## Workbooks Reviews
  ### 1. Using Workbooks for the first time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon R. | Advisory Council, Human Resources, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Workbooks is really intuitive, before I had any training on it I was able to use it with ease.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

When we did the data transfer from our old CRM system we did not manage to avoid some duplications...but that may be our fault!

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

Try it!

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a multi site business and with members of the team sometimes working from home, the cloud based element is of real value...as well as the more obvious benefits it offers such as past activity and tracking.

  ### 2. Workbooks has made our day to day work so much easier.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

That all aspects of what we do are linked together. Emails are linked to people, organisations and opportunities. On hand support from our Workbooks team (Luke and Peter) has been really individual.

Plus the ability to tailor the whole program and edit how each record looks is really useful. Especially since a lot of this can be done in house. So we can trial different things to see if they work, without having to rack up big bills asking a developer to make the changes for us.

I have been working my way through the workbooks free training too.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

The default font of everything is very small. Plus learning Workbooks initially was very tough, as there are so many option and features that at first don't make sense. It would be good to have more structure around some of the bespoke training and perhaps have a guide with screenshots, or something similar. As afterwards we had gone through so much that I couldn't clearly remember exactly what my notes meant.

It can also be quite slow, but that might be down to our server.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

It seems like a complex system at first, and takes a little bit of getting used to. But once you get used to all the features, it is a very useful system.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A lot of our clients liaise and share vital information by email which need to be shared with the team. Doing this on workbooks means that the emails are kept with the appropriate record, and available for anyone who needs to read them.

Plus we are using Workbooks as our CRM system.

I have some admin rights and along with my Director I am working toward being out 'super-user'.

  ### 3. Easier than any other CRM I have used!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben F. | Account Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

I like how quick this is to use. You can also customize anything.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

There isn't enough of a focus on contacts. No primary contact just a page with a list of contacts. there should be a primary contact on the organizations landing page.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

If speed is important then there is no other CRM.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralizing all of our CRM and invoices to ensure a smooth quick and easy ordering and reporting system.

  ### 4. Quick and efficient

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dorota G. | Showroom Manager, Retail, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

WB allows for easy customisation with little formal developer knowledge required. The reporting features are powerful and flexible, with the ability to create custom reports quickly and easily. The support service is reliable, fast and friendly.
Workbooks has been easy to configure and we've put it good use straight away.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

There isn't anything within the functionality that I do not like.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

a companywide contact list so that all our staff could work off the same list and maintain it together

  ### 5. The product is doing exactly what it says on the box

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

The system can be used pretty much straight from the box. The linking between objects is automatic and seamless. Very little training is required as the online query system is quite extensive.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

I would prefer a system that allowed reports to be generated more easily. Coming from a programming background I find that the constraints on the reporting can cause frustration though I have to admit that a better understanding of HTML would probably make a great difference.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

We reviewed a number of CRM systems before going with Workbooks. It was simple to implement and covered the majority of our needs. No system we looked at covered all of our requirements.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We previously used numerous individual systems to control our business. Whilst we cannot transfer all of our systems into Workbooks we have managed to combine two of our old systems and are looking to move part of a third system into Workbooks. Having a single point of information storage is certainly simpler than having to interrogate multiple databases.

  ### 6. Great, flexible CRM for small-medium businesses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

It is very flexible in terms of custom fields and functionality. Many of its features are very simple to understand and use. We mainly use the API to automate procedures and it's been working well so far.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

The biggest feature we are missing it the ability to have more control over your database. This would allow us to edit mistakes and make certain changes that just aren't allowed when the database is locked. I do understand that this is mostly likely for security reasons and to prevent the application from crashing, but it would have been nice to see a safe way implemented for this.

Also, customer support on technical questions has not been the best. I've asked multiple times about the failure to filter on multiple with the API, but no response was given by the Dutch correspondent. I have reached out to his supervisor and hopefully, he will resolve the issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

If you are a small-medium firm and need a no-hassle CRM product, than Workbooks would suit you very well. It's power lies in its simplicity and cost value.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We help fine art printing firms to provide quality printing by providing them all the services they require, from calibration to printer support. With workbooks, we process our invoicing and customers.

  ### 7. Very flexible product. Excellent support.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter D. | Commercial Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

WB allows for easy customisation with little formal developer knowledge required. The reporting features are powerful and flexible, with the ability to create custom reports quickly and easily. The support service is reliable, fast and friendly.
API capabilities are extensive.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Some types of reports are not possible.
Some users find the UI a bit clunky.
Conditional formatting in reports is not supported. I'd like to replace many accounting documents we have in excel with WB reports but can't reproduce some key excel functionality, e.g. conditional formatting.

Creating complex reports for someone with no previous SQL knowledge could be made easier with more detailed SQL function syntax help. There is some offered but this could be improved.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Replacing local excel reporting spreadsheets with cloud based, always up-to-date reports.
Centralising reports on customer spend across all products in the business, providing much more visibility of our business.
Central database of customers.

  ### 8. Workbooks is very useful

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

It's structure is very useful, as is the reporting functionality.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

It does take a while to get used to and isn't immediately user friendly, which could definitely be improved. Took a little while and a bit of training to work out how to use it. In addition, we've recently decided to use workbooks for additional functions, which the whole team needed training for. I feel the interface could therefore be improved.

Also, very easy to create duplicates of things if you're not careful.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recording all of our activities on it has been challenging, but helpful.. By being strict and active with our inputs, the system produces great outputs.

  ### 9. Good for viewing information not so good for importing

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter M. | Audit and Accounts Senior, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Ability to open multiple windows and view multiple people at the same time

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Issues with importing which means duplication of multiple contacts that are the same

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Issues with importing but useful for seeing information.

  ### 10. Workbooks in Sales Trading

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Very straight forward when used for quoting our clients, a great bespoke piece of software.
Ease of access between outlook and workbooks.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Used through a 3rd party source problem solving support isn't all that good, a lot "do this and see what happens". Some window sizes provide difficulty in working but there is probably an option to fix this, where is unknown.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quoting customers with a quick turn around time.

  ### 11. Workbooks: Simple, Cost Effective and very easy to get users up to speed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nigel T. | General Manager, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2013

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

I really like the way in which you have full control and customisation of contact records which is easy to do one you have an understanding of the platform.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

I have not come across anything I don't like other than my ability to understand scripts and everything that works in the background. I suppose if I was disliking anything I would maybe suggest that there is a need for a system administrator which if you are a small company which doesn't have an IT dept you could be looking at higher support costs.

Secondly, the structure and formatting of the email templates send from workbooks seems a little odd sometimes to the recipient, but if you structure these in html I don;'t think you'll have an issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

Just do it, you won't look back and it works out far easier to get up and running than you might think!

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I try to solve as much as possible with the CRM and it's really made a difference to our Administration

  ### 12. Workbooks Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben M. | Data Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Desktop appearance makes it easy to navigate. Excel like filters makes it simple for all users to analyse their data. The reporting suite is also very powerful. Everything is just very intuitive to use which is what's needed when you have a team of varied tehnological experience.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Not much I dislike apart from minor things such as when you change the Document Currency - it removes your line items and you have to re-enter them.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workbooks is allowing our subscription sales team to see exactly what they have in their pipeline and what is/isn't being worked on. This allows much more efficient pipeline management. It also gives much more visibility to senior management.

  ### 13. Great for account management

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James L. | Business Development Executive, Market Research, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

As a CRM system I find Workbooks really easy to navigate. The ability to easily classify various client interactions and to set activities has been really useful in helping with following up with clients.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

When a contact has moved organisation I find the process of re-categorising them to a different organisation to be a bit clunky. Would be interested to see how Workbooks could make this process faster.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing client relationships and contacts.

  ### 14. Tailored to fit your needs and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanna C. | Business Development Officer, Government Administration, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Workbooks can be tailored to fit organisations, it is easy to use (by users) and because it is online, it can be accessed from anywhere.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

As an administrator, I find it difficult to get into the bottom of some features in Workbooks. There is not enough info to do everything in-house, so the use of Support is often required. As an administrator, I had to go through a training course, which (I am only finding out now) was nowhere near enough to be able to freely update the layouts and use Workbooks to its full potential. Every time a user has a suggestion, it can take a while to figure the solution out. Even though Keith has been very helpful and tries his best to help us, I wish I had a better training and understanding of Workbooks to be able to solve the issues my organisation has by myself.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

If you are a larger organisation with other systems in place and need to link them to Workbooks or vice versa, Workbooks may not be an ideal solution for you, unless you spend a lot of time working it out. However, Workbooks is a great system if you are a small to medium enterprise. It is not the easiest to set up, but very easy to use. If you need a system to communicate with other departments, quote from, record opportunities, report from and have a database with all your clients, it is a very good system and does the job really well. The price is also very competitive.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Several commercial services are offered by different departments, who are never communicated with each other. Since implementation of Workbooks; we can see what opportunities are currently being developed, what clients we have and how much profit we could generate. We can quote from Workbooks and by using cases we can record all phone calls and emails coming our way.

  ### 15. Workbooks CRM

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick I. | Management Accountant and Financial Systems Consultant, Accounting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

i like the way CRM integrates with our back office database

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

the reporting is clunky and there isn't a duplication tool

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

selective mailmerge using dotmailer

  ### 16. Very very good!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas A. | Service Delivery Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2014

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

I like the way the system is very 'open' and can be tailored specifically for our needs and uses. I also love the way that it's being constantly updated and all ideas from customers are reviewed. Often pitfalls of the system will be resolved and worked on for a future release!

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

How there is no voice mail on there phone system and often when i call the phone get's shut of and i have to ring back. I do get an answer and dealt with swiftly but its annoying!

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We currently have the system for sales and our help-desk with the biggest benefit to date being the shearing of simple small information that often doesn't get passed on between departments. The editable forms mean that any information specific to our industry and business can be added and shared.

  ### 17. An essential tool for business that is user friendly.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robyn S. | Digital Marketing Executive, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

It is so easy to navigate around. The layout and functionality is similar to a Windows desktop which makes it very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

When we have a due date for completion on an activity or case - there is no automated reminder.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to get information assigned easily to the relevant member of staff to deal with at the click of a button and all activities surrounding it are recorded so there is a constant log of updates available.

  ### 18. Workbooks is easy, efficient to use and very effective.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris M. | Business Support, Outsourcing/Offshoring, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

The fact you have a clear staging process is brilliant, This helps us a company to keep track of every individual and their bespoke situations.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

The fact we never found workbooks sooner!

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have realised as a company that we are far more efficient and more organised workbooks has helped us to solve multiple issues we did not know the answer too prior.

  ### 19. Very dynamic and fitted solution which is perfect for our needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clive P. | Head of Data Services, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

I particularly like the reporting tools, sales process and speed of the system. The heaviest use of the CRM system for me is the Pipeline tracking, the reporting on this and closed business and the lead to order process and through to Invoicing. It certainly makes the speed of the quotation process fast and Dynamic, but most of all keep it looking professional.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

limitations on quotations and the regimented way in which you need to produce the quote or proposal in a formatted way. Therefore there would be elements I would change here. Personally, it you have the ability to design a template on the system, this would be very useful.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

I would certainly recommend Workbooks to other businesses given how easy the product can be set up and how dynamic it can be for a lower cost than some of the other more mainstream vendors. It's a versatile piece of software that we utilise every day for a wide spectrum of areas.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease of keeping track of delegates through reporting tools and clever designed templates that you can view in the dashboards. admittedly it would be great if you can have a template set up and for it to be replicated for each of the subsequent quarters at a click of a button. Although still I feel we have a much better system in place now that we are using Workbooks for this element of the business.

  ### 20. Glad we switched to Workbooks from Microsoft Dynamics.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Similar in functionality to Windows, easy to navigate because of this.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Constant pop up windows rather than everything opening in one window.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

Make sure that all the features of it are relevant to your business.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier to maintain database of contacts and link specific contacts to an opportunity on their record. Easy to maintain information on phone calls within a marketing campaign.

  ### 21. Great functionality

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Easy to use structure allows linking of individuals with organisations and helps eliminate duplicate records. Love the functionality of leaving notes on contacts as this allows all users to quickly read recent contact. Great support available.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Not much - support is so good! Takes time to learn how best to use the system

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

Grab a cup of tea and read / watch as many tutorials as you can!

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contact database building. Have been importing records from multiple sources and need to eliminate duplicate records. Import feature is very good and easy to implement.

  ### 22. Workbooks - Review by Folding Space

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris M. | Sales & Marketing, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

The ease with which we have been able to customize the solution to fit our sales and marketing process. The System Administrator training was comprehensive and support has been excellent throughout.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Creating and sharing reports could probably be easier. Contact level segmentation of data based on attributes held at Organisational level is not as easy as I would like.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

Having evaluated numerous technologies including salesforce.com the ease of system administration and customization provided by workbooks stood out.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Effective sales and marketing pipeline management and reporting

  ### 23. Good and reliable

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ines S. | International Sales Executive, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

straight-forward and accessible design. Easy to navigate and get to grips with but also to improve upon.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

slow speed, lacking auto-fill functionality in certain areas and auto-update of relevant boxes when updating.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

easy to use and clear, always looking to improve with user input

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

quick client database management with all-in-one solution

  ### 24. Intuitive CRM System That's Simple to Learn but Very Powerful

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Workbooks is quick to navigate around as the interface is based on Windows. The first time you use it, it's obvious where to find stuff.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Reporting is trickier to learn. More standard reports with the product would be better.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales pipeline is now organised rather than being a combination of spreadsheets.

  ### 25. Does what we need when we need it.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Business Supplies and Equipment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

If i have issues or are stuck in any element of workbooks the customer service team are always happy to help.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Lots of features i know nothing about....

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have two companies under one roof so being able to have split companies under one log in has helped.

  ### 26. If you've had Salesforce before but don't want to cost - use this CRM

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fredrick E. | Business Development Manager, Team Leader, Leisure, Travel & Tourism, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Simple to set up and has revolutionised my business operations and made B2B marketing simple

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Integration to web is hard, but not impossible, ideally would like a solution that allows customers to update their own contact information or payment details.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

Best solution I've found on the market - already implemented for three other businesses that I have connections with

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

B2B Marketing services - couldn't measure ROI on previous campaigns but all is sorted now with the Campaign tool and integration into MailChimp

  ### 27. Workbooks excellence

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

The ease of which data can be searched and reported upon

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Graphs are rather basic visually and colour variations would be most welcome.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Trail of communications. Handy being able to see all email trail from the start of a case.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Having to manually add references. This is a little annoying, if this could be automated somehow, would save the annoyance of duplicating cases.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Internal and external communication, tracking tasks.

  ### 29. The CRM we never knew we needed

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

With previous CRM's we have been restricted in expanding or enhancing the system for future needs. Workbooks allows us to completely customise the user interface and with our SAGE integration build reports and dashboards to help focus the salesteam be more productive

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

The only negative is sometime bandwidth restraints cause the platform to run slowly, this is down to infrastructure rather than Workbooks itself

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales reporting, we can now have live reports showing the salesteam exactly where they are, who hasn't purchased

  ### 30. Plug and Play CRM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sergio L. | Services Project Manager, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

The Windows' style menus make it easy to find your way around. It is very intuitive and really helps with my marketing and sales day planning.
I regularly access some dashboards that tell me about sales and business performance in realtime.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

To get the best out of the system you need to put a lot of effort in, however this is the same for every CRM and workbooks is much easier to work with than other systems I have previously used.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

Give it a try.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed one platform that could manage from a lead coming in to the business through to order/invoice. The post sales customer support is a plus. Previously we used Bitrix24, but workbooks has now allowed us to streamline our processes and gain access to key business data.

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is great for compiling reports.

  ### 34. Workbooks is the best CRM system there is

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2013

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

It’s easy to migrate to and to get started and really easy to use and navigate. I found getting emails and details in after calls and meetings simple and quick and reporting something I could do myself without asking for a specialist to help. The Outlook integration is slick and simple and the included email Dropbox works simply when on other devices.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Would like a native mobile App, although the current web mobile version works fine. I hear the mobile app is out now in a few months anyways.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

Give Workbooks a try when looking at a CRM, its so easy to use compared to others and quick. For a user much better than Salesforce

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The marketing department wanted to be able to see where leads were coming from, and be able to easily track them through their life cycle. We wanted to be able to see where the leads that were being converted were coming from so we could adapt our marketing strategy.

the sales team needed to be able to easily track their leads and opportunities more easily, and make it easier for management to see the sales pipeline.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

Great for ease of use, easy set up and availability anywhere on the cloud

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of multiple contacts/conversations within prospect and client companies

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

The issues that we have had with the integration between workbooks and MailChimp.

  ### 39. Workbooks is a great tool that makes project and team management easier.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

It is an efficient means of managing my daily tasks and workload and overseeing the work my team has to do on a daily and longer term basis.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

I think the process of taking out projects and invoicing could be simplified.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work on lots of different projects and therefore keeping track of the range of tasks, both large and small, can be difficult. For example, if someone is on leave or off ill there is a risk that things will be missed. Workbooks provides a platform within which all key information can be stored and monitored which makes project management far more streamlined.

  ### 40. Workbooks Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zoe H. | Marketing Communications Manager, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2014

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

I've recently started really getting to grips with our Workbooks CRM system and I love how powerful it is. Filtering in particular is very powerful, as is the many different reports and views you can save. We also invested some time in bespoke training from Workbooks for some of our team and they really enjoyed it!

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

There is so much choice that it can take a bit of training in order to fully understand all of the system's capabilities, but this is time spent well. Once you have it set up in a way that your organisation wants to use it it works well. We've tailored the system towards what our organisation needs and have found it useful across all departments.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

Do invest in some training with Workbooks - you'll find a whole range of shortcuts and interesting features that are helpful to your organisation. The team can also help to advise how to tailor the system towards what you need. Reporting tools are really powerful, particularly from a Sales and Marketing and a Management Point of View.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing our sales pipeline and leads coming in, as well as looking at how to better measure our marketing performance. There are many benefits, particularly if you can get everyone to use the system regularly and in the same way. For e.g. being able to produce reports and drill down to stats with a few clicks of a button. As a marketer I also like how quickly we can produce and export targeted marketing lists for our various email marketing programmes.

  ### 41. Flexible CRM system

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

The ability to tailor the CRM system to your requirements - significantly more flexible than other software

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Sometimes it is difficult to convey the process that needs to be programmed to the team to meet our business needs

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

Good tool to use if you have unique and complex relationships with clients.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Holistic client relationship management - from business development, to project delivery and account management

  ### 42. Workbooks CRM

Benefit of keeping track of client relationships

  ### 43. Essential business tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James B. | Head of Operations, Events Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

Flexibility- we use the system for all quoting right through to issuing purchase orders and invoices. Also tracking our pipeline and other classic CRM functions

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Very difficult to think of anything at all!

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing all financial information for the business together in one place. Having a system to keep track of items that need to be ordered for all projects. Assigning suppliers to individual lines items in a quote and seeing the profit change as you order goods.

  ### 44. Workbooks is easy to use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

After researching several CRMs, we decided to go with Workbooks. The team at Workbooks was great to work with. They didn't spend their time selling us a CRM, instead they tried to understand our business. One of our biggest fear was the difficulty of migrating our data. We knew that the process won't be easy. The Workbooks team understood this and worked with us in making the transition smooth. As a result, we are now using a CRM that is easy and intuitive to use. We also were able to customize it easily to support our needs.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Not everyone enjoys change so team member buy-in was slow. The email interface can be better.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

I highly recommend Workbooks.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now have a better understanding of our data and sales process. We are now able to implement marketing campaigns and track it's results.

**Reviewed by:** Jamie K. | Soccer Coach, Legal Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

It's easy to customize, accessible on multiple devices, the cost is low especially with multiple users, and the layout is appealing. Tech support responds within 24 hours (I'm across the seas)I

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Nothing really at this point. I'm still fairly new to the software and there are a lot of features I haven't touched yet. Primary tech support is overseas in Europe but they have a contact here in the US available during daytime hours to assist.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

Give it a try - especially for the minimal upfront cost.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using the software to keep a database of customers and send out automated emails.

The Workbooks team is great to work with. Always helpful and happy to assist with any issues. Also, the knowledge base is a fantastic feature.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

Sometimes Workbooks is not very intuitive from an administrator's point of view.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

Get every staff member to use it continuously (log updates etc.). And certainly book a proper training session with the Workbooks training team.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project Management is the best feature of Workbooks. Immensely helpful.

  ### 48. Wouldn't be without it

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

I don't think there is anything i would really consider changing

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

  ### 50. Straightforward and easy to pick up

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve Y. | Owner, Entertainment, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2015

**What do you like best about Workbooks?**

The reporting functions are incredibly easy to use which means I can keep my managers happy and I have more time to do my day job of calling customers.

It is online so i can access it anywhere, from any computer allowing me to easily import orders while visiting customers or away at trade fairs.

**What do you dislike about Workbooks?**

As orders are entered by product code it can be a bit time consuming to add orders. It certainly makes it very hard to place an order while on the phone to a client.

**Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:**

Speak to the staff with your needs. They are very helpful.

**What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workbooks helps us to easily communicate between our warehouse and sales office - previously this was done by physically running orders from the office to the warehouse or through a fairly lengthy email procedure.
