## Workbooks Reviews
 ### 1. CRM, projects, marketing, and reporting all in one flow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kumail R. | Client Success Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

After bouncing back through several CRM’s that promised heaven and ended up being a mess, with Workbooks I finally felt the pieces fit together. I appreciate not having to jump from one tab to another all day; here the CRM, projects, and business automation really coexist. I had just been keeping track of clients, budgets, and tasks on different planets, and being able to connect everything from the first hello to the final payment brought me back to life in terms of productivity. Being 100% cloud, I forget about rare installations or maintenance; I enter and work, something that any team who does not want infrastructure clutter will appreciate infinitely.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Customization is a double-edged sword. It’s so powerful that if you jump into the platform without having a clear idea of your own processes, you can easily end up spending hours setting up features you don’t even need. It’s definitely a tool for people who already know what they want to track and measure, not something you use to just improvise as you go.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We set it in motion to retire that bad habit of trusting everything to memory or loose messages that end up lost. By centralizing the commercial pipeline and after-sales service, improvisation disappeared completely. I remember a quarter-end where, for the first time, we didn’t have to go guessing the results; the integrated reporting gave us the real and accurate numbers ahead of time. It wasn’t a magical transformation overnight, but the order and foresight we gained were totally worth it.

 ### 2. All-in-One CRM with Room for Modernization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tordsen A. | Facilities Admin Specialist, Facilities Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

I like that Workbooks is a genuine all-in-one CRM and business platform, not just a basic sales tool with extra features. It unifies CRM, sales automation, marketing tracking, customer support, and order management into one clean, connected system. Everything from lead capture to post-sale support lives in the same place, providing us with a full, consistent view of every customer. Workbooks' automation and workflow rules are impressive for a mid-market CRM, allowing us to automate lead assignments, follow-up tasks, stage updates, and customer notifications without complex setup. This reduces repetitive work for our sales and support teams. I also really appreciate its customer support and onboarding experience. The team is responsive, knowledgeable, and takes the time to understand our process instead of just giving generic help.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

I think the main issue is that the user interface can feel a bit dated and less intuitive compared to modern CRMs. New reps sometimes take longer to get comfortable with navigation, and some menus feel nested deeper than they need to be. A more modern, streamlined UI would make adoption even easier. Another issue is that navigation feels overly nested and inconsistent. A lot of common actions—like editing a field, creating a task, or switching between a contact and its related account—require too many clicks. Some menus use different layouts depending on which module you’re in, which slows down new users and creates small frictions for experienced ones.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workbooks consolidates our CRM, eliminating data silos and merging separate tools into one platform, providing a single view of customers. It streamlines contact management, sales tracking, and forecasting, reducing manual reporting and missed follow-ups, improving both data consistency and team efficiency.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi Torsden. Thank you for submitting your Workbooks review. It's great to hear that you've been able to reduce the repetitive work for your teams and, as the person heading up our Support team, I'm particularly delighted to hear that you're happy with the level of assistance you've been getting.

It would be great to know which company you work for and to have your contact details so we can catch up about some of the less positive aspects you've reported and, hopefully, resolve them for you.

Meanwhile, thanks again for taking the time to complete a review.

 ### 3. Flexible, Reliable, and Efficient Data Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yuvaraj h.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

I use Workbooks for organizing and managing business data in one place, which helps me track customer information, sales activities, and internal processes efficiently. I like its flexibility and ease of use, as the platform is well-structured and customizable to business needs, making it easy to manage data without complexity. It improves collaboration, provides clear visibility across teams, and keeps everything organized and up to date. I also appreciate the customization options and reporting features as it adapts well to different business workflows, with dashboards making it easy to track performance and progress. The system is reliable, scalable, and supports smooth day-to-day operations. Furthermore, Workbooks integrates well with other tools like email, spreadsheets, and accounting software, helping to keep data consistent across platforms. It's this combination of flexibility, features, and effective support for workflows that makes Workbooks stand out for me.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

While Workbooks is a powerful platform, there is a learning curve for new users, especially when setting up advanced features. Some workflows could be made more intuitive, and additional in-app guidance or tutorials would help speed up onboarding.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workbooks to organize business data, track customer info, manage sales activities, and streamline internal processes. It consolidates scattered data, reduces manual work and errors, and enhances team coordination and visibility, helping us make informed decisions faster.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Thanks for your feedback Yuvaraj. It's great to hear that you're able to make business decisions more quickly now that all of your data is one place. With reference to training and speeding up onboarding, if there's anything we can do to help drive onboarding/adoption. Your Account Manager would love to talk to you about this.

 ### 4. Customer Centric

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** sheridan H. | CRM & Events Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

It has to be their friendly, reliable UK team. Always on hand to help whether this is a quick phone/teams call or by email, a response is always given on the day or at least the day after. The advice and support given is always helpful and insightful.

Their training courses are detailed but also there is so much to cover in just 4 days and learning doesn't just stop after you have attended the courses the online support site is a great tool to aid any further learning or to recap.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Sometimes the system can be a little slow with loading data or looking, but general housekeeping and ensuring data is kept updated and correct can help minimize this. Also in a report, you can't look at leads or opportunities together you have to create separate reports.

Being able to have a dual workbook screen, would be a great feature to have!

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I create weekly, monthly reports for our Sales and Marketing Director at Volumatic. The level of detail we can drill into and the numerous ways this data can be presented is second to none.
The ease of our CRM feeding directly into our email application Spotler, just makes my working day easier and more proficient, I can focus more on the content of the email rather than a long admin process of setting the email up.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi Sheridan. Thank you so much for your positive review of Workbooks. It's great to hear how much using it in conjunction with Spotler is improving your marketing efforts and making life easier.

Do let us know if we can be of help with anything in future.

 ### 6. Streamlined Sales Tracking with Fast Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darla S. | Chief Financial Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

I like having everything in one place to track all items, and I find the keyboard shortcuts valuable because they make inputting information fast and simple. It's also great that Workbooks has helped us immensely since we previously had no way to track our sales and bills.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Exporting and sharing data can glitch at times.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workbooks to keep track of sales and bills, and it helps track when tasks are completed. I like having one place to track all items, and keyboard shortcuts make inputting information fast and simple.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi Darla. Thanks for taking the time to submit a Workbooks review. It's great to hear that you find our platform valuable. If you have the time, we'd love to know what keyboard shortcuts you use and at what point in your process you find them most useful so that we can share that information with other users. Looking forward to hearing more from you.

 ### 7. It clearly shows me which technical content generates the most engagement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan H. | Social Media Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

A great advantage is our ability to easily customize dashboards and reports. Working as a social media manager, I rely on Workbooks to create aesthetically pleasing reports that I could quickly distribute to managers and co-workers. It has helped us monitor the performance of our efforts and make rapid changes in our approach to achieve better impact. From campaign planning and tracking to budget management and analysis of results, it gives us a complete picture that helps us make decisions. The result has been a reduction in the time spent on the transition between applications and an increase in the importance given to strategy and innovation.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Although it’s unusual that I can create my own dashboards without using Excel exports, the reports are comprehensive.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us with integrated campaign planning and execution, social action ROI monitoring and sales funnel management. Thanks to this unification, marketing, sales and analysis departments are now better suited for coordination; in addition, we all have access to the most recent and consistent data. I can change my approach as I get to know exactly which technical material attracts the most opinions and comments. Automating the reporting and monitoring of leads has helped us free up more time for content production and strategic development.

 ### 9. Workbooks - nonprofit Background

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Great CRM for our smaller non profit of around 50 employees

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

It at times felt too big for what we were looking to utilize it for, but still it fit better than any others out there.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had been using 3 different softwares prior to changing to workbooks. This helped us centralize all of our CRM, email marketing and audience tracking all to one location and software

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi. Thank you for taking the time to complete a G2 review, which is appreciated.

We're pleased to see you describe our platform as a great CRM and to hear that you've been able to centralize the processes previously covered by 3 different software packages, which is the sort of feedback we often hear from our customers. We'd love to help you improve the rating you've given us so that you feel able to provide a 5* review. We would reach out to directly but it's not clear who has submitted this review. Please do contact your Account Manager to discuss your experiences with them and, hopefully, we can work with you to ensure that Workbooks is set up to make it easy to use and effective in achieving your aims.

Thanks again for your review.

 ### 10. The easiest CRM, wherever you are

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Workbooks is an easy to use, fully cloud based CRM solution perfect for Small and Mid-sized organisations alike. Easy to setup with no installing or server required allows for Workbooks to be accessed from anywhere easily irregardless of role and working requirements.
Support is quick to respond and many helpful resources online to help resolve or identify different approaches to take.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

The online help articles are not updated as frequently as the product is growing leading to some outdated help pages.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking multiple support tickets in one place and easily accessible additional details.
Furthermore, the ability to report on the cases to easily identify key metrics and additonal data that can be passed to the marketing and sales teams.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi Dave. Thank you for taking the time to submit a 5* review of Workbooks, which is very much appreciated.

We're particularly pleased to hear your feedback about our Support team, who work hard to deal with any queries that come in. Your comment about the help articles is noted (and I know that as a result of a recent case for you, the team have updated the relevant help page). Do please let us know if you find any similar issues.

Hopefully you continue to enjoy the functionality offered by the platform and we look forward to hearing from you in the future.

 ### 11. Our Workbooks Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giulia M. | Business Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

I love how much /quickly you can customise the platform, its a really clean looking appearance making it nice and easy to use throughout across all areas.
When we first implemented the system it was an easy process that we were walked through step by step. We are now 3 years into using it, and the PS team still have a good understanding of how we use it, and the system itself dispite all the other customers and projects they have worked on inbetween.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

That you dont get unlimited storage, and keeping on top of that can be difficult.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Docusign implementation to allow us to use electronic signatures between us and our clients. We are also integrating our accounts department so we can run reports and creating a new work flow within that department.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi Giulia. Thank you for taking the time to submit a review of Workbooks. As you identified, it can be challenging for the Professional Services team to remember all the nuances of the many implementations they are involved with, but I'm glad to hear that they're doing a good job of that. The Support Team too enjoy working with you and learning about your data flows and and business drivers.

I hope that the DocuSign integration is streamlining things for you and your clients and I'm sure the onboarding of the accounts department will be a success.

Thanks again for your review. If we can be of any help, feel free to contact your Account Manager, Ben, or email support@workbooks.com.

 ### 13. Extremely helpful and effective in assisting organisation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harriet D. | Sales & Marketing Administrator, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

The wide range of areas you can tap into, it covers all aspects of the business e.g operations, finance, sales.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Once setting permissions that these cannot be revoked, the records shared can then not be restricted, only new records.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

Get full training as there is so much to learn and some great features that may not seem that obvious if not pointed out.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining our sales process from lead to customer. I have realised that the whole process is possible through workbooks and can effectively be dealt with and activities shared between the team. Along with all targets and figures can be reported clearly.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi Harriet. Thank you for your positive review of Workbooks, which is appreciated. It's good to hear that you find it can support you in all aspects of your business. As a trainer myself, I wholeheartedly agree with getting training as it's a very rich platform and you can't know what you don't know!

We love hearing about our customers streamlining their processes and I'm glad you're finding our platform helpful with every step along the way.

I noted about not being able to change permissions - if you're referring to sharing permissions then yes, it is possible to change these on existing records. It sometimes take some thought to ensure that you get the outcomes you're looking for and we'd be happy to discuss your requirements with you. Feel free to contact support@workbooks.com if you'd like a chat about this. I've also supplied a link below that may be useful regarding changing permissions in bulk but do feel free to discuss this with us first.

 ### 14. Stable and constantly evolving CRM solution with great customer service behind it.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justyna W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Workbooks is a user frieldy online CRM platform which gives variety of solutions and is flexible enough to cover the needs of the business. Behind the platform seats a professional customer service team who is very helpful and responsive which is extremely important when dealing with technical or set-up issues or implementing new solutions. Workbooks is constantly adding new functionality to its portfolio so we are looking forward to what it will bring to the table next.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Workbooks is not a popular CRM platform that other service/platforms providers integrate with out of the box. In many instances it requires a custom build integration which can be costly and time consuming. The repoting functionality is good but dashboards could be developed into a more intelligent and visually appealing add-on.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workbooks is a good sales solution for managing pipeline and raising orders but requires good onboarding for sales team to ensure effective use of the tool. It is a great contact management tool which can hold variety of intellignece about the contact in one place including activities, online behaviour and trends, email interactions, employment history and many more. Having all this information in one place gives strong grounds fro complex reporting which can be also automated.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi Justyna. We really appreciate you taking the time to submit a Workbooks review. It's great to hear that you find the customer services team helpful and I know they enjoy dealing with you.

We love it when customers talk about the value of having all their data in one place so that you can leverage powerful reports to help inform the business.

I hope you and your colleagues continue to benefit from using our platform and if you have any queries, please feel free to contact support@workbooks.com.

 ### 15. A CRM With Almost No Limits

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harry B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

The greatest thing about Workbooks in my opinion is the near limitless level of customisability, which puts the restrictions of the software in the users hands rather than the software itself. Because of this, if you are able to dedicate some time to learn the intricacies of the system, such as reporting, plugins and custom records, you are able to create a completely unique and customised CRM; enabling any business to have a system which is fit for them.

Even though this sounds complex to begin with, the user interface of Workbooks is extremely easy to understand, and Workbooks provides fantastic resources to learn, such as their training videos and their Knowledge Base. Additionally, their customer support is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, which makes the experience of workbooks even easier to learn and understand.

I have been using Workbooks for just over a year, and have not yet found a problem which I have had to say 'Workbooks cant do this' due to the vast amount of options, support and customisability the system offers.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Its hard to find anything I would say I 'dislike' about Workbooks, but something that may effect users negatively is that some of the systems more advanced features do utilise programming languages, such as calculated columns utilising formulas based on MySQL, and scripts using PHP.

Because of this, more in-depth/custom reports and automation does require a large chunk of additional time to learn these languages, which some users may find daunting or not enjoy.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problems that Workbooks helps us solve relates to human error, in which certain features within workbooks allows us to prevent a variety of mistakes being made, and helps us keep on top of our work through automation. Some of the ways Workbooks allows us to do this includes:

1. Highlighting data that could be wrong and automatically sending it to us on a daily/weekly/monthly basis through scheduled reports
2. Automatically generating tasks to follow up/chase clients for important information
3. Locking down certain form fields by making them 'read only', as well as forcing users to fill in certain fields by making them 'required'
4. Automatically rolling on records for the next year, instead of having us make them manually
5. Providing a simple and easy way to merge duplicate records if they are created through the 'merge duplicates' feature
6. Automatically filling in certain form fields through the field updater plugin

 ### 16. CRM for the whole business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2018

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

The flexibility of Workbooks, means that it is used by different teams across the business, and ensures that we are all joined up

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Frustrated that there is not a native iOS app for offline access to prospect.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

Forward thinking UK business

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Workbooks CRM allows my business to have a 360 view of our customers and prospects and ensures that everyone in the business can sing from the same hymn sheet. This is hugely beneficial to the business, but critically also for our customers.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi and thank you for taking the time to update your review of Workbooks CRM. Whilst we don't provide offline access to data on the platform, we do have apps for both iOS and Android. I've provided a link to our Knowledge Base information about this below (the 'See how Workbooks improved' link), which I hope is useful.

It's particularly great to hear that you are getting benefit from have a 'single source of truth' in terms of the data held in Workbooks, ensuring that you and your colleagues have shared visibility of your customers and that, importantly, this results in a better experience for those customers when interacting with you.

Thanks again for your review.

 ### 17. HIghly Configurable CRM Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martyn J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Workbooks is an incredibly flexible and configurable CRM Tool. We have been using the application for a number of years and is a critical part of our architecture.
We are continually finding new opportunities to expand its use and importantly, almost without exception we can implement these quickly and through self service configuration.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

There arent things i dont "like" about workbooks, mainly any frustration is about ensuring we are maximising the full value of the tool and sometimes not knowing automatically how to implement a new, or change an existing function. That being said, the training material and support model are excellent...

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We primarily use Workbooks as a Sales Propsecting Tool, CRM and email / process workflow tool.

Hving this all in a single application allows us to use centralised data and try to utilise this for furture efficiencies and insight.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi Martyn. Thank you for taking the time to submit a Workbooks review, which we really appreciate.

It's great to hear that you're expanding the use of our platform and that you feel empowered to make these changes yourselves, relatively easily. We love that by centralising your data you're able to gain insight into your customer base and identify areas where improvements in efficiency can be made. We agree that one of the great strengths of Workbooks is that you've got one source of truth in the business and that information can be shared easily across all teams.

If there's anything that we can do to help with future developments, please feel free to contact support@workbooks.com or to speak to your Account Manager. (And look out for notifications about our next release, which is due in September.)

 ### 18. Good CRM for small business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Workbooks is easy to use with great support. Updating records is easy. Searching for anything is quick.
Workbooks handles all reporting and forecasting as well as standard Company and people data.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Sometimes it can be a little bit clunky but there is always a way to get things done

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workbooks handles all of our reporting and forecasting. Previously, everything was done through spreadsheets but this is a much easier and accurate way of doing things.

There is nothing that I would can say that I dislike about Workbooks. The people have been very responsive from our first contact with the sales team through the development process.

Sales tracking by salesman, by Customer and by Industry. Helping D&R target Customers and idustries that are the most profitable.

 ### 21. Exceptional CRM Software for Business Growth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

I’ve been a user of Workbooks CRM for around 4 years now, and I must say, this CRM software has exceeded my expectations in every way, and here's why:

1.	Highly Configurable and Flexible: Workbooks offers a level of configurability and flexibility that’s comparable to the big players in the CRM space such as Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics but at a fraction of the cost and with a simpler user interface to boot. It provides a wide range of customisation options, from fields and workflows to automations and reports. This flexibility ensures that the software can adapt seamlessly to unique business processes and requirements, rather than forcing you to conform to a rigid system.

2. Scalable: As your business grows, Workbooks is perfectly capable of growing with you. Its scalability allows you to start small and expand as needed, safe in the knowledge that you won’t have to switch CRM again in the future. The ability to scale without disruption is vital for any business, and Workbooks excels in this regard.

3. Integrability: One of the standout features of Workbooks is its comprehensive API which allows Workbooks be seamlessly connect with almost anything, from email marketing platforms to accounting software and beyond.

4. Quality Support: Customer support is often a make-or-break factor when choosing software, and Workbooks shines in this department. Their UK-based support team is responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly. You won’t be left on hold for hours or left waiting for days to a reply to your email; and there is a lot to be said for that when choosing a CRM.

In conclusion, Workbooks is a top-tier CRM solution that ticks all the boxes. Its high configurability and flexibility, scalability, seamless integration capabilities through a robust API, and quality support make it a standout choice for businesses of all sizes. If you're looking for a CRM software that can effectively manage your customer relationships, adapt to your needs, grow with your business, and provide exceptional support, you need look no further.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Workbooks has very few faults when compared with other CRM's, but I would like to see the following improvements in the near future:

1. The ability to make changes in a sandbox environment and then push them to a live environment. While you can create test databases with ease, any changes you make will need to be subsequently recreated in the live environment.

2. Have the option for system admins to login as other users, this would make providing support to users much easier.

3. A drag-and-drop form editor would be a nice touch!

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workbooks CRM has helped us to build strong customer relationships by centralising customer data, enabling personalised interactions, and fostering a deep understanding of our customers.

Management of our sales pipeline is easy thanks to Workbooks in-built data visualisation tools, and the platform's seamless integration of invoicing and financial management streamlines our financial operations, reducing errors and delays. Workbooks CRM also enhances project management by simplifying task allocation and tracking, while customisable workflows automate routine tasks.

Additionally, the platform's robust reporting and analytics features provide invaluable insights for informed decision-making, enabling us to continuously elevate our business performance. In summary, Workbooks CRM has transformed the way we manage customer relationships, qualify leads, raise invoices, handle projects, and measure business performance, enhancing our efficiency and effectiveness in every aspect of our operations.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> We couldn't be happier with your fantastic 5* review of the Workbooks platform and appreciate the time you've put into writing such comprehensive feedback, thank you!

It's great to see that you've capitalised on lots of the product strengths, customising it to suit your requirements and using the API to integrate with other tools, but also relying on standard features too. It's heartening to hear your feedback about the support team, who work very hard and we're delighted to see their efforts recognised. I've asked them to check that enhancement requests exist for the 3 improvements you've mentioned.

Whilst appreciating that you've chosen to stay anonymous on G2, we'd love to have the chance to say thank you in person and discuss how you're using the software - perhaps you'd be kind enough to contact me directly: jean.hardie-matthews@workbooks.com (Customer Support Manager). I hope to hear from you soon.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2017

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Highly customisable, very easy to create specific rules for what each member of the team can see.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Sometimes the amount of customisation in place makes it hard to make simple changes further down the line.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

A highly customisable product.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transparency between the sales team. Auto invoice scripts are saving us hours and hours of time each month.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi. Thanks for such a positive review. We're delighted that after 10 years of use you still feel positive about the Workbooks platform and are deriving such great time savings from using it.

 ### 23. Highly configurable CRM with a great support team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Soren E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Workbook's CRM offers exceptional efficiency through its intuitive interface, streamlining customer interactions and data management. With robust features like contact tracking, lead management, and task automation, it enhances productivity. Real-time insights via reports and dashboards empower smarter decision-making for our management team.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Workbook's CRM falls short in certain aspects. Its learning curve can be steep, posing challenges for new users. Compared to Salesforce, functionality is limited (no 3rd party apps etc).

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workbooks play a vital role in overseeing sales activities and maintaining current customer information.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi Soren. We're delighted to see your 5* review of Workbooks - thank you for taking the time to complete it.

It's great to hear that Workbooks plays a central role in your business and we are always keen to work with you to ensure the product and configuration meets your needs. If you have any queries, feel free to liaise with your Account Manager or with the support team: support@workbooks.com.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Nothing to add for this section, everything works great.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's an all in one platform, being able to access all data, and build reports to help benefit other memebers of our companies is invaluable.

 ### 25. Data Management/Statistical Analysis it is very useful for me

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

As of now no negative feedback, my experience is improving day by day

 ### 26. Workbooks is my complete client and company database

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr Luqman H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

A one-stop centre that stores all my clients' details and our meeting records. Its interface is also easy to navigate. Notifications of new leads are prompted to us. It's better than using an Excel spreadsheet to track everything manually.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

There are different ways of recording meetings, introductions which may or may not be directly reflected on our KPI board. Whenever we record any introduction, Workbooks could not remind us when is it time to follow up with that person. Because each client's details are not mandatory to be filled, it will be hard for people to actually do anything with it. What's most important is his/her email address, followed with their phone number.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to save my time from sending similar emails to multiple people using GMail. By integrating all the Campaigns and the details therein, it's easier for me to review back who actually received the emails and who contacted them from our company. In other words, although we work from different ends, we can always use Workbooks to centrally access what others have done.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi Doctor. Thank you for your review of Workbooks and your positive feedback, which is really appreciated. It sounds like Workbooks is fulfilling one of our primary aims, which is providing multiple users with a common view of data in one central place, so that's great.

You mention not being able to set reminders to follow up with people but, depending on how you're using the system, there are a couple of ways to do that. For example, each Task and Meeting record has a reminder checkbox where you can set the date and time that you want to be reminded of an action. Alternatively, some customers prefer to configure Dashboards to provide information to the user of what they should be doing on any given day.

With regards to mandatory fields, again, it is possible to set these to be required, although of course, it depends on who is filling in the forms and whether or not they would know those pieces of data at the time they're completing the record.

It could be that simple changes to the configuration of your system could assist in removing any frustrations you have with the system. Do have a chat with your System Administrator about your concerns, as they do have the power to make changes.

Thanks again for a great review.

 ### 27. Great product, great customer services

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

As a marketing manager, Workbooks has a clean UX design thats easy to use and train new members on. We've had a positive experience with different teams in workbooks, from initial on-boarding, our client relations manager to the help desk. Communications surrounding updates are concise and very useful!

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Workbooks is great for our needs, there are some limitations on number of characters you can filter on, but nothing major.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workbooks does a great job keeping us updated on product development and listens to feedback that we have

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hello and thank you for your 5* review of Workbooks, which we love to hear!

We've got a new release coming out soon, so I hope that it includes some enhanced functionality that you find useful.

As always, feel free to contact your Account Manager with any general queries or the support desk (support@workbooks.com) if you have any specific technical issues.

Thanks again for your positive review.

 ### 28. Function rich and highly configurable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick J. | Director of Business Systems, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2018

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Whilst Workbooks comes with so much functionality 'out of the box', it's highly configurable. Whilst this isn't necessarily easy for the layperson, Workbooks provide great training, assistance and support. They are regularly enhancing the product to release new features. The reporting tool is very powerful and enables pretty much any data to be combined.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

As with any software product there's a few bugs and things that could be better, but these are minor and in no way get in the way of the overall experience, which is positive. The integration with Communigator could be slicker.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our data was scattered across numerous CRM databases, email marketing systems and spreadsheets. We've been able to combine this into one place and are nearing a 'single customer view', enhanced with details about online activities, transactions and communications.

 ### 29. Highly customisable and useful CRM option

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julien G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Workbooks is a good tool and allows for lots of options to create reports and analyse our sales data and customer behaviour, manage email campaign, track cases, and more. The customisation options are useful to make it work in ways that best suit your specific needs.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Certain things can be finicky, such as setting up reports and displaying tables in a particular way, or it can be difficult at first to know where to look in the settings to make the changes that you want. Additional external assistance is sometimes necessary to get over this.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workbooks is helping us better keep track of sales, KPIs, and customers in easily accessible dashboard forms. Automatic emails help remind our salespeople of opportunities and customers that require attention.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi Julien. Thanks for submitting a review of Workbooks. We're glad to know you're able to analyse your sales data and have been able to customise the platform to suit your needs.

Hopefully you're finding it easy to access the help you need in terms of any reporting requirements or configuration queries you may have. You can get this help via our partner from whom you purchased your licences or directly from us. ### 30. Great CRM Platform for a New Company

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harrison D. | Middle School Social Studies Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

I like combining all sales, marketing, outreach, and team collaboration. The "Shared Success Program" was a highlight for our customers to work with us. Workbooks allowed them to meet with our team, have check-ins, schedule meetings, etc.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

This program was great for our company's size, but as our company grew, Workbooks did not have the functions we needed to handle a larger clientele. The free version is minimal and the cost of upgrading may not be worth it for everyone

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were a small organization trying to tap into a market of financial clients. We needed a platform that could handle every aspect of our operations smoothly. The onboarding was rather simple and it took our new company through the first stages of growth. We outgrew it eventually.

 ### 31. Can't do without it....

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Allows us to build whatever report we need, add custom fields, and is fundamental to our business processes for Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Support and Finance. All encompassing CRM, at affordable rate.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Probably not the most modern slickest looking UI

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Business Reporting, Customer Service, managing contractual relationships, insight into our customer base, ownership of accounts and allocations

 ### 32. Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connor S. | Training Advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

The reminders you can set really help keep focus on what task is next. So you can call a client and set a reminder when it's best to call them next. Great for if you have terrible memory.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

I dislike the fact a double click brings up the option you clicked twice. Very much used to double clicking to open something up so when it's just workbooks that operates this way it can be annoying.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We aren't problem-solving. We're using workbooks to keep track on where our sales are going. The main benefit is knowing what we've spoken about with a company previously.

 ### 33. Workbooks is ideal for SMEs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carson W. | CRM Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

It has everything you need to store the contact information for your accounts & contacts (customers, prospects, suppliers etc.) You can be reminded about your most important activities from the CRM or Outlook & you can track marketing campaigns & sales performance using its views, reports & dashboards. You can even use it to send sales orders & issue invoices, credit notes, contracts & supplier orders!

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Like any application you need to invest time to learn the software but Workbooks is pretty intuitive.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A repository of contact information (prospects, customers, suppliers).
Email marketing.
It's much quicker than using spreadsheets!

 ### 34. Superb Lead tracking CRM

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishwajeet K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Lead nurturing at its best, selects suitable timing of user activities and trigger mail campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Gasification suggested , but not required.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nurturing leads, lead management, email marketing.

 ### 35. Workbooks does a good job of keeping everyone on the team up to date with accurate status

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven S. | IT Program Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

It is in the cloud and updates made by an resource is live. It keeps everyone on the same page regardless of when they have work hours or their location.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

The UI is still a bit clunky in my opinion. Nothing the best UI for new users.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration between the team and all the different divisions. This CRM tool has help break down walls that held certian information to only individual people.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi Steven. Thanks for submitting a Workbooks review, we appreciate you taking the time to do this.

I'm glad to hear that you're finding it helpful in terms of team collaboration, which can often be a problem for businesses, so that's great.

I hope you find the UI less clunky as you use it more but if you have any particular feedback, please let your Authorised Support Contact know and they can relay that to our support team.

 ### 36. the interface seems old fashioned and clunky

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

not much really I find it difficult to navigate and unintuitive and its workflows overly complicated, logical but overly complicated from a users perspective

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

the windows all look very similar and open on top of one another and you very soon lose where the hell you are in the system, its generally quite annoying

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it creates a record of events and collects KPI's for the business but for me as a user, it adds very little value

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi Mark. Thanks for taking the time to complete a G2 review, which is appreciated. As you can imagine, however, we're disappointed to hear that you find the system unhelpful and difficult to use.

In terms of the interface, I noticed that you're using an old version. In June 2022 we released a Beta version of an interface called 'Clean', which went on general release in September 2022. The changes include making the records less cluttered in terms of buttons and the shading of the background and also applying a coloured border to each type of record, making it easier to distinguish one from another. The feedback we've received has largely been extremely positive, so if you haven't tried it, I'd really recommend giving it a go. The URL below takes you to information on our Knowledge Base about themes.

In terms of your workflows, I'm unsure whether you mean 'out of the box' configuration or something that's been customised to meet your company's requirements. I will, however, drop a line to our main contact at your organisation to check how things are going.

In the meantime, I hope you do try the Clean theme and find it helpful.

 ### 37. Quick and easy

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

when Saving time to case and editing the stage on workbooks it sometimes dosnt load straight away and you have to set stage and resave its not a big issues just abit annoying

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As its alot quicker it saves times for all workers using it

 ### 38. Exceptional capabilities on workbooks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cameron D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

There are so many possibilities on workbooks, it is effective at gathering information and is relatively intuitive to use. The categorisations are helpful and the system holds almost limitless information.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Sometimes it can be challenging to get used to the jargon, categories and the way things all link together on Workbooks.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to capture information for the countless stakeholders that we work with

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi Cameron. What a great review of Workbooks, thank you so much for taking the time to submit it.

It's great to hear that you find the platform intuitive to use and that you're able to store all the information that your business requires.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Curtis O. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

The way that you can share your progress of tasks, opportunities and company info with your fellow colleagues on shared platform.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

The least helpful thing on Workbooks is the search engine as sometimes not all entries come up such as tasks despite typing in a part of the title.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me solve any organisation issues that our team has through the tracking of opportunities and tasks.

 ### 40. Workbooks Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kieran B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Workbooks is laid out in a really clean format which allows me to see everything that'd going on at once without the clutter.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

My only dislike is how little I know about using workbooks.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to see where my team has got to with select jobs without having to ask them, allowing us to pick up from where eachother left off with ease.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

 ### 41. Workbooks Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** craig M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

The schedule is fairly easy to use and the interface is simple.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Inputting details of shutters is a little long-winded and sometimes difficult to follow; the data input should have collapsable boxes to certain group types of data together, for example, being able to expand a section to add Trim or Battens instead of having all options continuously open.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not really sure it solves problems for me personally, it benefits me as its a simple system to use while on the go, the office can update items in real time for me to access while in customers homes or in my van.

**Official Response from Jean Hardie-Matthews:**

> Hi Craig. Thanks for taking the time to submit a review of the Workbooks platform, which we appreciate. I'm glad to learn that you find the interface simply and easy to use, although note your feedback regarding entering details of shutters. I'd recommend that you speak to your System Administrator who is able to modify the layout of screens if it's agreed that changing them would make data entry easier for you and your colleagues.

 ### 42. Workbooks Review 15.02.2023

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kieran B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

It allows me to organise my day and easily see what stage each of my tasks are at, with just a glance.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

 ### 45. "Workbooks is Extraordinary Instrument for a Client Achievement Team"

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Import and Export | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

It is a great instrument to create Reports and Dashboards that give you knowledge of your Case KPIs. Understanding your client care execution will assist you with pursuing the ideal choices - eventually expanding consumer loyalty. It gives a more top to bottom glance at your clients so they don't escape everyone's notice. The usability and the option to explore the framework are exceptionally helpful. The degree of writing about exercises, amazing open doors, existing client data and deals figures.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

There are little components that I might want to change yet these aren't large changes. It is somewhat off-kilter attempting to choose different exercises other than separating down to the specific subtleties you really want yet in the event that you had the option to utilize a check box and simply select the exercises you needed to change I feel this could be a decent expansion.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making more potential customer age — open information which takes care of through to the executives revealing and technique. Robotization of cycles that were already manual.
