility with Strong Automation and Reporting"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

I like the flexibility and visibility Agentforce Sales provides across the entire sales process. It allows us to manage leads, accounts, contacts, and opportunities in one place while customizing sales processes to match specific business needs. The automation, reporting, dashboards, and integration capabilities help reduce manual work, improve data quality, and give sales teams better visibility into their pipeline and customer relationships. What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

One challenge with Agentforce Sales is that configuration can become complex as business requirements grow. Managing automation, permissions, record types, page layouts, and integrations can require significant administrative effort. Some seemingly simple requirements may also require additional Flow configuration or custom development, which can make troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance more time-consuming. The platform exhibits an outstanding level of organization, facilitating streamlined workflows and allowing for a user-friendly experience. Its ability to effortlessly integrate with third-party systems further demonstrates its adaptability and relevance in today's interconnected technological landscape. Moreover, the ease with which the platform can be customized to meet specific needs showcases its versatility, making it an invaluable tool for a wide range of applications.

As I look forward to the implementation of the Einstein GPT, I am confident that its cutting-edge capabilities will revolutionize the way we approach tasks and problem-solving. What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

Cost: Salesforce Sales Cloud can be quite expensive, especially for small businesses or startups. The pricing model can be complex, with additional costs for certain features, storage, and support.

Frequent updates: Salesforce releases updates frequently, which can be both a strength and a weakness. While it ensures that the platform is up-to-date with the latest features, it can also disrupt workflows or create compatibility issues with customizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Data Layer for Automation, Integrations, and Accurate Sales Operations"
4/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

What I like most about Agentforce Sales (formerly Sales Cloud) is the underlying platform and data layer, not the seller-facing UI. Most of my work happens in the object model, automation, and integrations—things like custom pricing logic, compensation calculations, rebate structures, and dashboards. That’s the work that makes the platform genuinely usable and accurate for reps, as opposed to the day-to-day screens they click through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

My biggest frustration with Agentforce Sales (formerly Sales Cloud) is that the platform’s data and governance layer isn’t clean or reliable enough on its own. I end up building the governance myself, whether that’s custom pricing cheat sheets for VBR/UPD/PTC/CCF or manually investigating billing gaps, instead of the system enforcing it natively. Data pipeline issues compound this: integration work like the Boomi to Databricks migration surfaces bugs (like Calculated Insights reading UTC as EDT) that skew metrics I’m accountable for. And any meaningful platform change, like the Opportunity Stage Redesign, comes with a heavy manual UAT cycle rather than built-in confidence that the change is safe. "Great Agentforce Salesforce Demo Experience"
4/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

The demo was really helpful in understanding the overall Agentforce capabilities. I liked how the agent can understand user intent, access Salesforce data, and take actions instead of just providing responses. The end-to-end Service Cloud use case was particularly useful. It would be great to see more real-world use cases and integration scenarios in the next session. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Data Access, Needs Visual Upgrade"
4/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

I like how Agentforce Sales allows us to pull information across multiple records just by asking the agent, making it easier for our sellers. I also appreciate that everything is included in one platform, with multiple systems feeding data in, whether it's customer success needing information from sales or vice versa. This integration makes things a lot easier for our organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

I wish the interface was a little bit more visually appealing. It's very text-heavy. I know that I've seen some things and it's getting better. And then two is just a data problem that has nothing to do with the actual agent itself, and they're making strides to make that better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

Build an agent” can disguise a lot of implementation work. The demo experience is relatively straightforward; production quality is another matter. You still need reliable data, permissions, grounding, actions, guardrails, evaluation, observability and exception handling. Salesforce itself recommends limits such as no more than 10 actions per subagent for best performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust, Flexible Pipeline"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

The robust pipeline management capabilities and the flexibility to customize fields, flows, and automations that adapt well to different sales processes. The native integration with other Salesforce modules and granular permission/profile controls also make administration significantly easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Sales Cloud?

The steep learning curve for advanced customizations and the complexity of Apex development for non-standard requirements. The pricing model can be restrictive when scaling users, and managing data quality and user adoption across large teams requires significant ongoing effort. Also, the constant platform updates sometimes introduce breaking changes that require re-testing custom configurations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
